To increase export, a continuous making profits is the most important to companies and TSO(Trade Support Organization) needs to provide a trade support services to the exporting firms. In this context, this study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the correlation between company performance and service quality, utilization and customer satisfaction of TSO. Some implications from the results of this study are suggested. First, TSO needs to boost the utilization of its services by enhancing systemizing, reliability and empathy of its service qualities. And then, TSO needs to encourage companies to focus on export-oriented business mind, since these companies have tendency to show a better practical application and high degree of performance as well. Third, TSO needs to develop some exceptional services for the companies with the low weight of export in turnover since those groups tend to have higher customer satisfaction. • The proportion and role of public sector in health care industry is very small in Korea. Asymmetric distribution of health care resources is one of the major health care concerns. This issue is so important that it raises a question of accessibility, availability, continuity of care and equity of rural area people's health care utilization. To solve these problems and to satisfy the basic demand of oriental medical service in rural areas, the oriental public health doctors were placed in rural health centers since 1998. The main objectives of this study are twofold: to measure the cognition and attitude of health center directors on the strategies for utilizing oriental public health doctors and to provide basic data for improving the health manpower management program. Data have been collected by way of the self-administrative questionnaires. Developing the questionnaire, the literature review on the previous studies and delphi method were carried out. The response rate was 38.7%. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1. community people respond positively on the oriental medical service activity in health center. 2. In regard to workloads of oriental public health doctor, 'appropriate' was 81.1% and 'burdensome' was 18.2%, respectively. 3. The 94.0% of respondents thought that the oriental medical service will be continued. 4. To activate oriental medical service in health center, the sufficient budget and provision of aid workers is a necessity. 5. The 75.5% of health center directors respond positively on the allocation of oriental public health doctor to health sub-centers. 6. Health center directors agreed that oriental public health doctor should perform the clinical service as well as prevention and health promotion activity. These results recommend that oriental medical service in health center should be continued gradually, and oriental public health doctors working at health center perform their work efficiently. Undoubtedly, their activity should be more focused on health promotion and disease prevention than daily patient care. For achieving this objective, more support of governmental policy is essential for utilizing oriental public health doctor and better health of the rural area community people.

  • Electronic commerce markets have been increasing rapidly, which has resulted in parallel growth in the door-to-door delivery service industry. The door-to-door delivery service industry is projected to be more competitive, due to the large amount of companies that are already established and the fact that several leading multinational logistics companies are rushing into the domestic market. This is a critical period for the companies which are attempting to obtain a competitive advantage. Previous research on door-to-door delivery services has been undertaken, in relation to strategic exploration, political proposals, and user satisfaction. However, there is a lack of practical studies focused on the information systems of door-to-door service companies and its decisive roles have been undertaken. This study aims to investigate, compare, and analyze the information systems of door-to-door delivery service companies. Also, the study proposes developmental direction of how the information systems should be improved. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, first, we examined previous research on door-to-door delivery services and their information systems. Second, we investigated and analyzed the information systems of four leading domestic companies by conducting interviews. Third, we compared and identified factors of the information systems that could be improved. Finally, we proposed its developmental direction. As a result of the study, the information systems of door-to-door delivery service companies required to provide classified services using diverse tools and develop the optimized routing model to reduce logistics costs.

  • In the Republic of Korea, punishment of conscientious objectors is rising as a social issue once again. Large number of news articles on the punishment of conscientious objectors are updated on portal sites several times a day. The background for this phenomena is based on the disagreement between the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court. The Constitutional Court has ruled that it is constitutional for the government to punish conscientious objectors who denied their service for religious belief according to the Clause 1 of the Article 88 of the Military Service Law. However, district courts have taken different stance in the lower instance. 6 rulings in 2015, 7 rulings in 2016, and 16 rulings in the first half of 2017 has declared the conscientious objectors as not guilty. At the same time, the issue is becoming more controversial as the Jeju District Court has made two different rulings on the punishment of conscientious objectors who denied their military service for religious belief. Therefore, the study aims to find out whether conscientious objection can be included as a reasonable cause under the Clause 1 of the Article 88 of the Military Service Law, and take thorough review on the interpretation and the application of Article 18 of the Human Rights Covenant by examining the rulings at the Supreme Court, Constitutional Court, and District Courts.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate patients' characteristics and actual conditions of home-based services offered by a free-standing hospice center. Methods: A retrospective review was performed with the medical records of 75 patients who received home-based hospice care from a free-standing hospice center from January 2014 through December 2014. Results: Most patients (54.7%) were enrolled via self-directed referral. The reason for the service termination was death at home 25.3%, admission to a hospice ward 50.7%, hospitalization 22.6% and patients' refusal 2.7%. Seventy three patients had cancer, and two patients had ALS. Among all, 58.7% were in a dying phase, and 34.7% were almost completely bedfast at the time of their enrollment in this study. When they enrolled, the patients' physical symptoms were characterized as pain (89.4%), sleep disturbance (71.2%), urinary difficulties (35.8%) and defecation difficulties (47.8%). Among all, 77.4% terminated the home visit service within one month. The mean frequency of the home visits was 3.25 (${\pm}3.98$), and less than five in 82.7% of patients. The mean frequency of the phone service was 3.40 (${\pm}3.12$). The frequency of doctor's home visits was $1.21{\pm}0.79$ on average, and the figure increased when patients' conditions turned unstable. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop a home-based hospice care model with consideration of patients' characteristics and the actual service conditions delivered by free-standing hospice facilities.

  • Airline business operates in the 21st century within fast changing market environment and fierce competition. Management of airline companies has faced the need for vast adaptation to new trends in the growth of world economy that are cardinal changes in marketing environment due to quick development of Internet and IT, transport price competition and, as a consequence, low profit margin, diversified customer wants and needs, lack of investment needed for new aircraft equipped with the latest high tech innovations, unpredictable oil price changes, and exchange rate fluctuations. This study is aimed to evaluate the quality performance of cabin service, to analyse, further, the issues that appeared to be the most significant among customers' answers to questionnaire, to explore the relationships between these issues and customer satisfaction, to highlight the essential questions to address, and to provide some practical suggestions. The five dimensions (such as tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) were adopted to examine the relationship between the service quality and customer satisfaction of Mongolian and non-Mongolian passengers travelling by the MIAT. According to findings of analysis made with use of the SERVPERF model, it can be concluded that Mongolian travellers' satisfaction was effected by 'Tangible' and 'Responsiveness' dimensions of service quality, whereas the 'Empathy' dimension has more impact on the satisfaction of non-Mongolian.

  • As of June 2008, the government's expansion policy for the long-term care service infrastructure has achieved an outstanding 96.4% occupancy rate of facilities across the country. Despite such achievement, practical issues including the physical lack of facilities, disproportional regional spread and decline in government accountability have raised concerns about the effectiveness of the policy's implementation. This study was aimed at defining the implementation procedure of expansion policy for long-term care service infrastructure, analyzing variables that affect it, examining the problems revealed in implementation procedure, and suggesting improved plan on that policy. Research methods were to review literatures on infrastructure expansion policy, to conduct case studies on K province, C city and 4(2 corporations and 2 privately owned) facilities in C city for studying practical implementation procedure on a local government level, and to use Alexander(1985)'s framework for analyzing variables of policy implementation. As a result of this study, policy variables including the clarity and adequacy of policy goal, nature of service providers, task and responsibility between government authorities, and implementation variables such as propensity toward budget allocation, financial restraint, swift utilization of budgets and the streamlining of involved procedures and inter-agency relations stood out as the main factors affecting policy implementation. In adddition, this study suggested several improvement measures such as accounting facilities need based on real local demand and supporting to private participation and so on.
