The purpose of this study is to grasp spatial effects of colours in interior design. The visual feeling in the 1/10 living room scale models that are different in the colour combination of ceilings, walls and floors is judged using a semantic scale of the fifteen adjectives. The major findings are as follows; 1) As a result of factor analysis, three dimensions, "evaluation", "activity" and "warmness" are extracted. Dimension 1, "evaluation", is most greatly affected by the chroma and hue of the room colour, dimension 2, "activity", by the hue and value, by the difference in hue and value of ceilings, walls and floors, dimensions 3, "warmness", by mainly the hue of the rooms. 2) Concerning the spatial effects of colour, the subjects felt higher vlaue with relevance to the hue of GY, Y, low chroma and high value. The room colours other than walls is felt more comfortable in similar colour, especially hue and value.re comfortable in similar colour, especially hue and value.

The Purpose of this study was to identify the sensibility elements and the evaluative dimensions of internet fashion shopping mall to supply optimal experience to the customer. First, association words for internet fashion shopping mall by open-ended method and sensibility-expression-adjective feeling as navigating personally 57 shopping mall dealing with fashion products were collected. Collected adjectives were ranked after making index by frequency and diversity. Then, correlation analysis was executed to extract independent adjective and their opposite words. Semantic differential scale was made for internet-fashion-shopping-mall-evaluation. After preliminary investigation with this scale, factor analysis was implemented. 12 sensibility evaluation words were extracted. Then, 200 subjects evaluated satisfaction degree for 8 selected shopping mall. To explain the hierarchy of internet fashion shopping mall, cluster analysis was applied. The understanding of sensibility element and evaluative dimensions of internet fashion shopping mall can be utilized efficiently as basic materials when marketer plans internet shopping mall design and makes marketing strategy.

본고는 일본어 극어 dare-mo/-demo의 의미를 밝히고 나아가 그 허용맥락을 제시하는 것에 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 본고는 dare-mo/-demo의 의미가 다음 네 가지 요인에 의해 결정된다고 주장한다: 첫째는 변항적 성격의 비한정사 dare이고 둘째는 고저강세 유형, 셋째는 가능성의 척도(Likelyhood Scale)에 기반한 -mo/demo의 의미, 마지막으로는 이러한 척도를 형성시켜주는 맥락(context)이다. 이 네 가지 요인이 상호 작용하여, daRE-MO/DAre-mo/daRE-DEMO/DAre-demo 각각의 의미를 만들어 낸다. 또한 본고는 dare-mo/-demo의 분포를 통해 드러나는 극어들 사이의 의미 차이를 척도(scale)상의 양(quantity)과 질(quality)이라는 측면에서 제시하였다. 즉 -mo 결합형의 경우 양에 민감한 가능성의 척도가 고려되는 것에 비해, -demo 결합형에서는 양뿐 아니라 질에도 민감한 척도가 고려된다. 그 결과 -demo 결합형들은, 양적 측면과 연관하여 조건/명령/외연적 맥락 등에서 존재 양화의 의미로 해석될 수 있다. 또한 질적인 면에서 하한가(lower bound)까지 허용하는 강한 양보의 의미(derogative sense)를 갖는다는 점에서 특징적이다.

In this paper I address the problems of defining the semantics of numerals and accounting for how pragmatic inferences are made. I basically assume that a numeral n simply means '${\lambda}P{\lambda}x[#(x)n\;&\;P(x)]$', as commonly assumed. Even when a numeral n has 'at least' interpretation, a sentence with the number does not entail a sentence with n replaced with n-1. But when a sentence with n-1 holds, it is possible that a sentence with n or a larger number holds too. This is not based on a semantic relation, but on pragmatic informativeness. In addition to pragmatic strength, the actual reading of a numeral is affected by some background knowledge of generalizations about the world, but the ordering of pragmatic strength among numbers always plays a role in determining unilateral interpretations. In such a case, we can assume that a set of numbers relevant in the context forms a scale. Forming a scale does not necessarily lead to a unilateral interpretation. The bilateral interpretation of a number is possible in the context where it is known whether or not alternative sentences with contextually salient alternative numbers are true.

This paper discussed the assessment of hand of denim fabrics finished by enzymatic hydrolysis. The semantic differential scale established using the database collected from university students. Analyzing the subjective rating by common factor analysis with oblimin rotation five factors expressing the hand were induced. Factor one was the surface property related to the surface roughness or softness Factor two was the durability which was related to the compactness and bearing strength Factor three was the sense of weight which was related to the thickness and weight. The moisture related properties and the sense of shape recovery were the forth and fifth factors respectively. the evaluations on the surface property weight and moisture related properties were similar by men and women However the shape recovery and the durability were evaluated differently. Surface and weight related properties were important factors judging the hand of fabrics by both group.

Geological and biological surveys are conducted every year to investigate the state of tidal flat loss and ecological changes in the Saemangeum embankment. In addition, various activities for forest monitoring and large-scale environmental monitoring are being actively carried out throughout Korea. Due to the recent development of drone technology and artificial intelligence technology, various studies are being conducted to perform these activities more efficiently and economically. In this study, we propose an image segmentation technique using semantic segmentation to efficiently investigate and analyze large-scale ecological environments using Drone.

Grid computing is an expanded technology of distributed computing technology to use low-cost and high-performance computing power in various fields. Although the purpose of Grid computing focuses on large-scale resource sharing, innovative applications, and in some case, high-performance orientation, it has been used as conventional distributed computing environment like clustered computer until now because Grid middleware does not have common sharable information system. In order to use Grid computing environment efficiently which consists of various Grid middlewares, it is necessary to have application-independent information system which can share information description and services, and expand them easily. Thus, in this paper, we propose a semantic information system framework based on web services and ontology for Grid computing environment, called WebSIS. It makes application and middleware developer easy to build sharable and extensible information system which is easy to share information description and can provide ontology based platform-independent information services. We present efficient ontology based information system architecture through WebSIS. Discovering appropriate resource for task execution on Grid needs more high-level information processing because Grid computing environment is more complex than other traditional distributed computing environments and has various considerations which are needed for Grid task execution. Thus, we design and implement resource information system and services by using WebSIS which enables high-level information processing by ontology reasoning and semantic-matching, for automation of task execution on Grid.

The purpose of this study is to develop a measurement tool for self-image of the teacher librarian by semantic differential meaning scale and to analyse the correlation between their self-image and individual characteristics. This study suggests that the teacher librarians have regarded themselves as friendly, planned, sensitive and cooperative persons as well as persons with discernment. On the other hand, there are some negative self-images such as partial, poor and uninfluential persons plus disregarder and a reserved persons. The educational career of teacher librarians' background has influence on evaluation area of the self-image. This result shows that senior teacher librarians' role performance as a adviser or a leader is very important. So mediator role of KLA and KSLA has to be reinforced to beat the exchange and collaboration between the senior and the junior teacher librarians. It is necessary to appoint the teacher librarians obligatorily in oder to feel their professional security and sense of achievement, also to appreciate expertise of them through role clarification among the human resources of the school library.

The demand of reflective display devices are increasing by widespread of electronic books. In this study, the emotional and reading state for reading material of paper books, reflective display, and LCD display were compared to each other. In order to determine the consumers' sensibility of E-ink e-book the emotional assessment of three different types of books was evaluated following with readability assessment and preference experiment. These experiments controlled contents on the screen by using masks to hide hardware aspects of contents. The results of the sensibility reactions by emotional-vocabulary-experiment using semantic scale show that E-ink is closer to paper than LCD. The readability and preference questionnaire for the experimental results show that e-ink is preferred than LCD and paper was preferred or seem similar to E-ink. The conclusions shows that E-ink and paper has similar sensibility and E-ink e-book is expected to replace paper books.

The purposes of the study were 1) to evaluate the visual image of colored Korean traditional dress for woman 2) to analyze the colors and, color combinations effect on the image perception using gestalt theory. The research method was a quasi-experimental with a between subjects design. The experimental materials developed for the study were a set of stimuli and a response scale. The stimuli was consisted of 17 drawings of females wearing Korean tradinational dress, by using CAD simulation. A response scale consisted of semantic differential scales. The subjects were 1138 undergraduate students of Taejon city, Chungnam province and Chungbuk province. Their responses to the semantic differential scales were analyzed using factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, 1-test. Results were as follows; 1) The image of the stimulus was consisted of the 4 different dimensions.(sociability, evaluation, visibility, attractiveness) 2) Clothing colors had significant effects on image perception of the evaluation dimension, visibility dimension and attractiveness dimension in the mono-color set. The blue showed the most positive image on the evaluation dimension, and the yellow and the gray showed negative image on the same dimension. The yellow showed the most salient image and the gray showed the least salient image on the visibility dimension. The red showed the most attractive image and the green showed the least attractive image on the attractiveness dimension. 3) In hi-color set stimulus, the perceived image was influenced by color combinations. The yellow blouse-the red skirt set showed the most sociable image on the sociability dimension. The blue blouse-the green skirt set showed the most positive image on the evaluation dimension. The yellow blouse-the red skirt set showed the most salient image and the blue blouse-the green skirt set showed the least salient image on the visibility dimension. And the red blouse-the yellow skirt set showed the most attractive image on the attractiveness dimension. On conclusion the visual image of Korean traditional dress wearer was affected by dress colors and color combinations.
