지능형 AC서보 제어드라이버의 개발

  • In this paper, we designed the adaptive fuzzy controller(AFLC) using neural network and tabu search. We tuned the weights of neural network changing adaptively input/output gain of fuzzy logic controller and the gain of fuzzy logic controller using tabu search. To evaluate the proposed method's effectiveness, we apply the proposed AFLC to the speed control of an actual AC servomotor system. The experimental results show that AFLC has the better control performance than PI controller in terms of settling time, rising time and overshoot.

  • 직접구동형 서보밸브의 제어시스템은 비선형적이며 밸브스풀에 미치는 유체력의 영향은 매우 크고 부하압력의 크기에 좌우된다. 제어시스템의 설계요구조건을 만족시키기 위해, 제약직접탐색방법인 유전자 알고리즘과 콤플렉스법을 적절히 활용하여 진상-지상제어기 및 미분피드백제어기의 최적 상수값을 탐색하였다. 최적 제어기 상수값을 대입하여 제어시스템을 시뮬레이션한 결과 설계요구조건을 만족하였다.

Design of a decoupled PID controller via MOCS for seismic control of smart structures

  • In this paper, a decoupled proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control approach for seismic control of smart structures is presented. First, the state space equation of a structure is transformed into modal coordinates and parameters of the modal PID control are separately designed in a reduced modal space. Then, the feedback gain matrix of the controller is obtained based on the contribution of modal responses to the structural responses. The performance of the controller is investigated to adjust control force of piezoelectric friction dampers (PFDs) in a benchmark base isolated building. In order to tune the modal feedback gain of the controller, a suitable trade-off among the conflicting objectives, i.e., the reduction of maximum modal base displacement and the maximum modal floor acceleration of the smart base isolated structure, as well as the maximum modal control force, is created using a multi-objective cuckoo search (MOCS) algorithm. In terms of reduction of maximum base displacement and story acceleration, numerical simulations show that the proposed method performs better than other reported controllers in the literature. Moreover, simulation results show that the PFDs are able to efficiently dissipate the input excitation energy and reduce the damage energy of the structure. Overall, the proposed control strategy provides a simple strategy to tune the control forces and reduces the number of sensors of the control system to the number of controlled stories.

적응진화 알고리즘을 사용한 DC 모터 퍼지 제어기 설계에 관한 연구 (Design of a Fuzzy Logic Controller Using an Adaptive Evolutionary Algorithm for DC Series Motors)

  • 본 논문에서는 적응진화알고리즘을 사용한 퍼지 제어기의 설계방법을 제안하였다. 적응진화알고리즘은 전역탐색특성이 우수한 유전알고리즘과 다음세대를 포함하는 해집단에 대해 적응적으로 우수한 국부탐색특성을 가진 진화전략을 사용한다. 재교배 과정에서 유전알고리즘과 진화전략을 위한 해집단의 분배는 적합도에 따라서 적응적으로 결정된다. 적응진화알고리즘은 퍼지제어기의 설계 파라메터인 퍼지변수에 대한 소속함수와 스케일 요소를 결정하는데 사용된다. 제기된 퍼지제어기의 성능을 평가하기 위해서 비선형 특성을 가진 실제 DC 모터 속도제어 시스템을 구성하여 실험하였으며, 실험결과 PD제어기의 경우보다 우수한 속도 제어성능을 가짐을 확인하였다.

  • Designing fuzzy controller, there are difficulties that we have to determine fuzzy rules and shapes of membership functions which are usually obtained by the amount of trial-and-error or experiences from the experts. In this paper, to overcome these defects, genetic algorithms which is probabilistic search method based on genetics and evolution theory are used to determine fuzzy rules and fuzzy membership functions. We design a series compensation fuzzy controller, then determine basic structures, input-output variables, fuzzy inference methods and defuzzification methods for fuzzy controllers. We develop genetic algorithms which may search more accurate optimal solutions. For evaluating the fuzzy controller performances through experiments upon an actual system, we design the fuzzy controllers for the speed control of a DC series motor with nonlinear characteristics and show good output responses to reference inputs.

  • The conventional PID controller has been widely used in many industrial control systems although modern control theory has been remarkably developed recently. Because engineer can easily understand how to deal with the PID controller which consists of three parameters. This PID control method, however. has a tendency to depend on experience. Genetic Algorithm can search the control parameters according to systematic procedure in a selected plant. In this paper the real coded genetic algorithm is used to search proper values of the PID controller parameters for marine diesel engine. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

  • Direct drive servovalve(DDV) is a kind of one-stage valve since the rotary motion of DC motor is directly transferred to the linear motion of valve spool through the link. Since the structure of DDV is simple, it is less expensive, more reliable and offers reduced internal leakage and reduced sensitivity to fluid contamination. However, the flow force effect on the spool motion is significant such that it induces large steady-state error in a step response. If the proportional control gain is increased to reduce the steady-state error, the system becomes unstable. In order to satisfy the system design requirements, the lead-lag controller is designed using the complex method that is one kind of constrained direct search method.

SA-selection-based Genetic Algorithm for the Design of Fuzzy Controller

  • This paper presents a new stochastic approach for solving combinatorial optimization problems by using a new selection method, i.e. SA-selection, in genetic algorithm (GA). This approach combines GA with simulated annealing (SA) to improve the performance of GA. GA and SA have complementary strengths and weaknesses. While GA explores the search space by means of population of search points, it suffers from poor convergence properties. SA, by contrast, has good convergence properties, but it cannot explore the search space by means of population. However, SA does employ a completely local selection strategy where the current candidate and the new modification are evaluated and compared. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the optimization of a fuzzy controller for balancing an inverted pendulum on a cart is considered.

회전형 역 진자 시스템에 대한 계층적 공정 경쟁 기반 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 최적 Fuzzy 제어기 설계 (Design of Optimized Fuzzy Controller by Means of HFC-based Genetic Algorithms for Rotary Inverted Pendulum System)

  • 본 논문은 회전형 역 진자 시스템(Rotary Inverted Pendulum System : RIPS)에 대한 계층적 공정 경쟁 기반 유전자 알고리즘(Hierarchical Fair Competition-based Genetic Algorithms : HFCGA) 기반 최적 퍼지 제어기 설계를 제안한다. 회전형 역 진자 시스템의 제어를 위해 퍼지제어기를 사용하였으며, 이때 퍼지제어기의 규칙은 LQR(Linear Quadratic Regulator) 제어기를 기반으로 하여 설계하였다. 유전자 알고리즘은 전역해를 구할 수 있는 장점이 있어 많은 분야에 성공적으로 적용되고 있지만 조기수렴 문제로 인하여 지역해에 빠질 수 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 병렬유전자 알고리즘이 개발되었으며, HFCGA는 병렬유전자 알고리즘을 개선한 방법 중의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지 제어기의 파라미터의 최적화를 위해 계층적 공정 경쟁 기반 유전자 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통하여 LQR 제어기, 기존 단순유전자 알고리즘(SGA)을 이용한 퍼지제어기와 제안된 HFCGA 기반 퍼지제어기의 성능 비교를 통하여 제안된 방법의 우수성을 보인다.
