The purpose of this study is to empirical case study for the instructional design of flipped classroom by job-capability advancement of IT business majors. A student of IT business school has learned a lot of management educations for four years. But, they don't recognize a connection between school education and business practice. A subject based on the humanities, and social sciences consisted of mostly the memorization. The undergraduate class lack a practice's curriculum by a creative-oriented lesson rather than memorization-oriented. In particular, An IT business is now recognized as a significance emerging IT investment, the Internet of Things, information security, big data and strategy's ERP. For these reasons, it is important for an instructional design for understanding business practices of the students. Accordingly, Flipped classroom with participatory class be needed increasingly for students' practical sense. We will propose a design method of flipped classroom for inspiring business education. In this, new instructional design overturned traditional teaching method. After the student conducts a prior learn at home, school will accomplish a problem solving through question and answer. This design effected a boredom suppress and creative enforcement of student and an intimacy increase of instructor. In addition, A participatory class and reciprocal peer tutoring will be possible by a spontaneous self-directed learning of student. We were designed course of project type based on big data theory and application to target the fourth-year course. In conclusion, the new instruction provided a help to learning synergy between student and lecturer. During the lessons, the student showed improvement of business sense and enhanced problem solving capability. The lecturer has the intimacy through communication interaction with students.
The objective of this study was to conduct a 'Theory of Home Economics Education' class using online problem-based learning(PBL) for prospective home economics(HE) teachers. The aim was to enable teachers to analyze the learning experience in the classroom, and to prepare operational strategies for online PBL on this basis. In order to achieve this, online PBL was applied to 31 students participating in the 'Theory of Home Economics Education' at the Department of HE in a university in Seoul, and the results were collected from the learning process. This also involved a reflective journal, a survey on the learning experience and the impacts was conducted. Moreover, analysis was undertaken on the learning activities, learning difficulties, and improvements. The main research results are as follows. Firstly, students accessed Webex, an online video conferencing program, and performed two PBL tasks: 'Making Home Economics Promotion Materials' and 'Presenting Teaching Strategies to Improve Learner's Immersion in Online Classes'. Secondly, learners established their own identity of HE learned about the HE class plans themselves. They also encountered realistic experience as HE teachers and learned communication and collaboration skills. Furthermore, they acquired creative problem-solving and self-directed learning ability, community consciousness, as well as the attitude of consideration and respect. Thirdly, students lacked knowledge of learning content and encountered difficulty in solving data research, analysis processes, and unstructured problems. They were affected by a lack of time and encountered problem in communicating with other team members in an online environment. As an improvement in online class operation, it was considrered necessary to reduce the learning burden by securing time and reducing the number of assignments, as well as to explain active interaction with instructors and PBL.
Purpose: It is intended to investigate the satisfaction of dental hygiene students with non-face-to-face online classes and use them as basic data for successful lecture design and operation. Methods: The data collected in this study were analyzed using the lBM SPSS Statistics 21 program. The general characteristics of the study subjects were frequency analysis, non-face-to-face online class satisfaction, and test satisfaction were frequency analysis and technical statistics. Through the independent sample T test, a t-test was conducted to find out whether there was an average difference in online class and test satisfaction according to grade. Results: The advantages of non-face-to-face online classes were that repetitive learning was possible (57.7%), the disadvantage was that there was a lack of real-time communication (74.9%), and the most efficient teaching method was a mixed form of online and face-to-face classes (64.9%). The satisfaction level of online classes was 2.69 points for 'self-directed learning habits,' which was the highest compared to the overall average of 2.55 points, and 2.09 points for 'difficulty in interaction between instructors and learners in online classes.'Non-face-to-face test satisfaction was 2.68 points for 'short test time gives fairness to test results,' higher than the overall average of 2.45 points, and 2.07 points for 'no difficulty accessing the test.'In terms of satisfaction with the non-face-to-face test according to the grade, it was found that the third grade showed a more negative attitude than the second grade in terms of sexual fairness (p<0.05). Conclusions: Through the above results, non-face-to-face online classes require various content development and some mixed classes considering the level of students, and instructors' efforts to improve the quality of classes for interaction between instructors and learners are needed.

In this study, we examine the cases of instructors who conducted subject management by understanding the learning patterns of convergence major students taking programming courses Therefore, we intend to find implications for the operation of SW curriculum for convergence majors in the future. In the programming class of the convergence major, students of various grades and majors take the course, and a survey was conducted to understand their learning patterns in a non-face-to-face environment. The instructor studied whether it would be possible to induce learners' participation in class even when face-to-face communication was not possible, and tried to operate the class by understanding the learning propensity of the learners. As there are many students who have maintained successful experiences in self-directed learning amid COVID-19, weekly assignments were set so that they could solve their own problems independently, and almost all students submitted assignments. This study is meaningful in that it studied students' learning patterns, task performance, and programming achievement by operating 'Machine Learning' subject to students of the convergence major in a non-face-to-face situation due to COVID-19.
In order to suggest desirable management of college mathematics for freshmen in middle level engineering college, we analyse the change of mathematics recognition between 2011 year and 2015 year freshmen who took college scholastic ability test which are based on the national mathematics curriculum 7th and 7th revision, respectively. In A university, 2011 year and 2015 year engineering freshmen were taken basic mathematical ability test and given the survey for the recognition of mathematics and college mathematics. Research results are as follows: First of all, middle level engineering freshmen were poor at basic mathematical ability. The change of mathematics recognition appeared in the level of mathematics ability and the effort for college mathematics class. Moreover middle level engineering freshmen recognize college mathematics as a basic subject for engineering and hope teacher-directed learning in college mathematics class. For the success of college mathematics in engineering college, this study suggests basic mathematical ability test and the survey for the recognition of mathematics and college mathematics. We also suggest that college mathematics class must be focused on basic mathematical ability improvement and self-directed learning.

This paper applied to the economics subject using PBL(Problem-Based Learning) for improving students many skills in Mongolian University that 21st century demands. For the first time at Mongolian University, the PBL problem was developed for the use of PBL and applied to the class and confirmed its effectiveness. The study subjects were 60 freshman students in D university who took 'Economics'. We applied 5 problems for 16 weeks. Students wrote and submitted a reflective journal when they finished the every activity. In addition, they completed a class evaluation form after the PBL program ended. The study showed that they experienced various effects such as understanding of learning contents, understanding of cooperative learning, practical experience, creative problem solving ability, presentation skill, communication ability, self- directed learning ability, self - confidence. In the PBL learning activities, the learning environment was not well prepared yet, so some difficulties were encountered. Mongolian students perceived it as a new and effective way to develop their expertise as a future leader in the 21st century. The main goal of Mongolian university is to produce leaders with professional talent with creative problem solving ability and active learning direction.

Since the onset of COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, universities have hastily transitioned to entirely remote learning, often overlooking considerations for academic achievement and mental health. This study aims to assess the effects of remote education in health and medical disciplines during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research systematically reviewed published articles focusing on the academic achievement and mental health of remote education for health and medical students during the COVID-19 crisis. Five academic databases were searched for medical papers incorporating survey responses about the academic achievements or mental health of health and medical students published from March 2020 to December 2023. Out of 31 papers, 25 addressed academic achievement of class satisfaction, self-directedness, engagement in learning, academic achievement, and self-efficacy, while 11 focused on mental health indicators of depression, fear, and psychological wellbeing. It was observed that satisfaction with remote classes was higher compared to traditional face-to-face classes, except for the practical sessions where the opposite was true. A correlation was found between positive psychological health indicators and higher self-directed learning capabilities among students. This study revealed the effectiveness and challenges of unplanned remote medical education initiated due to the pandemic. Based on these findings, the development of a hybrid medical education model, integrating both face-to-face and remote learning, is recommended.
The purpose of this study is to develop STEAM program for gifted education by combining educational contents of humanities, arts, engineering, technology, and design into various subjects, focusing on mathematics-science curriculum of elementary school. The achievement standards and curriculum contents of elementary mathematics-science curriculum were analyzed while considering 2015 revised national curriculum. And then, a 16 class-hour convergence education program consisting of 3-hour block time was developed by applying the STEAM model with 4 steps. The validity of the program developed through this process was verified, and four educational experts evaluate whether the program can be applied to the elementary school. Based on the evaluation results, the convergence education program was finalized. As a result of implementing the gifted education program for mathematics-science, students achieved the objectives and values of convergence education such as creative design, self-directed participation, cooperative learning, and interest in class activities (game, making). If this convergence education program is applied to regular class, creative experiential class, or class for gifted children, students can promote their scientific creativity, artistic sensitivity, design sence, and so on.

Performance assessment was introduced to improvement of self-directed learning and method of assessment for differenced learning as the seventh educational curriculum is enforced. Performance assessment is overcoming limitation about problem solving ability and higher thinking abilities assessment that is problem of a written examination and get into the spotlight by way for quality of class and school normalization. But performance assessment has problems about possibilities of assessment fault by appraisal, fairness, reliability, and validity of grading, ambiguity of grading standard, difficulty about objectivity security etc. This study proposes fuzzy performance assessment system to solve problem of the conventional performance assessment. This paper presented an objective and reliable performance assessment method through fuzzy reasoning, design fuzzy membership function and define fuzzy rule analyzing factor that influence in each sacred ground of performance assessment to account principle subject. Also, performance assessment item divides by formation estimation and subject estimation and designed membership function in proposed performance assessment method. Performance assessment result that is worked through fuzzy performance assessment system can pare down burden about appraisal's fault and provide fair and reliable assessment result through grading that have correct standard and consistency to students.
The purpose of the study is to examine how effects of activities using Google SketchUp on students' spatial ability and 3D geometric thinking in measuring the volume of solid figures. By comparing the results from pre- and post-tests between the experimental group and control group, we found that activities using Google SketchUp help students improve their spatial ability in the spatial orientation and visualization. In addition, more than half students in the experimental group moved from level 4 up to level 7 in thinking process of measuring the volume in terms of Battista(2004)'s levels. This study suggests that the instruction with Google SketchUp can help to improve students' spatial ability and 3D geometric thinking in the regular class in middle school. In addition, SketchUp can be an advanced technological tool to support students' self-directed learning, which create an efficient educational environment and a great opportunity to learn geometry in an effective manner.
