  • 본 논문은 신경회로망에 근거한 교류서보전동기의 제어를 위해 새로운 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 일반적인 제어 기법을 사용하는 대선 선경회로망 PID제어가가 교류서보전동기 제어를 위해 이용되었다. 서보시스템에서 널리 이용되는 제어는 PID제어이며, 이는 간단한 구조와 안전성과 신뢰성을 지니고 있다. 그러나 복잡한 사스템에서 문제점을 나타내므로 불확실한 파라미터의 상태에서는 불완전한 동작을 나타내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PID제어기의 개선된 제어 알고리즘을 제안하여 교류서보전동기의 시스템을 신경회로망제어를 이용한 PID제어기에 의해 구동시켜 단계적인 제어를 시뮬레이션과 실험에 의해서 제안한 제어알고리즘의 타당성을 입증하고자 한다.

Robust Tracking Control Based on Intelligent Sliding-Mode Model-Following Position Controllers for PMSM Servo Drives

  • In this paper, an intelligent sliding-mode position controller (ISMC) for achieving favorable decoupling control and high precision position tracking performance of permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) servo drives is proposed. The intelligent position controller consists of a sliding-mode position controller (SMC) in the position feed-back loop in addition to an on-line trained fuzzy-neural-network model-following controller (FNNMFC) in the feedforward loop. The intelligent position controller combines the merits of the SMC with robust characteristics and the FNNMFC with on-line learning ability for periodic command tracking of a PMSM servo drive. The theoretical analyses of the sliding-mode position controller are described with a second order switching surface (PID) which is insensitive to parameter uncertainties and external load disturbances. To realize high dynamic performance in disturbance rejection and tracking characteristics, an on-line trained FNNMFC is proposed. The connective weights and membership functions of the FNNMFC are trained on-line according to the model-following error between the outputs of the reference model and the PMSM servo drive system. The FNNMFC generates an adaptive control signal which is added to the SMC output to attain robust model-following characteristics under different operating conditions regardless of parameter uncertainties and load disturbances. A computer simulation is developed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed intelligent sliding mode position controller. The results confirm that the proposed ISMC grants robust performance and precise response to the reference model regardless of load disturbances and PMSM parameter uncertainties.

  • We propoes a study on the dynamic characteristics analysis and position control of 5-degree multi-joint manipulators for untact remote working at construction sites and manufacturing plants. The main frame of freedom multi-joint manipulator consists of five elements, boom cylinder, boom cylinder, arm cylinder, bucket cylinder, and rotation joint and link. In addition, the main purpose of the proposed system is to realize the work of the manufacturing process or construction site by remote control. Motion control of the entire system is a servo valve control method by hydraulic servo cylinders for one to four joints, and a servo motor control method is applied for five joints. The reliability of the proposed method was verified through performance experiments by computer simulation.

외란관측기를 이용한 모션 스테이지의 위치제어 (Position Control of Motion Stage using Disturbance Observer)

  • For commercialized servo drives of the motion stage to include embedded controller, external terminal is provided for tracking command and encoder output, but internal terminal is not for control input. Thus, it is difficult to combine out signal of embedded controller with that of external compensator such as disturbance observer. In this study, for precise tracking control of motion stage without hardware change of the servo drive, tacking control system is composed of an inner loop of servo drive and an outer loop of disturbance observer. Then, the control system is designed so that the output response of actual plant corresponds with nominal model's in transient state as well as in steady state. Finally, the experiment results show that the designed control system is effective to reconcile actual plant behavior with nominal model under nonlinear friction and parameter perturbation.

  • DC servo motors are widely used in many industrial fields as actuator of robot and driving power motors of electrical vehicle. Usually in the speed control systems, of motors, speed sensors are required and this fact results in the increased price and operating cost and the limited application of the motors. In this paper, a new speed control method for DC servo motor is proposed. In the scheme, the rotational speed is estimated by the measurement values of the armature voltage and current, instead of measurement by sensor. Optimal control theory is applied to design of the controller in construction of real system. This paper also report on the results of experiments to prove the validity of the proposed method.

  • When a servo position controller of a robot or a driving units is composed of a PID controller, servomechanism which is modelled is composed of current, velocity and position control loops. After this model is simulated, the technique operating gain of each controller is suggested. The model consists of current, velocity and position controllers from the inside to the outside gradually. Also, to combine velocity and position controllers with 2 order system, simulation is performed after current controllers are composed, which are able for current loop to work ideally. If a current controller is treated with constant, it is possible for velocity and position controller to consist of controller into 2 order system. The technique is verified by applying T-company servo motor which is much more applied to current, velocity and position controller robots.

  • Because of the convenience of variable speed control and proportion of input current and torque, DC servo motor has been used as an actuator. With increasing development speed of robot and factory automation machinery, the actuator of excellent control characteristics is demanded. In this paper, The control characteristics of DC servo motor is tested by Fuzzy control with microprocessor and DC servo motor controller is designed for drive of the cartesian coordinate type robot. The control characteristics experimentation is realized to one axis position, two axes coordinate and circular motion control by experimental equipments.

Unknown Parameter Identifier Design of Discrete-Time DC Servo Motor Using Artificial Neural Networks

  • This paper introduces a high-performance speed control system based on artificial neural networks(ANN) to estimate unknown parameters of a DC servo motor. The goal of this research is to keep the rotor speed of the DC servo motor to follow an arbitrary selected trajectory. In detail, the aim is to obtain accurate trajectory control of the speed, specially when the motor and load parameters are unknown. By using an artificial neural network, we can acquire unknown nonlinear dynamics of the motor and the load. A trained neural network identifier combined with a reference model can be used to achieve the trajectory control. The performance of the identification and the control algorithm are evaluated through the simulation and experiment of nonlinear dynamics of the motor and the load using a typical DC servo motor model.

  • This paper describes the controller for the improving speed control the AC servo motor. The microprocessor provides an output to the difference in command. The servo system improves the characteristics of speed control. When the motor is running at the same speed as set by the reference signal, the speed encoder also provides a signal the same frequency. Thus, the microprocessor controlled digital techniques enable to realize the flexible performance and control which was possible with time constant. We can know that PI control using neural networks by 80196 can control efficiently speed of AC Servo motor. Finally experimental results prove excellent performance of this control system. The system can be adaptable to CNC machine.

  • The research focuses on controlling a gap to measure the surface defect in semi-conductor fabrication device. The measurement is available accompanying a near field image gap control. In this article, a pneumatic servo system is adopted for the near field gap control. The advantage of the pneumatic servo system is on the preventing the possibility of contacting the device to the wapper surface, fence arising fatal damage. Furthermore, the air from the pneumatic system blows the some particle on the wapper during controlling. The target gap is less than 20 $\mu$m and the gap should keep same amount while the device moves around the surface. The experiment by the pneumatic servo control system is done by employing a simple PID control, and the tracking performance is remarkably verified.
