Purpose: this study was carried out to identify family environmental factors related to changes in sexual attitudes through a sexuality education based on correct sexual attitude for middle school students. Methods: The subjects were 141 students (67 boys and 74 girls) in 4 classes of the first grade of a coeducational middle school, in Seoul. The school nurse provided the sexuality education for 18 hours over 16 weeks. Results: After the sexuality education, there was a significant increase in sexual attitude(t=59.06, p<.001). For family environmental factors related to changes in sexual attitude,'relationship with parents' was a significant factor for both boys and girls. For the girls, there were many other related factors such as 'parents' openness', 'family structure', and 'economic status'. Significant factors were 'Family structure' for attitude to abortion and 'parents' openness' for attitude to intercourse before marriage. Conclusions: Based on these results, systematic sexuality education is needed to enhance correct sexual attitudes in youth. To increase the effect of sexuality education, it should include contents to improve relationships with patents. Also, for parents, programs to improve relationships with their children and to change the values such as openness may also be required.

Hofstede cultural value model is one of the most influential model for cross-cultural studies to measure national difference. In this study, we examine that Hofstede Cultural Dimensions can be measured by World Value Surveys. Selected WVS questions for 31 measurable countries after Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA), approved valid through empirical analysis. It is applicable that Individualism values(IND) has related to 2 questionnaires including life satisfaction, Power Distance values(PDI) to 2 questionnaires about political action(Signing a petition and Joining in boycotts), Masculinity values(MAS) to 2 sexual-role questionnaires like "University is more important for a boy than for a girl", Uncertainty Avoidance values (UAI) to 3 questionnaires about confidence(Parliament, The Political parties and Justice System), Long-Term Oriented values(LTO) to 4 questionnaires including "How proud of nationality" and Indulgence versus Restraints values (IVR)to 2 questionnaires including Feeling of Happiness.

With the purpose of determining the influence of sexual partners on the oestrous behaviour and to evaluate the accuracy of predicting the time from implant withdrawal to sexual receptivity following a treatment with Synchromate B (SMB), 15 adult Brahman cows were used in each of three phases. During phase I and n, random pairs of animals were induced to display oestrus one pair after the other at daily intervals, while in phase III, cows were induced alternately, every other day, one cow on the 1st day, two on the 3rd, one on the 5th, two on the 7th until all cows were treated. Sixty six percent of the cows in phases I and II, and 80% in phase III came into oestrous after treatment. The interval between implant withdrawal and, expected and observed oestrous was statistically different in all phases. Clustering of oestrous was evident. Cows displayed sexual receptivity within a. range of -24 to +96; -24 to +72 and -216 to +192 hours after implant withdrawal for the three phases, respectively, with a tendency for cows treated first (within treatments), to delay their oestrus signs and vice versa. In phase III, four cows showed oestrous behaviour with the implant in place. These in spite of not observing pre-ovulatory follicles. Correlation values of 0.99, 0.93 and 0.90 (P<0.05) were found respectively among treatments, between the number of cows coming into oestrus and the number of mounts observed. These findings suggest that there are social and behavioural factors in a herd that may override exogenous synchronisation treatments.

이 연구는 발달장애인을 돌보는 장애인공동생활가정 종사자 6명을 대상으로 발달장애인의 성문제 행동에 관한 이들의 인식을 총체적으로 이해하여, 장애인복지실천 현장에 필요한 유용한 논의점을 제시하기 위해 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구 방법을 활용하여 자료를 분석 하였다. 분석 결과, 발달장애인의 성문제 행동과 성인식 2가지 본질주제로 분류할 수 있었고, 성문제 행동은 '성적 욕구를 과도하게 표출하는 존재', '성범죄로 연결될 수 있는 부적절한 성행동' 2개의 하위주제로, 성인식에서는 발달장애인 성문제에 대한 '적절한 해결방안의 부재', '성적 매력을 갖기에는 불리한 조건', '좌절된 성', '딜레마의 문제', '비장애인과 다르지 않는 성', '연애와 성관계는 OK, 임신과 결혼은 NO' 라는 6개의 하위 주제로 총 8개의 하위주제를 도출할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 장애인공동생활가정 종사자들은 성인기 발달장애인의 성문제 행동에 대한 적절한 해결 방안이 없다는 것에 대한 문제의식을 가지고 있으며, 발달장애인의 성규범을 강화하고 재생산해내는 주요 주체로서의 역할에 기여하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 이들은 발달장애인의 성규범과 관련하여 가치관 혼란도 함께 경험하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 발달장애인 성에 대한 종사자들의 고정관념적 시각에 관해 되짚어보고, 그들의 성을 바라보는 시각에 관하여 담론형성의 장과 발달장애들의 성을 지원하기 위한 대책마련에 관한 보다 실효성 있는 장애인공동생활가정 종사자의 상담 및 교육프로그램이 필요하다는 것을 제언하였다.

본 연구는 탈관습적인 '불륜' 을 주제로 하는 불륜 드라마의 공급과 소비의 증가에 주목하면서, 기혼 남녀의 성적 사회화에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 불륜 드라마에 대한 기혼 남녀의 문제의식과 관련요인을 밝힌 실증연구이다. 본 연구는 기혼 남녀의 '불륜 드라마 비판의식 유무' 에 부부간 성적 자기결정권, 개인 심리특성(정서적 성숙, 정서적 소외감, 자기지각), 주변의 환경적 특성(혼외관계 만연성), 그리고 인구사회학적 배경(성별, 연령, 학력, 경제수준) 등을 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 기혼남녀(614명)를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 얻은 자료를, SPSS를 이용하여 이항 로지스틱 분석(binary logistic analysis)을 실시하였다. 자료 분석 결과 밝혀진 내용은, 첫째, 불륜 드라마에 대해 비교적 양호한 수준의 비판의식을 가진 기혼 남녀는 46%이며, 전반적으로 불륜 드라마에 대한 기혼 남녀의 비판의식 수준은 다소 저조한 편이다. 둘째, '지나친 불륜미화', '불륜(외도)를 부추김', '가정의 가치훼손' 등의 문제점에 대한 인식에서는 성별 간에 유의한 차이가 없었지만, '노골적 성적묘사' 에 관해서는 남성보다 여성이 훨씬 비판적인 성별특성에 따른 차이점이 발견되었다. 셋째, 기혼 남성들은 '자기지각' 과 '부부간 성적 자기결정권' 이, 기혼 여성의 경우에는 '부부간 성적 자기결정권' 과 '정서적 소외' 가 각각 불륜 드라마 비판의식 유무에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

본 연구는 1979년에 조성된 해송 채종원에서 6년간(1995~2000년) 개화량를 조사하여 얻은 자료를 토대로 생식과정에 관계된 몇 가지 특성들을 계량화 하고자 하였다. 전체 60개 클론 중 18개 클론(30%)이 차지하는 자화의 상대적인 기여도는 0.37(1999)~0.46(1995), 웅화는 0.44(1999)~0.57(1995)로 자화보다 다소 높게 나타났으며 소수 클론에 의해 편중되는 현상이 다른 수종에 비하여 작게 나타났다. 배우체(v♀, v♂) 수준에서 상대적인 유효집단수는 각각 0.59(1995)~0.91(1999)과 0.56(1995)~0.83(1998), 접합체($v_b$) 수준에서는 0.72(1995)~0.93(1999)으로 추정되어 자성배우체가 웅성배우체보다 많게 나타났다. 웅화 개화량에 대한 평균지수는 전체 클론의 73% 이상이 0.4~0.6($0.5{\pm}0.1$)의 값을 나타내었으며, 연도간에는 73%(1996)~100%(2000)로 다양하게 나타났다. 성적 불균형도($A_s$)는 0.09~0.26으로 추정되어 다른 수종에 비해 상대적으로 낮아 높은 유전적 균일성을 나타내었다. 모든 유효집단수 간에는 정의 상관을 보였으며, 성적 불균형도는 모든 유효집단수와 부의 상관을 나타내었다.

한성반문 및 한성란색 계통잠에 있어서 전좌염색체로 인한 생리적 결함이 전견중, 견층중 및 견층비율에 미치는 영향을 이들에 관한 성차를 지표로 하여 검토한 결과, 한성 및 비한성 계통견의 전견중의 성차 평균치는 각각 127%, 129%, 견층중의 성차는 각각 107%, 110%, 견층비율의 성차는 공히 85%였다. 이상의 결과에서 한성반문 및 한성 난색계통잠은 전견중, 견층중, 견층비율 등의 실용형질에 관한 한 전좌된 염색체편에 기인하는 생리적 결함은 극히 미소한 것으로 생각된다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the subjective experiences of institutionalized, unmarried teenage mothers. Through structured in-depth interviews, we have explored their feelings and values about pregnancies, sexual behaviors, contraception, babies, adoption, babies' fathers, and their own families. Ten unmarried teenage mothers, who residing in welfare facilities located in Seoul, Kyonggi, and Kangwon, were interviewed. It turned out that the teenage mothers we interviewed had given little to no thought about pregnancy and contraception at the time conception. They contradicted themselves on a number of points. Since most of the fathers denied their responsibilities, the mothers were angry with the babies's fathers. At the same time, they felt humiliated about having to inform the babies' fathers about their pregnancy. They felt simultaneously sorry and resentful toward their own parents. They cared about their babies, yet they regretted not having had an abortion. Listening to what these mothers say will help the professionals and researchers to explicate certain preconceptions and prejudice about them, and to improve policies and services for them.

Robinia pseudoacacia has become invasively naturalized in Japan. We investigated the role of sexual reproduction in the development of R. pseudoacacia riparian forests along the Chikumagawa River in Japan, by using five chloroplast (cpSSR) and seven nuclear (nSSR) markers. We identified eight chloroplast haplotypes and 147 nuclear genotypes from 619 R. pseudoacacia trees sampled in three plots (Plots A, B, and C) and along two line transects (Lines D and E). CpSSR analyses showed that multiple maternal lines were distributed along the river, and that some haplotypes from different populations overlapped. In addition, while Plots A and B were separated by a short distance, only these two plots exhibited genetic differentiation in the haplotypes. In the nSSR analysis, all pairwise $F_{ST}$ values among the three plots were significantly different from zero. Kinship analysis based on nSSR markers revealed that kinship connected many individuals to another individual from the same plot. These results indicate that seed dispersal near to mother trees contributes to the fine-scale genetic structure of R. pseudoacacia riparian forests. Our results indicate that sexual reproduction, in addition to asexual reproduction, is a major contributor to the fine-scale formation of R. pseudoacacia forests.

In Written on the Body, by creating the narrator's ungendered and unsexed identity, Winterson makes her text open to the reader's assumption of the narrator's sexual and gender identity. Thus, this novel has been read, on the one hand, as a lesbian text by those who assume that the narrator is a female and, on the other hand, as a suspicious text colluding with patriarchal and heterosexual values by those who define the narrator as a male. Those readings of the narrator as one of either sex/gender, however, demonstrate how (academic as well as general) readers have been accustomed to the gender-based reading habits in which textual meanings are dichotomously arranged along the lines of sex and gender of characters. Challenging those dualistic "gendered" readings, this paper reads Winterson's Written on the Body as a queer text which interrogates, troubles, and subverts the heterosexual concepts of narrative, desire, and body without reducing the narrator's identity to the essentialist sex and gender system. More specifically, this paper examines how the narrator's 'un-/over-' determined sexual and gender identity queers the narrative structure of author-character-reader; how the narrator's queer (fluid) desire is passing and traveling across categorical contours of (homo-/hetero-) sexual desires; how Winterson challenges the concept of a coherent body and queers the concept of body as a hermeneutic text with myriad textual grids which are not coherently mapped by power but randomly inscribed by nomadic desires.
