A PI Control Algorithm with Zero Static Misadjustment for Tracking the Harmonic Current of Three-Level APFs

  • Tracking harmonic current quickly and precisely is one of the keys to designing active power filters (APF). In the past, the current state feedback decoupling PI control was an effective means for three-phase systems in the current control of constant voltage constant frequency inverters and high frequency PWM reversible rectifiers. This paper analyzes in detail the limitation of the conventional PI conditioner in the APF application field and presents a novel PI control method. Canceling the delay of one sampling period and the misadjustment for tracking the harmonic current is the key problem of this PI control. In this PI control, the predictive output current value is obtained by a state observer. The delay of one sampling period is remedied in this digital control system by the state observer. The predictive harmonic command current value is obtained by a repetitive predictor synchronously. The repetitive predictor can achieve better predictions of the harmonic current. By this means, the misadjustment of the conventional PI control for tracking the harmonic current is cancelled. The experiment results with a three-level NPC APF indicate that the steady-state accuracy and dynamic response of this method are satisfying when the proposed control scheme is implemented.

고진공 클러스터 장비의 반송모듈에 적용된 Ziegler-Nichols 방법에 의한 고속 압력제어에 관한 해석 (Analysis of fast pressure control by the Ziegler-Nichols method for a transport module of a high vacuum cluster tool)

  • 차세대 반도체 제조공정을 위한 고진공 클러스터 장비용 반송모듈에 대해 고속 응답이 가능한 압력제어 장치의 구현과 그 성능시험을 수행하였다. 일반적인 자동 유량조절기가 가지고 있는 저속 응답에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 압력제어 순서를 매우 효과적으로 최적화하기 위하여 새로운 실험방법이 제시되었다. 압력제어를 시작하는 시점과 Ziegler-Nichols 제어방법에 의한 조율 상수들을 조절함으로써 매우 안정되고 빠른 응답이 가능한 압력제어를 성공적으로 달성하였다. 반송압력이 $10\times 10^{-5}$ torr인 경우, 질소의 초기유량을 21 sccm으로 설정한 수 4초 시각부터 실제적인 압력제어가 시작되었다. 그 결과, 최대 압력오차가 설정값에 대해 $\pm$0.5% 이하에서 안정화 시간은 10 sec 이내로 기존 실험방법과 비교해 볼 때 70% 정도 개선된 우수한 성능을 얻을 수 있었다. 이때 rise rate는 0.02 torr/sec, the lag time는 0.15sec, the sampling period는 0.5 sec이였다. 이러한 실험결과를 설명하기 위하여 이론적인 모델이 유도되었으며, $\omega$=-1.0일 때 실험결과와 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다.

도시 대기 중 PM10에 함유된 다환방향족탄화수소의 농도분포특성과 주요 영향인자 (Characteristics of and Affecting Factors on the Concentrations of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons Associated with PM10in the Urban Atmosphere)

  • The atmospheric concentrations of particulate polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) associated with PM$_{10}$ were determined in Taegu metropolitan area. Sampling was undertaken every five days throughout one year period from 1993 to 1994 at four sites, representing a residential, a commercial, an industrial, and a sub-urban area, respectively. Benzo (e) pyrene, benzo (k) fluoranthene, and chrysene were found to be the most abundant com-pounds during the study period. The concentrations of benzo (a) pyrene, one of carcinogenic PAHs, ranged 2.0~4.8 ng/㎥ in winter and 0.5~1.5 ng/㎥ in summer season, indicating a marked seasonal variation. It was found that there were very similar patterns in the relative profiles of PM$_{10}$-bound PAH concentrations among the four sampling sites, while the absolute levels of each PAH were significantly different from each site. In addition, the patterns of summer to winter concentration ratios for each PAH were almost identical between the different sites. Despite difficulties due to the lack of good markers for specific sources in the target compounds, we were able to evaluate and describe the effects of vehicle emissions and space heatings, using relative profiles of PAHs, winter to summer (W/S) ratios, PAH-to-PAH ratios, and the result of principal component analysis. As a con-sequence, it was concluded that the vehicle emissions in urban and sub -urban areas are likely to be a major contributor for PAH loadings in the ambient atmosphere during the non-heating season, while the contributions of residential heating and local industrial oil burning emissions were highly significant in heating season.son.

Seasonal Changes in Serum Testosterone, LDH Concentration and Semen Characteristics in Markhoz Goats

  • This experiment was conducted to study variations of serum testosterone and seminal characteristics of Markhoz male goats. Blood samples were obtained via jugular vein, and semen was collected by using an artificial vagina from 14 fertile male goats (2-3 years of age), at 15-day intervals starting on 15 July and ending on 30 October 2010 (during breeding and non-breeding season). Semen volume, total sperm (volume${\times}$concentration), live sperm (%), abnormal sperm (%) and semen pH were significantly superior during the late summer and early autumn (breeding season). Variation of sperm density, motility and progressive motility was not significant during the sampling period. The results presented show that the lowest and highest levels of lactate dehydrogenase in the seminal plasma were recorded in late October (2.82 U/ml) and in late August (4.81 U/ml), respectively. Moreover, the study indicated that the serum testosterone concentration was higher during late summer and early autumn (p<0.05) than at any other of sampling period. There were negative correlations between volume and sperm density (-0.135, p<0.05), and positive correlations between volume and percentage live sperm (0.224) and percentage progressive motility (0.194, p<0.01). Sperm density was correlated with live sperm (0.200, p<0.05) and progressive motility (0.202, p<0.01). The correlation between live sperm and progressive motility was 0.554 (p<0.01). Furthermore, the results in this study indicated a significant positive correlation between live sperm and LDH (0.450) and a negative correlation between sperm density and LDH concentration (-0.272) (p<0.01). Significant, but positive correlations were found between sperm motility and LDH (0.542) and testosterone concentration (0.522), respectively (p<0.05). In conclusion, this study demonstrated that the best obtained semen was collected in late summer (during decreasing photoperiod) and early autumn (September and October). This also coincides with the natural breeding season of Markhoz goats in Iran.

광 디스크 드라이브의 편심 보상을 위한 적응 반복 제어 (Adaptive Repetitive Control for an Eccentricity Compensation of Optical Disk Drive)

  • 본 논문에서는 변하는 주기 기준 신호를 추종하기 위한 광학 디스크 드라이브의 적응 반복 제어 기법을 제시한다. 주기가 알려진 주기적인 외란은 반복 제어 개념을 이용하면 충분히 제거할 수 있다. 광학 디스크 드라이브는 다양한 속도를 지원하기 때문에 변하는 주기의 외란을 가진다. 기준 주기 변화를 추종하기 위해 샘플링 주파수를 변화시키는 반복 제어를 기초로 하여 주기가 변하는 외란을 다루기 위한 적응 반복 제어를 제안한다. 제안한 제어 기법은 반복 제어기와 주파수 발생기고 구성된다. 전자는 외란 주파수의 고정 배수에서 동작하는 가변 샘플러를 사용하고 후자는 외란 주파수에 따라 변하는 샘플링 주파수를 발생한다. 광학 디스크 드라이브 제어 대한 실험 결과에서 제안한 기법의 우수성과 랜덤 탐색 시간의 개선을 보인다.

이중 채널 CIS 인터페이스를 위한 수신기 설계 (A Receiver for Dual-Channel CIS Interfaces)

  • 본 논문에서는 이중 채널 CIS(CMOS Image Sensor) 인터페이스를 위한 수신기 설계에 대해서 기술한다. 두 채널은 각각 CTLE(Continuous-Time Linear Equalizer)를 포함하며 샘플러, 병렬 변환기 그리고 clocking 회로로 구성되어 있다. Clocking 회로는 PLL, PI, CDR을 포함한다. CDR은 PI 기반이며 OSPD(Over Sampling Phase Detector)와 FSM(Finite State Machine)을 추가하여 빠른 락 소요 시간과 지연 시간, 향상된 jitter tolerance를 갖도록 하였다. CTLE는 3 GHz에서 -6 dB 손실을 갖는 채널의 ISI(Inter Symbol Interference)를 제거하며 CDR은 8000 ppm 이하의 주파수 오프셋에 대해 1 baud period 이내의 빠른 락 소요 시간을 갖는다. 65 nm CMOS 공정을 이용하여 설계하였으며 eye diagram에서 최소 368 mV의 전압 마진과 0.93 UI의 시간 마진을 갖는다.

직장인들의 스트레스 정도와 관련요인 (Factors Associated with Stress of Employees)

  • Objective: To find the relevant stress factors of male and female employees. Method: The survey was collected from April 7th to May 10th in 2006 by formalized questionnaires targeted on male and female employees. The research used both quota sampling and accidental sampling to collect the data. Results: 1) It was found that relevant factors are related with ages in general traits for male employees and associated with ages, marital status and education level in general traits for female employees. In other words, age is the primary factor for both male and female employees at age 20s, and as the marital status is single and the education level is lower, the stress level is higher for female employees. 2) Occupation is the main relevant stress factor for male employees in employment traits and the period of employment, working hour and wages are relevant stress factors to the level of stress for female employees. That is to say, manufacture related job shows higher level of stress than other jobs for both male and female employees. As period of employment and working hour is shorter and wages are less, it appears to be high stress level for female employees. 3) It presents that stress level is decided based on if he exercises regularly or keeps regular hours for male employees in lifestyle aspect and it also shows drinking is an additional relevant stress factor to conclude the level of stress for female employees. So to speak, as the regular exercise is performed and regular hours are kept, it comes out low level of stress for both. In addition, it shows lower stress level from the group of female employees who do not drink than the other. Conclusion: The research is summarized that no matter what gender you are, both male and female employees should try to have a positive lifestyle. Specially, the research concludes that the regular exercise is the best way to get rid of stress.

  • The annual variations of some heavy metal concentrations, Al, Mn, Fe, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Hg were determined on tile day of spring tides in every month from May 1977 to April 1978 at eight stations in the Nagdong River downstream. Samples were taken at intervals of one or two hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at each station. Annual ranges and means of concentrations of the heavy metals are as follows : aluminium 40.7-3700 ppb, 286 ppb; manganese 10.3-261.5 ppb, 80.8 ppb; iron ND-1237 ppb, 147.7 ppb; copper ND-30.9 ppb, 2.49 ppb; lead ND-29.9 ppb, 1.10 ppb; zinc ND-156.8 ppb, 5.61 ppb; cadmium ND-1.22 ppb, 0.09 ppb; mercury ND-0.37 ppb, 0.02 ppb respectively. In general, the contents of heavy metals except managanese and mercury were higher at the stations above station one, Kupo, though the ranges of the contents showed remarkable difference according to the sampling stations. Annual means of the concentrations of iron and manganese were exceeded already the desirable standards for industrial water and closed to the criteria of raw water for public supply. The values that over the criteria of raw water were sometimes found. Mercury concentration showed comparative high level such as ND-0.37 ppb in annual range but it was not over the environment criterion, 0.5 ppb. Aluminium, iron and mercury showed generally high values in summer period and other metals in winter period, through the patterns of seasonal variations were difference depending on the sampling stations and the kind of metals.

반주기 표본화를 이용한 디지탈 위상동기회로의 성능개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Improvement of Digital Phase-Locked Loop Using a Half Period Sampling)

  • 본 논문에서는 정현파 입력 신호의 위상을 PGZC(Positive Going Zero Crossing)에 대해 주기당 한번씩 추적하는 디지털 위상동기회로(DPLL)의 성능 개선을 위해 반주기마다 표본화를 행함으로써 위상오차를 감소시킬 수 있는 DPLL을 제시하였다. 제안된 DPLL은 두개의 샘플러에 의해 정현파 입력 신호의 위상을 PGZG에 대해 주기당 2회씩 추적함으로써 기존의 DPLL보다 동기대역의 손실없이 정상상태 위상오차 변동의 범위를 전체적으로 1/2 정도 감소시킬 수 있었다. 또한, 연속 표본간의 오차간격과 양자화 레벨이 동일할 경우에 있어서 반주기 표본화를 이용하는 DPLL이 기존의 DPLL보다 빠른 동기를 이루게 됨을 알 수 있었다. 이 제시된 루우프에 대한 해석 결과를 실제적으로 요구되는 조건들에 대하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 행함으로써 검증하였다.

유아에서 영양섭취와 알레르기성 비염과의 관련성 - 2013년~2016년 국민건강영양조사 자료이용 - (Relation of Nutritional Intake and Allergic Rhinitis in Infants - Using the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) 2013~2016 -)

  • Objectives: This study examined the relationship between the presence of allergic rhinitis and the nutritional intake levels of Korean infants. Methods: The study involved a total of 1,214 infant subjects aged 1~5 months from the 2013~2016 KNHNES (Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey). The Subjects were classified into two groups based on the presence of allergic rhinitis: Non-allergic rhinitis infants (NARI, n=1,088) and allergic rhinitis infants (ARI, n=126). The general characteristics and family history of allergies, nutrient intake status, nutrient supplement intake, and breast milk and baby food start period data of the two groups were compared. All statistical analyses accounted for the complex sampling design effect and sampling weights. Results: The mean age was 0.5 years old in the ARI group compared to the NARI group. In the residence, the rate of urban was higher in ARI. The family history revealed a significant difference between the two groups, particularly those of mothers rather than fathers. The nutrient intake levels were high in energy, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, iron, riboflavin, niacin, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Breastfeeding was significantly higher in the ARI group than in the NARI group. The baby food start period was 0.3 months earlier in NARI group than in ARI group. The height, body weight, and birth weight were higher in ARI group than NARI group. The result of Odds ratio analysis showed that excess energy, protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, riboflavin, and niacin intake increases the risk of allergic rhinitis. Conclusions: These results can be used as data to develop nutrition guidelines for allergic rhinitis infants.
