The purpose of this study was to investigate satisfaction and preference for current military meal service and food behaviors and food habits of some military personnel in Chunchen and Wonju of the Kwangwon area. The results are as follows. In the anthropometric survey, average height of the subjects was 175.03 $\pm$ 5.30 cm, average weight was 69.15 $\pm$ 7.74 kg. As a result of surveying satisfaction in the current food service, an item high in satisfaction was adequacy of serving hours, whereas an item of low satisfaction was diversity of menu. The item of food service improvement needs of the subjects were in order more variety of menu, nutrition, preference, sanitation, cooking method. As a result of surveying eating behavior of the subjects, most items were high medium response. They preferred soju and relish and also they liked the bokkum cooking method. As a result of surveying food habits of the subjects, items of good habits were regularity of meals, marginal meals, diversity of food intake, dairy and dairy products, avoiding too exciting meals and natural food diet; whereas, items of bad habits were fast food intake, alcohol, smoking, carbonated and caffeine beverages, skipping breakfast. snacks, fatty food intake, yellow or green vegetable intake and fruit and seaweed intake. Following is the result of a survey on the preference of meals by cooking method serving the current military meal service. They liked one-dish meals such as Bokkeumbap, Bibimbap, Tteokguk, whereas, they disliked curryrice, Jajangbap. In case of soup, they liked soup made from meat better than vegetable soup or soup made with fish. Also they liked pot stem better than soup. Generally they liked meals containing meat in most cooking methods. These results suggest that continuous and practical nutrition education to change food habits in military life are necessary to Prevent chronic disease with increasing age.
The purpose of this study is to forecast patient satisfaction and service value through the staged regression analysis of the relation between each factor and its satisfaction and service value, following the measurement of the quality of dental care service that patients recognize. And a self-administered survey was used for this study. The subjects of this survey were 394 outpatients of dental clinics located in K city in the period from Dec. 5, 2004 to Feb. 19, 2005, the questionnaire was composed of a total of 31 questions to measure the quality of overall dental care service(22 questions), the patient satisfaction(6 questions) and the service value(3 questions). The 7 points Likert scale ranging from "very poor"(1-point) to "very high"(7-point) was used for these questions The results of study could be summarized as follows: 1. The most useful index to predict patient satisfaction turned out to be "internal environment", followed by "treatment process and waiting time", "dentist", "external environment", and "dental hygienist". 2. The service value had a significant effect on the "internal environment", "dentist", "treatment process and waiting time". 3. The most useful index to predict the service value turned out to be "treatment process and waiting time", followed by "internal environment" and "dentist". Today, the quality of dental care service is becoming a prime concern since it is directly connected to a matter of survival of medical service organizations. Dental clinics desperately need patient-oriented marketing strategies in order to actively cope with changing medical environment. They also need to thoroughly examine possible measures to maximize the service value by establishing a variety of service strategies which can promote service quality that patients recognize.
The purpose of this study is to measure the satisfaction factors of user experience of 'Unlimited subscription service' among subscription services and analyze them based on economic and cultural perspectives. By recruiting the '20-'30s who had experienced using service, they attended a survey which was based on the reconstructed honeycomb model of Peter Morville. As a result of the survey, in terms of economic perspective, cost of service, and the ease of subscription inflow were the main satisfaction factors. From a cultural perspective, the familiarity with service and belief and experience of sharing content with people around them were the main satisfaction factors. Therefore, it can be inferred that the satisfaction of the user experience of the subscription service should be firstly satisfied with economic satisfaction, which leads to cultural satisfaction. This study is expected to be used as research data on user experience and satisfaction factors of unlimited subscription service.
The purpose of this study verified the relationship between parents' perception of program value, service quality, and service satisfaction who participate in special sports activities. For this a survey was conducted with parents participating in the program at welfare facilities and private institutions in the metropolitan area. The survey was directly visited by the researcher, and 236 copies of data were collected and used for analysis. For the collected data, the causal relationship was verified through descriptive statistics, factor analysis and reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the following conclusions were obtained. First, it showed a significant influence in tangibility, reliability, empathy, and guarantee in the relationship between program value perception and service quality. Second, in the relationship between program value perception and service satisfaction, significant influence was shown on user satisfaction and performance satisfaction. Third, in the relationship between service quality and service satisfaction, it showed a significant influence on user satisfaction and performance satisfaction.
Objectives : We investigate to identify the satisfaction degree of patients by traffic accident(TA) for improving the quality of services and fortifying the competitiveness of Korean medical hospital on TA patients. Methods : The survey used by preceding articles was accepted for assessment of the satisfaction degree of patients in this study. All data were coded by SPSS v18.0 and analyzed by descriptive maneuver, ${\chi}^2$-test, T-test and correlation. Results : According to the survey, 84% of patients included this study were hospitalized in the Korean medical hospital within 2 weeks from TA and 92.3% were satisfied with the current medical service. The answer that Korean medicine is superior to western medicine for TA treatment was the main reason for selecting Korean medical hospital. 35.1% of patients satisfied Chuna treatment and 42.9% unsatisfied herbal medicine. There were no differences in the satisfaction degree with sex, age, education and occupation. The satisfaction degree of the current Korean medical service was significantly correlated with doctor's service, use the procedure and reuse intention. Conclusions : It is necessary to develop and to apply the customer satisfaction program for the Korean medicine hospital on TA patients.
Purpose: This study is on the priority for improving students satisfaction in university educational service. It explores the dimension of service quality and analyzes the relationship among quality elements, service satisfaction, and loyalty. Methods: This paper performs empirical studies by questionnaire survey. The Timko model is used for finding the degree of possible improvement of quality elements, and structural equation and regression models are used to analyze the effect of them on service satisfaction and loyalty. Also, explanatory factor analysis is used to investigate the quality determinants. Results: The quality dimension is composed of curriculum, employment support, interaction with outsiders, start-up support, learning support, counselling, and administration service. Curriculum, learning support, and administration service are positively correlated with service satisfaction, and service satisfaction has a positive effect on loyalty. Counselling service is an attractive element, and curriculum, start-up support, and learning support are indifferent elements. Conclusion: Comprehensive analysis shows that curriculum, academic advisor, and administration service have high priorities for improving educational service satisfaction.
This study was intended to investigate and analyze the satisfaction of military meals service which was recognized by air force soldiers who were familiar to the society's meals service, and to make suggestions for the analysis results. For the study, the questionnaire survey was conducted for 460 air force soldiers who performed military duties in Chungcheong area for 23 days from June 3, 2003 to June 26, 2003. Total 460 copies of questionnaire were distributed. But, among them, 431 questionnaires except 29 copies which included dishonest and untrustful answers were analyzed for the study. In terms of the soldiers' rank in demographical characteristics, 43.2% (186 respondents) of total respondents were the airman first class, and 29.7% (128 soldiers) of total respondents were the airman second class. In terms of an education level, 66.1% (285 respondents) of total respondents had the undergraduate school or higher education level. Also, in terms of the growth area, 56.8% (245 respondents) of total respondents came from large cities. Among 20 items about the military meals service, in the question of cooking soldier's kindness degree, respondents answered that they were satisfied with the cooking solders' kindness at a medial level. The survey showed the average 2.95 in this item. The satisfaction level of actions taken at the lack of foods, was 2.94 on the average. Respondents answered that the soldiers' satisfaction on the actions taken at loss of foods was in the medial level. The average was 2.94 and respondents answered that this satisfaction was in the average level. In the item of daily menu placement, the average was 3.19. respondents showed the little higher satisfaction than the average. As the result of investigating whether the castor's seasoning materials were frequently replaced, there was the satisfaction of average level with 3.00 on the average. The satisfaction level of hot foods' temperature was 3.52 on the average. Respondents answered that they were relatively satisfied with the hot foods' temperature preservation. Also, the survey indicated that the nutritional satisfaction had the most influence.
This study aims to investigate the determinants of service quality and the relationships of service quality, customer satisfaction, word of mouth and subsequent purchase intention of medical service. SERVQUAL, an instrument developed by the marketing area, is offered as a possible measure of medical service quality. SERVQUAL measures service dimension of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The questionnaire method is used in this study. A survey is conducted on patients who are randomly selected. The questionnaire are sent to 300 patients and 208 are available. The objectives of this study were: 1) to find out the influence of determinants of service quality on medical service. 2) to investigate the relationship of medical service quality and customer satisfaction. 3) to analyze the relationship of customer satisfaction and favorable word of mouth, ubsequent purchase intention 4) to find out the gap perceived service quality between secondary and tertiary hospital. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1) Reliability, responsiveness and assurance have a positive impact on the medical service quality. 2) Medical service quality has a positive impact on the customer satisfaction. 3) Customer satisfaction has a positive impact on the favorable word of mouth and subsequent purchase intention. 4) There is no gap between secondary and tertiary hospital of perceived service quality.
Purpose: This study aimed to prove that the effect of waiting environment on perceived waiting time and service satisfaction of airline service and airport service procedure. Methods: Survey was conducted by questionnaires that were distributed to international airlines passengers. Survey data were collected 276 copies from 300 copies then analyzed using factor analysis and multi-regression analysis. The measurements of airline service procedure were divided by airlines service and airport service. Airline service segregated as before boarding and after boarding then airport service can be separated before boarding and after deplane by service procedure. Results: According to result, hypotheses were partially accepted. Human environment and Physical environment of airport service before boarding and after deplane were accepted. However perceived waiting time had effect on service satisfaction both airline and airport services. Thus some of variables are correlated among waiting environment. Acceptability as moderating variable has differences on high acceptable group and low acceptable group. Though waiting and delay were caused by controllable or uncontrollable reasons, there are certain negative feeling on waiting and delay on physical environment of airline service. Especially controllable delay and waiting are more negative than uncontrollable reasons. Conclusion: Some suggestions that given from researcher should be implemented to the airline industry to reduce perceived waiting time specially airport service procedure academically and practically.
The CRM is the process of integrated customer management to increase the profitability of firm as a maximizing the consumer's value and supplying the high quality product or service. The Post Information Service Headquarter was recognizing the importance of CRM and constructed the customer relationship management system that based on CRM, steadily has made an endeavor for operating to improve the job operation such as posting, banking and insurance. This research analysed the impact of service quality on the customer satisfaction in the Korea Post Office. First of all, we review the existing literature on measurement of service quality and management. As a result of this review and survey of the employer in post office, nineteen factors emerged as important to the service management of The Korea Post Office; Postal Services, Banking Services, Insurance Services. The regression analysis was utilized for analyzing the influence of service quality factors upon the customer satisfaction. Results show that service quality factors have a statistically significant impact on the customer satisfaction of the Korea Post Office.
