유아기 어머니의 심리적 복지척도 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Psychological Well-Being Scale for Early Children's Mothers)

  • The study attempted to explore the dimensionality of mother's psychological well-being. The major purpose of the study was aimed at establishing the construct validity regarding the instrument of assessing mother's psychological well-being. Instrument for assessing psychological well-being was developed with 9 variables(sense of control, sense of achievement, sense of confidence, sense of acceptance, sense of intimacy, sense of assistance, sense of immersion, sense of hope, and sense of satisfacion) in 3 dimensions(sense of competency, sense of relation, and sense of improvement) with 4 rating scales of 102 items. After the scale development, the estimates of reliability for the 9-variable scales were Cronbach's ${\alpha}=.71{\sim}.90.$ The correlation between the two scales, Psychological Well-Being Index(Franklin, 1996) and Psychological Well-Being(Ryff & Keyes, 1995) was .21~25. The subjects were divided two groups by the score of the Mother's sense of Psychological Well-Being. And the group has hiher score in Mother's sense of Psychological Well-Being showed the higer score of Perceptions of Parental Role Responsibilities Scale(t=3.24, p=.002).

센스메신져 : 움직임 패턴 기반 햅틱 재생 장치 (SenseMessenger : The Haptic Sense Generator based on Motion Recording)

  • SenseMessenger(이하 센스메신져)는 3축 가속센서를 이용해 모션을 저장하는 컵과 2개의 모터 조합으로 만들어진 햅틱 재생 장치를 통해 저장된 모션 패턴을 사용자에게 전달하는 컵으로 이루어진 새로운 인터렉션 기법을 제안하기 위한 도구이다. 사용자의 움직임을 디지털 데이터 형식으로 패턴화하여 편심을 이용한 재생 장치를 통해 재생하였을 때, 입력(모션)과 출력(햅틱 자극) 간의 감성적인 상관관계를 입증하고, 이를 이용한 디지털 미디어 컨텐츠를 제안하였다.

아동의 심리적 복지척도 개발과 타당화 연구 (The Child Psychological Well-being Scale : Development and Validity)

  • The purpose of this study aimed at establishing the validity and reliability regarding the instrument of assessing child psychological well-being. The child psychological well-being rating scale contained 3 dimensions (sense of competency, sense of relation, sense of improvement) 8 variables (sense of control, sense of achievement, sense of confidence, sense of acceptance, sense of intimacy, sense of balance, sense of morale, sense of hope) and 4 rating scale of 80 items. After the scale development, the estimates of reliability for the scale were high. Cornbach ${\alpha}$ was .962 and generalizability was .875. And concurrent validity, criteria related validity, and discriminant validity appeared to be evident sufficiently to the validity of child psychological well-being instrument. The significance of the present study was intended to apply scale validity procedure by using generalizability.

발바닥굽힘근 근피로가 발목관절 고유수용성 감각을 감소시키는가? (Does Plantar-Flexor Muscle Fatigue Degrade Proprioceptive Sense at the Ankle Joint?)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the effect of plantar-flexor muscle fatigue on the force sense and joint reposition sense of ankle joints in the healthy adults. Methods: Fifteen healthy subjects (male: 9, female: 6) participated in this study. A digital dynamometer was used to measure the force sense error while a wireless motion capture device was used to measure the joint reposition sense error. To induce plantar-flexor muscle fatigue for a dominant lower extremity, the subjects were asked to perform plantar flexion until exhaustion while barefoot. The differences in force sense error and joint reposition sense error for the ankle joint were measured immediately. The Wilcoxon test was used to compare these values before and after inducing plantar-flexor muscle fatigue. Results: The force sense error and joint reposition sense error of ankle joints after inducing plantar-flexor muscle fatigue increased significantly compared to the values before inducing muscle fatigue. Conclusion: This study suggests that plantar-flexor muscle fatigue could degrade the force sense and joint reposition sense in ankle joints. In addition, it could deteriorate ankle proprioception.

삼차원 자기공명영상법의 뇌 구조 영상을 위한 최적화 연구: 센스인자 변화에 따른 신호변화 평가 (Optimizations of 3D MRI Techniques in Brain by Evaluating SENSE Factors)

  • 목적 : 평행영상(Parallel imaging)기법의 개발로 긴 촬영시간 때문에 종종 사용되지 못하던 삼차원 영상기법이 최근 들어 환자 병을 진단하는데 새로이 사용되고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 최근에 뇌 영상에서 개발되어 이용되고 있는 삼차원 자기공명영상을 사람의 뇌에서 짧은 시간 내에 얻을 수 있도록 2차원 평행영상 기법을 사용한 최적화 방법을 연구하는데 있다. 대상 및 방법 : 검사 장비는 3.0T 자기공명영상장치를 이용하였으며 8-채널 SENSE(sensitivity encoding) 머리 코일을 이용하였다. 팬텀 및 3명의 사람 머리에서 영상을 얻었다. 세 가지의 삼차원 영상법인 3D T1WI, 3D T2WI 및 3D FLAIR 영상 방법에 대하여 평행인자(SENSE factor)의 변화에 따른 팬텀 영상을 얻었다. 각각의 영상법에서 영상획득에 적당한 SENSE 인자를 찾기 위해 Phase encoding 방향과 Slice encoding 방향을 조합한 SENSE 인자를 변화시키면서 영상을 얻었다. 영상분석을 위하여 특정영역(ROI)를 설정한 후에 신호대 잡음비 (Signal-to-noise ratio, SNR), 감소분율(Percent Signal Reduction Rate, %R), 대조도(contrast-to-noise ratio, CNR)를 계산하였다. 결과 : 팬텀을 이용한 SENSE 인자 변화에 따른 SNR 및 %R 값의 변화 결과 3D T1WI 방법에서 SENSE 인자를 사용한 것들 중에서 SENSE 인자를 총 3인 경우 약 0.2%의 신호 감소가 나타났고 영상시간은 5분 이내였다. 3D T2WI 방법의 경우 SENSE 인자를 사용한 것들 중에서 SENSE 인자를 총 3인 경우에 약 1.0% 신호 감소가 나타났고 영상 시간은 약 5분 이내였다. 3D FLAIR 방법의 경우 SENSE 인자를 사용한 것들 중에서 SENSE 인자를 4를 사용한 경우에 약 0.2% 신호 감소가 나타났고 영상시간은 약 6분이었다. 사람을 대상으로 할 경우 3D T1W 및 3D T2W영상에서 SNR 및 CNR은 SENSE 인자를 3으로 한 경우에서 SENSE 인자를 4로 한 경우 보다 높게 나타났다. 3D FALIR 영상의 경우 CNR은 SENSE 4에서는 SENSE 3에 비하여 낮았다. 결론 : 본 연구에서는 3가지 3차원 영상법을 실제 임상적용이 가능한 시간 영역에서 SENSE 인자를 변화 시키면서 치적의 영상을 얻도록 하는 연구를 실시한 결과 SNR 감소를 최소화 하면서 영상획득 시간을 약 5분에서 6분 정도 소요되는 2차원 SENSE 인자를 찾았다. 이를 뇌 영상에 적용하였을 경우 SENSE 인자를 적용하지 않은 경우와 비교하면 신호 감소는 최소화 하면서 영상의 질은 큰 영향을 주지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 3D T1W및 3D T2W는 SENSE 인자를 3으로 3D FLAIR인자는 SENSE 인자를 4로 하는 것이 환자를 대상으로 한 뇌 영상에 적합하다고 생각된다. 앞으로는 이들 영상법이 뇌 영상뿐만 아니라 다른 영역의 영상에 적용을 위한 최적화가 필요하다고 생각된다.

Interactivity of Neural Representations for Perceiving Shared Social Memory

  • Although the concept of "common sense" is often taken for granted, judging whether behavior or knowledge is common sense requires a complex series of mental processes. Additionally, different perceptions of common sense can lead to social conflicts. Thus, it is important to understand how we perceive common sense and make relevant judgments. The present study investigated the dynamics of neural representations underlying judgments of what common sense is. During functional magnetic resonance imaging, participants indicated the extent to which they thought that a given sentence corresponded to common sense under the given perspective. We incorporated two different decision contexts involving different cultural perspectives to account for social variability of the judgments, an important feature of common sense judgments apart from logical true/false judgments. Our findings demonstrated that common sense versus non-common sense perceptions involve the amygdala and a brain network for episodic memory recollection, including the hippocampus, angular gyrus, posterior cingulate cortex, and ventromedial prefrontal cortex, suggesting integrated affective, mnemonic, and social functioning in common sense processing. Furthermore, functional connectivity multivariate pattern analysis revealed that interactivity among the amygdala, angular gyrus, and parahippocampal cortex reflected representational features of common sense perception and not those of non-common sense perception. Our study demonstrated that the social memory network is exclusively involved in processing common sense and not non-common sense. These results suggest that intergroup exclusion and misunderstanding can be reduced by experiencing and encoding long-term social memories about behavioral norms and knowledge that act as common sense of the outgroup.

농촌지역사회 공동체의식 유형별 지역사회활동 참여 특성분석 (Characteristics of Community Participation According to Types of Sense of Community - Case of Pyeongtaek in Gyeonggi Province -)

  • A rural community has distinct regional characteristics. It preserves the traditionality relatively and its residents live long in the community. Therefore, a rural community forms the sense of community which differs from that of the city and the participation factors affecting the sense of community also may appear differently. This study aims to examine the characteristics of community participation according to types of sense of community by using a segmentation approach. Through a self-administered survey, data was collected from 130 rural community residents in Pyeongtaek. As for the sense of community of rural community residents, two segments which are high level of sense of community and low level of sense of community were deduced. According to the types of sense of community, the difference of each segmentation was analyzed :Socio-demographic characteristics and community participation activities. The findings significantly will be used to make the way to build up the sense of community in rural.

초등학생의 유머감각과 음악성이 자신감에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Self-confidence in Elementary School Students related to Sense of Humor and Music)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the impact of sense of humor and music on the self-confidence of elementary students with general characteristics. The research found differences between the impact of each participants' sense of humor and sense of music on self-confidence. Methods: The participants of this study comprised 265 children who were 3rd to 6th grade elementary students who lived in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do. The participants reported their sense of humor sense, sense of music and self-confidence on three separate questionnaires. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics and t-test, ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis test. Results: The results showed an increase in self-confidence related to the higher income status, young aged mothers and birth order. Moreover, academic achievement was shown to relate to a high sense of humor and music, and self-confidence. The elementary students with a sense of humor and music and self-confidence showed a significant positive correlation with each other. Conclusion: The above results of this study can be utilized as a source in the development of programs applying sense of humor and music to improve the self-confidence of elementary school students.

  • This paper proposes a new Sense Amplifier for MRAM. Current Sense Amplifier employs a latch-type circuit to amplify a signal from the selected memory cell. The proposed Sense Amplifier simplifies the circuit by amplifying the signal using cross-coupled PMOS transistors. It shows the same operation speed as the latch-type Sense Amplifier in simulation and occupies only 85% of the area taken by the latch-type Sense Amplifier.

운동감의 정량화를 위한 감성공학적 기법 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Quantification of Kinesthetic Sense Using Human Sensibility Ergonomics Approach)

  • When grasping a movable object or making an object move, humans feel kinesthetic sense. The kinesthetic sense is the human sense that the human feels in response to the motion acted on him. The objective of the paper is to transform the kinesthetic sense associated with the human arm into the quantified data that are useful from the engineering viewpoint. A 2-dimensional motion generator composed of two linear motors was developed to provide various motion patterns. It can change its stiffness and damping values on the real-time basis by properly regulating the force generated by the linear motors. Based on Taguchi method, the most dominant factors to affect the kinesthetic sense were investigated. Also, a reference function adequate to quantify the kinesthetic sense was found. Based on this function, the effects of changes in stiffness and damping on the kinesthetic sense were investigated. Various tests show that the damping is a more dominant factor than the stiffness in forming the kinesthetic sense.
