The purpose of this study was to determine what effect reflection on clinical practice experience had students as learners and care providers. Qualitative research method was used to study a group of four-year undergraduate nursing course. Content analysis was done using the classification method of Carper's four patterns of knowing. Results of the study indicated that the use of the reflective process of clinical debriefing and journaling was impact on the aspect of nursing science, moral component of knowledge in nursing, personal knowing in nursing and the art of nursing. Especially, students moved from a passive to a more active mode of learning. The most significant finding was that over time, reflective processes resulted in the emergence of the client as the central focus of care. It was suggested that reflection was an important learning tool in professional education and that the skills required for reflection need to be developed in professional courses.
Objectives : This study was to investigate the experience rate and factors related with Low Back Pain(LBP). Methods : Questionnaires were completed by 236 dental hygienists in Taegu city and Kyungpook province in June 23-27, 1999. The solicited information was used to estimate odds ration and $95\%$ confidence intervals for the LBP related factors association. Results : The experience rate of LBP was $78\%$. The experience rate of LBP was significantly associated with scaling posture(odds ratio=2.228)(p=0.0371) and stress with dentist(odds ratio=2.767) (p=0.0136). Conclusions : Data from this study support a statistically significant association between LBP and some factors found in other research to increase the relation with LBP. Study findings may have implications for targeting at dental hygienists for scaling posture education or intervention program.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the experience process of adolescents with hematologic malignancies. The question for the study was "What is the experience of adolescents with hematologic malignancies like?" Methods: The grounded theory methodology was used for this study. The data were collected through in-depth interview from 10 adolescents with hematologic malignancies. Data collection was done from January to June 2007. Theoretical sampling was used until the data reached saturation. Results: As a result of the analysis, "Reconstructing self-image from deviated and suspended life" was identified as the core category. And 11 subcategories were identified and they were integrated to the core category. 'Establishment of expanded and matured self' was identified as the consequence. Conclusion: The results of the study provide a frame for effective individualized nursing intervention strategies in helping adjustment of the adolescents with hematologic malignancies.

Questionnaire was held with targeting to the persons who engage in the foodservice industry, especially restaurants located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Factor analysis, regression analysis, t-analysis and dispersion analysis were carried out as the methodology of this study to analyze the relation with the Big Five Theory of Personality, which includes agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion, openness to experience, and neuroticism and job preference. As a result, conscientiousness, openness to experience and neuroticism were founded as the meaningful factors of effect on the job preference. The demographic characteristics of a leader are important for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several researchers have proven that demographic characteristics affect business success. Unfortunately, business success has only been analyzed from a financial perspective and has not been compared to the owner's interests perspective. This study examines business success from both perspectives. This study aims to analyze the demographic characteristics of small entrepreneurs and their impact on business success. Demographics consist of age, experience, education, and gender. Meanwhile, business success is seen from two perspectives: financial performance and the owner's interest. The study used an explanatory survey method. The number of samples is 155 entrepreneurs who are also the leaders of their businesses. The research was conducted in Bandung City, Indonesia, in 2021. The data was processed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression. The study results found that age only affects financial performance. Experience is proven to affect financial performance and the interests of the owner. Gender only affects the interests of the owner. This study concludes that in difficult times such as the COVID-19 pandemic, having young leaders who are experienced will make it easier to achieve business success.

The advent of the Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) paradigm allows mobile users to offload resource-intensive and delay-stringent services to nearby servers, thereby significantly enhancing the quality of experience. Due to erratic roaming of mobile users in the network environment, maintaining maximum quality of experience becomes challenging as they move farther away from the serving edge server, particularly due to the increased latency resulting from the extended distance. The services could be migrated, under policies obtained using Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) techniques, to an optimal edge server, however, this operation incurs significant costs in terms of service downtime, thereby adversely affecting service quality of experience. Thus, this study addresses the service mobility problem of deciding whether to migrate and where to migrate the service instance for maximized migration benefits and marginal service downtime.
Purpose: This study was done to investigate nursing students' knowledge on children's pain. Methods: The subjects were 389 nursing students in a university and a college. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 14.0 program. Results: Nursing students' knowledge on children's pain were generally low. Knowledge on analgesics was ranked the lowest. The levels of knowledge on children's pain of the students were different by gender, grade, academic achievement, the learning experience on pain, and the experience with chronic pain. Conclusion: The results of this study suggests that nursing students do not know children's pain thoroughly, and general characteristics and learning experience of the students make an effect on the knowledge. Therefore, the education programs on children's pain are needed to improve the knowledge of nursing students.
In this study, four gifted students in the second year of middle school at Gifted Education Center of the National University in Jeollanam-do were surveyed students' perceptions of the effectiveness of science class using science writing heuristic in terms of metacognition and the goals of the 2015 revised science curriculum. Through questionnaires and interviews with gifted science students, science gifted students recognized that the science class using science writing heuristic had a positive effect on the four subdomains (planning, monitoring, control, and evaluation) of metacognition. For this reason, the science gifted students presented self-directed experience in designing experiments, continually checking the collected experimental data, feedback process, and reflecting experience in preparing conclusions. Science gifted students recognized that science class using science writing heuristic had a positive effect on the goals of the 2015 revised science curriculum(attitudes, inquiry, knowledge, Science·Technology·Society(STS), and the enjoyment and usefulness of science learning) that correspond to through inquiry science writing lessons. For this reason, the science gifted students presented self-directed inquiry experiences, continual inquiry experiences on the same subject, thinking process at each stage of inquiry, learning experiences through inquiry, experience of the whole inquiry process, and inquiry of phenomena closely related to real life. Therefore, for the effective science class, it is necessary to apply the characteristics of science class using science writing heuristic which is responded by science gifted students to general science class as well as science gifted class later.

Purpose: With the increasing opportunities for students to transfer into nursing from other departments or after graduation, it is important to examine how these students adapt to clinical work in the hospital setting after graduation. This study was done to describe the adaptation experience of older graduate nurses in hospital settings and to understand the meanings and search the nature of their experience. Method: For this study, the participants were 6 nurses who entered nursing after having graduated from college or university in another field. The data were collected through in-depth interviews from March to April 2007 and analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Results: The essential themes of the adaptation experience for older graduate nurses were the following 6 categories: taking responsibilities for the expected role according to one's age, following the rules of senior-junior hierarchy, being ambivalent about one's older age, expanding one's support system, getting rid of the concept of age difference and establishing the expected position appropriate for one's career. Conclusion: For older graduate nurses, interpersonal relationship factors were more important than work related factors. Therefore, it is important to create a more flexible nursing culture to ease the adaptation of these older graduate nurses.
