Polyoxyethylene Alkylether Sulfate 계면활성제를 사용한 무기/유기 코어-셀의 합성 (Synthesis of Inorganic/Organic Core-Shell Polymer Using Polyoxyethylene Alkylether Sulfate as a Surfactant)

  • Silicone dioxide absorbed polyoxyethylene alkylether sulfate (EU-S75D) surfactant was prepared. The core-shell composite of inorganic/organic were polymerized by using styrene(St) as a shell monomer and potassium persulfate(KPS) as an initiator. We studied the effect of surfactants on the core-shell structure of silicone dioxide/styrene in the presence of an anionic surfactant lauryl sulfate(SLS). The structure of core-shell polymer were investigated by measuring to the thermal decomposition of polymer composite using thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA) and morphology of latex by scanning electron microscope(SEM).

SMC 압축성형재의 기계적 물성 및 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Material Characterization and Mechanical Properties of SMC Compression Molding Parts)

  • An experimental study on material characterization and mechanical properties of SMC(Sheet Molding Compounds) compression method parts was carried out. Simple compression test using grease oil as a lubricant was carried out to characterize flow stress of SMC at elevated temperatures. Two different mold temperatures, $130^{\circ}C{\;}and{\;}150^{\circ}C$ and two different mold speeds, 15, 45 mm/min were used for preparing the specimen of SMC compression molded parts. Surface roughness, tensile, and 3-point bending tests were used to determine the effects of molding temperatures and speeds on mechanical properties of compression molded SMC parts. Orientation and distribution of glass fiber in the compression molded SMC parts were also investigated by photographing the burnt flat specimen and taking SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) of cross-sectional T-specimen.

  • Dacetini족의 1미기록종이 Smithistruma japonica(Ito)가 거금도에서 채집확인 되었기에 한국명을 톱니비늘개미속 톱니비늘개미로 명명 기재하여 보고하며, 주사전자현미경을 사용하여 비늘개비와 톱니비늘개미의 형질특성 차이에 대하여 기재한다. 한국산 비늘개비족(Dacetini tribe)은 모두 2속 2종이 된다.

  • This study was performed to investigate the surface properties of electrochemically oxidized pure titanium by anodic spark discharging method. Commercially pure titanium plates of $10{\times}20{\times}1[mm]$ in dimensions were polished sequentially emery paper. Anodizing was performed at current density of $76.2\;[mA/cm^2]$, application voltage of 290, 350, 400 [V] using a regulated DC power supply, which allowed automatic transition constant current when a preset maximum voltage has been reached. The Ti surface oxided films was characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM). The precipitation of HA(Hydroxyapatite) crystals on anodized surface was greatly accelerated by hydrothermal treatment. The concentrations of DL-$\alpha$-Glycerolphosphate Magnesiurn(DL-$\alpha$-GP-Mg) salt and Ca acetate in an electrolyte was highly affected the precipitation of HA crystals converted by Ti Anodized oxide films by Shape of Impulse Voltage.

  • 본 논문은 RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링 시스템을 이용하여 p-Si (100) 기판위에 증착된 C축 배향을 가지는 ZnO 박막의 특성을 분석하고 있다. 증착 전력, 공정 압력, 반응가스로 사용된 산소 가스의 비율과 같은 증착 조건들을 변화시켰을 때, ZnO 박막의 결정구조의 변화를 분석한다. 증착된 ZnO 박막의 결정 구조는 주사 전자 현미경(scanning electron microscope, SEM)을 이용하여 조사되었다. 분석 결과 증착 파라미터들은 증착된 ZnO 박막의 결정(grain) 크기와 배향 특성에 강한 영향을 미친다는 사실을 알 수 있다.

  • 열 증착 방법을 이용하여 copper(II)-phthalocyanine(CuPc) 박막을 glass 기판 위에 제작하였다. 열처리 조건은 $150^{\circ}C$에서 후열(annealing) 처리 하는 방식과 예열하는 두 가지 방식으로 달리하였다. 제작된 박막의 전기전도도를 평가하기 위해 마이크로웨이브 근접장 효과를 이용한 근접장 현미경(near-field scanning microwave microscope)을 이용하여 비파괴적인 방식으로 CuPc 박막의 반사계수(reflection coefficient)를 측정하였다. CuPc 박막의 전기전도도 특성을 UV 흡수도를 통한 에너지 밴드갭의 shift 현상과 관련지어 설명하고 또한 x-ray diffraction(XRD) data를 통해 박막의 결정 특성과 비교하였다. 박막 표면 특성은 SEM(scanning microscope microscopy)을 통해 관측하였다. 열처리 조건에 따른 CuPc 박막의 전기전도도 특성은 후열 처리한 박막의 경우 예열 처리한 박막보다 전기 전도 특성이 향상되었음을 관측할 수 있었다.

Heterophyopsis continua에 대한 praziquantel 시험관내 효과의 주사현미경적 관찰 (In vitro effect of praziquantel on Heterophyopsis continua by scanning electron microscopic observation)

  • This study was carried out to observe in vitro effect of praziquantel on the tegumental changes of Heterophyopsis continua with scanning electron microscope. Metacercariae were collected from the perch, Lateolabrax japonicus, by artificial digestion technique and fed to 2-week old chickens. Adult worms were recovered from small intestine of chickens 8 days after infection. For working solutions, praziquantel was diluted with TC199 medium at concentration of 0.01, 0.1. 1 and $10{\mu}g/ml$. To each petri dish containing 10ml of solution, 5~10 worms were introduced and incubated at $37^{\circ}C$. For the scanning electron microscopy(SEM), the worms were fixed in cold 2.5% glutaraldehyde, dehydrated in a series of graded ethanol and freeze-dried. Dried specimen was mounted on stub and coated with gold and observed in an SEM. The results were as follows: 1. Severe tegumental alterations were recognized by scanning electron microscope. Bleb formation of tegument was observed in 5 minute group and most pronounced on anterior tegument of worms. The number and size of blebs increased as incubation time prolonged. 2. The surface destruction was more pronounced at ventral margin between the oral and the ventral suckers. 3. The sensory papillae were slightly affected, but destruction of tegumental spine was not recognized. 4. The effect of praziquantel on the worm was found dependent on the concentration and incubation time, however, the effect was more dependent upon the incubation time.

고압동결고정을 이용한 애기장대 줄기의 cryo-SEM 분석법 (Cryo-SEM Methodology of Arabidopsis thaliana Stem Using High-Pressure Freezing)

  • The scanning electron microscopy is an ideal technique for examining plant surface at high resolution. Most hydrate samples, however, must be fix and dehydrate for observation in the scanning electron microscope. Because the microscopes operate under high vacuum, most specimens, especially biological samples, cannot withstand water removal by the vacuum system without morphological distortion. Cryo-techniques can observe in their original morphology and structure without various artifacts from conventional sample preparation. Rapid cooling is the method of choice for preparing plant samples for scanning electron microscopy in a defined physiological state. As one of cryo-technique, high-pressure freezing allows for fixation of native non-pretreated samples up to $200{\mu}M$ thick and 2 mm wide with minimal or no ice crystal damage for the freezing procedure. In this study, we could design to optimize structural preservation and imaging by comparing cryo-SEM and convention SEM preparation, and observe a fine, well preserved Arabidopsis stem's inner ultrastructure using HPF and cryo-SEM. These results would suggest a useful method of cryo-preparation and cryo-SEM for plant tissues, especially intratubule and vacuole rich structure.

침전법을 이용한 이산화티탄 입자 제조에 알콜과 온도가 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Study about The Effect Alcohol and The Temperature Exert on $TiO_2$ Particle Production by Sedimentation Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 $TiO_2$ 입자를 얻을 수 있는 침전법을 이용하여 $TiO_2$ 입자를 제조하였다. $TiO_2$ 입자 제조시 사용되는 알콜 용매의 종류와 온도 변화 등의 매개변수가 $TiO_2$ 입자의 결정 구조, 입자의 크기 및 형태에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. $TiO_2$ 입자제조시 용매로 사용한 알콜 종류인 methyl alcohol, iso-propylalcohol, 그리고 tert-butylalcohol를 scanning electron microscope(SEM) 분석한 결과 iso-propylalcohol이 가장 좋은 결과를 가져왔다. 그리고 온도 변화를 열분석법을 사용한 결과 $200^{\circ}C$에서 $500^{\circ}C$까지는 아나타제 구조를 유지하였으나, $800^{\circ}C$에서는 루틸 구조로 전환되었다.

SEM 단면 시료 제작을 위한 플라즈마 이온원의 구조 (Structure of a Plasma Ion Source for a Cross-Section SEM Sample)

  • This study researched the structure of the source of an ion milling machine used to fabricate a scanning electron microscope (SEM) sample. An ion source is used to mill out samples of over 1 mm dimension using a broad ion beam to generate plasma between the anode and cathode using a permanent magnet. To mill the sample in the vacuum chamber, the ion source should be greater than 6 kV for a positive ion current over $200{\mu}A$. To discover the optimum operating conditions for the ion miller, the diameter of the extractor, anode shape, and strength of the permanent magnet were varied in the experiments. A silicon wafer was used as the sample. The sputter yield was measured on the milled surface, which was analyzed using the SEM. The wafer was milled by injecting 1 sccm of argon gas into the 0.5 mTorr vacuum chamber.
