와이어쏘 공정에서 다이아몬드 입자의 인성지수가 절단 성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Toughness Index of Diamond Abrasives on Cutting Performance in Wire Sawing Process)

  • Multi-wire sawing is the prominent technology employed to cut hard material ingots into wafers. This paper aimed to research the effect of diamond toughness index on the cutting performance of electroplated diamond wire. Three different toughness index of diamond abrasives were used to manufacture electroplated diamond wires. The cutting performance of electroplated diamond wire is verified through experiments, in which sapphire ingot are cut using single wire sawing machine. A single wire saw for constant load slicing is developed for the cutting performance evaluation of electroplated diamond wire. Choosing the cutting depth, total cutting depth, cutting force and wear of electroplated diamond wires as evaluation parameters, the performance of electroplated diamond wire is evaluated. The results of this study showed that there was a significant direct relationship between the toughness index of diamond abrasives and the cutting performance. Results demonstrated that diamond abrasive with a high toughness index showed higher cutting performance. However, all diamond abrasives showed similar cutting performance under low load conditions. The results of this paper are useful for the development of cutting large diameter ingots and cutting high hardness ingots at high speed.

산업기계류의 소음 특성 (Characteristics of Industrial Machinery Noise)

  • As the various industrial machinery has come into being by development of industrial technology, the productivity of the basic industrial machinery has improved. However, at the same time, noise from various industrial machinery disturbs the quiet environment. There are 35 kinds of the noise emission machinery defined in the noise and vibration control act according to the horse power and the number of machinery. These were classified in 1992, and the characteristics of the noise emission machinery may be different from the past one. So we need to investigate the characteristics of the noise emitted by machinery to control it rightly. We measured sound intensity of 32 noise emission machinery to calculate the sound power levels of those and investigated the characteristics of the sound power level of those according to the frequency. We found that the forging machine, concrete pipe and pile making machine, sawing machine, etc. are noisy. The generator, the concrete pipe and pile making machine, etc. emit the low frequency noise, but the molding machine, the stone cutter, the metal cutter, etc. emit the high frequency noise.

  • Solar cell industry requires high technologies to stabilize apparatuses for the wafer manufacturing. Vibrations of squaring & grinding machines are one of the most critical factors for causing residual stresses of ingots, which are the main reasons of the breakage in the following processes such as wire sawing, cleaning, and modularity. In this study, the structure of a squaring & grinding machine has been analyzed through experiments and computer simulations to figure out the ways to suppress the vibrations effectively, and further to minimize the breakage of wafers. The result shows that simple design changes of applying a few ribs can improve the stability of the machine.

고감성 패턴 제조를 위한 반자동 검단기의 개발 (Development of a Semi-automatic Cloth Inspection Machine for High-quality Fabric Patterns)

  • 직물의 결점은 원단손실을 가중시키기 때문에, 검단공정에서 결점부위를 제거한다. 실제공장에서 이뤄지는 검단공정은 육안판정방식과 전자동 방식 중 하나를 채택하는데, 두 방식 나름대로 장단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 육안판정과 전자동 방식의 장점만을 모아 검출은 사람이 하지만, 결점위치 정보 제공 및 결점정보 기록을 컴퓨터가 하도록 반자동 검단기를 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 레이저 그리드는 결점의 위치를 검단자가 쉽게 파악하도록 돕는 역할을 하며, 야드미터는 자동으로 결점의 위치를 측정하는 역할을 한다. 컴퓨터는 야드미터로 측정된 직물의 길이와 사람이 검출한 결점의 위치정보를 받아들여 저장하고 직물의 결점정보를 한눈에 보여주는 역할을 한다. 실제 사용되는 직물을 대상으로 특정 패턴으로 재단했을 때의 손실률을 계산하여 개발된 시스템의 성능을 객관적으로 평가하였다.

However, at the same time, noise from various industrial production machinery disturbs the quiet environment. These were classified in 1992 through investigation from 1990 to 1991, and the characteristic of the noise emission machinery may be different from the past one. So we need to investigate the characteristics of the noise emitted by machinery to control it rightly. Also we need to investigate the new noise emission machinery which has come into being recently. In this survey, we measured sound intensity of 32 noise emission machinery to calculate the sound power levels of those and investigated the characteristic of the sound power level of those according to the frequency. From the survey, we found that the forging machine, concrete pipe and pile making machine, sawing machine, etc. are the noisy machinery. And the automatic packing machine, sewing machine, centrifuge, etc. are the silent machinery. Also the generator, the concrete pipe and pile making machine, the printing machine, etc. emit the low frequency noise, and the molding machine, the stone cutter, the metal cutter, etc. emit the high frequency noise. Lastly, we intented to propose the proper guide line of classifying noise emission machinery.

시뮬레이션 모델을 이용한 K회사 반도체 패키지 공정의 생산량 증가를 위한 연구 (A Study on Throughput Increase in Semiconductor Package Process of K Manufacturing Company Using a Simulation Model)

  • K 회사는 국내외 반도체 제조업체의 주문에 의해 반도체 패키지 제품을 생산 공급하는 기업이다. 생산 공정은 Die Sawing, 조립, 테스트로 구성된 기계중심의 조립라인 형태를 따르고 있다. 본 논문은 K 회사의 공정분석을 토대로 패키지 공정의 생산량을 늘리기 위한 3가지 방안을 제안하고, 이들을 실제 자료를 이용한 시뮬레이션 모델을 통해 평가하는 사례연구를 다룬다. 3가지 방안은 병목공정에 기계 추가에 의한 라인균형, 제품의 그룹 스케쥴링, 비병목공정에서 작업자의 재배치이다. 시뮬레이션 평가결과, 3가지 방안을 혼합 적용하는 경우에 2.8%의 납기위반율 감소 효과와 함께 17.3%의 가장 높은 일일 생산량 증가를 보여 주는 것으로 나타났다. 3가지 방안의 혼합 적용하는 경우의 투자회수기간은 1.37년으로 매우 짧게 구해졌다.

산업용 기계 제조자와 사용자 대상 직접규제의 균형과 실효성 분석 (Balance and Effectiveness of Direct Regulations on Manufacturers and Users of Industrial Machines)

  • This study first addresses the ineffectiveness of indirect regulation on industrial machines. Analysis of causes of industrial accidents associated with industrial machines further reveals the fact that technical causes need to be resolved at the manufacturing stage to reduce the frequency and strength of industrial accidents. Balanced safety certification on manufacturers and safety inspection on users of industrial machines are then suggested to effectively resolve such technical causes. The effectiveness of such safety certification and safety inspection can be justified by cost-benefit analysis. Particularly, balance in expected benefits of safety certification and safety inspection is a key issue for validity of such analysis. The accumulated benefit-costs for press brake and portable sawing machine confirm the effectiveness of such safety system.

세균성 벼알마름병의 발병요인과 방제대책 (Occurrence of Pseudomonas glumae and its control)

  • This study was carried out to investigate effect of transplanting method, environmental factor, and fertilizing level on occurrence of Pseudomonas glumae in south-west coastal area of Chonnam province. Occurrence in filed began after heading and increased gradually during 3-4 weeks. Occurrence of this disease was great at daily minimum temperature of 23-$25^{\circ}C$ and series of rainfall during early and mid. August Degree of infection by fertilization of nitrogen and by transplanting fertilizing level of 50% than standard fertilization of nitrogen and by transplanting method was greater machine-transplanting than hand-transplanting. Rate of degradation was 6.5% in case of 10% of infected panicle, 14.5% in 30%, 22% in 50% and 35.9% in 70%. We can reduce occurrence of this disease by sawing non -infected seed and balanced fertilizing in cultural practice and applying oryza 4kg/a in early transplanting or Kasugamin EC and Allta in heading stage.

  • In order to establish the optimum process parameters and diamond saw blade composition for machining natural stone, the chip formation process and the wear process must be understood. Diamond saw blade is one of the most effective, versatile, and extensively used methods of processing rock and other hard materials, such as granite, marble, concrete and asphalt. For many years, it has been known that chip thickness is one of the most significant in the understanding of the sawing process, and other variables such as force and power have been correlated with it. In this study, mathematical relations of a material chipped by a single grit of the saw blade will be undertaken. The material chipping geometries have been mathematically defined and derived as maximum chip thickness.

원형톱에 의한 속성수 절단 적정 소요동력 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cutting Optimal Power Requirements of Fast Growing Trees by Circular Saw)

  • 본 연구에서는 단벌기 바이오매스 생산림(Short rotation forest, SRF)에 식재되어 있는 속성수인 이태리포플러(Populus euramercicana)을 이용하여 수확 시 소요되는 동력을 측정하여 수확기계 동력원을 선정하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 수행되었다. 실험 수준은 밀기속도(0.41, 1.25, 2.5 m/s) 3수준, 절단속도(800, 1,000, 1,200 rpm) 3수준, 근원경(50, 70, 90, 110, 130 mm) 5수준으로 선정하였다. 목표로 하는 바이오매스 추정량은 20~30 ton/ha이나 3년 후 수확(근원경 50 mm) 시 이를 못 미치는 10.5 ton로 나타났다. 목표량에 도달할 수 있는 바이오매스 추정량은 근원경 90, 110 mm으로 각각 23.5, 32.5 ton/ha으로 추정되었다. 실험결과, 밀기속도 0.41 m/s에서 최소절단속도(800 rpm)로 절단 시 소요되는 동력은 각각 128.2, 175.8 W로 나타났고, 작업면적이 0.3 ha/h에서 작업능률은 각각 16.5, 22.8 ton/h을 처리할 수 있는 것으로 사료된다. 밀기속도 1.25 m/s에서는 소요되는 동력은 각각 113.8, 153.7 W, 작업면적이 1 ha/h에서 작업능률은 각각 23.5, 32.5 ton/h을 처리할 수 있는 것으로 사료된다. 밀기속도 2.5 m/s에서는 소요되는 동력은 각각 119.8, 166.9 W, 작업면적 2 ha/h에서 작업능률은 각각 47.0, 65.5 ton/ha을 처리할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 따라서 목표로 하는 바이오매스 추정량을 처리할 수 있는 밀기속도 1.25, 2.50 m/s, 절단속도 800 rpm 일 때의 수확기계의 동력원을 선정할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
