This study compares two cases in which flipped learning is applied in the active learning classroom (ALC) and fixed classroom of advanced engineering education. To this end, the difference in pre-learning, academic achievement, and class satisfaction between ALC and fixed classroom flipped learning were compared. The results revealed that students in ALC flipped learning watched more video lectures for pre-learning than those in the fixed classroom flipped learning and achieved higher scores on final tests, though they obtained lower points on midterm exam. In addition, examination of class satisfaction with questions about class factors, instructor factors, and overall satisfaction revealed that ALC flipped learning showed higher satisfaction in all factors than the fixed classroom flipped learning. This case study suggests that the ALC environment, a learning space built to facilitate learner-centered activities, is more effective for flipped learning that requires active interaction in the classroom.

Gross examination techniques (GETs) of specimens collected from cancer surgery or endoscopy comprise the act of recording visual information about cancer for accurate histopathological diagnosis and collecting sections of the lesion to create microscopic specimens. GETs must include concise and accurate expressions, appropriate structuring, sufficient resections, error-free standardization of important information, and photo-diagramming of complex specimens. To increase the satisfaction of pathological interpretation, it is a task that must be performed accurately and carefully to gain confidence on a theoretical and practical basis with a sufficient understanding of gross examination. Based on the experience of clinical pathologists in the field of GETs, additional specimen types should be identified as viable candidates. Also, their needs and concerns regarding treatment should be carefully considered. In addition, departments at each institution should review the national focus on clinical partnerships, continuous professional training, diagnostic errors, and value-based healthcare provision.
The purpose of this study was to Identify the self-actualization level of Junior College Nursing Students and to analyze the variables that may be related to self-actualization. The results of this study are as follows : 1) The self-actualization level of subjects was moderate. The subjects showed higher scores in the areas of Self actualizing Values and Nature of Man than the standardized normal groups. The subjects showed lower scores in the areas of Inner Directed Existentiality, Self acceptance and Capacity for Intimate Contact. 2) The subjects attending day junior colleges showed higher scores in the areas of Time competent, Existentiality and Self Acceptance than those attending college in the evening. The subjects attending evening junior colleges showed higher scores in the areas of Spontaneity than those attending college by day. 3) The junior students showed higher scores in the areas of Feel-ing Reactivity than freshman. The students with no religion showed higher scores in the areas of existentiality than those who had a religion. The group who had the experience of failure on the college entrance examination showed lower scores in the areas of Nature of Man than those without this experience. Those who chose their major voluntary showed scores higher in the areas of I nor Directed, Self Actualizing Values, Spontaneity and Self regard than the unsatisfied group. The group satisfied with college life showed higher scores in the areas of Time Competent, Inner Directed, Self Actualizing Values and Self Regard than the unsatisfied group. In conclusion self actualization level depends on motivation of choice, satisfaction with nursing as a major and satisfaction with college life. Therefore, and effective guidance program is required to improve motivation and satisfaction with nursing as a major and with college life.
