Development of a System for Field-data Collection Transmission and Monitoring based on Low Power Wide Area Network (저전력 광역통신망 기반 현장데이터 수집 전송 및 모니터링 시스템 개발)

  • Field data monitoring systems such as renewable energy generation and smart farm integrated control are developing from PC and server to mobile first, and various wireless communication and application services have emerged with the development of IoT technology. Low-power wide-area networks are services optimized for low-power, low-capacity, and low-speed data transmission, and data collected in the field is transmitted to designated storage servers or cloud-based data platforms, enabling data monitoring. In this paper, we implement an IoT repeater that collects field data with a single device and transmits it to a wireless carrier cloud data flat using a low-power wide-area network, and a monitoring app using it. Using this, the system configuration is simpler, the cost of deployment and operation is lower, and effective data accumulation is possible.

  • A web-based client/server program, MOVIDIK(Motor-Operated-Valve Integrated Database Information of KEPCO) has been developed to perform a design basis safety evaluation for a motor-operated-valve(MOV) in the nuclear power plant. The MOVIDIK consists of seven analysis modules and one administrative module. The analysis module calculates a differential pressure on the valve disk, thrust/torque acting at a valve stem, maximum allowable stress, thermal-overload-relay selection, voltage degradation, actuator output and margin. In addition, the administrative module manages user information, approval system and code information. MOVIDIK controls a huge amount of evaluation data and piles up the safety information of safety-related MOV. The MOVIDIK will improve the efficiency of safety evaluation work and standardize the analysis process for the MOV.

  • CPMS(Classroom Power Management System)는 유비쿼터스 센서네트워크 기술을 적용한 층별 강의실 조명 전원을 관리하는 시스템이다. 강의실에는 조도를 센싱하는 모트와 조명 전원을 제어하는 모트가 설치되어 있어, 주기적으로 센서 데이터 및 강의실 전원 상태를 주기적으로 CPMS서버에 보고한다. CPMS 서버는 베이스 모트를 통해 각 강의실의 방의 제어 모트들과 통신하고 전원을 제어하고, 윈도우즈 GUI 소프트웨어를 통해 모트의 상태를 표시하고, 강의실 사용에 대한 스케줄을 입력하여 관리한다. 본 논문에서 CPMS는 모트간의 통신은 IEEE 802.15.4/Zigbee모듈을 사용하여 구현했고 서버소프트웨어는 윈도우즈 시스템을 기반으로 C# 언어와 MS SQL Server로 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 장치들 간의 통신이 모두 무선으로 이루어지므로 설치가 쉽고, 유선 공사에 드는 비용을 절감한 수 있을 뿐 아니라 유선 공사가 난감한 기존 빌딩에서도 구축할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  • The Objective of this research was to construct the multimedia database system that was necessary for the education of the practitioners and the students. To establish this system, there were technical problems as follows 1) The processing of the images, 2) The rapid processing of the information with the computer network, 3) The development of diagnosis tools, 4) The technique to establish the database system, 5) The link between the database system and the internet, and 6) The method to educate through many cases. The analysis for diagnosis and treatment planning were provided as two parts : model analysis and cephalometric analysis. As a model analysis, arch length discrepancy and Bolton tooth ratio were provided for the part of patient information. Cephalometric analyses were provided in the part of initial diagnosis. The Cephalometric analysis ver 2.0 and the PowerCeph pro 3.3.5 were used to show Tweed, Steiner and Jarabak analysis. In the main part, Kim's analysis and some measurements were added.   • Documents in a traditional PDM(Product Data Management) system have been managed in a form of scanned document files or electronic documents developed by specific tools. Though each tool manages documents with its own systematical methods, it has drawbacks in data search, data integration and interchange, etc. For this reason, in this research we propose an efficient document management system for PDM by using the SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language), one of CALS and ISO standards for document interchanges. Among documents to be managed in PDM, the engineering change notification (ECN) is taken into account. The DTD (Document Type Definition) has been constucted based on the logical analysis of the documents format, In addition, based on the DTD, DB classes have been designed by object-oriented paradigms and a prototype for document input/output and search has been developed using UniSQL ORDBMS (Object-Relational DBMS) and PowerBuilder under the client/server environment.

  • 주제어실의 경보계통은 중요한 발전소 변수의 비정상 상태 발생과 운전원의 관심을 요하는 기기상태의 변화에 대해 가시적/가정적 신호로 운전원에게 경고하는 역할을 담당하는 역할을 한다. 본 논문에서는 전력연구원에서 수행중인 '원자력 교육원 시뮬레이터 성능개선' 과제의 일부로 원자력교육원 2호기의 기준발전소인 영광 1호기의 디지털 경보설비 (IAS : Intelligent Annunciator System)의 구조와 이를 시뮬레이터 주컴퓨터 (Host Computer)상의 다이나믹 모델과 연동시켜 구현하는 방법론 및 구현된 경보감시계통에 대해 다루고 있다. 원자력교육원 2호기 경비감시계통은 Trend 모드, 그룹모드, 윈도우 모드, 조치사항 모드 및 조치사항 등록 모드 등 총 5개의 모드로 구성되어 있으며, 발생된 경보의 시간별/그룹별 출력, 경보창 에뮬레이션과 임의의 창에 대한 조치사항 출력, 새로운 경보에 대한 등록 및 삭제 등의 기능 구현이 가능하다. 또한 시뮬레이터에 대한 규제기관의 인허가가 중요한 현안으로 대두될 전망임에 따라 ANSI/ANS-3.5, Regulatory Guide 1.149 등 규제요건에서 제시하는 성능기준 및 검사기준을 만족하도록 설계함으로 향후 규제기관에 대한 인허가 획득을 대비하였다.

  • Solid State Disks(SSD) are one of the best candidates to support next storage technology in desktop and server computing environment. The features of non-volatility, low power consumption, and fast access time for read operations are sufficient grounds to support SSD as major components of future storages. This paper describes a technical trend of HDD based RAID technology and proposes a new RAID system for SSD.

  • A wearable ubiquitous health care monitoring system using integrated ECG and accelerometersensors based on WSN is designed and developed. Wireless sensor network technology is applied for non intrusive healthcare in some wide area coverage with small battery support for RF transmission. We developed wearable devices which are wearable USN node, sensor board and base-station. Low power operating ECG and accelerometer sensor board was integrated to wearable USN node for user's health monitoring. The wearable ubiquitous healthcare monitoring system allows physiological data to be transmitted in wireless sensor network from on body wearable sensor devices to a base-station connected to server PC using IEEE 802.15.4. Physiological data displays and stores on server PC continuously.

  • A study proposes possibility of new IoT measuring system blended with a smart device. The research serves the best cultivation information for domestic fruit's enhancement of competitive power and also develops a glucose measuring system by which people manage fructose with the mobile device. The mobile glucose tester is designed with a form of accessory which has high portability and utility because the product connects an existing analogy refractometer to the smart phone. You can check the glucose rates data by commodity, region, and season then save measurement results with server in real time for an exclusive application. It's possible to serve the glucose map, graph, and data list through the web service. This is very useful to do collect, analyze, and process the glucose data.

  • With the rapid development of the national industry, the importance of electrical safety was recognized because of a lot of new electrical equipment are installing and the electrical accidents have been occurring annually. Today, the electrical equipments is inspect by using the portable Infrared thermal imaging camera. but the most negative element of using the camera is inspected for only state of heating, the reliable diagnosis is depended with inspector's knowledge, and real-time monitoring is impossible. This paper present the infrared thermal imaging safety diagnosis system. This system is able to monitor in real time, predict the state of fault, and diagnose the state with analysis of thermal and power data. The system consists of a main processor, an infrared camera module, the power data acquisition board, and a server. The diagnostic algorithm is based on a mathematical model designed by analyzing the Pearson's Correlation Coefficient between temperature and power data. To test the prediction algorithm, the simulations were performed by damaging the terminals or cables on the switchboard to generate a large amount of heat. Utilizing these simulations, the developed prediction algorithm was verified.
