자율주행 탑승용 옴니 드라이브 라이더 로봇 개발에 대한 장애인과 고령자의 욕구조사 (A Survey Study on the development of Omni-Wheel Drive Rider Robot with autonomous driving systems for Disabled People and Senior Citizens)

  • 본 연구는 장애인 그리고 비장애인이 사용할 수 있는 미래형 전동스쿠터인 자율주행 탑승용 옴니 드라이브 라이더 로봇의 정보을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 그러므로 자율주행 탑승용 옴니 드라이브 로봇 개발을 하기 앞서 49명의 장애인과 고령자의 욕구 조사의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전동스쿠터의 승하차 불편사항과 밧데리 충전문제 등의 불만족한 이유로 가장 시급히 해결해야 할 문제로 나타났다. 이를 위해 본 연구개발 시 고려되어야할 사항으로 밧데리 충전시간과 거리, 팔 받침대, 발 받침대, 시트각도 등이 요소가 개선되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 인도, 차도, 경사도, 보도블럭 등과 같은 도로환경에 주행안전에 위험을 느끼고 있으며, 이를 위해 편의기능으로 조이스틱 핸들형, 네비게이션 기능, 장애물 회피기능, 옴니 드라이브 휠, 우천 시 사용할 수 있는 자동 오픈형 덮개 등 본 연구개발과 관련한 여러 요소를 포함하여 장애인과 고령자에 맞는 설계 방안을 제안하였다.

서울 경기 지역 교사의 건강행동과 건강상태 (School Teachers' Health Behaviors and Health Status in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do)

  • Objectives: Few studies have focused on health behaviors and health status among teachers even though these are one of principles and values of WHO's Health Promoting Schools. In this study, we described health behaviors and health status among teachers and explored the differences of these by personal and school characteristics. Methods: A stratified and random cluster sampling design was used to obtain a cross-sectional sample. A total of 59 elementary, middle and high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas were included in which 333 teachers (males 40.6%, females 59.4%) participated in this survey. Chi-square tests were conducted with SPSS 17.1. Results: Overall, health behaviors and health status among teachers were better than the general public according to Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Male and middle/high school teachers had higher prevalence of alcohol dependence and of driving under the influence of alcohol. Also, their rate of wearing seat belts were lower compare to female. In other hand, female, health and nutrition teachers, rural school teachers had lower prevalence of meeting recommended levels of physical activity. Underweight were more prevalent to them in contrast to male with higher prevalence of obesity. In addition, teachers of health promoting schools were not likely to ride on a car with a drunk driver. They also have a lower prevalence of skipping breakfast and have higher positive perception of health for themselves. Conclusion: Teachers' health should be given higher concerns as a key component of school based health promotion. Gender and age specific programs should be considered to develop health promoting programs for them.

경험적 감성 측정 방법의 제품 디자인 적용성에 관한 연구 -해변 벤치 이용자 대상의 자기-보고법을 중심으로- (Research on the Applicability of Experientially Emotional Measurement Method in Product Design - Centred on Self-report Taking Seaside Seat Users-)

  • 현재 수많은 새로운 기술과 재품을 급속히 발전하는 시대에서 제품과 사용자의 감성 커뮤니케이션이 중요한 연구 과제가 되었다. 하지만 제품 디자인 분야에서 사용자 감성 측정 방법의 활용도가 낮다고 볼 수 있다. 또한, 해변공간은 사람들이 도시 레저문화생활에서 감성적 즐거움을 높여주는 매우 중요한 공간으로 인간, 경관, 환경시설 간의 감각적 정보의 소통이 빈번히 이루어진다. 본 논문은 경험적 감성 측정 방법이 제품 디자인에 적용성 및 장단점을 도출하기 위해 해운대 해변 벤치 이용자를 대상으로 경험적 감성 측정법인 자기-보고법(self-report)을 실행하였다. 해변 벤치 이용자 감성을 측정하여 영향을 미치는 요인 및 영향력을 알아보기 위해 자기-보고법 실험은 사전 조사와 본조사 2단계로 구성하며 가설을 설정하여 SPSS를 통하여 단순, 다중회귀분석 분석을 진행하였다. 자기-보고법 실험을 통해 경험적 감성 측정 방법이 제품 디자인에서의 적용성 및 "경제적이며 특별한 장비가 없어도 광범위한 감성 측정이 가능하다", "자신의 감성을 제대로 인식하지 못하거나 의도적으로 감성을 숨길 가능성이 높다" 등 장단점을 도출하였다. 향후 본 연구에서 도출된 경험적 감성 측정 방법이 제품 디자인에 적용성 및 장단점을 기반으로 제품 디자인에 적용하는 감성 측정 방법 개발의 기초자료로 기대된다.

일반인의 미병 인식 변화 양상과 관리방안 조사 (A study on pattern of changes of Mibyeong recognition, prevalence and its management plan in Korean public : national survey)

  • Objectives : The purposes of this study were to investigate the recognition of Mibyeong, symptom, management plan and correlation between quality of life and health condition, and to suggest a plan for managing Mibyeong status. Methods : Participants were recruited based on the same sampling methods used on the previous study performed in 2013 based on area, gender and age. Questionnaires were collected by Gallup Korea professional surveyor through face-to-face interviews. The questionnaires contain questions about the recognition of Mibyeong, symptom, management plan and the quality of life in accordance with the relevant health conditions. Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis and the results were expressed as percentage ratios (%). Results : 1,100 of people were acquired in 2015. The responses for "First time to hear of Mibyeong" have shown that the percentage were reduced from 80% to 67% compared with 2013 data. The ratio of Mibyeong's symptoms in 2015 were similar to 2013. we suggested some ways to deal with the Mibyeong status including behavior adjustment (non smoking, non alcohol, control sleep pattern), herbal tea, health functional food, exercise, preventive health care (qi-gong, yoga), meditation, home health care medical device (hot-pack, seat device for fumigation, massager), and medical service (hospital, medical clinic oriental medical clinic). Almost people showed that positive opinion with them. There were significant correlation between quality of life with the health status rather than Mibyeong or disease group. Conclusions : This study was performed through scientific questionnaires collected in 2013 and 2015 to investigate people's understanding of Mibyeong as a present condition in Korean public. Some questions had significantly different responds between both years while others showed similar trends for both years. These results suggest that the concept of Mibyeong in oriental medicine could provide a management mechanisms that help people to manage the Mibyeong status.

타이트 핏 여성 스포츠 상의 제품 생산현황조사 (Survey of the Present Situation of the Production of Tight Fit Women's Sportswear Top Products)

  • This study investigated the current production of women's sportswear tights among a total of 813 yoga, gym and training tights on the market to provide basic data for the development of women's sportswear tight tops. The results found the following: First, according to the analysis of women's sportswear tight tops by brand, polyester, nylon and polyurethane were most used. In addition, elastic, breathable and quick-dry, sweat absorbent products were commonly found. In terms of design, crew neck and sleeveless styles were popular. In addition, mesh was frequently applied to the top of the chest and upper part of the back. The size was mostly marked in S, M and L, and the size range was very large by brand. For color, achromatic color was most common. In terms of price, 'KRW 50,000-100,000' was frequently found. Second, yoga tights were compared to gym & training wear. In the case of yoga tights, elastic, various products in diverse design (e.g., crew neck, sleeveless, long sleeve, etc.) and colors (e.g., red, black, etc.) made of breathable and water-absorbing fabric were most produced. In particular, a combination of mesh materials was common. In gym and training wear, crew neck and short-sleeve styles in achromatic color made of elastic, breathable and quick-dry, seat absorbing fabric were most produced.

Use of child safety seats during transportation of newborns

  • Purpose: Child safety seats (CSS) are critical for the protection of children, in case of motor vehicle accidents. Although the national legislation mandates that all newborns must be placed in an appropriately installed CSS during transportation, people often do not perceive the importance of CSS and do not use it as recommended. The purpose of this survey was to understand the use of CSS for the safe transport of newborns from hospital to home. Methods: We interviewed parents of newborn infants, using a structured questionnaire, at the time of their discharge from Cheil General Hospital & Women's Health Care Center, between May 2014 and July 2014. Results: A total of 403 participants were interviewed. The rate of CSS use was only 14.9%. Overall, 76.4% of the families interviewed were not aware about the recommendations on CSS use for newborns when travelling in a car. The provision of education on using CSS significantly influenced their rate of use. Parents who were educated about mounting the CSS in a car used it more as compared with others (25.7% vs. 12.2%) (P=0.002). Furthermore, if parents had heard about the importance or necessity of CSS, they used it more than others did (19.5% vs. 10.6%, P=0.032). Conclusion: Despite the legal regulation, most parents transport their newborn infants without a CSS while traveling from hospital to their home. The rate of CSS use was influenced by parental education and their knowledge about its necessity. Education programs for parents must be reinforced to increase the CSS use.

Kano 모델을 이용한 자동차 시트 조절기능에 대한 고객인식 연구 (Evaluating Customer Perceptions of Car Seats' Functions Using the Kano Model)

  • Purpose: Car seats affect customer satisfaction greatly when the seats' design is changed because car holders are in close contact with the seats. However, the improvement of the current seats' design involves risks such as investment cost, and therefore it needs strategic operating measures from the perspective of customers. Until now, operations of seats' specification have been decided by technical-push rather than market-pull, and carried out based on professionals' experience without measuring customer satisfaction correctly. The purpose of this study is to present a systematic approach to measure customers' perception on the car seats using the Kano model and pairwise comparison technique. Methods: The authors derive 17 major functions of a car seat by analyzing major components of car seats, and conduct a survey of 141 adults who hold a car(s). Results: The results show that consumers perceive the adjustable functions of front seats as must-be while the same functions for rear seats are perceived as attractive. In particular, motor operated functions for both front and rear seats increase customer satisfaction greatly if they are presented. Conclusion: This study shows that how much customer (dis)satisfaction will increase if a function of car seats (non)fulfilled, and therefore, the results of this study will provide practitioners and R&D personnel in new automobile seats development projects with useful information.

3D입체영화관객의 만족에 영향을 미치는 영화적 요인 (Movie Factors Affecting Satisfaction of 3D Stereoscopic Movie Audiences)

  • 본 연구는 3D입체영화 관객의 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 도출하고, 이를 바탕으로 3D입체영화 관객의 관람만족도를 증가시키는 방안을 모색하여 3D입체영화 산업의 발전전략을 제시함을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 분석한 결과, 영화 관객의 만족에 영향을 주는 요인들은 크게 영화 내부적 요소, 영화 환경적 요소, 영화 관객요소로 나뉘며, 그 중 영화 내부적 요소의 영향력이 나머지 둘에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 3D입체영화는 기존의 영화와 촬영, 상영, 관람방식, 인지과정 등 영화 환경적 요소와 영화 관객요소에 해당하는 부분에서 큰 차이점을 보이므로 3D입체영화에서는 영화 환경적 요소와 영화 관객요소의 영향력이 높을 것으로 예상되었다. 이에 본 연구는 3D입체영화 관객을 대상으로 관람만족에 대한 설문을 실시하였으며 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각적 피로감 개선 방안의 필요성이 대두된다. 둘째, 영화관 구조와 좌석배치에 대한 개선이 요구된다. 셋째, 관객의 입장에서 납득할 수 있는 3D입체영화 가격수준을 책정해야한다.

Evaluation on Low-floor Bus Package Layout from the Perspective of Universal Design

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to suggest a package layout guideline for low-floor bus by interview with passengers and observations of their behavior. Background: Increasing attention has been introduced the low-floor bus to be more suitable for use by transportation handicapped. Complex issues are involved in providing comfortable services to all people. We are going to suggest package layout guidelines for more comfortable and suitable travel to all people. Method: The two times of survey and video observation sessions were conducted on low-floor buses in Seoul; (1) a finding of potential issues in the first session, (2) a confirming of issues from the last session. Results: The three of major issues were founded in this study; (1) difficulties in supporting body when standing, (2) difficulties in sitting on front wheel pan seat, (3) difficulties in passing through the aisle. Conclusion: There were clear differences between public and transportation handicapped in using some tools which are used for support body such as roof hand rails, side hand rails, and hand rail rings. Some of design problems were founded to improve from the perspective of ergonomics and universal design. Such differences and design guidelines have to be considered in bus design as well as commercial vehicle. Application: The proposed design guidelines can be used to development of low-floor bus and other public transportations.

차량 조건 변화에 따른 승차 만족도 및 동작분석에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Satisfaction and a Motion analysis when Entering a Car through Change of Vehicle Conditions)

  • As national income increases, consumers began to place a great deal of weight on products or quality of their life. They would like to have products which are more convenient to use and could meet their emotional desire in addition to its basic functional requirements. An automobile is one of the transportation system for human beings and the factor such as safety or environmentaly-friendly is regarded as important things resulting from it's popularization. In fact, domestic design technology leaves much to be desired compared with excellent manufacturing techniques. For this reason, some problems, like lowering of usage, could be caused by introducing technological data as it is from overseas. A survey of domestic car users has found that the most preferred condition (step height) is 460~495cm when they get in and out of their car. Men use their visual information and then get in the car, taking motion fit for each condition when automobile condition is changed. In other words, men get in cars actively within the range of conditions used for this study. These results were found from a motion study, when getting in a car, and checking the possibility of getting injury in accordance with the change of condition as well.
