In this paper, we study an opportunistic scheduling scheme for the OFDMA system with streaming services. The service is modeled by using the appropriate utility function. We formulate a stochastic optimization problem that aims at maximizing network utility while satisfying the QoS requirement of each user. The problem is solved by using the dual approach and the stochastic sub-gradient algorithm.

In this paper, a new real-time neural network connection admission controller is proposed. The proposed controller measures traffic flows, cell loss rate and cell delay periodically each classes. The Neural network learns the relation between those measured information and service quality by real-time. Also the proposed controller uses the DWRR multiplexer with buffer dedicated to every traffic source in order to measure the delay that cells experience in buffer. Experimental result shows that the proposed method can control effectively heterogeneous traffic sources with diverse QoS requirement.

UX (User Experience) Design was an interdisciplinary approach in humanities, engineering, science and design. We classified the roles of user experience; requirement analysis which are user research, constraints analysis and direction analysis, concept design, information architecture, physical UI, graphical UI, sound UI, Olfactory UI, prototype, evaluation, launch, localization, and knowledge management/UI DB. User research methods were classified by the relation of designer, user, and product/service. We reviewed three issues of UX design; complexity management, efficiency management, and mapping management.

A key requirement for packet based wireless communication systems is to provide a high data rate packet service and improved throughput. To achieve a high throughput, adaptive methods for adjustment of the modulation and coding can be used. In this paper, we propose and analyze a scheme which is a combination of an adaptive modulation and coding(AMC) and transmit diversity(TD). Two different TD schemes are analysed: STTD and STD. Proposed system provides significant improvement in the average throughput.

The unit commitment is an important problem of production scheduling which determines the generating unit to in service(on/off) during scheduling period, to meet system demand and reserve requirement at minimum cost. This paper presents an box type crossover to improve searching ability of GA, to solve unit commitment problem. Satisfactory results are obtained by GA with the proposed crossover operator.

Fault section detection and service restoration is very important in ungrounded distribution system. Techniques currently used to track down faults are time consuming and cumbersome. A new scheme is developed based on communication technology, and the simulation result shows that the method can satisfy the requirement proposed.

Content adaptation is an effective solution to support the quality of service over multimedia services over heterogeneous environments. This paper deals with the accuracy and the real-time requirement, two important issues in making decision on content adaptation. From our previous problem formulation, we propose an optimal algorithm and a fast approximation based on the Viterbi algorithm of dynamic programming. Through extensive experiments, we show that the proposed algorithms can enable accurate adaptation decisions, and especially they can support the real-time processing.

최근 통신망의 규모가 커지고 대역폭이 증가됨에 따라서 통신망에 요구되는 신뢰도가 증가하게 되었다. 통신망에 있어서 대체 경로의 지정은 통신망의 장애 발생으로부터 통신망을 보호하는데 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 서비스들이 가지는 상이한 트래픽 파라메터와 QoS(Quality of Service)를 제공하고 통신망의 관리를 용이하게 하기 위해서 동일한 물리매체 위에 ATM 베어러 서비스 유형(CBR, rt-VBR, nrt-VBR, ABR, UBR)에 따라 논리적으로 구분된 통신망을 구성한다. 또한 사용중인 노드 또는 링크에 장애가 발생했을 때, 보다 바른 자동복구를 위해서 대체경로를 이용한 자동북구 방법을 사용하고, TINA 기반의 장애관리 기능을 사용하여 초고속 통신망에 적합한 자동복구 방법을 제안한다.

전자금융 시대를 살고 있는 지금 안전한 전자금융거래를 위해 금융감독기관의 규제가 지속적으로 강화되고 있다. 하지만 규제를 준수해야 하는 약 4,500여개 금융기관의 수에 비해 정보보호컨설팅 및 정보보호서비스 사업자의 수가 턱없이 부족하고 감독기관의 물리적 감독업무에도 상당한 업무부담이 과중되고 있다. 날로 실시간 리스크관리의 요구가 강해지고 있는바 본 논문을 통하여 규제준수에 관해 요건, 이행, 모니터링, 감독 등의 업무를 효율적으로 하기 위해 필요한 기술적 접근을 시도하고 시스템 기반의 컴플라이언스 매니지먼트를 위한 요소항목을 도출하고자 한다. 본 연구는 금융IT 컴플라이언스 매니지먼트 프레임워크와 GRC 프로세스 모델을 기반으로 연구하였고 연구결과 컴플라이언스 매니지먼트 라이프사이클과 각 라이프사이클에 따른 34개의 컴플라이언스 매니지먼트 인덱스를 설계하였다.
