A New Scene Change Detection Method using Color Layout Descriptor (Color Layout Descriptor를 이용한 새로운 장면전환검출 방법)

  • 본 논문에서는 동영상 내용 기반 검색을 위한 표준 인덱스인 color layout descriptor(CLD)에 기반한 새로운 장면전환검출 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 입력 영상을 $8{\times}8$ 블록으로 나누고, 그 블록을 대표하는 대표컬러를 선택하여 DCT 변환 후 추출된 DC, AC 계수에 가중치를 부여한 다음 슬라이딩 윈도우를 적용시켜 장면 전환을 검출한다. 이러한 방법은 영상의 전체적인 특성과 국부적인 특성을 동시에 반영하므로, 조명변화나 물체의 움직임에 민감했던 기존 대표적인 방법인 히스토그램 기반 방법과 에지 변화율을 이용한 방법들이 가지는 문제점을 보완할 수 있다. 또한 제안한 방법은 비디오 검색을 위한 MPEG-7 의 검색 서술자 중의 하나인 CLD를 이용하는데 이러한 CLD 는 컬러의 공간적 분포를 잘 설명하므로 MPEG-7 을 위한 검색 서술자에 적합한 장면전환검출 및 검색이 이루어질 수 있다. 제안한 방법을 실험한 결과 기존의 방법보다 장면전환 검출율이 높게 나타났다.

  • MPEG-4 AVC is an international video coding standard that is being developed. The standardization is mainly targeted at a very high compression ratio. MPEG-4 AVC is a general video coding technology that may be used in various applications. Therefore, MPEG-4 AVC needs an efficient rate control method to be applied in various communication environments. This paper is based on the rate control method that considers human visual characteristic. In this paper, we propose the constant bit rate control method using adaptive quantization and scene change detection. Experiments performed using various test images and experimentation results exhibits a favorable performance over existing rate control methods.

  • Being increased the errention and competition for communication business, the economical efficiency and the reliance of communication network were raised. The communication operators are sensitively reactioned to the data related communication. Especially, the trend of hazards related to communication networks and users is broadly deviede into 3 classes in the technical specificatons of foreigners. In this paper, the field data of parameters corresponding to 3 classes was statistically processed and compared to the specified values in the technical specification. The ststistical processes of field data play a role as an objective information for the service quality related to the communication network, and will be helpful for preparing the globalization of communication.

PCA-Based MPEG Video Retrieval in Compressed Domain (PCA에 기반한 압축영역에서의 MPEG Video 검색기법)

  • This paper proposes a database index and retrieval method using the PCA(Principal Component Analysis). We perform a scene change detection and key frame extraction from the DC Image constructed by DCT DC coefficients in the compressed video stream that is video compression standard such as MPEG. In the extracted key frame, we use the PCA, then we can make codebook that has a statistical data as a codeword, which is saved as a database index. We also provide retrieval image that are similar to user's query image in a video database. As a result of experiments, we confirmed that the proposed method clearly showed superior performance in video retrieval and reduced computation time and memory space.

  • The fact of smoking is prohibited in elevators. Smoking in elevators that contrary to business ethics, and it can be fatal to our children and women. In this paper, people who smoke in elevators is submitted to forensic evidence. Method is to extract the white bar at the mouth, biting people that smoke. ${\chi}^2$ histogram of scene change detection method is extracted.

  • 장면 전환 검출을 위한 기존의 주요 방법은 대부분 화소값 차이, 통계적 차이, 그리고 일반적으로 가장 많이 사용하는 히스토그램 비교법등이었다. 이러한 방법에서는 각 비디오 프레임내에 포함되어 있는 영상의 내용 변화에 의한 장면 전환을 검출하기가 어렵고 히스토그램이 비슷한 경우 장면 전환 검출을 할 수 없었다. 본 논문에서는 비디오 시퀀스로부터 빠른 움직임을 포함하는 장면의 변화를 검출하는 객체의 중심점을 이용한 영역분할기법을 제안하였다. 제안하는 방법은 두 개의 프레임간 차영상을 이용해서 명암차를 추출한 후 화소값과 객체 영역의 중심점을 구한 후 사등분 분할하여 영역객체의 평균 및 분산값을 이용해서 내용에 의한 장면 전환도 검출하였다. 실험결과 제안된 방법에 의한 장면 전환 검출은 기존의 다른 방법에 비해 더 나은 성능을 얻었다.

Identification of 5-Jung-color and 5-Kan-color In Video (비디오에서 오정색과 오간색 식별)

  • As color was used for formative language since a human activity was beginning, all the symptoms in the world that the human eye can see is present. In this paper, we identify Korea traditional color harmony for extracted key frames from scene change detection. Traditional color is classified as 5-Jung-color and 5-Kan-color, and determine whether to harmony. Red, blue, yellow, black, and white, called 5-Jung-color and pink, blue, purple, sulfur, and green, called the 5-Kan-color was identified. First, we extract edge using Canny algorithm. And, we are labeling and clustering colors around the edge. Finally, we identify the traditional color using identification method of traditional color harmony. The proposed study in this paper has been proven through experiments.
