커피 및 음료 전문점의 음료 종류별 총당류와 Free Sugar 함량 조사 (The total sugar and free sugar content in beverages categorized according to recipes at coffee and beverage stores)

  • This study was designed to investigate the amount of free sugar according to each beverage category in coffee and beverage stores. The groups were categorized as 15 groups based on the kind of beverage material. The beverage groups contributing to total sugar per 100 mL were milk + syrup or powder, hot (12.9 g), ade (12.6 g), milk + syrup or powder + crushed ice (11.9 g), and espresso shot + milk + syrup + crushed ice (11.4 g). The beverage groups contributing to free sugar per 100 mL were ade (12.6 g), milk + syrup or powder + crushed ice (10.8 g), espresso shot + milk + syrup + crushed ice (10.3 g), and milk + syrup or powder, hot (9.7 g). The beverage groups contributing to total sugar (energy) per portion size were milk + syrup or powder + crushed ice 56.6 g (332.3 kcal), espresso shot + milk + syrup + crushed ice 49.3 g (333.4 kcal), milk + syrup or powder, hot 46.3 g (372.1 kcal), and milk + syrup or powder, ice 38.1 g (325.9 kcal). The beverage groups contributing to free sugar per portion size were milk + syrup or powder + crushed ice 51.2 g, espresso shot + milk + syrup + crushed ice 44.9 g, ade 37.1 g, milk + syrup or powder, hot 34.6 g, and milk + syrup or powder, ice 30.1 g. The percent of average free sugar per portion size of the WHO recommendation (free sugars <10% of total energy; <50 g/2,000 kcal) was milk + syrup or powder + crushed ice 102.4%, espresso shot + milk + syrup + crushed ice 89.8%, ade 74.1%, and milk + syrup or powder, hot 69.2%. The proportion of beverage in excess of WHO recommendation per portion size was 14.6% in espresso shot + milk + syrup + crushed ice, 22.7% in ade, and 10.9% in milk + syrup or powder, hot. Therefore, in coffee and beverage stores, menu development with reduced sugar content is needed, and nutrition information should be provided through sugar nutrition labeling.

  • 대학은 산업안전보건법, 중대재해처벌법, 연구실안전법, 고등교육법 등의 다양한 안전관계법령에 적용을 받고 있으며 이들의 적절한 이행을 위해서는 실질적인 방안이 필요하다. 법령별 안전관리대응을 위해서는 전담조직 및 전문인력을 전담자로 두어 집중관리가 필요하지만, 상응하는 인력을 충분히 배치하기에는 재정적으로 어려운 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 대학안전관련 주요 법령의 요구사항을 반영하기 위해서 필요한 안전관리정책 항목들을 설정하고 우선순위에 대한 계층 분석법(AHP)을 통해 합리적 안전관리 방향을 제시하였다.

  • 21세기 일본의 학교안전은 학교교육 정책의 변화에 따라 직접적인 영향을 받았다. 일본 학교교육의 목적은 "살아가는 힘(zest for life)"을 증진시킴으로써 자립 협동 창조적인 인간으로 육성하는데 있다. 이를 반영하여 학교안전의 목적도 어떠한 재난 상황에서도 학생 스스로 극복할 수 있는 생존 역량을 강화하는데 두고 있다. 일본 학교안전의 주요특징은 다음과 같다: 1) 스스로 살아남을 수 있는 역량 강조 2) 가정 및 지역사회의 학교안전 역할 중시 3) 학교안전과 학교교육의 균형 4) 체험학습 및 능동적 학습(active learning)을 통한 안전교육 강조 5) 안전한 학교시설 추구 6) 학교안전 개선을 위한 PDCA(Plan-Do-Check-Act) 적용 7) UN 안전학교 모델 도입 및 확산. 일본 학교안전에 대한 논의는 최근 제도적 변화가 급격히 이루어지고 있는 우리 나라 학교안전에 의미 있는 시사를 줄 것이다.

Optimal Number of Failures before Group Replacement under Minimal Repair

  • In this paper, a group replacement policy based on a failure count is analysed. For a group of identical repairable units, a maintenance policy is performed with two phase considerations: a repair interval phase and a waiting interval phase. Each unit undergoes minimal repair at failure during the repair interval. Beyond the interval, no repair is made until a number of failures. The expected cost rate expressions under the policy is derived. A method to obtain the optimal values of decision variables are explored. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the results.

한국의 저비용항공사 안전 향상을 위한 안전정책 연구 (A Study on the Aviation Safety Policy and Enhancement of Aviation Safety for Low Cost Carriers in Korea)

  • 항공안전에 대한 항공선진국의 항공안전정책을 통해 얻을 수 있는 시사점을 위해 미국, 영국, 호주, 일본의 항공안전정책을 살펴보았으며 외국의 저비용항공사의 현황 및 한국의 저비용항공사의 안전정책 및 항공기 사고에 따른 항공안전 현황을 살펴보았다. 기존의 저비용항공사와 이제 신규 저비용항공사가 지역을 기반으로 지역항공사의 개념으로 탄생함으로써 새로운 저비용항공사의 시장이 형성되고 있는 상황이며 인근 동남아 지역에는 말레이시아의 와 같은 안전의 신뢰성을 갖고 정부가 지원하는 저비용항공사가 있는 반면 항공기 사고로 인하여 경영이 악화되었거나 안전성에 대한 신인도가 추락된 저비용항공사가 산재되어 있어서 외국의 저비용항공사에 대한 안전성 검증과 함께 국내 항공사의 국제선 진출에 대비한 신뢰성 향상 및 국제적 안전성 확보를 위한 안전관리 대책이 필요하다. 또한 현재 항공자유화와 항공수요의 다양화로 저비용항공사 증가 추세에 있으며 최근 제주항공, 에어부산, 진에어, 이스타항공이 국내선 운항과 동시에 국제선운항을 시작하였거나 준비하고 있는 상태이다. 본 논문은 최초 저비용항공사 출범 직후의 안전성에 대한 문제를 중심으로 연구를 진행하였으며 이후 이들 항공사 사고가 발생할 개연성에 대한 부분도 고려하였다. 따라서 국내외 항공시장의 환경변화에 능동적으로 대처하고 항공산업의 경쟁력 제고를 위해 신규 저비용항공사의 안전관리의 강화가 그 언제보다 필요한 시기라고 생각된다. 따라서 해외의 항공안전정책 가운데 미연방항공청의 Flight Plan 하위의 Business Plan처럼 구체적인 항공안전계획이 필요하다고 생각되며 본 논문이 저비용항공사의 항공안전 제고 노력에 미력이나마 도움이 되기를 바란다.

충북 일부지역 여자 중학생의 체형 인식도에 따른 식습관, 체형 만족도 및 영양지식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dietary Habits, Body Satisfaction and Nutritional Knowledge by Body Image of Middle School Girl Students in Chungbuk Area)

  • This study was performed to investigate the dietary habits, body satisfaction and nutritional knowledge according to body image of middle school girl students (n = 284). The subjects were classified as lean, normal and fat groups according to body image. The weight, body mass index (BMI) and the score of body image were significantly higher in the students who recognized their body image as 'fat'. The satisfaction of present body image was significantly lower in students who recognized their body image as 'lean'. The interest in weight control and experience of weight control were significantly higher in students who recognized their body image as 'fat'. The necessity of nutrition education was higher in all groups (lean 67.2%, normal 59.0% and fat 52.8%). The products used to feel sweetened were sweetened ice (68.7%), processed milk (68.3%), confectionery (62.3%), carbonated beverage (55.3%), fermented milk (38.0%) and none (6.0%). The frequency of consumption of fruit juices and fried food was significantly higher in 'normal' compared to 'fat'. There was no significant difference in the frequency of consumption of snack and nutritional knowledge among the three groups. In the multiple regression analysis, the score of body image was negatively associated with the frequency of snack consumption in the 'lean'. The score of body image was positively associated with identification of nutrition labels and an interest in weight control but was negatively associated with satisfaction of present body image in the 'fat'. Based on these results, we conclude that, the middle school girl students need correct recognition of body image and continuous and practical nutrition education in order to maintain healthy dietary habits.

안전공급계획에 따른 판매지점들의 협조공급수준 분석 (An Analysis of Cooperation Service Level using Safety Shipment Plan)

  • The study analyzes those relations of customer service level of each sales branch, level of cooperations among branches, and overall system-wide service level for an item. Under the continuous review method, each sales branch places an order to the outside supplier, and the each branch receives the order quantity after elapsing a certain lead time. Under these circumstances, those branches with stockout condition may be supplied by other branches with keeping stocks to cover the shortages. This policy generally increases the system-wide customer service level for an item throughout cooperations for the safety plan among branches. Therefore, in the context of inventory policy, the decision rules to determine the proper branch levels of service and cooperation levels of service are important goals in terms of attaining desired system-wide service level. This research has suggested the method and procedure to reach above goals.

산업체 규모와 업종에 따른 MSDS 영업비밀 적용 실태조사 연구 (Study on the Status of Application of Trade Secrets in MSDS Provided in Workplaces)

  • Objective: This study analyzed the status of the application of trade secrets in MSDSs according to size and type of industry. The contents of the MSDS non-public approval policy are summarized. We suggest proactive improvement requirements related to the operation of the MSDS non-public approval policy. Methods: To review this subject, we selected 153 manufacturers and six importers in such fields as organic chemical production. The trade secrets application status and ratio (%) of MSDSs by industry size and industry classification were investigated. Improvements toward a proactive system related to the operation of the MSDS non-public approval policy under the Occupational Safety and Health Act(OSHA) were summarized. Results and Conclusions: According to the results, the trade secret ratio in MSDSs by industry size was 33% in workplaces with less than 50 employees, 23.1% in workplaces with more than 50 but less than 100 workers, 73% in workplaces with more than 100 workers, and 83.4% in workplaces with 300 or more workers. For the trade secret writing rate for MSDSs by industry, the highest was MOCCP (Manufacture of ink, paint, coating and similar products) at 80.9%. MOC (Manufacture of other chemicals) was the lowest at 16.2%. We propose four proactive efforts to minimize the administrative burden of implementation of the MSDS non-public approval policy. The results of this study can be used as basic data for policy improvements to make more effective use of MSDS.

제조업의 업종별 안전보건활동 수준 비교 (The Comparison of Activities of Occupational Safety and Health among Sub-Sectors of Manufacturing Industry)

  • This article has compared the level of activities of occupational safety and health in workplace among sub-sectors of manufacturing industry in order to set the priority for policy intervention. Data of manufacturing industry in the survey on the current status of occupational safety and health was used with factor analysis and radar graphic method. Authors have categorized sub-sectors of manufacturing industry into four categories, attained group, active group, neglected group, and passive group based on injury rate, level of safety and health activities. The neglected group may be the first target group for occupational safety and health policy guiding some detailed occupational safety and health activities. Limitation of this study is that cross sectional data was analyzed. The long term effect could not be analyzed.
