The public transportation in operation or to be planned domestically includes subway, LRT, bimodal tram and bus, which are independently characterized in their passenger capacity and cost. High quality service is generally accompanied by high cost of construction and operation. Thus, ITS, BIS/BMS and BRT system are recently introduced to provide high quality service to the passengers with the cost as low as possible. The bimodal tram is under development to achieve such goals in public transportation. The passenger capacity is approximately expected to be 10,000$\sim$17,000 persons/hour and the construction cost to be 10$\sim$30 million dollars/km. It is possible to construct the infrastructure gradually depending on the demand of transportation in the planned route, which can effectively reduce the initial cost to launch the service. The bimodal tram is developed to provide the advantages of subway and bus to the passengers with respect to the scheduled operation and flexibility of the lines.

Since the KTX start its service on April 1st of 2004, KTX increased its share up to 17.4% (2008). It's the 2nd after the passenger car share of 59.2% in the national transportation, but the gap is still wide. In addition, because of the rise of goods' and oil price, the share of intercity express bus is growing up. Nevertheless Korail is trying to improve the train schedule and develop internodal transit system, the number of passengers of KTX is remain flat. KORAIL should start and proceed the tasks below. - Analysis of the 5 year's operation of KTX since the year of 2004 to make plans for the steady growth - development of the KTX operation plan for expansion of railway - preparing the operation of additional passenger rail services on the mail line for newly introduced trains. - expansion of KTX's service area after the introduction of KTX-II - introduction of other new trains - examination for the action plans to promote marketing in main-line including refinement of the rate structure

This study analyzed changes of train operation between Seoul~Cheonan after the introduction of new electrified rail in 2005. As expected number of passengers were reduced at specific service section and several railroad stations which were served by the Mugunghwa. Also, the statistic shows that passenter demand concentrated in a specific time, so train service frequency and level of service need to be modified to meet with changed demand pattern. The purpose of this paper is to identify critical demand pattern, especially, in several section of the railroad system. This studies provide a railroad transportation system that is significantly more efficient, with far greater capacity, by providing solutions to the problems of congestion impact.

This paper describes the universal-type signaling service equipment which provides a signaling service function (R2 MFC, DTMF, Continuity check tone, and Audible tone sending and/or receiving) for call processing control in TDX-10 switching system. Based upon the structure of the TDX-10 switching system, the philosophy of design and technology on the universal-type signaling service equipment has been investigated in order to realize a reduction in size and cost, as well as assuring high reliability and flexible operation. Finally, the control method, fuctional operation and principal feature of the designed universal-type signaling service equipment have been described.

본 연구는 실시간 참고서비스의 도입을 위한 필요 요소들을 정책적 측면과 운영적 측면에서 고찰하고 효과적인 활용방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 참고서비스의 새로운 방법으로 소개되어지고 있는 실시간 참고서비스는 선진국의 사례에 기초해 성급하게 도입과 적용을 결정하기보다 충분한 사전 조사와 사례분석에 의한 적절한 적용 및 활용방안이 결정되어야 한다. 즉, 서비스정책의 수립, 적절한 프로그램의 선정, 프라이버시 정책의 확립, 그리고 도서관간 협력방안의 모색 등의 정책적 요소와 서비스 인력의 확보 및 교육, 운영시간, 홍보 및 평가시스템 운영 등의 운영적 요소에 대한 고려와 검토작업이 선행되어야 한다.

In order to reduce the farmers' burden of purchasing agricultural machinery and address the shortage of farm workers, the government have been promoting agricultural machinery rental service since 2003. Despite of political purpose, the outcome of agricultural machinery rental service turned out to be adverse, high cost and low efficiency, by the pork barrel projects operated from some municipalities. Therefore, this study was aimed to improve the efficiency of agricultural machinery rental service by analyzing the operation status of agricultural machinery in local government. A questionnaire survey was conducted at 134 cities and counties in terms of rent type, management personnel, business budget, agricultural machinery ownership, rental performance, use rates, operational problems, and improvement plan. This study found that some agricultural machinery rental offices were only focused on the short-term rental service, which caused the increasing number of operating personnel, required facilities/equipment. The short-term rental service has a limitation for promoting the mechanization rate in dry-field farming. Therefore, it should be carried out along with the long-term rental service which a lessee maintains and manages agricultural machinery directly. Furthermore, the reasonable number of agricultural machinery based on regional circumstances should be considered to meet rental demand and collect the minimal rental fee for purchasing new agricultural machinery and replacing old ones.

본 논문에서는 자전거 쉐어링 사업을 중심으로 창원시 누비자 자전거 쉐어링 서비스의 최적 재고 수준을 유지하며 시스템 운영비용을 최소화하는 방법을 제안한다. 쉐어링 서비스란 일반적으로 시간단위로 차량을 렌트하는 개념으로 렌터카보다 편리한 서비스로 이용자의 수가 많아지고 있는 추세이다. Vehicle sharing service는 다음 세대 차량과 함께 sustainable transportation 의 수단으로써 급부상하고 있다. 지구 온난화의 심화와 함께 이산화탄소 배출량의 감소에 관심이 집중되면서 기존의 차량의 내연 기관을 하이브리드 혹은 전기차로 변화하고 있으며, 기존의 대중교통 시스템을 다각화로 발전하고 있다. 그 중 실현 가능성이 높은 분야인 자전거 쉐어링 분야이며, 이미 지방 자치 단체 중심으로 자전거 쉐어링 사업이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 자전거 쉐어링 서비스의 각 터미널간 최적 자전거 보유수준(S-s)을 제안하는 시뮬레이션을 설계하여 운영비용을 최소화시키는 자전거 터미널의 재고수준을 제안하였다.

버스 정류장은 많은 승객이 이용하기 때문에 편리한 서비스 제공을 위하여 이용자 중심으로 환경을 개선할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 GAP, IPA, 구조방정식을 이용한 버스 정류장 서비스 수준에 대한 이용자 평가모델 구축을 통하여 그 개선 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 버스 정류장의 31개 서비스 항목에 대한 GAP 구축에서는 장애인 관련 시설, 버스 이용 관련 정보를 제공하는 항목에서 차이가 높게 나타났다. IPA의 현재 서비스의 경우는 버스 운행 관련 정보, 보조시설, 장애인 지원시설에서 우선 시정이 필요한 것으로 나타났고, 서비스 기대치의 경우는 버스 운행 관련 정보 및 환승시설, 장애인 지원시설에서 지속적 노력이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 구조방정식에 의한 버스 정류장 서비스 평가모델은 적합도가 좋은 것으로 나타났으며, 버스 정류장 전체 만족도에는 시설 이용 만족보다는 대기 만족 그리고 버스 정류장 시설 이용 만족에는 버스 운행 관련 정보 만족, 보조시설 만족, 버스 운행 정보 및 환승시설, 장애인 지원시설이 상대적으로 영향을 많이 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 현재 버스 정류장에 대한 전체 만족도가 낮을수록, 전체 만족도에 대한 기대치가 높게 요구되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 버스 운행 관련 정보와 장애인 지원시설에 대해서는 적극적인 개선 전략이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 서비스철학 정립을 위해 동양 주류사상의 서비스철학성을 분석하였다. 선행 연구인 한국 대표 사상의 서비스철학성 연구에 이어, 동양 주류 사상인 중국과 인도 사상의 서비스 철학으로서의 정합성을 탐색하였다. 서비스철학의 기존 기본구조와 운용모델을 심화하여 제시하고, 동양 주류사상의 서비스철학성을 도출하였다. 동양 주류사상은 중국사상과 인도사상으로 대별할 수 있다. 인도는 고대 사상이 중심이고, 중국은 고대 및 중세사상을 포괄하여 분석하였다. 서비스철학은 서비스의 구조에 대한 사상, 서비스의 운용에 대한 사상 등으로 제시될 수 있는데 기존 연구를 심화하였다. 서비스의 본질적 특성은 관계성, 쌍방향성, 수평성, 조화성인데 이를 반영한 서비스구조는 유무상생, 즉 제품과 서비스의 상생구조임을 제시하였다. 또한 서비스의 발전과 운용원리는 정반합의 기본 운용구조를 가지되 그 운용사이클이 신속하고 발전적임을 밝혔다. 중국과 인도를 중심으로 동양 주류사상의 서비스철학 부합성을 제시하였는데, 중국 사상은 춘추전국시대의 대표 사상인 도가 유가와 묵가를 분석하고, 후대의 신유학과 외부에서 유입되어 발전된 중국 불교 사상까지 분석하였다. 인도 사상은 고대 베다의 철학사상, 우파니샤드의 철학, 대표적 불교철학들을 중심으로 분석하였다. 중국과 인도 주류 사상의 큰 흐름에서 서비스철학과의 부합성이 뚜렷하게 나타남을 보였다. 중국 도가의 무 사상, 유가의 정명론과 인 사상, 묵가의 겸애사상, 인도 바가바드기타의 카르마요가 사상, 불교의 연기사상 등이 모두 서비스 구조 및 운용 철학과 부합한다. 향후 서비스철학의 구조와 운용원리를 보다 구체화하고 큰 사상으로 발전시키기 위한 후속 연구들이 필요하며, 그리스 로마 및 독일 철학을 중심으로 한 서양 대표사상의 서비스철학 부합성 연구도 필요하다. 궁극적으로 미래 경제사회 발전을 견인하는 사상적 기반으로서 서비스철학 정립이 필요하다.

This paper reports on a study investigating key attributes of service recovery strategies in internet shopping mall. In theses day, service recovery has received important attention in the service operation management literature. Service recovery involves those actions designed to resolve problems, alter negative attitudes of dissatisfied consumers and to ultimately retain these customers. The study examined that service recovery strategies (apology, compensation) impact on the customer satisfaction. And customer satisfaction impacts on customer loyalty with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). This study can be used a strategic implication for internet shopping mall managers to develop successful service recovery strategies.
