비만 기전에 관여하는 칠정(七情)에 대한 벡터적 연구 (The Study on the Physical Vectors of the Seven Passions in the Pathophysiology of Obesity)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to analyze the seven passions in terms of physical vector, and to understand the point of actions and directions. The result of this study will help us understand the aspect that the seven passions result in obesity and contribute in finding effective treatments. Methods : The characters of each seven passions were identified according to ${\ulcorner}$Hwangjenaekyung-Huangdineijing${\lrcorner}$. Results and Conclusions : 1. Each of the seven passions differs individually in physical characters in terms of points of actions and directions. 2. As the vector points of each seven passion work closely to digestive metabolism, and if the directions of vector clash into normal physiology, huge effects on obesity can be brought about. 3. Obesity, as a pathological situation, can be approached by canceling out all the vector elements of the seven passions. Here, the vector elements are basically regarded as the sources of obesity. 4. Psychological models of obesity can be applied for prevention and treatment.

정적지능(情績知能)에 관한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察) (A Literature Study on Emotional Intelligence)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to determine oriental medical concept of emotional intelligence, and to develop the ways of treatment. Methods We investigated the literature of the oriental and western medicine about an emotional intelligence. Results Regarding an emotional intelligence from the oriental medicine, it will follow in attributes of five elements(五行), five emotions(五志), seven passions(七情). Due to the five emotions and seven passions will take to control themselves with following the principle of poles at interinhibition, and intergeneration among the five phases. There is a possibility of trying to apply in reflection control of emotion(partIV). Five emotions(五志), depression theories(鬱症), and a control of theories of seven passions(七情調節) will be applied an emotional stability and an emotional control. Conclusions This study showed that oriental medicine has more merits better than western medicine about emotional intelligence, because oriental medicine consider that the body and mental is an inseparable relation. The further study is necessary with the concept formulation and for a historical investigation about an emotional intelligence.

정서지능(情緖知能)에 관한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察) (A literature study on Emotional Intelligence)

  • 목적: 이 연구의 목적은 정서지능의 한의학적 개념의 정립하고, 치료 방법을 개발하는 것이다. 도구: 우리는 정서지능과 관련된 문헌을 분석 및 조사하였다. 결과: 한의학에서 정서지능은 오행, 오지, 칠정의 이론에 부합한다고 볼 수 있다. 오지와 칠정은 오행상승과 오행상극의 이론에 따라 정서조절의 역할을 할 수 있기 때문에 정서조절 영역 IV에 부합한다고 볼 수 있다. 오지, 울증, 칠정조절은 정서의 안정과 정서조절에 적용시킬 수 있다. 결론: 이 연구는 한의학이 서양의학보다 정서지능에 관하여 더 많은 장점을 지니고 있다. 왜냐하면 한의학은 정신과 육체를 불가분의 관계로 보기 때문이다. 앞으로의 연구에서는 정서지능의 한의학적 개념의 정립과 문헌적 추가 연구가 필요할 것이다.

<명의류안(名醫類案)>에 나타난 감정으로 유발된 질환 및 심리치료 의안(醫案)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Disease induced by Emotional Problem and the Psychotherapeutic Medical Records in Mingyi-leian (Classified Medical Records of Famous Doctors))

  • Objects : In the present study, we translated Mingyi-leian into modern Korean, and studied the medical records about the disease induced by emotional problem and the psychotherapy in Mingyi-leian for find the possibility of application that established researches did not studied. Methods : It was 197 cases that related to psychotherapy and emotional problem called Seven Passions(七情). We studied these records by statistical methods. Results : The anger(怒) was the most numerous cause into classified to Seven Passions in 197 cases. In the order of frequency of emotional causes, it was worry(憂), surprise(驚), lust(思), fear(恐), sorrow(悲), joy(喜) that classified into Seven Passions. The most disease induced by emotional problem was internal trauma(內傷), 11 cases. There was very numerous diseases induced by emotional problem except internal trauma. In ratio of the sexes, it was 104 cases in female and 93 cases in male from 197 cases. But the number of all case records about male were more than about female in Mingyi-leian, so female ratio was two times to male ratio. Specially, the percentage of cases about disease due to anger high in female. In ratio of the Seven Passions, the anger was most frequent cause of diseases due to emotional problem in 197 cases, and mostly caused bleeder's diseases. In oral medical treatments, various prescriptions were used. On the whole, the ratio of prescriptions about venting grudges(解鬱) records are mostly application of compatibility and incompatibility with the and warmly strengthening(溫補) were high. Psychotherapeutic medical Five Elements(五行) relation. But it also has psychotherapeutic medical record made by detailed and correct analysis can equal to modern psychotherapy, it is worth refer to clinic. Conclusions : Mingyi-leian and its medical records about the disease induced by emotional problem and the psychotherapeutic records have sufficient meaning to not only modern neuropsychiatric physicians but also physicians of all medical fields to treat disease of this kind.

유학의 흐름과 하도낙서(河圖洛書) 및 사단칠정을 통한 동무(東武) 이제마(李濟馬)의 사상인 형성에 대한 연구 (Stream of Confucianism and a Study of Dongmu Lee Jema's Formation of Sasang through Hado and Nock-seo, along with Four Character and Seven Feeling Theory)

  • According to Confucianism, the world before Confucius focused on respecting the heaven which meant that everything could be done by the heaven. After the period of Confucianism, Joo-Ja asserted that everything could be done by nature. During the Chosun Dynasty, philosophers such as Seo Kyung-duck, Lee Hwang, and Lee Yi talked about four characters and seven passions of human being. They started to focus more on the inside of human nature. During the later period of the Chosun Dynasty, a philosopher by the name of Dongmugong Lee Jema analyzed that one's nature and feelings can change his or her external matter and the function of internal organs by purity or impurity of one's mind. Based on these analysis, Dongmugong discovered 'sasangin' which puts more emphasis on one's state of mind compared to the outside the world. Also, Dongmugong tried to figure out the connections between Confucianism and medical science. If you use change fire and stone theory which is difference between hado and nock-seo to expain four seven theory one's mind could be define as four natural characters and seven feelings. From four seven theory four is ying and seven is yang. This is the method of cure and understand the structure of human body. And also, four natural characters and seven feelings can be divided into heaven and earth. You can see Four natural characters is far more similar to heaven and seven feelings are similar to earth. According to four-seven theory hado is permanent and you can find out 'sasangin' is permanent also. Since seven feelings are influenced by sam-jae, you can analogize there are 21 different types in 'sasangin'. An underlying principle should there be 28 different types of sasangin instead of 21 different types of sasangin but one quater of sasangin is hidden according to samhyuniljang theory. All creations in the world are organized by unification of the great absolute and symmetry distinction of yingyang. With these facts identity of the heaven, earth and man which is named samjae generates symbols of independent sasang. And also, sasang generates relations between five element, six energy and the six family relation. From six family relation comes seven feelings of man which creates a category of the eight trigrams for divination and unification of nine palace. All these process are united.

동의보감(東醫寶鑑) 중(中) 황연해독탕(黃連解毒湯)의 활용(活用)에 대한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Application of Hwangnyeonhaedok-tang Blended Prescriptions in Dongeuibogam)

  • The results of documentary survey of 81 prescriptions of Hwangnyeonhaedok-tang and Hwangnyeonhaedok-tang blended ones introduced in Dongeuibogam in which there are 42 of prescriptions using Hwangnyeonhaedok-tang as main constituent and 39 of prescriptions using Hwangnyeonhaedok-tang as assistant constituent can be summarized as followings, 1. Hwangnyeonhaedok-tang blended prescriptions using Hwangnyeonhaedok-tang as main constituent are applied to 20 categories of disease such as 7 of external disease from the chapters of various dermatos is, various injury, tumor(16.6%), 5 of fire disease from the chapter of fire(12%), 5 of eye diseases from the chapter of eye(12%), 4 of disease originated from damage by coldness from the chapter of coldness(9%), etc. 2, It has been found that mainly considered causative agents in diseases, when making up Hwangnyeonhaedok-tang blended prescriptions using Hwangnyeonhaedok-tang as main constituent, are feverish toxin in internal organs, followed by exogenous damp and fever, feverish toxin from damage by coldness and more such as extravasated blood, damp toxin, lack of ki and blood, lack of yin, congestion, the seven passions, blood overflow and excess liquor and sex.

보길도 세연정(洗然庭)의 공간구조 형식에 내재한 전통색채 분석 (Analysis of the Korea Traditional Colors within the Spatial Arrangement and Form of the Traditional Garden of Seyeonjeong)

  • 본 연구는 세연정의 공간구조 및 형식과 공감각적, 상징적 인지적 요소에 내재하는 전통색채를 분석함으로써 첫째, 세연정 작정에 내재한 전통 색채를 찾아내고 동시에 그 의미를 해석함으로써 세연정 작정의 또 다른 해석 방법을 제시하고 둘째, 기존에 제시된 별서정원의 전통색채 분석 방법론의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증함을 부목적으로 하였다. 연구방법으로는 전통색채 및 세연정의 작정 배경과 이론, 전통색채 분석 방법 등에 대해서는 문헌연구를 통해 수행하였으며, 전통색채 분석 방법을 세연정 별서에 실증적으로 적용하여 연구 결과를 도출하는 방법을 사용하였다. 특히, 전통색채 분석 방법으로는 세연정에서 나타나는 공간적 요소를 크게 시각적, 공감각적, 상징적 인식적 공간 요소로 구분하여 시각적 공간으로 공간 및 경물의 위치와 방위, 공감각적 공간으로 계절과 시간 및 오관, 상징적 인식적 공간으로 칠정과 사단 등으로 구분하고 각각의 공간요소에 대한 오정색 체계 분석하여 그 의미를 해석하도록 하였다. 연구 결과를 정리 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 세연정에서 나타난 공간구조 및 형식은 세연정(洗然亭)을 중심으로 하여 세연정의 사각형 누각의 평면 형태에 따라 동남, 서북의 두 개의 방위 축으로 구분될 수 있었다. 둘째, 세연정에 나타나는 전통색채는 '백색', '청색', '흑색', '적색', '황색 '순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 전통색채 분석에서 청렴과 순결을 상징하는 '백색'이 가장 많이 출현하는 것은 작정자인 윤선도가 맑고 깨끗하게 정치적 미련 없이 세속에 묻혀 살아가는 것을 즐기고자 작정하였다는 해석의 여지를 남겼다. 또한 자연의 생명력을 상징하는 청색의 출현이 우세를 보이는 가운데 지혜를 상징하는 '흑색', 신성하고 숭고한 생명력을 상징하는 '적색'이 유사한 비율로 출현하고 높고 고귀한 지위를 상징하는 '황색'이 제일 낮은 빈도로 출현하는 것은 윤선도가 세연정을 통해 벼슬 등 지위보다는 자연을 즐기며, 그를 통해 지혜를 쌓고, 춤과 시 짓기 등 놀이를 통해 윤선도 스스로 신성하고 고귀한 존재로 여생의 삶을 영위하고자 하는 의도로 작정되었다는 것과 일치되거나 적어도 연관되어 해석될 여지를 보였다. 넷째, 이상의 연구 결과는 본 연구에 선행된 소쇄원의 전통색채 분석과 의미 해석과 비교 고찰해 보았을 때 소쇄원에 처음으로 적용된 전통색채 분석 방법론에 대한 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증할 수 있었다.
