구조물 및 기기의 내진성능 평가를 위한 고주파수 지진에 의한 원자력발전소의 지진응답 증폭계수 (Seismic Response Amplification Factors of Nuclear Power Plants for Seismic Performance Evaluation of Structures and Equipment due to High-frequency Earthquakes)

  • Analysis of the 2016 Gyeongju earthquake and the 2017 Pohang earthquake showed the characteristics of a typical high-frequency earthquake with many high-frequency components, short time strong motion duration, and large peak ground acceleration relative to the magnitude of the earthquake. Domestic nuclear power plants were designed and evaluated based on NRC's Regulatory Guide 1.60 design response spectrum, which had a great deal of energy in the low-frequency range. Therefore, nuclear power plants should carry out seismic verification and seismic performance evaluation of systems, structures, and components by reflecting the domestic characteristics of earthquakes. In this study, high-frequency amplification factors that can be used for seismic verification and seismic performance evaluation of nuclear power plant systems, structures, and equipment were analyzed. In order to analyze the high-frequency amplification factor, five sets of seismic time history were generated, which were matched with the uniform hazard response spectrum to reflect the characteristics of domestic earthquake motion. The nuclear power plant was subjected to seismic analysis for the construction of the Korean standard nuclear power plant, OPR1000, which is a reactor building, an auxiliary building assembly, a component cooling water heat exchanger building, and an essential service water building. Based on the results of the seismic analysis, a high-frequency amplification factor was derived upon the calculation of the floor response spectrum of the important locations of nuclear power plants. The high-frequency amplification factor can be effectively used for the seismic verification and seismic performance evaluation of electric equipment which are sensitive to high-frequency earthquakes.

유과의 품질규격 유지를 위한 외형 정보 측정 시스템 설계 및 적용 연구 (System Design and Application of External Feature Extraction for Quality Maintenance of Yukwa)

  • Korean oil and honey Yukwa has been paid attention as formal cake for traditional national seasons' holiday and religious service. Quality of Yukwa, however, has been maintained arbitrarily by each Yukwa manufacturer. Since even same Yukwa had severe differences in size, weight, and pattern, it has given the negative effect to the consumer. Yukwa industries need to setup the quantitative quality specifications instead of qualitative ones to maintain the uniformity of Yukwa quality. Efficient and economical inspection and process control system should be developed. In developing quality standards of Yukwa, features which can measure quality quantitatively in real time should be properly chosen. Existing quality features such as acidity, oxidization, hardness, viscosity, and texture were measured by the chemical or physical base destructive methods. Many research and developments have been performed in investigating and analyzing chemical transition states of those quality features as environment or storage condition changes. Most methods, however, require either off-line or complex treatment or time consuming process of analysis in evaluating quality features. Consumer, however, selects products mostly based on the external features such as shape, size, and color. Therefore, critical visual quality features should be chosen and the efficient real time measurement system must be developed. In this paper, computer image acquisition and processing system were developed and software modules were developed to extract the quantitative data of those features in real-time. Computer image processing system will promote in maintaining uniform quality of Yukwa and establishing quality standards of Yukwa.

The effect of hydropriming and explants on shoot initiation and tetraploids in small watermelons

  • Hydropriming had positive effects on the time for germination to reach 50%, the germination index, the time to final germination percentage, and the number of uniform seedlings with enlarged cotyledons in in vitro germination of small watermelon. In addition, the highest shoot initiation was obtained from hydroprimed cotyledonary nodes ($95{\pm}6%$), followed by non-primed cotyledonary nodes ($78{\pm}6%$), hydroprimed cotyledons ($72{\pm}4%$), and non-primed cotyledons ($48{\pm}4%$). Meanwhile, no shoots were initiated from hypocotyls. The total number of shoots that initiated from cotyledonary nodes and cotyledon explants was insignificant, indicating that both cotyledons and cotyledonary node were good sources for the in vitro culture. Choosing explant sources that favor tetraploidy should be the key for producing higher polyploidy plants; a total of 10.5% of tetraploid regenerants were entirely identified from cotyledon explants. Cotyledons with highly differentiated cells might show higher variations than cotyledonary nodes with more preexisting meristematic cells. Cells of cotyledon tissue might undergo changes in ploidy level during differentiation of the culture, or it might be that some of the variations were already present in the tissues of the donor plant. Morphological changes in fruit length of tetraploid regenerants are genotype-dependent.

대도시와 농어촌에서 치과의료기관 의료수익 분포의 지역 간 차이 : 경쟁 지표에 대한 실증적 검증 (Regional difference between the distributions of dental revenues in metropolitan areas and rural areas: Empirical validation of the competition index)

  • The increase rate of dentists' competition is very fast at metropolitan areas in South Korea. We compare metropolitan and rural parameters to investigate the relation between competition and revenue variation. The competition and revenue variables of 73 metropolitan and 75 rural areas were calculated from 2010 Census of Service Industry microdata which include non-insurance revenues of dental clinics. Independent sample t-test results showed that the level of competition among dental clinics in metropolitan areas is higher. The lowest and the low ranked revenues are higher in rural areas. The highest and the average revenues are higher in metropolitan areas. But, 25 percentile and median revenues has no significant difference between two areas. Simple log linear regression results showed that the number of clinics could explain the distribution of revenues in both areas better than the density of active dentists and Herfindahl-Hirschman index. In the areas with many clinics have high maximum and average revenues and low minimum revenues. The increasing rate of maximum revenues is higher in metropolitan areas though the decreasing rate of minimum revenues is higher in rural areas. Metropolitan areas have higher Gini coefficients than rural areas, but the increasing rate of Gini coefficients is lower than rural areas. Findings from this study are useful reference when the dentists select the opening areas. One is that the median revenues between metropolitan and rural areas have no significant difference. The other is that the rural areas ensure the more stable and uniform revenues. The results would help to relieve the consumptive competition among dentists and to achieve the distributional efficiency of dental human resources.

  • The cultural assets of the palaces royal tombs remains institution expanded the convenient facilities for the disabled that can help the disabled to watch, to propel the convenient facility expanding business according to the condition of each facility. However, there has been limitations for the disabled facility users in viewing the cultural assets, as the facilities were not installed or were not installed properly. Due to the uniform installation of the convenient facilities that did not consider the features of the cultural assets, the conservation value of the cultural assets have been depreciated and the convenient use standards of the facility users such as the disabled were simultaneously unsatisfactory. Thus, this study maintains the pre-existing value of the palaces royal tombs remains institution that is the Korean indigenous traditional heritage, and uses a part of the improvement model development study on the palaces royal tombs remains institution of the disabled convenience enhancement to understand the current convenient facility installation and relevant services to find the restricted factors in using the facilities and the main problems. The problems were categorized into 13 types of questions, using the repeated problems occurred within the investigated facilities to look at the actual condition of the facilities, which showed that the facilities were in adequate in the aspects of convenient facility installation and relevant service.

텍스트마이닝 기반의 재난현장 응급의료시설 대상지선정 프로세스 연구 (A Study on the Site Selection Process of Field Emergency Medical Facilities Based on Text Mining)

  • Purpose: In the case of mass disaster, the establishment of temporary medical facilities for the first aid and treatment is required for the stable accommodation of patients caused by the disaster. However, the criteria for decision making related to the deployment of field emergency medical facilities are not specified. So, The purpose of this study is to draw considerable factors needed for the deployment of field emergency medical facilities and to make proposal for site selection process of field emergency medical facilities on the basis of the factor. Methods: This study performs text mining of disaster-related laws, guidelines and documents to derive key factors affecting site selection, also proposes a decision making process and conducts virtual deployment to validate the process. Results: The key factors for the site selection derived as the size of the damage, the size of the DMAT inputs, the location of available place, and distance to the disaster base hospital. As a result of virtual deployment following proposed decision making process, It is confirmed that the site of field emergency medical facilities is changed depending on the type of disaster, even if the scope of the disaster damage was the same. Implications: The deployment of field emergency medical facilities requires a separate criteria for each type of disaster, not uniform, as a future research a quantitative approach of the criteria needs to be performed.

  • 그리드 컴퓨팅과 같은 분산 시스템은 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 구성 요소들이 다양하고 복잡하며 분산 배치되어 있어 전체적인 관리가 어렵다. 그리드나 유비쿼터스처럼 환경적인 요소가 다양하며 유동적으로 변경될 가능성이 많은 시스템은 실시간으로 자원에 대한 정보를 모니터링하고 그에 따라 반응할 수 있는 메커니즘을 제공해야 한다. 모니터링 어플리케이션의 개발시 시스템 자원의 다양성은 정보를 수집하는 에이전트의 개발에 대한 비용 부담을 증가시킨다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 시스템 환경에서 추가적인 에이전트 개발의 부담을 최소화시키며 환경적인 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있고 통신 프로토콜과 사용자 질의간의 의존성을 없애주는 계층형 구조를 기반으로 구현된 모니터링 시스템을 제시한다. 본 논문의 계층형 구조는 통신, 질의 언어, 모니터링 에이전트의 분리를 통해 분산 환경에서 모니터링 시스템의 구성 및 변경을 용이하게 한다.

고분자 분쇄 공정을 이용한 대추 소재 가식성 필름 개발 (Zizyphus jujube-based Edible Film Development by the Depolymerization Processes)

  • 본 연구에서는 대추를 필름 형태의 식품 소재로 개발하였다. 대추 필름 제작에 고분자 분쇄 방법으로 사용된 HPH는 대추 필름의 인장 강도와 수분 투과도를 향상시켰다. 기존에 개발된 많은 다른 생고분자 필름보다 높은 인장 강도와 낮은 수분 투과도는 열접합강도와 함께 식품에 있어 HPH 대추 필름의 상업적 적용 가능성을 보여주었다. 대추 필름은 대추 고유의 형태와 크기에 제한 없이 여러 식품에 코팅 또는 롤 형태로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

의료전달체계 정립을 위한 두 가지 정책 제안과 보건의료정책 거버넌스에 관한 연구 (Enhancement of Korea medical delivery system : Two policy proposals and healthcare policy making governance)

  • 의료법에서는 의원은 외래환자를, 상급종합병원은 중증의 입원환자를 전문적으로 치료하는 의료기관으로 규정하고 있다. 그러나 일차의료를 제공하는 의원의 외래환자수는 위축되는 반면 상급종합병원의 외래진료비 비중은 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 우리나라 의료전달체계를 정상화하기 위한 보다 근원적인 방안으로 두 가지 정책안을 제시하고 이 정책을 정착시키고 성공시키기 위한 보건의료정책 거버넌스에 관한 제안을 담고 있다. 상급종합병원의 중증 환자 진료기능을 강화하기 위하여 현행 종별가산율을 외래와 입원 종별가산율로 분리하고 외래진료비 목표관리제 도입이라는 두 가지 방안을 제시하였다. 그리고 이들 정책안을 큰 부작용없이 성공시키기 위한 보건의료 정책 거버넌스를 제안하였다. 보건의료 정책 거버넌스는 의료공급자, 환자의 참여와 동기부여가 전제되어야 하며 장기적인 관점에서는 향후 의료 질을 반영할 수 있도록 설계되어야 한다.

조선시대무관(朝鮮時代武官)의 철릭[帖裏] 연구 (A Study on Cheollik, the Military Officials' Clothes, in the Joseon Dynasty)

  • Even though Joseon Dynasty strictly identified between military and civil officials, the dress and its ornament have been studied only based on embroidery emblems that are correctly identified between military and civil officials. Thus, this study intends to research the features of the only military officials uniform, Cheollik, different from the civil officials's identifying them with other features shown from the records, unearthed relics, stone statue, Joseon-tongsinsa-haengnyeoldo(Illustration of Joseon Delegation to Japan), etc., and its results are as follows: First, for wearing examples of the military officials, from the facts that they had worn mainly ordinary clothes, etc. on announcement of military service examination. There was no difference between military and civil officials's clothes by Daejeonhusokrok and the other documents, and there was an assertion that the form of the military and civil officials's clothes should be different by the document, Hongjejeonseo, in the latter term of the Joseon Dynasty. It is presumed that length, width and shape of sleeves might have been different. Second, unearthed Cheollik of the military officials are mostly from the 16th~17th centuries and most of them have removable sleeves according to statistics. The skirt had an opening and one or two slits. Various textiles were used. Third, military official statues of high governor wear small caps and helmets. They wear Cheollik with the collars same as the collar of Bangryeong and Jikryeong, which is also called Dopji Cheollik. It would be considered as they wear the Bangryeong on top of the Cheollik. Fourth, militarly officials described on the Joseon-tongsinsa-haengnyeoldo(Illustration of Joseon Delegation to Japan) wear Cheollik, Rip, Donggae, Okro, Hongsadae, Hwando, Deungchae.
