The Semantic Web stands out in the next generation web, recently. In the Semantic Web, any information resources is defined by semantics and semantic links is given among these. It is different from existing web service environment. RDF (Resource Description Framework) is the data model to describe metadata of web resource and is to support for semantic links. And it is much the same as WSDL (Web Serice Description Language). In theis paper, we propose the RDF design method to improve the search performance by integrating RDF data unit with WSDL. We confirm the performance and efficiency of search will be improved by using the proposed method.

There are two standards currently compete for the dominance of IP telephony architecture. Those are H.323 protocol suit by International Telecommunication Union Sector T(ITU-T) and Session Initiation Protocol/Session Description Protocol(SIP/SDP) by International Engineering Task Force(IETF). And then this paper has designed SIP-based call screening service in home gateway working protocol, verified them.

In spite of recent increase in the use of avatar in Web and Virtual Reality, there has not been a service that allows users to control directly the avatar behaviors. In addition, the conventional behavior control languages required a lot of complicated information for controlling the avatar motions. Moreover, in order to apply written languages to a different task domain, it was necessary to modify or rewrite the languages. In this paper, we define Task-Level Behavior Description Language and Motion Representation Language for more simple control of the avatar behavior. The first thing allows describing the avatar behaviors in each task domain, and The second thing enables writing detailed data for motion control. And in this paper, we developed an interpreter which can automatically change the Behavior Description Language to the Motion Representation Language. So this system allow users control the avatar behavior simply with only use the Behavior Description Language. The system was applied to shopping mall and the Task-level Behavior Description Language was compared with conventional languages to see how it was more effective in behavior description.

But the differences from heterogeneous mobile devices force to develop contents which is dependent on a mobile. To solve this problem, adaptation course that reorganize contents by the device capability is needed. In this course, device description is described using device description language but there are some problems that is absence of device description repository and the way to get device description data. In this paper, I suggest device description acquisition module and define the interfaces to access device description repository that I designed and implemented.

The origin and description of the Herba Plantaginis was contemporarily analyzed (family names, scientific names, target regions, preparation, etc.) by comparison to enormous literature in addition to the external features written in the existing books on traditional Korean medicine. Also, galenical description were analyzed in connection with external morphology, internal morphology, microscopy and five senses. The official documents and ancient documents of other countries were reviewed. The technical books on herbage, published in the country and other countries, were compared with each other. Also, on-the-spot surveys were made to learn specialists' know-how. The description of the collected drugstuffs were analyzed in connection with external morphology (size, color, etc.), internal morphology and microscopy. The results of this study can be applied to the publicity and education of galenical test agencies; the effective management of foods and drugs; the improvement of public medical service; the publicity of galenical safety.

T-DMB hybrid data service provides advanced data services while maintaining backward compatibility with legacy T-DMB receivers by using hybrid BIFS technology enabling distributed delivery of scene description information and object description information. This paper presents the hybrid service authoring framework implementing hybrid BIFS technology for creating contents for distributed delivery, and the results of experiments by using it. Hybrid service authoring framework is comprised of service creation system, service management system, and contents offering system. It enables the creation of combined hybrid data service and the splitting of the contents into two parts for ecah delivery network, data for broadcasting network and the data for mobile network. It also enables the managements of the contents. The feasibility of advanced data services while maintaining backward compatibility with the legacy T-DMB receiver has been proved by the contents created by using the hybrid authoring framework presented in this paper.

The Goals of Intelligent Network(IN) provide the methods that create, test and apply the various hinds of services to satisfy the user's need. In this environments, we can create new IN service by description of GSL(Global Service Logic) using that SCE(Service Creation Environment). In the ITU-T CS-2, the various SIBs(Service Independent Building-blocks) are defined to develop the services. There are limitations to develop the various services using the SIBs defined in recommendation. So, in this paper, we define the new SIBs and implement the SCE. The new SIBs are defined in this paper are Connect SIB and BCSM Event SIB. The Connect Call SIB provides the connectivity between SLPI(Service Logic processing Program Instance) and call after connecting the calling party to called party. The BCSMEvent SIB provides the functions that request SSF to report the call processing event and receive it. In this paper, we design and implement the SCE that supports the SIBs defined by recommendation and this paper, provides GUI environment to specify GSI, and generates the code used by SCP.

It has been proved that information and communication technology (ICT) solutions for personalized health (PHealth) and ambient assisted living (AAL) can support people in their daily life activities. Several solutions have been demonstrated to empower different levels of services through seamless data acquisition and specific users' interaction modalities. Usually services usability and accessibility are handled in the design process and are validated with small users' groups. Moreover, while service design and systems development have been extensively described in literature, service deployment methodologies are not properly addressed and documented. Proper reference guidelines are also missing. The most common methodologies like unified process (UP) or ICONX can cover only the design and the development of PHealth services without a clear description on the following phases such as deployment, service provision and maintenance. These phases present several risks to be taken into account right from the beginning of the implementation of PHealth or AAL services. This paper focuses on the description of a structured methodology to deploy PHealth services and how this process can be supported by integrated software routines and adapting the UP framework in particular the "Transition phase."

The purpose of this paper is to examine the narrative-building method and the post-historical descriptive aspects of the movie Paradise in Service, which deals with the modern history of Taiwan. Although Paradise in Service tells the history of a certain time period, it focuses on the anguish and agony felt by people who lived during that age rather than on the meaning of historical events or interpretation of the past in terms of official historical discourse. That is, as it avoids looking at the present by composing a narrative in the descriptive historical context and from bearing weight from the viewpoint of realism, it gains the possibility of establishing a new field of discourse through a post-historical discussion using descriptive historical texts. However, the movie tries to create fantasy through a special type of licensed prostitution as a means of post-historical description. In other words, when this movie tries to reproduce the microscopic history of common people in trouble because of a historical tragedy, it considers only men and excludes "weak" women. Thus, although Paradise in Service has meaning in that it gives an example of how movies can disrupt official historical discourse and group memory and rewrite history by focusing on individuals, it is limited by its male-centrism.
