  • In the face recognition technology, which has been studied a lot, the security of the face recognition technology is improved by receiving the depth data as a weak point for the 2D. In this paper, we expect the effect of cost reduction by enhancing the security of 2D by taking new features of eye flicker that each person possesses as new data information.

  • The major goal of this study is to develop an index that can evaluate the quality of the appropriate network in a series of projections that analyze, design, and then build a network. The existing software engineering and/or the methods of developing a system are limited. The process of defining the requirements in building a network, designing the system, and building the network focuses on arranging the methods of building a network. Based upon this, we tried to develop a necessary index to evaluate the security of a network.

  • The SSL(Secure Socket Layer) protocol is one of the mechanism widely used in the recent network system. The improved information security mechanism based on the SSL is designed in this paper. There are important four information security services. The first is the authentication service using the Certificate offered from the SSL(Secure Socket Layer), the second is the message confidentiality service using the DES encryption algorithm, the third is the message integrity service using Hash function, and the fourth is Non-repudiation service. Therefore, information could be transferred securely under the information security mechanism including Non-repudiation service especially designed in this paper.

  • Sustainable computing is a rapidly expanding field of research covering the fields of multidisciplinary engineering. With the rapid adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, issues such as security, privacy, efficiency, and green computing infrastructure are increasing day by day. To achieve a sustainable computing ecosystem for future smart cities, it is important to take into account their entire life cycle from design and manufacturing to recycling and disposal as well as their wider impact on humans and the places around them. The energy efficiency aspects of the computing system range from electronic circuits to applications for systems covering small IoT devices up to large data centers. This editorial focuses on the security, privacy, and efficiency of sustainable computing for future smart cities. This issue accepted 17 articles after a rigorous review process.

  • 본 고에서는 현재 X.509 인증서를 검증하기 위하여 온라인으로 인증서 상태정보를 제공하는 OCSP가 클라이언트.프로토콜.서버 주체별로 IETF 공개키기반구조 워킹그룹에서 정의한 총 23개의 DPD/DPV 프로토콜 요구기준에 적절히 부합하는지 고찰하고 도출된 기술적 보완사항을 적용하여 다양한 응용환경에 적합하며 신뢰성 있는 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 개선된 OC5P를 제시하고자 한다.

  • When most of existing instant messengers log on server, they transmit to sever in encoding password to RC5. but RC5 don't be secured because it has been known many of password cracking tools. Also, messengers don't have any protection on the transmitted information with communicating two hosts since loging on, endangering the privacy of the user. As a counter measure, messengers need to provide security service including message encryption. In this paper, we designed a key exchange method of password representing fast, effective and high security degree, using ECC(Elliptic Curve Cryptography) that being known the very stronger than another public key cryptography with same key size. To effectively improve data transmission and its security using IPSec protocol between users, tunnel mode is introduced. Tunnel mode transmits Host-to-Host data through virtual pipelines on the Internet.

  • DCU챗봇은 카카오 i 오픈빌더 API를 활용하여 24시간 어디서든 카카오톡이 설치된 스마트폰만 있다면 대구가톨릭대학교의 모든 정보를 얻을 수 있는 챗봇이다. 이 챗봇은, 카카오톡 채널을 통해 친구추가 후 이용 가능하며, Node.js와 카카오 i 오픈빌더 API를 통하여 대구가톨릭대학교의 학식, 스쿨버스, 학교 주변 버스정류장의 실시간 버스 도착 정보, 날씨 & 미세먼지, 학사일정, 교내 전화번호, 공지사항, 지도 등의 기능을 네이버와 기상청, 대구 시내버스 정보를 크롤링 후 가공하여 서비스를 제공한다.

  • 산업제어시스템에서 사용되는 소프트웨어의 보안취약점을 테스트하기 위한 방법으로 퍼징(Fuzzing)이 사용되고 있다. 퍼징 시스템은 크게 퍼징 대상을 테스트하는 퍼저(fuzzer)와 퍼징 대상을 모니터링하는 모니터링 모듈로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 VxWorks 환경에서 효과적인 퍼징을 제공하기 위해 요구되는 퍼징 대상 모니터링 기능을 정의하고 모니터링 모듈을 설계한다.

  • 현재까지 IDS는 관리자의 개입 없이는 효과적인 운용이 불가능하고, IDS를 사용하더라도 여전히 침입 발생 가능성이 있고, 다양한 우회 가능성이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 제안된 침입탐지 시스템을 분석하고, C-Box에 규정된 정책을 이용한 데이타소스 기반의 침입탐지 시스템을 설계하여 이를 실험하였다. 본 연구는 데이터 소스 기반에서 침입 탐지 방법 기준의 비정상적인 형태에 의한 탐지와 오류에 의한 탐지기법을 적용하였으며, IDS에 침입 탐지 정책을 설계하였고, 규정에 의한 정책중심의 침입탐지 기법을 정상적인 동작과 비정상적인 동작을 구분하는 경계를 정의한다. 또한, 침입탐지 정책을 이용한 호스트기반 IDS를 설계하고 구현함으로서 정보시스템의 취약성을 보완할 수 있었다. 침입탐지 실험을 위한 시스템 호출 기술은 커널에 프로세스들의 특성을 자세하게 정의하고, 이를 실행할 수 있도록 기반을 구축함으로서 가능하게 하였다.

  • In this paper we study the problem of implementation of security issues of blue tooth, especially secure simple pairing, with the help of an efficient four user authenticated key (4UAK) for an elliptic curve cryptography (ECC). This paper also deals with the design, implement and performance evaluation of secure simple pairing (SSP) using an elliptic curve cryptography, such as Diffie Hellman protocol when four users are involved. Here, we also compute the best, worst and average case step counts (time complexities). This work puts forth an efficient way of providing security in blue tooth. The time complexity of O(n4) is achieved using Rabin Miller Primality methodology. The method also reduces the calculation price and light communication loads.
