이벤트 참가에 따른 안전만족과 사전기대, 만족과 재방문의사간의 관계 연구: 구조방정식 모형을 중심으로 (Study for Safety Satisfaction and Expectation, Satisfactioon, and Revisit of Mega-Event Participation: for Structural Equation Model)

  • The effective development of event product for a successful event is first started with figuring out the participation motive of event. Second, what level of expectation before participating event for participant will have. Third, what level of satisfaction and safety satisfaction based on figured out motive and expectation will participant have. Fourth, what level of revisit based on satisfaction will have. The study is needed for these low items. Therefore, this investigation started as an exploratory study for a successful event to analysis the relationship among expectation satisfaction, safety satisfaction and revisit. The results indicated that participated motive is positively influenced on expectation. The expectation is positively influenced on safety satisfaction. The satisfaction is positively influenced on revisit. Finally, the safety satisfaction is positively influenced on revisit. The unique characteristics of this study is considered a safety satisfaction as m event safety and as an important factor when terror becomes often these days.

간호사의 경력관리, 경력정체, 경력만족이 경력몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 구조모형 (The Structural Model about Impact of Nurse's Career Management, Career Plateau, Career Satisfaction on Career Commitment)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to construct a model which explains the career management, career plateau and career satisfaction of the factors influencing the career commitment of nurses. Method: The data collection was conducted from Aug. 24, 2009 to Sep. 22, 2009 through self-reported questionaries. Participants were 441 nurses who had worked in 2 national university hospitals, 1 university hospitals, and 1 hospitals founded by business enterprises. The data was analyzed by SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 15.0 for structural model. Results: Career commitment was directly impacted by career management, career plateau, career satisfaction. The predictable variables of the hypothetical model explained 28.4% of career commitment. Career commitment was significantly influenced by career management, career plateau, career satisfaction. Conclusion: The results of study suggest that some strategies are needed which focus on career management, career plateau and career satisfaction in order to promote the nurse's career commitment.

유치원 교사의 직무 만족도에 영향을 미치는 자아 개념 요인에 관한 연구 (The Influence of Self-concept on Kindergarten Teachers' Job Satisfaction)

  • This study explored the relationship between kindergarten teachers' self-concept and job satisfaction. The subjects were 345 public and private kindergarten teachers. Instruments were 2 questionnaires: The Tools for Measuring kindergarten Teachers' Self-concept, and the Survey of Kindergarten Teacher Job Satisfaction. Results showed that kindergarten teachers' self-concept was positively correlated with job satisfaction. The most important sub-factor influencing job satisfaction was self-concept regarding professional and social position. These results imply that teacher education program or organizational climate improving teachers' positive self-concept would be needed.

일대학 부속병원 간호사의 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study of Job Satisfaction of the Nurses in a University Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to describe and analyze about the degree of job satisfaction of nurses in a university hospital for basic data to develop the professionals and improve productivities, effectiveness in nursing practice. Methods: Design was the descriptive survey study. Sample were 97 nurses in K university hospital, and convenient sampling was used. Measures were job satisfaction of nurse for job satisfaction tool modified by Kim, S.N.(1998) and developed by Slavitt(1978). Data were collected from April 2005 to June 2005, and analyzed using SPSS PC+12 program. Descriptive statistics was used for general characteristics and characteristics related to job. F-test, t-test, and $X^2$ test were used for verification of differences. Results: 1. Scores in categories of job satisfaction were ranked for professional position(3.25), interpersonal relationship(3.19), autonomy(3.08), necessary job(2.88), payment and promotion(2.79), and administration(2.50) in order. 2. There were significant differences in age(F=3.343, p=.040) and satisfaction for current job(F=10.331, p=.000) in differences of job satisfaction by general characteristics and characteristics related to job. Conclusions: On the findings, authors suggest that more opportunities for direct nursing practice, appropriate time for the practice, and the intervention improving satisfaction for current job are needed to improve job satisfaction.

요양기관에 입원중인 진폐증 환자에서 고독감과 삶의 만족도와의 연관성 (Loneliness and Life Satisfaction in Pneumoconiosis Patients Hospitalized in Long-term Care Facilities)

  • Purpose: Loneliness may be a typical psychological consideration in chronically ill patients, linking with low life satisfaction. We aimed to determine if loneliness would be independently associated with life satisfaction in pneumoconiosis patients hospitalized in long-term care facilities. Methods: We recruited 164 patients from 3 pneumoconiosis-specialized hospitals in M and S cities, South Korea, and measured loneliness and life satisfaction by using the University of California Los Angeles loneliness and life satisfaction index-Z scales. The Multiple regression analysis was performed to examine an independent association between loneliness and life satisfaction after adjustment for age, the levels of dyspnea and bronchitis-emphysema symptom, length of institutionalization, marital status, previous coal work experience, perceived socioeconomic status, and presence of caregivers. Results: The mean of loneliness was 46.4. We found a significant association between loneliness and life satisfaction (standardized beta=-0.16, p=0.049), independent of all the covariates. Conclusions: Loneliness was an independent associate of life satisfaction in patients with pneumoconiosis who were institutionalized in long-term care facilities. Thus, a nursing intervention strategy for relieving loneliness is needed to increase life satisfaction in these patients.

Comparison of student's satisfaction on school food service environment by the eating place and gender

  • The purpose of this study was to compare student's satisfaction with school food service environment to improve the quality of middle school meal service. A survey was conducted of 680 students (boys 246, girls 433) from 6 middle schools providing school meals from October to November 2007. The questionnaires were directly distributed to the subjects for comparison of satisfaction of school meals depending on the eating place. As for the quantity of food, classroom group (3.40) expressed significantly higher satisfaction than cafeteria group (3.16, P < 0.01), but as for the satisfaction on hygiene, classroom group (2.76) showed significantly lower satisfaction than cafeteria group (3.03, P < 0.01). About the satisfaction of school meal environment, classroom group showed more satisfaction on distribution time, eating place, eating atmosphere (P < 0.001). The classroom group showed higher satisfaction than cafeteria group in cases of quantity, diversity of types of soup, dessert, and the cost of school meal. To improve eating place and hygiene of school meal, sufficient cafeteria space and pleasant environment is needed to be established.

물리치료 서비스에 대한 환자의 만족도 조사 (A Survey of Patient Satisfaction With Physical Therapy Services)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the patient satisfaction with physical therapy services and find the related factors to patient satisfaction. In this study, three hospitals were selected at large, middle, small city. Ninety subjects (53 males, 37 females) who had received physical therapy service were participated in this survey. Survey data were collected by a written questionnaire. The patient satisfaction scale had a good reliability (Cronbachs alpha=.9134). The collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, and Kruskal-Wallis. The scores of patient satisfaction with physical therapy services at large, middle, and small city were 79.67, 76.23, and 86.33 respectively. The score of patient satisfaction at small city was significantly higher than middle and large city (p<.01). There was no significant difference in patient satisfaction with physical therapy services according to gender, age, education years, occupation, marital status, religion and average monthly income. Further studies are needed to identify which specific factors are related to patient satisfaction with physical services. This information will be useful in improving the patient satisfaction.

간호대학생의 임상실습만족도, 간호사 이미지 및 자아존중감이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Clinical Practice Satisfaction, Nursing Image and Self-Esteem on Vocational Identity of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study is a descriptive study to investigate the effect of clinical practice satisfaction, nursing image and self-esteem on vocational identity of nursing students. Method: The subjects of this study were 200 nursing students majoring nursing science in D college, D city and seniors who took the clinical practice course. The date was analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson' correlation coefficients, stepwise and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. program. Results: There was a statistically strong positive correlation between nursing image and self-esteem(r=.242, p=.001), vocational identity(r=.196, p=.009), clinical practice satisfaction(r=.542, p<.001). The factors influencing vocational identity were self-esteem(t=7.193, p<.001), aptitude and nursing belief of motivation for choosing nursing(t=5.472, p<.001), grade(t=-3.249, p=.001), professions of motivation for choosing nursing(t=2.694, p=.008), Satisfaction with nursing as a major(t=2.295, p=.023). The explanatory power of these models was 38.2%. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, to improve the vocational identity of nursing students in college, it is needed to develop nursing education program that strengthen self-esteem, aptitude and nursing belief, professions, satisfaction with nursing as major. Also it is needed a study on verifying application effects.

직무 스트레스가 안전 순응 및 참여 행동에 미치는 영향 관계에서 직무 만족과 직무 몰입의 다중 매개 효과 분석 (Analysis of Multiple Mediation Effects of Job Satisfaction and Job Commitment in Relationship of Job Stress on Safety Compliance and Participation Behaviors)

  • This study aimed to identify the multiple mediation effects of job satisfaction and job commitment on the relationships between job stress and workers' safety behavior in terms of compliance and participation, in which the multiple mediation effects are a hybrid of parallel and serial mediating relationships. The multiple mediation model was analyzed using the bootstrapping method through the PROCESS macro tool in SPSS. The results showed that job stress negatively affects job satisfaction, job commitment, and workers' safety behavior, and the relationship between job stress and safety behavior is mediated by both job satisfaction and job commitment. The serial mediation effects of job satisfaction and job commitment were also found to be statistically significant in the regression relationship between job stress and safety behavior. Further analysis of the compliance and participation subdimensions of safety behavior showed similar results. Specifically, the serial mediation effects of job satisfaction and job commitment on participation and compliance behavior were further supported; however, the mediation effect of job satisfaction was not significant, whereas that of job commitment did remain significant. Further research is needed to determine if the mediation effect of job satisfaction found in this study can be extended and generalized to workers in various fields and industries.

A Study on the Effects of Economic and Financial Stress on the Satisfaction of Living for the Elderly

  • Purpose - In this study, among the various stresses experienced by single-family senior citizens, we will focus on economic and financial stress and help to comprehend it generally, examine the differences in economic and financial stress and coping behaviors caused by the background variables in the aged group, and verify the variables that affect economic and financial stress, response behavior, and life satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - First of all, frequency analysis and technical statistics were conducted to identify the general characteristics of the elderly (characteristics of demographic sociology, social relationships) and the satisfaction level of life. Secondly, Hierarchical Multiple Regression Analysis was conducted to analyse influential factors on life satisfaction. Results - looking at the demographic characteristics of the elderly showed that in case the spouse exists, the level of satisfaction in life was shown to be higher. Next, looking at the characteristics of economic stress showed that the lower the economic stress was, the higher the satisfaction level of life was shown. Conclusions - Since stress has been identified as the most influential variable in life satisfaction through this study, we believe that economic and financial stress should be studied together as a parameter to find out which factors influence life satisfaction, or studies to reduce stresses for experts and senior party members altogether is also needed.
