This study tries to establish the evaluation standards of the service quality of local cultural festivals in an effort to identify public awareness of those festivals. Also, based on the importance-performance importance-performance analysis on the service quality, this research is aimed at finding ways to enhance service quality and to improve operation plans in more efficient ways for the maximization of visitors' use of festivals. Ultimately, the current study seeks to make a contribution to improving the quality of local cultural festivals. The results of the correspondence t-test analysis of importance and performance revealed that significant differences were found in following items of five factors; 1) in the responsiveness factor, the presence or absence of rest space, facility guide, communication, and installation of public restroom/cleanliness 2) in the certainty factor, food prices and staff members' kindness 3) in the reliability factor, all items including festival pamphlets (to the festival venue), guidance facilities/signposts, hospitality, schedule information, and quick responses 4) in the tangibility factor as well, all items such as the awareness of local culture, benefits, and storytelling 5) in the empathy factor, diversity of events and festival contents.

Multiple CAS (Conditional Access System) could be safely downloaded and implemented in IPTV environment. Domestic standard of iCAS (Interchangeable CAS) which is providing device compatibility and mobility, can only defines CAS replacement for protecting Real-Time Streaming broadcast. CAS, however has limitations in IPTV's two-way communication environment where it needs to fulfill contents protection requirements of various broadcasting service. In order to supplement the limit of CAS, DRM protection technology should be required. Contents for real time broadcasting service or real time VOD service could be protected by CAS technology whereas services such as PVR, download VOD service or downloaded contents sharing could be protected by DRM technology. Therefore, a flexible IPTV device service environment could be constructed by mutual protection of CAS and DRM. This essay is going to research on the method of applying DRM based on iCAS standard, as well as proposing a system configuration applied with iCAS/DRM in commercialization.

This study was to examine the operation strategy of terrestrial broadcasting system on channel image and N-screen service. Nowadays, terrestrial broadcasting system provides video streaming service based on internet. In other words, terrestrial broadcasting system provides N-screen service through TV-PC-Smart phone-Tablet PC. But it is different for terrestrial broadcasting system to analysis the choice criterion of program. Only, channel image of terrestrial broadcasting system expanded into N-screen. Finally, channel image of terrestrial broadcasting system is the competition strategy. It is necessary for terrestrial broadcasting system to prepare the strategy of program choice for users, original contents, new platform and service in connection with N-screen.

This study examines the status of websites operation among libraries affiliated to the Korean Medical Library Association, compares and analyzes website menu organization and information service contents of 29 medical libraries that currently run websites. The followings are results of this study. 1) the main menu of medical library websites is arranged with 'Search for Library Materials, Electronic Resources, Library Service, My Library, Library Guide, and the Bulletin Board.' 2) 15 services were selected as the main information service provided from the medical library website. 3) the information service that was provided from the most institutions was 'Document Copy/ Interlibrary Loan,' followed by 'Loan Reservation/Renewal, Request Library Purchase Book, Off-campus Access, User Education, Reference Resources, Q&A Board, Our Library Pubmed, and Dissertation Submission' in this order.

With the help of information technology, PVR has been evaluated as an innovative device that brings epochal changes for program selection and convenience of receivers with the convergence between broadcasting and telecommunication. Satellite broadcasters introduced PVR service to strengthen its interactive function. This study analyzed PVR user behavior and how it changed the existing TV viewing behavior through satellite subscribers. The results revealed that PVR subscribers mainly used it for time shifting like VCR use. FUrthermore, heavy PVR users watched TV more than on average and enjoyed a divers genre of programs. This study provides scholarly implication for PVR using behavior and its effects and its useful information for contents and marketing strategy to help PVR service popularization.

The number of dental hygiene students is increasing as dental hygiene departments are extended or newly installed continuously, and in other to keep up with the quantitative increase, we need to standardize dental hygiene curriculums. The present study conducted a questionnaire survey with dental hygiene students who had completed clinical practice. The obtained results as follows. 1. According to the contents of clinical practice at dental clinics, the frequency of dental hygiene students' observation practice was high in basic medical service, dental prosthesis, and orthodontics. 2. The frequency of performance practice was high in basic medical service, oral medicine, preventive dentistry, pediatric dentistry, periodontology, and oral surgery. According to the area of clinical practice. 3. According to the contents of clinical practice at university hospitals, the frequency of dental hygiene students' observation practice was high in basic medical service, dental prosthesis, and orthodontics. 4. The frequency of performance practice was high in basic medical service, oral medicine, preventive dentistry, pediatric dentistry, periodontology, and dental prosthesis. 5. The students' satisfaction was high in basic medical service, oral medicine, preventive dentistry, and periodontology. The period of clinical practice varies according to school curriculum and circumstance among dental clinics and university hospitals where clinical practices are performed, students' satisfaction with their observation practice and performance practice may be different. Thus, for dental hygiene students' clinical practice, it is considered desirable to prepare integrated education programs that standardize the period and contents of clinical practice.

This study intended to draw some suggests for the development of mathematics teachers' expertise through the comparison research of pre-service and in-service teachers' PCK about questioning in elementary mathematics class. For this purpose, questionnaire survey was conducted to some pre-service and in-service teachers about the PCK concerning the way how questioning during mathematics class. This survey revealed the following implications. First, from the perspective of mathematics classroom, it is still more important the practical knowledge about how to teach which is evolutionally developed passing through the experience and currier of teaching than theoretical knowledge itself. Comparing the teachers' PCK about the two related knowledge types of mathematics contents, in case of procedural knowledge related PCK it was more asked of teachers' expertise than the case of conceptual knowledge related PCK. Thirdly, in case of learners' incorrect answer, for the desirable teaching it should be a questioning focused on whether there being or not the systematic among the learners' incorrect answer, and in case of appreciating the learners' understanding about the presently taught contents the questioning should be constructed considering the relevant contents early learned.

Using technology acceptance model, this study investigates the factors affecting N-screen service adoption. We collected 435 available answers from potential users through systematic online survey. Results show that self-efficacy and perceived interactivity factors had positive effects on perceived ease of use. In addition, service variety, perceived interactivity, perceived ease of use factors had positive effects on perceived usefulness. Yet social effect factor had negative effect on perceived usefulness. On the other hand, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness had positive effect on the intention of use. In conclusion, to improve the intention to use N-screen service, it is necessary to make users convinced that N-screen service can give customized contents and interactive information regardless of time and place.

VOD service provides an additional revenue model for digital broadcasting companies in addition to the existing subscription fees and advertisement-based revenue models. Therefore, each digital broadcasting company develops its own VOD service and performs frequent improvement work. In this circumstance, the developer is seeking to improve the efficiency of the VOD service development. To address the needs of such developers, this study conducted a basic study to apply the feature-oriented analysis model to the development of VOD services. The feature-oriented analysis model is recognized (through a number of case studies) as an effective tool for analyzing the requirements of softwares with the functions that are interconnected organically. In this paper, we developed a feature model of VOD service and designed the primary functions of each feature and the test-cases that can test the these functions, laying the foundation for developing VOD services based on feature-oriented analysis model.

An example of such a new device is a mobile phone. The demand for wireless data communication is growing rapidly. However, agencies have not yet completed the standardization of the markup language. Due to the evolution of the Mobile Device, the agencies in this field have provided different data formats with each Mobile Device Platform. Traditionally, contents are hand-tailored to suit the target devices. A key problem is that the characteristics and capabilities of mobile devices are too diverse to service the most suitable mobile contents. Owing to this problem, the need for a reusable document description language increases. In this paper, we defined Template file that is common data to service mobile devices. We proposed method that could be effective wireless web service though design and the implementation of the Call Manager & the XSL Generator. In the methodology, when requesting wireless internet service, the mobile device finds out Markup language and hardware specification of the mobile device through the Call Manager component supports. The XSL Generator component creates XSL file dynamically that is the most suitable to device. Finally, contents is serviced to each device by XSLT.
