A study on development of the intelligent production status boards using Smart TV (스마트TV를 활용한 지능형 생산현황판 개발에 관한 연구)

  • A Smart TV device is either a television set with integrated internet capabilities or a set-top box for television that offers more advanced computing ability and connectivity than a contemporary basic television set. In recent years, there has been a popularity rose up on Smart TV (Smart Television) usage at home. This paper present the intelligent production status boards using features and functions of smart TV in shop floor. With the proposed status boards, we can reduce installation and operating costs of the existing production status boards. In addition, This article present the system that can line monitoring without equipments as CC TV.

  • All the while due to the adoption of different TV broadcasting standards by South and North Korea, difficulties may ensue when promoting media exchange or media liberalization. Among the many media areas this paper compared the ground-wave TV broadcasting and digital TV broadcasting environments of South and North Korea, and analyzed the rapidly developing field of digital TV broadcasting technology. Afterwards, this paper offers several measures to resolve the difference in the South and North broadcasting standards. Through this paper, there is hope for joint development of South and North TV broadcasting technologies.

A Personalized Automatic TV Program Scheduler using Sequential Pattern Mining (순차 패턴 마이닝 기법을 이용한 개인 맞춤형 TV 프로그램 스케줄러)

  • With advent of TV environment and increasing of variety of program contents, users are able to experience more various and complex environment for watching TV contents. According to the change of content watching environment, users have to make more efforts to choose his/her interested TV program contents or TV channels than before. Also, the users usually watch the TV program contents with their own regular way. So, in this paper, we suggests personalized TV program schedule recommendation system based on the analyzing users' TV watching history data. And we extract the users' watched program patterns using the sequential pattern mining method. Also, we proposed a new sequential pattern mining which is suitable for TV watching environment and verify our proposed method have better performance than existing sequential pattern mining method in our application area. In the future, we will consider a VoD characteristic for extending to IPTV program schedule recommendation system.

  • TV has evolved into thin and wide shaped due to the huge sales of LCD. And it makes many houses own large TV easily. After that TV technology focuses on large and high-definition screen. Recently majority of TV market is that of smart TV which is equipped with internet and GPOS(General Purpose Operating System) so people can install several applications on TV. Yet smart TV's remote controllers are not suitable for several applications. Especially there is no way to provide people with sufficient interactivity with game contents of TV. In this paper, we proposed new methodology for interworking between smart TV and smart device to enhance interactivity of smart TV platform game.

  • 최근 스마트폰, 태블릿 PC와 같은 모바일 스마트 디바이스(mobile smart devices)와 더불어 스마트 TV에 대한 관심이 크게 증가하면서 사용자들의 컨텐츠와 기능에 대한 요구 또한 다양해지고 있다. 스마트 TV가 컨텐츠와 기능적 측면에서 사용자의 편의와 재미, 그리고 유익함을 동시에 만족시키기 위해서는 더욱 지능화된 기능을 탑재할 필요가 있다. 일반적으로 남녀에 따라 TV를 시청하는 경향이 다르기 때문에 현재 TV를 시청하는 사용자의 성별분류(gender classification)를 통해 성별에 따른 따른 채널이나 광고, 응용 프로그램을 달리 제공하는 성별 기반의 스마트 TV 응용을 개발할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 TV 응용에 적합한 BGOLAM 기반의 성별분류 방법에 대해 제안하고, 실험을 통해 제안하는 방법의 적절성을 보인다.

  • TV-Anytime은 국제 표준으로 자리잡아가고 있는 차세대 디지털 방송용 메타데이터로서 사용자가 직접 원하는 방송을 검색하고 선택하여, 선택한 멀티미디어 데이터를 저장하였다가 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 사용할 수 있도록 하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. TV-Anytime은 XML 스키마로 정의되어 있으며, 방송이라는 특성상 그 크기에 있어서 대용량이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 TV-Anytime은 XML 스키마로 정의되어 있으며, 방송이라는 특성상 그 크기에 있어서 대용량이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 TV-Anytime의 특성에 맞는 메타데이타 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 대용량의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 데이터베이스를 사용하며, TV-Anytime 스키마를 분석하여 그에 적합한 스키마를 설계한다. XML 형식의 TV-Anytime 메타데이타에 대한 질의를 위하여 XQuery를 사용한다. 이는 데이터베이스의 저장형식에 무관하게 질의하는 것을 가능하게 만들어 주며, 디지털방송 환경에서 시스템간의 상호 운용성이 확보될 수 있다. 또한, XQuery는 정보검색 기능을 가지고 있어서 향후 컨텐트 기반 정보검색을 포함하는 등 보다 풍부한 의미를 갖는 질의를 사용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Smart TV is to form a market of new industries along with the smartphone that appeared in the early 2000s. With the development of IT technology and the emergence of smart phones, user to pursue the application of high satisfaction. The smartphone has to meet the needs of the user in a variety of applications. However, Smart TV which led to a decrease in the development of a member of the application that reflect the needs of the user. Smart TV is popularized, the approach may be used instead of the application of high specification, the smart TV feel to be a smart are required to meet the needs of the user. Therefore in this paper, using the latest IT technology to provide a smart TV applications. This provides a feeling in conjunction as a system of one smart TV, smartphone, the exercise bike like to travel the distance of the actual user. For this reason to use WebOS, HTML5, Web sockets, the technology of Android.

  • The methodological framework proposed in this paper addresses the strength of the applied Bass model by Mahajan and Muller(1996) that it reflects the substitution of next generations among products. Also this paper is to estimate and analyze the forecast of demand for products that do not exist in the marketplace. We forecast the sales of digital TV using estimated market share and data obtained by the face to face Interview. In this research, we use two methods to analyze the demand for Digital TV that are the forecasting the Demand for the Substitution and binary logit analysis. The logit analysis is to estimate the decisive factor of purchasing digital TV. The decisive factors are composed of purchasing plan, region, gender, TV price, contents, coverage, income, age, and TV program. We apply the model to South Korea's market for digital TV. The results show that (1) Income, region and TV price play a prominent part which is the decisive factor of purchasing digital TV. (2) We forecaste the demand of digital TV that will be demanded about 18 millions TVs in 2015

  • Digital TV tuner for 8-VSB modulation was developed with satisfying the requirements of ATSC. Double frequency conversion and active tracking filter was used in order to suppress IF beat and image band, which results in reducing the interference between adjacent channels and multi-channels. The implemented digital TV tuner has excellent performance such as the wide dynamic range, good flatness in passing band, and low phase noise. The developed tuner is available to handle the digital and analogue television signal at the same time.

  • This study aims to present a direction for the efficient TV commercial marketing strategy at the market by analyzing the relationship between technology and the smart-phones' TV commercial especially 'iPhone series' and 'galaxy S series'. As the results of the factor analysis of the hardwares, slogans and TV commercial for the target smart-phones, TV commercial is the way of the expression for the technology through the meaning of the value. And the meaning of value is defined by reclassifying the expression technique of each scene of TV commercial into nouns and adjectives. Setting a slogan is very important because it is making memorable motto or phrase for the consumer and it decide the image of the product. So the correct configuration of the slogan is a keystone that is important for creating a TV commercial and has a profound impact on product image formation.
