Purpose: We report mid to long - term results of meniscal transplantation and evaluate the important factors for successful outcomes. Materials and Methods: Between December 1999 and September 2002, 25 meniscal transplantations were performed using fresh frozen allograft. The lateral meniscus was transplanted in 19 cases and medial meniscus in 6 cases. The mean age was 34 years (range, 17~50 years) and the mean follow up was 54.8 months (range, 6~85 months). Preoperative measurements were made using a ruler graded in millimeters. Lateral meniscus was fixed by keyhole technique and medial meniscus was fixed by double bone plug technique with suturing the periphery of the meniscal transplant. All patients were evaluated with Knee Assessment Scoring System (KASS), Lysholm knee score, and Tegner activity scale for daily activity. Results: Symptoms improved in all cases. The average KASS score increased from 61.7 preoperatively to 83.8 postoperatively. The average Lysholm knee score increased from 77.7 preoperatively to 87.7 postoperatively (excellent in 3 cases, good in 17 cases, fair 4 cases, poor 1 case). But painful swellings were 3 cases, numbness in 1 case, and granuloma due to non-absorbable suture material in 1 case. Peroneal nerve palsy in 1 case was recovered after 6 weeks postoperatively. Conclusion: Meniscal allograft transplantation after subtotal or total menisectomy can significantly relieve pain and improve function of the knee joint. The exact preoperative sizing and secure fixation are essential for successful outcomes.
Mobile network environments are the environments where mobile devices are distributed invisible in our daily lives so that we can conventionally use mobile services at my time and place. The fact that we can work with mobile devices regardless of time and place, however, means that we are also in security threat of leaking or forging the information. In particular, without solving privacy concern, the mobile network environments which serve convenience to use, harmonized without daily lives, on the contrary, will cause a serious malfunction of establishing mobile network surveillance infrastructure. On the other hand, as the mobile devices with various sizes and figures, public key cryptography techniques requiring heavy computation are difficult to be applied to the computational constrained mobile devices. In this paper, we propose efficient PKI-based user authentication and java-based cryptography module for the privacy-preserving in mobile network environments. Proposed system is support a authentication and digital signature to minimize encrypting and decrypting operation by compounding session key and public key based on Korean standard cryptography algorithm(SEED, KCDSA, HAS160) and certificate in mobile network environment. Also, it has been found that session key distribution and user authentication is safety done on PDA.

Objectives : This study of oral health problems was conducted to 311 students in Special Schools in order to inquire into the state of their oral health behaviors, to find out the main obstacles against dental services, to secure dental reasonable basis for oral health promotion. Methods : A questionnaire survey was conducted in the Special School of the 311 students in the area of the metropolitan Seoul. By means of Chi-squared test and Fisher's exact test, oral hygiene habits for each type of the subjects, the contents of dental care services, the prerequisites to improve oral health, were inquired. To evaluate the effects to the current oral health status of types of disability, 2-way ANOVA was practiced. Results : The handicapped with Visual impairment, mental retardation, multiplicity with disabilities, answered negatively in their own oral health status. 47.4% of the deaf can do brush for theirselves without the inconvenience, but in other types of disability they showed that they were helped by others. Subjects did not use the secondary oral hygiene necessaries because, except brain damage, almost of types of disability impeded the convenient use. 60 to 88.2 percent of the total respondents were the recent visitors to dental clinique within 1 year, and the most common motives of the visiting dentist, is a routine medical examination, their movements to the dentist in all types of disabilities, needed helps of others. Most of them received medical treatment at a private dentist, the handicapped preferred the private care and place(49.8%). Only in the case of the brain disorders, extremely much of the disabled answered that they were needed the preventive treatment, and the another cases of disability were largely needed the treatment of the decayed teeth. To improve the oral health of the people with disabilities, at the opening of the clinics and hospitals over a certain size, the mandatory medical facilities for the care of the disabled should be preceded and followed by the improvement of dental insurance system so as to reduce the burdens of the cost of dental care. Conclusions : The improvement of oral health policy for the disabled are needed inevitably: Development of secondary oral hygienic easy to use for the disabled, the building systems of medical dental hospital with the disabled facilities, by the improvement of the insurance system, the reduction of the burden of payments.
Over the years(1971 to 1987), only 20 Korean film production companies had been granted the exclusive rights to make Korean films in Korea and to import foreign films with a quota system. They had been making trashy Korean movies to secure import quotas of foreign films. Newcomer's entry of market had also been limited and the growth of Korean films through innovation had been hampered. In the same period, The annual number of Rookie director is 10, the portion of debut films of all Korean films is 10.62%, and the audience portion of debut is only 10.5% of Korean movie audience. From 2004 to 2016, total number of rookie directors is 874, and 61.72% of 1,416 directors who made his debut over the 46 years from 1971 to 2016. This is far more than the number of directors who debuted for the last 32 years. From 2004 to 2016, the annual number of rookie directors is 62.15 and their debut film occupies 39.58% of the total amount of Korean movies released and 32.8% of the audience number. Since the full opening of the domestic market to foreign films industries in 1988, the liberalization of independent film production in 1999, as a result of innovation of a competitive system, the Korean movies have been loved by audiences. However, there are concerns that the decline of the screen quota in 2006, the monopoly of the 4 major distributors, increase in indie movies and Semi-adult movies for VOD, could be the potential threat for future innovation in Korean cinema.

Recently, it is expected to significantly increase the defense budget by acquiring large-scale weapons systems to enhance defensive capabilities. In order to secure funds needed to acquire such weapons systems, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of the defense budget. In addition, interest in economic factors affecting the domestic economy such as export opportunities and employment creation are increasing, as well as budget reduction of the defense acquisition business. In order to respond to these demands, this study conducted cost- benefit analysis and examined economic ripple effects in the implementation of defense procurement projects. However, research on economic analysis methodology considering characteristics of defense acquisition projects is still in its early stage. This study proposes a methodology to analyze the economic feasibility of defense acquisition projects and conducted a case study on the economic feasibility of the ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ guided missile project which is being prepared against local provocation. The proposed economic analysis method provides the cost-effectiveness analysis that has been performed in many weapon system acquisition projects in connection with the more general cost-benefit analysis method. This study contributes to the establishment of an improved theoretical methodology for weapon system acquisition projects.
Recently, the number of pet-owning households drastically increased and many people took their pets as lifelong companion animals and look after them like their children. Pet business has continued to increase gradually and the need for pet supplies has increased, too. Though there are a variety of pet supplies in pet dog market which takes up many parts in the pet market, there is no design guideline on pet supplies. Thus, there are many wrong pet supplies design created by wrong idea of people. Therefore, this study aims to suggest the guideline on pet supplies design focusing on the pet-monitoring system among the various pet products. So, the pet-monitoring robot was designed to monitor pet simply using smartphone anywhere on the trip and feed by using bowl that control the signal. This study figured out types and function of existing IP camera, reflected the behavior and physical characteristics of pets and suggested the design guideline which is minimum required as pet-monitoring products. Also, trial product for which design guide was applied was produced to observe the pet behavior and identify problems while operating trial product. However, there was limit in securing data and study period to examine the satisfaction of various pets since the subject of this study was dog and it's required to conduct follow-up study by observing continuously and improving the problems in future to secure more data.

This study aims to analyze the causes of conflict between street performing subjects and identify methods to induce their collaboration in promoting a creative city. This study proposes preventive mechanisms after identifying potential problems in performances on the streets of Jeju, which aims to become "the island of culture and art". To this aim, the type and relationship between the subjects of conflict, characters of conflict, solutions, extent and role of tolerance, responses of the subjects, and type of conflict management employed were examined and analyzed. We employed an in-depth interview method involving cases of conflict occurring during street performances in Jeju. were categorized into 6 types. First is conflict resulting from the lack of facilities. Second is conflict caused by non-designated performance venues. Third is conflict due to exclusive ambiance. Fourth is conflict resulting from direct engagement by neighboring residents. Fifth is conflict between residents and police during performances. Sixth is conflict by lack of definite relationship with relevant institutes. To systematically resolve these conflicts, we propose the following management methods: (1) behavioral approach of pretraining through a registration system; (2) establishment of busking zones and allocation after registration; (3) training of facilitators to manage street performances and extended roles; (4) establishment of standards for street performances through the systematic approach of ordinance; (5) training to secure tolerance of residents; and (6) simplification of deliberation process by building a collaborative system among institutes.

In this study, we compared and analyzed the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Trade Specialization Index (TSI) based on ballast water management systems (BWMS) trade data, which are related to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Ballast Water Management Convention to suggest the current status of Korea's industrial competitiveness and suggest future development directions for the BWMS industry. As international interest in eco-friendly vessels is expanding, the IMO is engaged in dramatic discussions and agreement-making related to marine emissions of pollutants from ships. IMO member states that must implement this convention are striving to develop technology and secure industrial competitiveness as major industries in the eco-friendly shipping sector, with the BWMS industry experiencing a high market entry barrier and the possibility of the leading market entrants gaining leadership. The Republic of Korea accounts for 17 (approximately 38 %) of the 45 BWMS that received final approval as of October 2019. Based on trade data relating to product codes HS842219, HS84212, and HS89, the RCA index and TSI were calculated and compared. The findings revealed that the Republic of Korea has relative inferiority compared to countries such as Germany and Denmark. Despite this, Korea's favorable industrial environment, which includes several IMO-approved BWMS technologies and the possession of domestic certification institutions, is likely to strengthen its competitiveness in the BWMS market.

It is important to design tunnel support system considering the various loads acting on the tunnel because they have a direct impact on the stability of tunnels. In Korea, standardized support patterns are defined based on the rock mass classification system depending on the project, and it is stated that it should be modified appropriately considering the behavior of tunnel during construction. In this study, the tunnel support pattern optimization method is suggested based on the convergence-confinement method, earth pressure, axial force of rock bolt, and moment acting on the shotcrete. The length and spacing of the rock bolts and the thickness of the shotcrete were optimized by using the differential evolution algorithm (DEA) and the results were compared to the standard support pattern III for railway tunnel. Rock bolt length can be reduced and the installation interval can be widened for shallow tunnel. As the depth of tunnel increases, the thickness of shotcrete increases linearly. Therefore, the thickness of shotcrete should be thicker than the standard support pattern as the depth of tunnel increases to secure the stability of tunnel.
