IN-LINE NIR SPECTROSCOPY AS A TOOL FOR THE CONTROL OF FERMENTATION PROCESSES IN THE FERMENTED MEATS INDUSTRY

  • The research described here was undertaken with the aim of monitoring, optimizing and ultimately controlling the production of heterofermentative microbes used as starters in the salami industry. The use of starter cultures in the fermented meats industry is a well-established technique used to shorten and standardize the ripening process, and to improve and control the organoleptic quality of the final product. Starter cultures are obtained by the submerged cultivation of suitable microorganisms in stirred, and sometimes aerated, fermenters where monitoring of key physiological parameters such as the concentration of biomass, substrates and metabolites suffers from the general lack of real-time measurement techniques applicable to aseptic processes. In this respect, the results of the present work are relevant to all submerged fermentation processes. Previous work on the application of on-line NIR spectroscopy to the lactic acid fermentation (Dosi et al. - Monreal NIR1995) had successfully used a system based on a measuring cell included in a circulation loop external to the fermenter. The fluid handling and sterility problems inherent in an external circulation system prompted us to explore the use of an in-line system where the NIR probe is immersed in the culture and is thus exposed to the hydrodynamic conditions of the stirred and aerated fluid. Aeration was expected to be a potential source of problems in view of the possible interference of air bubbles with the measurement device. The experimental set-up was based on an in-situ sterilizable NIR probe connected to the instrument by means of an optical fiber bundle. Preliminary work was carried out to identify and control potential interferences with the measurement, in particular the varying hydrodynamic conditions prevailing at the probe tip. We were successful in defining the operating conditions of the fermenter and the geometrical parameters of the probe (flow path, positioning, etc.) were the NIR readings were reliable and reproducible. The system thus defined was then used to construct and validate calibration curves for tile concentration of biomass, carbon source and major metabolites of two different microorganisms used as salami starters. Real-time measurement of such parameters coupled with the direct interfacing of the NIR instrument with the PC-based measurement and control system of the fermenter enabled the development of automated strategies for the interactive optimization of the starter production process.

  • 인터넷 가상환경에 존재하고있는 온라인 쇼핑몰은 새로운 거래유형을 정착시키기 위한 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있으며 새로운 환경에 걸 맞는 생존모델의 구축에 더할 나위 없는 노력을 경주하고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 온라인 쇼핑몰에게는 고객을 유지해야할 필요를 느끼고 있으며 다양한 마케팅적 접근이 시도 되도 있다 본 연구는 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 구축에 있어서 다양한 구성환경 특성을 바탕으로 고객유지에 영향을 미치는 변수를 찾고자 시도하였다 이러한 발상의 바탕으로 고객이 쇼핑의 행동을 직 접적으로 행하는 데 있어서 핵심적인 효과인 쇼핑가치의 틀을 동원하고자 한다. 즉 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 특성이 쇼핑가치에 영향을 미칠 수 있게 구성된다면 쇼핑가치로 인해서 고객은 유지될 수 있다고 연구의 구성을 설정하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의해 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 구성에 있어서 도구적 틀을 제시하는데 기여하고자 하며 종국적으로 고객의 유지에 대하여 가치를 판단해 보고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 감성적 특성(디자인, 원격실재감) 웹인지도 기능적 특성(고객배려, 상품검색, 정보제공, 제품가치, 거래시스템)이 쇼핑가치(쾌 락적 쇼핑가치, 실용적 쇼핑가치)와 고객유지(신뢰, 고객만족, 관계지향)에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 분석하였다. 분석결과 웹인지도, 고객배려, 정보제공은 기각되었으며 그 외 변수는 채택되었다

병원서비스별 원가분석모형의 개발과 적용 (Development of a Hospital Service-based Costing System and Its Application)

  • The managerial environment of hospitals in Korea characterized by low levels of medical insurance fees is worsening by increasing government regulations as to the utilization of medical services, rising costs of labor, material, and medical equipments, growing patient expectations concerning the quality of services, and escalating competitions among large hospitals in the market. Hospitals should seek for their survival strategies in this harsh environment and they should have information about costs of their products in doing so. However, it has not been available due to the complexity of the production process of hospital services. The objectives of this study were to develop a service-based cost accounting model and to apply the developed model to a study hospital to obtain cost information of hospital services. A model commonly used for the job-order product cost accounting in the manufacturing industry was modified for the use in hospitals in Korea. Actual costs, instead of standard costs, incurred to produce a unit of services during a given period of time were estimated in the model. Data required to implement the model included financial information, statistics for the allocation of supportive cost center costs to final cost centers, statistics for the allocation of final cost center costs to services, and the volume of each services charged to patients during a study period. The model was executed using data of a university teaching hospital located in Seoul for the fiscal year 1992. Data for financial information, allocation statistics fo supportive service costs, and the volume of services, most of them in electronic form, were available to the study. Data for allocation statistics of final cost center costs were collected in the study. There were 15 types of evaluation and management service, 2, 923 types of technical service, and 2, 608 types of drug and material service charged to patients in the study hospital during the fiscal year 1992. Labor costs of each of seven types of pesonnel, material costs of 611 types of drugs and materials, and depreciation costs of 212 types of medical equipments, miscellaneous costs, and indirect costs incurred in producing a unit of each services were estimated. Medical insurance fees for basic services such as evaluation and management of inpatients and outpatients, injection, and filling prescriptions, and for operating procedures were found to be set lower than costs. Infrequent services which use expensive medical equipments showed negative revenuse as well. On the other hand, fees for services not covered by the insurance such as CT, MRI and Sonogram, and for laboratory tests were higher than costs. This study has a significance in making it possible for a hospital to obtain cost information for all types of services which produced income based on all types of expenses incurred during a given period of time. This information can assist the management of a hospital in finding an effective cost reduction strategy, an efficient service-mix strategy under a given fee structure, and an optimum strategy for within-hospital resource allocations.

대당$\cdot$대일본과의 교류관계를 통해 본 발해의 복식문화 연구 - 교류시 품목을 중심으로 - (The Study on the Costume of Parhae through the Exchange for Tang and Ancient Japan - focused on the Exchanged Items-)

  • This study is consider·ed about the relation or costume among Parhae, ancient Japan and Tang and the culture of this time commonly was influenced by Tang;s culture. The recorded items, which were exchanged from Parhae to Tang and ancient Japan, are the pelt of marten, seal, bear and tiger skin or Ammowhaha(암모화) Gu(구) and so on. Other items from Tang and ancient Japan to Parhae are various clothes and material like silk and so on. This Parhae's clothes made with leather obtained through hunting were the main product of Parhae and had been greatly famous in Tang and ancient Japan. At that time, Tang and ancient Japan had been only dependent on the agricultural life but had not been accustomed to the hunting life, and thereupon, the people in Tang and Nara Era had difficulties to get leather clothes. Accordingly, the leather products stood for the rich, and the people who purchased the leather products from Parhae were recognized as the rich. On the other hand, The prince and the royal family in Parhae were dispatched to Tang as Sooktwui(숙위). They paid a tribute to Tang and In return for it, Tang gave to Sookwui as well as to Parhae's envoys various items and clothes such as Po(포), belt(대), gold and silver Eodae(어대) and textile like a type of silk. These clothes were considered as the formal uniform like Kwanbok(관복) of Parhae. Specially, the time when Sookwui was sent to Tang rot-responded with the time when Tang gave formal uniform to Parhae's envoys. Therefore, we can confirm that the sending of Sookwui influenced to form uniform system of Parhae. In this exchange relation, there were several duplicated items showed, for example Po(포)-belt(대), Eui set(의일습), Eoeui(어의), Jobok(조복), Go(고). These items in Parhae were appeared in process of exchanging from Tang to Japan and from Tang to Parhae. At that time, the exchanges between Tang and Parhae were frequently active much more than those between Tang and Japan, and the acceptance of the culture from Tang was easier in Parhae than Japan in consideration of the geographical location. Therefore, those clothes could be understood as the items already used in Parhae and affected from Tang. These items in Parhae were appeared in process of exchanging from Tang to Japan and from Japan to Parhae. As a result, it is expected that the costumes, which Parhae took from Japan, are the same as those of Tang.

템프코어 냉각모사 장치 개발을 통한 SD400 철근 미세조직 구현 (Microstructural Realization of SD400 Rebar by Developing Tempcore Simulation Apparatus)

  • 고강도 철근을 생산하기 위해서는 템프코어(Tempcore)라고 불리는 냉각 공정이 적용되고 있는데, 템프코어를 이용하면 합금원소를 첨가하지 않고 Mild steel 로부터 강도 및 용접성이 우수한 철근을 생산 할 수 있다. 하지만 현장 설비를 이용하여 다양한 냉각 조건과 화학성분 변경의 영향을 평가하기에는 한계가 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 템프코어 공정을 모사하기 위한 장치를 개발하였으며, 이를 이용하여 경화된 표층부, 중간영역, 연한 내부 조직으로 이루어진 템프코어 조직을 구현하였다. 실험장치는 현장 설비와 동일한 Cooler 1 기가 장착되었고, 12~13 bar 의 압력과 최대 $50m^3/h$의 유량을 공급하는 펌프라인으로 구성되어 있다. 항복강도를 기준으로 400 MPa 이상을 요구하는 강종인 SD400 모사 결과 경화층 면적비 및 냉각 깊이 별 경도가 제품과 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다.

중소기업의 윤리적 특성요인과 기업경쟁력 간의 관계 (Correlation between Ethical Factors and Their Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 중소기업의 기업윤리가 중요함을 인식하고 기업윤리의 이론적 접근과 이들의 윤리적 요인을 파악하여 윤리적 특성요인들과 기업의 경쟁력간의 관계와 영향을 연구 하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 실증연구를 위한 모집단은 서울 및 수도권 지역의 벤처빌딩에 입주한 5인 이상 규모의 국내 중소업체이며 134부의 설문을 표본으로 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 고객과 사회적 책임은 조직신뢰에 유의적으로 검증되었고 둘째, 경영자 가치관도 조직신뢰에 유의적으로 검증되었으나 셋째, 도덕적 역량은 조직신뢰에 유의적이지 않은 결과로 나타났다. 넷째, 조직 신뢰는 제품경쟁력과 가격경쟁력에 유의적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째 고객과 사회에 대해 사명감을 가지고 조직적이고 체계적인 가치를 제공하여야한다. 이를 위해 고객과 사회의 요구를 분석하여 기업경영에 반영하고 긴밀한 관계형성, 신뢰감을 주는 마케팅활동 및 기업이미지 향상 노력을 통해 구성원들이 자긍심을 가질 수 있도록 상호연관효과가 이루어져야 하며 둘째, 경영자들은 높은 수준의 윤리의식을 가지고 윤리적인 리더십에 의한 솔선수범을 실현하여야 한다. 셋째 조직신뢰를 높이기 위해 윤리적인 요소들에 대한 신뢰를 높여야한다. 이를 위해 내, 외부고객을 포함한 관계 네트워크에 대한 윤리적 수준을 높여 조직에 대한 신뢰를 높이고 이를 통해 구성원의 사기진작과 기업에 대한 공헌도를 높여 궁극적으로 기업경쟁력을 높여야 한다.

LC-MS/MS를 이용한 농산물 중 pyrimisulfan 잔류량 분석법 개발 및 확인 (Development and validation of an analytical method for pyrimisulfan determination in agricultural commodities by LC-MS/MS)

  • 국내 신규 제초제로 등록된 pyrimisulfan에 대해 농산물 중 잔류실태를 조사하기 위하여 LC-MS/MS를 이용한 시험법을 개발하였다. Pyrimisulfan 시험법의 회수율은 현미, 감자, 감귤, 고추에서 0.005 mg/kg 수준에서 88.7~99.3%이고 0.05 mg/kg수준에서 각각 90.1~94.2%였다. 회수율에 대한 모든 분석오차는 10% 미만으로 Codex 잔류물질 분석 가이드라인에 만족하였다.16 분석을 위한 기기 조건에서 pyrimisulfan의 정량한계는 0.005 mg/kg이었으며 0.01~1.0 mg/kg 범위에서 상관계수(R) 0.999 이상의 높은 직선성을 보여주었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발된 잔류농약 시험법은 농산물을 대상으로 효과적인 시료 전처리 방법과 최적의 정제 과정을 확립하여 다양한 농산물에 대한 잔류량 검출이 적당함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같이 확립한 pyrimisulfan의 잔류시험법은 국제적 분석 기준을 만족할 뿐만 아니라 분석과정의 신뢰성 또한 확보할 수 있어서 본 잔류농약 시험법은 공정시험법으로 사용 될 것이다.

프랜차이즈 조직의 학습지향성과 관계마케팅지향성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Franchise's Learning Orientation and Relationship Marketing Orientation on the Job Satisfaction)

  • Purpose - Nowadays, more than ever before, fierce competition, deep market segmentation, short product life cycles, and intensifying customer needs are putting increasing pressure on franchise's organizations to satisfy their customers by creating market-oriented relationships with and enhancing their market knowledge of them. One way that this might be achieved is by establishing deep ties (i.e., job commitment and job satisfaction) with their employees. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine how two important constructs of franchises' strategic efforts, LO (learning orientation) and RMO (relationship marketing orientation), affect job satisfaction, given the mediating role of job commitment. A franchise system comprises a set of contractual arrangements by which mutual obligations are performed. An organizational learning goal motivates employees to improve their abilities and master the tasks they perform. Relationship marketing, in addition, is to identify, establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with customers and other stakeholders to ensure that the objectives of all parties are met and this is done through the mutual exchange of promises. In a relationship marketing orientation, then, a firm creates, maintains, and enhances a strong relationship with its customers by sustaining long-term ties. This study was designed to examine the evolution of various theoretical approaches to franchise systems in order to determine whether theories about firms have significantly affected the franchise system. To this end, the authors developed a structural model consisting of several constructs. Previous studies have suggested that franchises' learning and relationship marketing orientations are important occupational immersion dimensions driving job satisfaction. Research design, data, methodology - We empirically tested a process of how the learning orientation and the relationship marketing orientation influence job commitment and job satisfaction using survey data drawn from 150 responding franchisees who were interviewed about their individual tendencies. Results - The results of this study provide empirical evidence that learning orientation, relationship marketing orientation, and job commitment all influence franchisees' job satisfaction. The results of this study indicate that, first, learning orientation had a significant effect on job satisfaction; second, relationship marketing orientation was positively related to job commitment; third, job commitment had a significant effect on job satisfaction. We also found that relationship marketing orientation and job satisfaction were mediated by job commitment. Conclusions - The findings of this study confirm the importance of learning orientation and relationship marketing orientation in maintaining a positive marketing relationship between franchiser and franchisee from to the perspective of the market. This indicates that franchiser support such as educational programs provided by the franchiser will help franchisees attain higher business management achievement and satisfaction. Moreover, a positive relationship between franchisees and consumers can be maintained through tie effects. Our findings also suggest that learning orientation plays a critical role in job satisfaction within the franchise system.

통합형 전자폐색제어장치의 적합성 확인을 위한 현장시험 (A Field test of an Integrated Electronic Block System for verification of the suitability)

  • 열차를 안전하면서도 신속하게 운행하기 위해서는 항상 선행열차와 후속열차가 일정한 간격을 유지하면서 운행하여야 한다. 이를 위해 일정한 간격의 폐색구간을 설정하고, 열차의 안전운전을 위해 단일 폐색구간에는 1대의 열차만이 운행될 수 있도록 제어하는 폐색시스템이 필수적으로 요구된다. 기존의 폐색시스템은 신호기에 신호를 현시하는 계전기 방식의 자동폐색장치(ABS: Automatic Block System)로 구성되며, 이것은 연동장치를 통해 궤도회로 등선로변 장치들과 연동된다. 연동장치의 경우 국산 전자연동장치로 교체되고 있지만, 폐색장치는 여전히 아날로그 방식의 계전기 형태를 사용하고 있으며, 다른 선로변 장치들과 독립적으로 설치된다. 따라서 기존의 폐색장치는 건설과 유지보수 측면에서 많은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 또한 현재 국내 기존선에 사용되고 있는 ABS와 선로변 전자장치(LEU: Lineside Electronic Unit)는 동일한 장소에서 동일한 신호 정보에 의해 열차를 제어하고 있음에도 불구하고 별개 시스템으로 분리되어 설치되기 때문에, 각 제품의 단가 및 유지보수 비용 측면에서 효율적이지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 폐색장치인 ABS에 통신 및 디지털 전자 기술을 접목시킨 통합형 전자폐색제어장치(integrated electronic block system)와 그것의 현장시험 결과를 소개한다. 현장시험은 1월초부터 8월말까지 8개월간 총 8번의 주기점검을 통해 시행하였으며, 이를 통해 개발된 전자폐색장치의 유효성과 적합성을 확인하였다.

카노 모형을 이용한 모바일 쇼핑몰 앱의 서비스 품질 요인 분석에 관한 연구 (The Study on the e-Service Quality Factors in m-Shopping Mall App based on the Kano Model)

  • Purpose - In this study, it is classified the service quality dimension of mobile shopping app using Kano model. In addition, it is evaluated quality factors suitable for strategic management from the viewpoint of service provider through mobile application through binary dimension analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, seven quality dimensions such as information quality, reliability, immediacy, convenience, design, security and customer service were derived through related studies to make binary shopping quality app quality measurement. 37 sub-variables were set by each quality dimensions. Each questionnaire was composed of positive and negative items like Kano's proposed method, and the satisfaction coefficient suggested by Timko(1993) was examined to understand the influence of each factors on customer satisfaction. Results - As a result of research, shopping app users perceived unity quality factor in most items of service quality dimension such as information quality, reliability, immediacy, convenience and customer service. In addition, the satisfaction coefficient showed a good impression, quick response of the result, fast delivery, and the unsatisfactory coefficient showed more interest in personal information such as payment method safety, and transaction security. As a result of research, shopping app users perceived unity quality factor in most items of service quality dimension such as information quality, reliability, immediacy, convenience and customer service. And, in information quality, the information overload was classified as an apathetic quality component, while the related information provision belonged to an attractive quality component. In reliability quality, customized service provision was classified as an attractive quality component. In instant connectivity, the quality of the connection during transport was classified as an attractive quality component. In convenience quality, access to product information was classified as a one-way quality component. All components of designs quality were classified as attractive quality components, and in security quality, all of their components were all classified as one quality component. Lastly, in customer service, they components were all classified as a single quality component. In addition, the satisfaction coefficient showed a good impression, quick response of the result, fast delivery, and the unsatisfactory coefficient showed more interest in personal information such as payment method safety, and transaction security. Conclusion - In the online service environment, which is difficult to differentiate in terms of upward upgrading only by technological implementation and function, the results of this study can be suggested as a differentiating factor for major channels with customers rather than improve the brand image.
