미국대학원이 인지하는 韓國傳統紋樣의 感性이미지 (Sensibility Images of Korean Traditional Motifs Cognized by American College Students)

  • 미국대학생이 인지하는 한국전통문양의 감성이미지와 그 구조를 살펴보았으며, 그 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국전통문양의 종류, 표현유형, 구성형식, 적용대상에 따른 감성이미지는 고급성, 단순성, 쾌할성, 현대성의 네 가지 차원으로 구성되어 있으며, 고급성과 단순성 차원이 주요 차원인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국전통문양에 대한 감성이미지는 독립변인인 문양의 종류, 표현유형, 구성형식, 적용대상에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 고급성 차원의 이미지에는 문양의 표현유형이, 쾌활성 차원의 이미지에는 문양의 구성형식이, 현대성 차원의 이미지에는 문양의 적용대상이 중요한 영향을 미쳤다.

웨딩드레스의 디자인 요소와 지각자 성별에 따른 인상형성 연구(제2보) -소재, 소매와 장식유무를 중심으로- (A Study on Impression Formation According to Design Elements of wedding Dresses and Perceivers Gender(Payt II) -Emphasis on Materials, Sleeves, and Trimmings of wedding Dresses-)

  • The objective in the part H of this study was to investigate the effects of materials, sleeves, trimming, and perceivers gender on impression formation. Stimuli consisted of 13 color photographs of a female model wearing a wedding dress which were manipulated according to clothing cues. A semantic differential sale of 4 dimensions was used. These were attractiveness, neatness, femininity, and prettiness. Samples were 312 males and females. For the effect of sleeves, there were significant main effects in attractiveness, femininity, neatness, and prettiness. Three-quarters lace ruffled sleeves increased the perception of positive attractiveness, femininity, and prettiness. Flounced sleeves had a positive effect on the perception of neatness. Long-tight sleeves had a negative effect on the perception of attractiveness, femininity, and prettiness. Sleeveless dresses increased the perception of negative neatness. There was an interaction effect between sleeves and the perceivers gender on neatness. For the onぉ of material, there were significant main effects in neatness, femininity, and prettiness. Solid cloth had a positive effect on the perception of neatness and negatively on prettiness. The combination of lace and solid cloth increased the perception of positive femininity and prettiness. lace had a negative effect on the perception of neatness. Satin increased the perception of negative femininity. There was an interaction effect between material and perceivers gender on prettiness. The main effect of trimmings was its effect on prettiness. Ribbons increased the perception of positive prettiness. Not having any trimmings had a negative effect on the perception of prettiness. There was an interaction effect between timings and the perceivers gender on neatness. The results of this study confirm that image perception of wedding dresses becomes different according to the materials, details, and perceiver's gender.

드럼세탁기용 세제 특성에 따른 세탁포의 주관적 태평가 및 선호도에 관한 연구 (Subjective Hand and Preference of Washed Fabrics according to Detergent of Drum Type Washer)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the better washing condition, especially on detergent contents to satisfy the consumer's concern on fabric hand using Drum Type Washer. The hand and preference of washed fabrics by various detergent contents were analyzed through subjective evaluation using questionnaire method in dry and wet state. Wine rank's semantic differential scale questions were developed with 27 kinds of adjective pairs and seven rank's scale questions were to evaluate preference of washed fabrics oil holistic touch, washing and rinsing effect and purchase intention of detergent. Group of trained panelists and untrained women panelists of $30{\sim}40$ years old were participated. The factors affecting consumer's taste for the washed fabrics were analyzed by SPSS 12.0. Smoothness showed relatively higher correlation with preference of washed fabrics on holistic touch, washing and rinsing effect and purchase intention of detergent. There were significant differences in preference of washed fabrics on holistic touch, washing and rinsing effect and purchase intention of detergent by detergent contents when tested in wet state. Fabrics washed with detergents of non-zeolite were appeared to be the preferred ones.

靑少年의 海洋에 관한 關心度의 分析的 硏究 (A Study on Analyzing the Interest of the Youth to the Sea)

  • How does the youth feel the sea affairs\ulcorner Concerning this question, this paper aims to measure the images of the youth toward the sea affairs - the sea, the ship and the seafarer and to examined the above subject. As sample 3, 250 students of middle and high school were selected by considering geographical environment. The data obtained using Semantic Differential Method were analyzed by principal component analysis, and the obtained factor scores were examined the significance of difference between sex, age and geographical environment. By introducing the principal component analysis, the authors extracted from each of the images, that is, factors of dynamics and affection to the image on these a and the former the factors and pleasure on the ship, and also the former two factors and factor of professional evaluation on the seafarer, The following results are obtained. 1) In the image of the sea, dynamic image of the student in high school were higher than the of the student in middle school in spite of geographic environment and affective image were opposite. 2) In the images of the ship, affective image of the student in middle school and high school in inland were high than the of the male and female student in near the sea. And also, male female students in middle school and male student s in high school of inland showed the highest score to the pleasure image. 3) In the image of the seafare, professional evaluation of the female student in middle school were higher than the others, but the students in high school showed the highest score to dynamic image. Especially, in the case of the majority of students in high school living in the city or town near the, their images of the seafarer were not so good in spite of their explorative experiences about the sea affairs.

하천의 물리적 구조에 따른 하천경관의 선호도 및 시각적 이미지 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Preference and Visual Characteristics of Stream Landscape According to Hydromorpological Structures)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다양한 생태적 특성이 나타난 하천구간에 대한 경관의 선호도 및 시각적 이미지 형성에 영향을 주는 물리적 구조 특성을 실증적으로 밝혀내는 것이다. 하천의 물리적 구조 평가를 위해 LAWA기법을 활용하여 하천의 생태성을 평가하고, SD평가법을 통해 하천경관의 시각적 이미지를 조사하여 연구대상지의 물리적 구조 특성에 따른 시각적 이미지 차이를 비교 고찰하였다. 그 결과 생태성이 양호한 구간이 결여된 구간보다 조화롭고 아름다우며 자연적이고 깨끗한 이미지를 형성한다고 밝혀졌으며, 이러한 시각적 이미지에 큰 영향을 주는 물리적 구조는 하천식생 및 횡단형태, 인공구조물의 유무로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 하천복원시 훼손대상지의 생태적 기능과 경관미 향상을 위해 고려해야할 하천의 물리적 구조를 예측하고 제안하는데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

서울지역 안경광학과 재학생 집단의 안경원 쇼윈도 디스플레이 유형에 대한 감성 의미 설문 조사 (A Questionnaire Study of Connotative Meanings of the Show Window Display Types in Optical Shops of Optometry Students in Seoul)

  • 목적: 안경원의 쇼윈도 디스플레이 유형에 따른 소비자 집단의 감성 의미를 객관적으로 분석하여 마케팅에 적합한 디스플레이 유형을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 서울지역 안경광학과 재학생 집단을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 국내 안경원의 쇼윈도 디스플레이 예제들을 수집하여 대표적 유형을 도출하였다. 의미분별 척도법을 이용하여 감성 의미를 추출한 후에, 설문조사와 통계처리를 통하여 각각의 디스플레이 유형별로 해당되는 감성 의미를 결정하였다. 결과: 설문응답자들은 개방형, 소량형, 대량형 및 광고형의 4가지 대표적 쇼윈도 디스플레이 유형별로 각각 깨끗하고 심플함, 고급스럽고 심플함, 서민적이고 실용적이라는 감성 의미를 주로 선택하였다. 결론: 도출된 감성 의미들과 응답자들의 선호도를 분석했을 때, 대학생 집단에게 가장 적합한 디스플레이 유형은 소량형인 것으로 여겨진다.

상담 시 거울 환경이 내담자 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Mirroring Environment on the Attitude of Client in Counselling)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 상담 시 거울 환경이 내담자의 태도에 영향을 미치는지 확인하고자 하였다. 20대 남녀 32명을 대상으로 실험군 16명, 대조군 16명을 거울 환경의 유무에 따라 상담을 진행하고 진실성 척도와 의미변별척도를 사용하여 거울 환경이 중재된 실험군과 중재하지 않은 대조군 사이에 차이가 있는지를 확인하였다. 거울 환경을 제공한 실험군에서 진실성 척도의 '자기-소외' 요소가 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 실험군과 대조군에서 상담 환경을 어떻게 느끼는지를 알아보기 위한 의미변별척도는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 본 연구는 거울 환경의 유무가 내담자의 진실성에 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위한 연구로 진실성 척도의 요인 중 일부에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다.

남성 정장 수트의 시각적 이미지에 관한 연구 (A study on the visual image of men's suit)

  • This study aims to analyze the style of men's suits and extract expressional words for the development of semantic differential scales of visual images according to the change in silhouette. Research methods are literature studies, case studies, and questionnaires. The stimuli were created using CLO 3D, a virtual sewing CAD. This study's results are as follows: 1) The British suit jacket has an angled shoulder line using thin pads, and a slightly higher waistline. The pants of the suit have a high waistline and two pleats, so the thighs of the pants are wide. The American suit jacket has a natural shoulder line, and the waistline is not emphasized. The width of the jacket is relaxed, and the length is long. The pants of the suit have a higher waistline, and the pants are wide as well. The Italian suit jacket has wide shoulders, and the waistline is connected lower with a soft curve, and the length is relatively short. The trousers of the suit are tapered and get narrower as it goes down to the hem. 2) Because it originated in the practices of true bespoke tailoring, traditional British suits have a far more 'fitted' silhouette than the mass-produced styles that became emblematic of the American style. By the late 1950s, a sack-style suit was standard American business attire. This technique gives the sack suit its characteristically 'boxy' silhouette. The "Continental" presented a highly tailored silhouette, with padded shoulders, a slim, tight-fitting chest, and a closely tapered waist. The story was that Italian culture valued aesthetics over all else and thus sought the 'slim' suit style as much as possible. 3) The main expressional words of visual images for men's suits differ greatly depending on the silhouette of suit. The visual images are ranked in the order of 'neat', 'classic', 'educated', 'hard', 'mature', for fitted silhouettes. The words of 'masculine', 'basic', 'comfortable', 'simple', 'mature', 'conservative', 'modern', are ranked for boxy silhouettes. And the words of 'slim', 'young', 'neat', are noted for slim silhouettes.

Psychological and Physiological Responses to Different Views through a Window in Apartment Complexes

  • Background and objective: With increasing land use intensity in urban areas, apartment buildings have been recognized as a typical type of urban residence. In this study, the impacts of different views through a window on health-related responses were investigated using psychological and physiological parameters. Methods: Photos of three different types of views taken on low (2-12 m), middle (28-35 m), and high (over 54 m) floors of dense apartment building areas were used as visual stimuli. Twenty-two healthy adults participated in the indoor experiment. Semantic differential methods and profile of mood states were used as psychological tools. Autonomic nervous activity was evaluated using blood pressures, pulse rate and heart rate variability (HRV). Results: Analytic data showed different characteristics of psychological and physiological outcomes in three different apartment views. In the analysis of psychological parameters, significantly negative responses to the views on middle floors were found in the subscales of tension-anxiety and anger-hostility, compared to low floors. Significantly positive scores in the subscale of vigor were found on low floors with abundance of vegetation and high floors with a view of the sky. A significantly increased value of HF was found on low floors (2,294.96 ± 169.79), compared to the middle(1,553.45 ± 84.66) and high (1,523.02 ± 70.49) floors. Despite the high scores in openness and vigor, high floor views showed significantly higher LF/HF values (1.83 ± 0.09), the indicator of the sympathetic nervous system, than low (1.30 ± 0.07) and middle floor views (1.34 ± 0.06), which might be related to the unconscious fear of heights. Conclusion: Views from different heights in an apartment building can affect the psychological states of residents. Green space through the window may have a positive health outcome by reducing physiological stress.

지하철 역사 내 벽면녹화가 생리심리학적 스트레스 완화에 미치는 영향 (Reduced Physio-psychological Stress Responses to the Green Wall in Subway Station)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the response of the human body to stress induced by wall recording of subway stations in the city center. The experiment was conducted as a simulation exercise, and six images were selected and produced based on Subway Line 2, a representative underground space in Seoul. The study participants included 24 male and female college students. A three-minute experiment was conducted, during which the participants were shown the control image and green wall image once each. To measure psychological status, the following measurement indicators were used: Semantic Differential, Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. Physiological changes were investigated by tracking participants' heart rate and blood pressure. Results showed that parasympathetic and sympathetic nerves were activated in the presence of the green wall in the subway station. The psychological evaluation analysis revealed that negative affect toward underground space decreased, while positive affect increased. This study found that the green wall in subway stations has a stable effect on the human body, both psychologically and physiologically. In the future, green walls in underground spaces can be used to reduce psychological stress and increase physiological relaxation.
