The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the Seesaw & Swing Early Intervention Program on the positive changes of young children from low-income families. The Seesaw & Swing program was developed by the Community Chest of Korea (Hwang et al., 2009). The subjects for this study consisted of 534 3~6-year olds (177 in the service group, 357 in the control group) from low-income families. The instrument used was the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, second edition (Sparrow, Cicchetti, & Balla, 2005). The results of this study indicated that the Seesaw & Swing intervention program produced positive effects in all of the domain areas under examination : namely, the communication abilities, life skills, socialization, physical development, and adaptive behaviors of young children. In conclusion, the Seesaw & Swing Early Intervention Program for young children from low-income families can be said to be an effective early intervention program which goes some way towards ending the intergenerational transition of poverty in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the Seesaw & Swing early intervention program on the positive changes of mothers with young children who come from low-income families. It measures their child-rearing efficacy and their child-rearing behaviors. The Seesaw & Swing early intervention program was developed by the Community Chest of Korea [13]. The subjects for this study consisted of 96 mothers (49 in the service group, 47 in the control group) from low-income families. The instruments used were the child-rearing efficacy scale [4] and the child-rearing behavior scale [29]. The results of this study indicated that the Seesaw & Swing early intervention program produced positive effects in child-rearing efficacy as well as in child-rearing behaviors: namely, healthy-rearing abilities, guidance abilities, and discipline abilities in child-rearing efficacy; and affection, rational guidance, authoritative control, encouragement and concern in child-rearing behaviors. In conclusion, for mothers with young children coming from low-income families, the Seesaw & Swing early intervention program can be said to be an effective parent education program, which goes some way towards ending the intergenerational transition of poverty in Korea.

The growth of the AR/VR market due to the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution begins with the development of the display industry. The development of OLED and flexible displays is further accelerated by the development of R2R technology. Micro-processing technology using a fast tool servo (FTS), the core technology in R2R processes, is making technological progress in increasingly diverse ways. This paper proposes a method to develop an FTS for horizontal driving and presents this method through experiments and analyses. To develop a swing-type FTS based on a seesaw motion, a rotational moment hinge structure was designed for each type, and research was conducted to determine an effective design method. A cantilever-based swing-type FTS was developed in two variations: one with single-side hinges and another with dual-side hinges. The parameters in the design of the swing-type FTS are rotational moment, natural frequency, and material selection. In conclusion, an FTS with a single-side hinge demonstrates the high performance required for micro processing.

This study purposed to suggest basic data for establishing safety standards of play equipments by measuring actually the playground facilities which were installed at the playground and examining whether they were suitable to the standards or not. The results which investigated 59 outdoor playground locating in Taegu were as follow. As it examined in this study, the standards for swing and slide were established detailly and actual measurement's results were suitable to standards' value as well. Also the standards for seesaw and climber were not in detail and they were intend to design or install unsuitably in outdoor playground for children.

The purposes of this study actually measure to the dimension and the quality of material play equipment's examine whether they meet safety standards or not, and intend to offer basic data to present proper safety standards concerning the dimension of play equipment in the end. The subjects for this study were 59 outdoor playgrounds, 30 among them located in apartment sites and the remainder did in residential districts. The time of actual measurement was in June 1999, and June 2000. Data were analyzed into frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation by using SPSSWIN program. The main results were as follows.: First, more than half of playgrounds were assessed for being traffic hazards due to the adjacent streets. And they were hardly equipped with the toilet and drinking water facilities, but were almost equipped with the shade of a tree and benches. Second, it was caused in inconvenience of children's use and difficulty of play equipments'management, since the quality of play equipments materials was consisted of wood or metal. Third, the standards for swing and slide were established in detail and actual measurement's results were suitable to standards'value as well, whereas the standards for seesaw and climber were not in detail and they did not design or install suitably.

The pivotal emphasis of the physical training for the security agents of the security headquarters in the North Korea is to inspire them with the defense physical training-centered ideology and the war spirit. Their special martial arts is the protectee-centered offensive arts rather than the self-centered arts. It puts emphasis on training black belt-holders in diverse martial arts rather than in a certain martial art. Thus, the physical training for security agents in the South Korea should be also developed into the ways to rear them as black belt-holders in diverse martial arts rather than to foster them as high grade-holders in a certain martial art. And also, professors majoring in security and physical science have to develop jointly the measures to improve the physical and mental agility and the basic physical strength to inspire rapid handling and perseverance, to develop the physical training program to reduce mental and physical stress of security guards, to develop the standard for the examination of physical strength suitable for the body figures of Korean people and the regular evaluation with the standard and to apply traditional folk-games such as the swing and the seesaw to the physical training for security guards.

본 연구의 목적은 취약계층 어머니들이 만든 양육 공동체, '아해 사랑'에 대한 이야기이다. '아해 사랑'은 2009년부터 2013년 까지 '시소와 그네'의 '어머니 학교'에 참여했던 어머니들이 만든 양육 공동체로 본 연구에 참여한 어머니들은 1기~ 5기 어머니 51명 중 연구에 참여를 원하는 어머니 14명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구는 개인 및 집단 인터뷰, 영상자료 및 기타 데이터를 수집한 후, 내용 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과, 양육 공동체 '아해 사랑' 어머니들은 공동체 모임의 구성하고, 운영하는 과정에 어머니들은 '시소와 그네'의 '어머니 학교' 출신이라는 것에 대한 자부심이 있었으며, 양육 공동체 형성에 중요한 역할을 하였다. 어머니들은 친목도모, 정보공유, 유아들과 어머니들을 위한 봉사활동, 그리고 더 나은 양육을 위한 학습을 하였다. 어머니들은 양육 공동체 '아해 사랑'이 생각하고 반성하는 나로 바꿔주고, 어머니들과의 진정한 만남을 경험하고, 삶의 주도권을 회복하는 경험을 할 수 있었다고 인식하고 있었다. 본 연구는 취약계층 어머니들이 능동적으로 만든 양육 공동체에 대해 다루었다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 조기개입과 교육 복지 의료의 통합지원을 통해 기회균등 효과를 달성하고자 하는 영유아통합지원 실천 참여자의 지역사회 실존적 경험에서 발견한 지역사회변화 인식을 보는 것이다. 연구방법은 연구 참여자 인식을 사진을 통해 공유하는 포토보이스 방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 본 사업 참여 전의 지역사회는 '무장소의 발견'(주눅 들어 웅크리고 살아야 하는 의미 없는 공간, 우리동네) 이었다. 하지만 영유아통합지원 실천을 통해 '다시 뿌리내리기'(You are not alone)를 경험한다. 이는 본 실천을 통해 '양육품앗이' 공동체 체험을 하며 지역사회 네트워크로 편입되어가는 과정이었다. 실천경험의 결과 연구 참여자에게 지역사회는 교육 복지 의료자원 네트워크라는 새로운 장소, 즉 '장소성의 회복'(내 안에 피어난 새로운 장소, 우리동네)을 경험하였다. 이에 본 연구는 저소득 빈곤지역을 대상으로 한 지역사회개입의 영유아통합지원 실천의 필요성을 제기하며 포토보이스 연구결과에서 발견한 지역사회에 대한 반성적 고찰단계, 재정착 단계, 장소성 회복 단계 등을 제시한다. 더불어 지역사회변화 실천주체인 '양육품앗이'조직의 중요성과 사회자본 형성 노력 또한 제기한다.
