괴델은 '수학은 언어의 구문론인가?'라는 미출간 논문에서 그가 '구문론적 해석'이라고 부르는 카르납의 관점을 비판한다. 박일호, 전영삼, 어워디와 캐러스, 리켓츠, 테넌트 등은 괴델의 논변을 여러 가지 방식으로 재구성하고, 카르납의 가능한 대응을 검토해 왔다. 이 논문은 수학의 성격에 대한 괴델과 카르납의 논쟁을 재현한 뒤 대부분의 기존 논의를 비판하고 다음과 같은 새로운 기여를 하려 한다. 먼저 여러 학자가 카르납의 견해로 지적한 '언어 상대성'이 과장되었다고 주장한다. 오히려 괴델 비판의 핵심은 수학의 적용 문제이며 '기대가능성'에 기초한 논변이다. 따라서 카르납이 수학의 적용, 특히 과학에의 적용을 어떻게 보았는지를 논의하여 괴델에 응답한다. 그 과정에서 기존 논의가 간과한 카르납의 '대응 원리'가 핵심적인 역할을 한다고 주장한다. 마지막으로 괴델 불완전성 정리의 진정한 함축인 수학의 소진불가능성은 카르납과 괴델 자신이 정확히 동의하는 부분이라고 주장한다.

본 연구의 목적은 앞으로 지속될 전통도구의 미적 체험에 관한 새로운 인식을 체계화하는데 있다. 아름다움의 이상을 실현하기 위한 노력은 시대와 사회를 막론하고 끊임없이 다양한 형태로 표출되었다. 서로 다른 문화권에서 각기 다른 언어가 사용되듯이 도구 또한 고유한 형태언어를 갖는다. 시각적 의사소통을 전제하는 도구의 형태언어 또한 고유한 어휘와 문법을 갖는다. 우리는 종종 언어의 코드가 일치하지 않는 상황에서 타 문화권의 사고방식과 행동특성을 충분히 이해하는데 어려움을 느끼는 것 처럼 이해의 상황이 준비되지 않고는 진실한 미적 체험에 도달할 수 없다. 도구형태의 미적 가치를 올바로 인식하기 위해서는 도구의 탄생과 진화를 추진해 온 상황과의 역학관계를 인식하여야 한다. 어느 문화권이나 시대를 막론하고 그들이 설정한 에토스에 가장 진실하게 접근하고 그것을 가장 진실하게 표출해 온 도구들은 오랫동안 우리에게 사랑을 받고 보존되어 왔다. 그것은 아름다움을 추구하는 여성의 의복이나 장신구와 같은 미적 대상 뿐 아니라 언어와 같이 그들의 공동체의식을 가장 잘 표현하고 전달할 수 있는 것이라면 시대와 정신이 바뀌어도 변함없는 가치를 발휘할 것이다.

베르나이스는 국내외를 막론하고 그의 업적에 상응하는 집중적 관심의 대상이 되지 못했다. 극히 최근에 이르러 베르나이스의 저작의 재출간을 비롯하여 그의 철학에 대한 재조명이 시작되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 흐름에 발맞춰 공리적 방법을 초점으로 베르나이스의 사상을 힐버트의 사상으로부터 섬세하게 가려내는 시도를 시작해보고자 한다. 우선 힐버트가 자신의 공리적 방법에 대해 대단한 자부심을 지녔었다는 점을 전거를 제시해가며 부각시킨다. 그리고 힐버트의 공리적 방법이 공리적 방법의 역사 전체 안에서 어떤 위치를 지니는지에 관한 베르나이스의 견해를 정리해볼 것이다. 또한 중전기 베르나이스와 후기 베르나이스가 이 문제에 관하여 상당히 다른 입장을 취하는 것으로 보인다는 점에 착안하여, 중전기 베르나이스의 견해와 후기 베르나이스의 견해를 대조해 보일 것이다. 그리하여 공리적 방법에 관하여 가장 뚜렷하게 부각되는 힐버트와 베르나이스의 견해의 차이가 공리적 방법의 제일성의 문제에서 찾아진다는 점을 보여줄 것이다. 같은 맥락에서 1950년대 중반 이후 과학철학에서의 카르납의 프로젝트가 공리적 방법의 제일성에 대한 힐버트의 신념을 계승하려는 것으로 보고, 후기 베르나이스의 카르납 비판을 논의할 것이다.

오늘날 다원적 가치의 문화 환경에서 '어울림'이란 그 고유한 문화를 지속케 할 수 있는 생명적 원리이다. 글쓴이는 한글창제의 디자인 적 의의와 한글의 조형성과 우수성에 대한 평가 준거를 어울림의 관점에서 제시함으로써 '넓은 뜻의 디자인'이라는 지평에서 '한글의 디자인적 의의'를 조명해 보려 한다. 이러한 관점에서 훈민정음 창제의 큰 뜻은 '다름'에 대한 깨달음의 실천, 사람을 '어엿비 여기는' 인본주의적 생각, 배우고 쓰기 '쉬움'에 바탕을 두고 있었고, 철학적 터전은 동양의 근본 사상인 태극 음양오행설에 두었다. 한글이란 사람 소리를 자연 철학적 관점에서 보고 그 소리의 생성과 조직을 음양오행의 역학에서 추출한 성운학 이론과 원리에 따라 과학적이고 체계적인 글자로 디자인한 것이다. 곧 뜻과 꼴이 맞는 어울림이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 훈민정음 창제를 디자인 적 관점에서 보아, 제 모습 제 말에 어울리는 생명 적이고 질서 있는 시스템이자, 자연 성음의 원리에 맞고, 끝없이 구르고 변통 자재하는 유기적 디자인의 탄생으로 보았다. 나아가 한글 창제에 담긴 넓고 깊은 뜻과 포부가 '어울림'의 뜻에 맞는 완전함을 지향하는 '큰_디자인 짓'으로 규정하고, '어울림' 디자인 가치의 전형으로 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통해, '훈민정음 창제 정신을 되짚어 보며, 어울림'이 새로운 디자인 사상을 잉태하는 씨앗으로서, 표현적 가치와 잣대로, 또 이 시대의 디자인을 풍요롭게 하는 슬기로 작용하기를 바란다.

Purpose: Using images in the facial image comparison process poses a challenge for forensic experts due to limitations such as the presence of facial expressions. The aims of this study were to analyze how morphometric changes in the face during a spontaneous smile influence the facial image comparison process and to evaluate the reproducibility of measurements obtained by digital stereophotogrammetry in these situations. Materials and Methods: Three examiners used digital stereophotogrammetry to obtain 3-dimensional images of the faces of 10 female participants(aged between 23 and 45 years). Photographs of the participants' faces were captured with their faces at rest (group 1) and with a spontaneous smile (group 2), resulting in a total of 60 3-dimensional images. The digital stereophotogrammetry device obtained the images with a 3.5-ms capture time, which prevented undesirable movements of the participants. Linear measurements between facial landmarks were made, in units of millimeters, and the data were subjected to multivariate and univariate statistical analyses using Pirouette^® version 4.5 (InfoMetrix Inc., Woodinville, WA, USA) and Microsoft Excel^® (Microsoft Corp., Redmond, WA, USA), respectively. Results: The measurements that most strongly influenced the separation of the groups were related to the labial/buccal region. In general, the data showed low standard deviations, which differed by less than 10% from the measured mean values, demonstrating that the digital stereophotogrammetry technique was reproducible. Conclusion: The impact of spontaneous smiles on the facial image comparison process should be considered, and digital stereophotogrammetry provided good reproducibility.

본 연구는 스포츠사상에 대한 주관성을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 체육과 관련한 교사, 교수, 연구원, 행정가 그리고 대학생 및 대학원생 등 25명으로 하였다. 연구방법은 인간의 주관적 인식을 탐색할 수 있는 Q방법론을 활용하였다. 연구결과 4개의 유형이 탐색되었다. 제1유형은, '공정승패형'으로, 스포츠사상에 대해 승패, 공정판정, 각본 없는 드라마, 참가정신 등 스포츠경기와 관련한 진술문에 긍정적 인식을 나타냈다. 제2유형은 '체육철학형'으로, 스포츠 사상에 대해 스포츠철학, 심신일원론, 호연지기, 화랑도정신 그리고 스포츠논리학 등 스포츠철학과 관련한 진술문에 긍정적 인식을 나타냈다. 제3유형은 '소통활동형'으로, 스포츠사상에 대해 소통의 장, 사회활동, 배려 등 스포츠의 참여활동과 관련한 진술문에 긍정적 인식을 나타냈다. 제4유형은 '건강복지형'으로, 스포츠사상에 대해 복지, 노후보장, 레저, 오락(게임), 건강 등 생활체육과 관련한 진술문에 긍정적 반응을 나타냈다.

Ruth Ozeki(Japanese-American female novelist)?s recent novel, A Tale for the Time Being (2013) draws our attention because the fiction shows very interesting fictional experiments, especially in terms of post-humanism. Indeed, the novel is not a science fiction at all which has been, and still is, the typical fictional field employed in the discussion for the transhumanism and posthumanism. It also does not include any cybogs, robots, or aliens which provoke the posthumanism-related issues like mind/body, human/nonhuman, nature/culture relations. Indeed, it seems "merely" represent realistic day-to-day lives of ordinary people living in contemporary Japan and Canada, and in very minute and particular details at that. Indeed, the central action of the main characters of the novel seems very traditional, that is on the one hand writing a diary by a teenage girl who is counting the days and weeks before her suicide and on the other hand reading it by a female novelist who happens to find her diary several years later. Nevertheless, I would like to suggest that underneath this traditional narrative surface are simmering post-humanist and post-anthropocentric worldviews beyond liberal Humanism which takes human beings to be exceptional against human or non-human others. Not only in narrative contents and characterizations but also through narrative structure and strategies, the novel enacts post-humanist and post-anthropocentric worldviews which are interestingly drawn from both age-old Buddhist ideas and modern eco-philosophy and quantum physics. I would like to stress that what triggers the author's fictional experiments helping our rethinking and redefining "what human beings are" and "what the relation between humans and nonhumans" is not merely intellectual interests but her keen and passionate response to the heart-breaking pains and sufferings of human and nonhuman beings caused by the contemporary natural-artificial catastrophes and techno-scientific predicaments.

팬데믹 이후 가상현실 플랫폼을 활용한 메타버스 기술과 사회적 활용이 비대면 환경에서 메타버스를 활용에 대한 관심이 커지고 있지만, 메타버스로 인한 사회적 문제, 윤리적 우려에 대한 논의는 충분히 하지 못한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 영화 '레디 플레이어 원'을 통해 메타버스의 사회적 기능이 무엇인지, 메타버스에서 발생할 수 있는 윤리적 문제는 무엇인가?, 메타버스에서 발생한 윤리적 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법은 무엇인가? 에 대해 살펴보았다. 영화 '레디 플레이어 원'을 통해 살펴본 메타버스 윤리 이슈를 통해, 메타버스에서 발생할 수 있는 윤리적 문제는 정체성 분열, 메타버스 폭력 및 범죄, 개인정보관리 소홀이었다. 그리고 이러한 메타버스 내 윤리문제를 해결하는 방법으로 기술윤리학, 규범윤리학, 분석(메타)윤리학 측면에서 해결방안을 제시했다.

Since the study of student's preconceptions and their effects on the learning of relevant subjects became an influential research area with high significance, the research area bas mainly been concerned by science educators. However, it was not until the year of 1983 that the area received recognition of various fields other than science education. The recognition was given by the Scientific American when it published a paper reporting a misconceptions in mechanics. Studies concerning misconceptions primarily interested in the following questions: What kinds of theoretical bases do preconceptions or misconceptions have? What are the sources of those conceptions? How are the misconceptions changed into or improved to scientific concepts? What are the efficient teaching methods appropriate for reducing the number of the misconceptions after instruction? Those questions are partly answered by experimental psychology and by philosophy of science, especially epistemology. Therefore, the paper will examine the theoretical background for and the sources of the misconceptions through literature review. Then, a few learning and teaching theories currently carrying great prestige in educational practice will be interpreted in terms of the knowledge of preconceptions or misconceptions.

The Long-Term Development Plan of the Pusan National University(PNU) has announced on 1991 in order to reach its roles and levels as an University with international standards, a Graduate School research-oriented and a core university in its community through accomplishment of this Plan. University libraries would be planned to support their universities' goals. Therefore the Library of PNU is facing on the task for supporting the Plan. The Collection for Korean Classical Materials (CKCM) is not limited in Korean Literature, Korean History, Korean Philosophy fields but covered the academic fields except a hightech science : Humanities, social science. pure science, applied science and arts etc. However, the Library of PNU does not have the organization, special librarian and budget for CKCM. Under this notion organization, budget and librarian for the collection would be followed. The CKCM contains the original editions, photography editions, copied issues. microform reproductions with comprehensive subjects in the fields of studies. Especially for the collection of treasure books the role of the Library of PNU induce to open individuals' collections or families' collections to public through the Library. The equipments for preserving rare books and treasure books are the conditioners for humidity and temperature, automatic extinguishment system. The reference materials, copy machine and reading room are requested for the user service of CKCM. The materials would be one of the most important thing in study and research. Therefore the Library of PNU need to pay attention to develop and preserve CKCM.
