충주 지역 화강암의 풍화지수 및 일축압축강도 추정에 관한 연구 (The Weathering Index and Prediction of Uniaxial Compressive Strength for Chung-Ju Granite)

  • We have to judge engineering properties of rock accurately in order to design and construct rock structure safely and economically. Among the rock tests, the test result of UCS(Uniaxial Compressive Strength) is very important factor used in the variety ways for designing and construction of underground structures, rock slope and foundation analysis. But the UCS test has some disadvantages of intact sample preparation such as because the shape of sample has to be regular cylindrical, cube or rectangular. In order to solve those problem, indirect tests are used such as point load test, schmidt hammer test, absorption test, dry density to predict UCS of rock. Those tests are easy to prepare sample and convenient to carry out the tests, so it is simple and costs less. Schmidt hammer test are frequently used in the construction site, because it is handy and easy to use, but there is concern of misuse without classifying the specification of each schmidt hammer. Thus, this study suggested presumptive numerical formula related on each specification of schmidt hammer test, point load test, absorption test and dry density also. We compared presumptive numerical formula and R-square through schmidt rebound assessment method already brought up. Also, through the test we offer the extent of weathering index according to the weathering grade.

  • This paper presents the validities of the removal time of side forms considering the relationship between rebound number of P type schmidt hammer and compressive strength. According to test results, compressive strength of 40% of W/C at 12 hours shows 16kgf/$cm^{2}$ and 50% of W/C at 15 hours, 13kgf/$cm^{2}$. Rebound number at 9 hours after casting shows 13 and 9 (W/C 40% and W/C 50%). According to the regression analysis, rebound number of P type schmidt hammer to gain 50kgf/$cm^{2}$ of is estimated 20.1. It is thought that desirable rebound number of P type schmidt hammer to gain 50kgf/$cm^{2}$ is determined 25 considering safety factor.

  • 암석 물성을 간접적으로 추정하기 위한 방법으로 슈미트 해머 타격법이 보편화되어 있다. 그러나 보고된 대부분의 방법들은 단일 타격법으로 오차를 많이 내포하고 있으며 연속 타격법의 경험식도 자료 처리방법에 불합리한 점들이 많아 범용하기 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 ASTM, ISRM, BSI, Poole와 Farmer 및 Hucka의 방법들을 검토하고, 국내에서 출토된 150개의 화성암, 변성암 및 퇴적암을 대상으로 시험을 시행하여 이들 방법들의 불합리한 점들을 수정, 보완하여 최적의 시험방법과 새로운 자료 처리방법을 제시하였다.

  • This study is intended to present a reference data for effective quality control of concrete through comparing the rebound value of P type schmidt hammer with the compressive strength with variation of mix proportion and curing condition. According to the results, the air-curing specimen shows the higher rebound value than standard specimen except high strength in the whole. Also the vertical stroke shows higher rebound value than horizontal stroke in standard specimen, however, the rebound value of the two does not show prominent difference in air-curing specimen. The estimation equation of compressive strength derived from this experiment estimates the compressive strength more largely than the estimation equation in P type schmidt hammer manual. Therefore it is thought that the new estimation equation that fits our condition will have to be presented.

  • This study discusses the determination of removal time of forms with early strength development in high strength concrete. According to the results, as W/B increases by 10%, the setting time is shortened by about 2 hours. The time when compressive strength of 8 MPa is gained is about 20 hours. Bond strength between form and concrete is highest around final setting time, but decreases drastically after that. Amount of concrete sticking on the form is large before setting, but after that, it is little. The rebound value of P type schmidt hammer is measured faster by 2-3 hours than compressive strength. It is also confirmed that the removal of forms is possible when the rebound value of P type schmidt hammer is more than 34

  • 본 연구는 시멘트, 혼화재료 및 골재 등 콘크리트용 재료가 P형 슈미트해머에 의한 압축강도 추정 비파괴 시험에 미치는 영향에 대하여 검토하였다. 실험결과, 알루미나 시멘트를 제외한 시멘트 종류, 혼화재 종류와 치환율, 골재 종류 및 굵은골재 최대치수 등 사용재료 요인이 P형 슈미트해머법 비파괴시험에 미치는 영향은 매우 작은 것으로 나타나 P형 슈미트해머를 여러조건에서 사용되는 일반적인 콘크리트에 광범위하게 적응할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한 P형 슈미트해머의 반발도와 압축강도간의 상관성은 콘크리트의 사용재료에 관계없이 매우 양호하게 나타나(상관계수 0.96 이상) P형 슈미트해머를 이용하여 비교적 정확하게 압축강도를 추정할 수 있었다. 본 실험조건을 종합한 반발도에 의한 압축강도 추정식은 다음과 같다. $\cdot$수평면 타격 : Fc = 0.765RH - 5.74 (R=0.965) $\cdot$ 수직면 타격 : Fc = 0.793RV - 8.66 (R=0.959)

  • This paper intends to review possible application in the high strength area through compressive strength estimation of the simulated high strength concrete member using Rock Test Hammer and suggest it as a reference data for the strength estimation technique of the ultra high strength concrete in the future. From the results of our test, in the low strength area less than 15MPa and normal strength area in 15~60MPa, as shown on the existing studies, it is indicated that P Type Schmidt Hammer in the low strength area and N Type Schmidt Hammer in the normal strength area have high correlation of rebound-compressive strength. As the Rock Test Hammer indicated more or less reduced accuracy in the low strength area and the normal strength area but high correlation on the high strength area (50~100MPa) defined on this test, it is determined that it would be possible to make the fastest and simplest compressive strength estimation on the site where the high strength concrete is applied.

제주도 현무암의 공학적 특성 분석 (Analysis of Engineering Properties to Basalt in Cheju island)

  • 본 연구에서는 제주도 현무암에 대한 공학적 특성을 조사하기 위하여 서귀포시 성산읍 일대의 표선리 현무암, 조면암질 현무암 및 스코리아 시료를 채취하였으며, 채취된 시료를 대상으로 흡수율시험, 비중시험, 암반투수시험, 슈미트해머시험, 탄성파시험 및 일축압축시험을 시험을 실시하였다. 이들 시험결과를 토대로 표선리 현무암, 조면암질 현무암 및 스코리아의 흡수율, 비중, 투수계수, 탄성파속도, 일축압축강도를 조사 및 분석하였다. 특히, 슈미트해머 반발치와 일축압축시험으로 구한 일축압축강도의 관계를 회귀분석을 통하여 슈미트해머 반발치를 이용한 일축압축강도 산정식을 제안하였으며, 이를 통하여 간편하게 일축압축강도를 산정할 수 있는 방법을 마련하였다.

  • This study is intended to investigate the properties of early strength development by application of TEA to the field. According to the results, when TEA is added, fluidity is almost same to base concrete, and increases upto aimed slump after field flowing. Setting time does not differ in the case of base and TEA, but retarded after flowing. The time when compressive strength gains 5 MPa, which side form can be removed, is 23 hours, and so the removal time is shortened by I hours in comparison with plain concrete. But compressive strength is almost same to that of plain concrete at 28 days. The rebound value of P type schmidt hammer show similar tendency to compressive strength, and the rebound value of structure is higher than that of standard curing specimen due to heat capacity effect and drying by the air outside. Therefore, it is thought that if the rebound value of P type schmidt hammer is controled. by about 26 in consideration of open air environment, it is very effective to determine the removal time of side forms.
