Since 1996, the document exchange method by EDI has been introduced in port and logistics industries in Korea to enhance the declaration activities to the Pusan Port Authority and Customs. In spite of these efforts, users such as shipping companies, shipping agents, and freight forwarders have complained the inconvenience of using EDI systems. The major reasons can be summarized as follows: repetitional EDI transfer, too much transfer time, inconvenient EDI software, and problems on message receiving confirmation. Furthermore, EDI has been used only for transmitting messages. To solve these problems, this study has adopted the integration system by applying the concept of SCM to logistics system by XML/EDl. In the view of SCM, the existing EDI has some problems because its role is only to transmit the messages. This paper is to suggest how current EDI systems in Port and logistics sector has to be chanced by Introducing SCM. The integration system gives us such advantages as accuracy of cargo data, integration of processes among firms, and keeping the trace of cargo.

By successful establishment of SCM(Supply Chain Management) System they should make the supply chains speedy and combine production information system with the outcome system and thus they reinforce the competition of the production system of local enterprises in accordance with the rapid decision making This study is to develop the most appropriate production system models through the reflection of JIT system in the SCM which is the necessity of the times and its importance. To achieve this goal the researcher diversifies the prerequisites for the success of the business which will be the strategical factors of the production systems. The objects of this study is to develop the most appropriate production system models and to provide the enterprises with the models which are based on the SCM.

In this study, the relationship between packaging design and logistics efficiency raised in prior research was to be conducted through empirical analysis in terms of SCM efficiency. The main research contents were carried out in the pursuit of efficiency of the relevant store operation, relationship with SCM efficiency aspects, resolution of differences in recognition between manufacturers and distributors, establishment of automated systems for RRP production facilities and processes in the manufacturer's facilities, logistics costs, environment and quality safety, and promotion of RRP through the manufacturer's packaging system. As a result of the verification of SCM efficiency aspects through this study, logistics efficiency will be reduced in the case of the packaging system or delivery system, where only the operational efficiency of the store is the top priority(χ² = 178.500, p < 0.001). This is because of the strong interaction between packaging and supply chain activities, many packaging systems affect the performance criteria of the supply chain, and the content that packaging personnel should ensure that the packaging system meets other essential requirements while meeting the primary goal of protecting the product is also a result consistent with the preceding study. An analysis of whether the RRP promotion through the manufacturer's packaging system would result in improved loading efficiency showed that there was a statistically meaningful difference at a significant level of 0.000, as χ² = 140.133.

This paper aimed to analyze the factors affecting on the implementation of supply chain management (SCM) system of manufacturing company in Korea. For preparation of the data for this research, the Internet-based questionnaires with 5 Likert's scale were performed to the 125 manufacturing companies in Korea. The affecting factors on the implementation of SCM system were crystallized through factor analysis methods. And the correlations between factors were analyzed with structural equation model (SEM). The factors affecting on the implementation of SCM system are company's IT-competence and relationship with supply chains. This paper could contribute to show the guideline for the successful implementation of SCM system to the korean manufacturing company.

The objective of this study is to devise and empirically validate a model in which information characteristics influence the success of SCM system as assessed by the Information Capabilities method. The four factors examined in this study include Information Quality, Operational Information Sharing, Strategic Information Sharing, Information Capabilities. The research model was analyzed by the structural equation modeling(SEM) technique, supported by SPSS 21 and SMART-PLS 2.0. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. The study confirmed the presence of positive influence of information quality on operational information sharing, strategic information sharing and IO. And, information sharing, as expected, had a significant impact on SCM performance as assessed by the IO method. A major contribution of the study is that it provides empirical evidence of the relationships that have been presumed to exist between information characteristics and information performance of SCM system. Also, the study provides both researchers and practitioners a solid foundation for future studies and practice for more successful implementation of SCM system.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of SCM activities and the logistics performance by SCM of the three company types in fashion industry· fabric suppliers, apparel manufacturers, and retailers. The level of SCM activities was estimated through the examination of seven factors: commitment and leadership of a top management, flexibility of management, understanding of demand characteristics, integrated management organization, information system, cooperative partnership and communication and exchange of opinion. The logistics performance was measured by improvement in customer service(on time delivery ratio of products, returning rate, treat ratio for A/S, order fill rate, substitute providing capability for being out of stock) and delivery cost reduction. Through questionnaire survey, a total of 214 data for 108 companies of three company types were collected: 46 for 40 fabric suppliers, 123 for 64 apparel manufacturers and 45 for 4 retailers. The analysis of SCM activity levels showed that fabric suppliers had higher degrees in the factor of understanding of demand characteristics, and apparel manufacturers had higher degrees in the factor of information systems. For retailers, the factor of communication and exchange of opinion represented higher degrees. The study on relationship between the SCM activity levels and logistics performance showed that the SCM activity factor of understanding of demand characteristics greatly improved a substitute providing capability for being out of stock in fabric suppliers, and information system improved a substitute providing capability for being out of stock, on time delivery ratio of products and order fill rate in apparel manufacturers. In retailers, the SCM activity factor of understanding of demand characteristics decreased returning rate highly and improved on time delivery ratio of products. The study results showed that SCM activities in fashion industry brought more improvement in customer service levels rather than in delivery cost reduction.

The purpose of this study is to develop business models for current situational scenarios reflecting customer needs emphasize the need for implementing a logistics cooperation system by analyzing big data to strengthen SCM competitiveness capacities. For healthcare SCM competitiveness needed for the logistics cooperation usage intent, they were divided into product quality, price leadership, hand-over speed, and process flexibility for examination. The wordcloud results that analyzed major considerations to realize work efficiency between medical institutes, words like unexpected situations, information sharing, delivery, real-time, delivery, convenience, etc. were mentioned frequently. It can be analyzed as expressing the need to construct a system that can immediately respond to emergency situations on the weekends. Furthermore, in addition to pursuing communication and convenience, the importance of real-time information sharing that can share to the efficiency of inventory management were evident. Accordingly, it is judged that it is necessary to aim for a business model that can enhance visibility of the logistics pipeline in real-time using big data analysis on site. By analyzing the effects of the adaptability of a supply chain network for healthcare SCM competitiveness, it was revealed that obtaining competitive capacities is possible through the implementation of logistics cooperation. Stronger partnerships such as logistics cooperation will lead to SCM competitive capacities. It will be necessary to strengthen SCM competitiveness by searching for a strategic approach among companies in a direction that can promote mutual partnerships among companies using the joint logistics system of medical institutes. In particular, it will be necessary to search for ways to utilize HCSM through big data analysis according to the construction of a logistics cooperation system.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the causal relationships among quality of hospital SCM (system quality, information quality, service quality), perceived usefulness, user satisfaction and logistics performance by hospital staff. Methods: A survey using a structured questionnaire was conducted with 276 hospital staff. Analysis of the data was with both SPSS Win 18.0 for descriptive statistics and AMOS 8.0 for the structural equation model. Results: The hypothetical model yielded Chi-square=8.121 (p=.087), df=4, $x^2$/df=2.030. GFI=.989, AGFI=.942, RMSEA=.066, NFI=.995, CFI=.997 TLI=.990 and showed good fit indices. Three dimensions of quality of SCM had significant direct effects on perceived usefulness. System and service of quality of SCM had significant direct effects on user satisfaction. Perceived usefulness had significant direct effects on user satisfaction. User satisfaction had significant direct effects on logistics performance. Conclusion: These results suggest that logistics performance can be enhanced by user satisfaction, user satisfaction can be enhanced by perceived usefulness, and perceived usefulness can be enhanced by quality of hospital SCM. Further study with various hospitals and various variables is necessary.

Cost, schedule, quality are the essential parts of success of every construction project. It is especially true in high-rise building construction. Among the construction components in high-rise building construction, curtain walls are very important elements for the project success because they take large portion of cost and schedule. However, curtain wall construction process are very complicated, where many entities including designers, suppliers, contractors and even maintenance contractors are involved. Therefore, control and management of their relationships and production process are critical. It is suggested that this can be solved by the concept of Supply Chain Management which is supported by the automated information technology with Radio Frequency Identification. Such concept is defined as 'Automated Life-Cycle Management System Based On SCM' and this study suggests rode map to establish the system.

Due to technological development in the globalized food system, quantitative problems of food supply have been solved, but food risks have expanded from problems in specific regions to global problems. In order to maximize the efficiency of agricultural production, the growth in agricultural production system, procirement of raw materials, establishment of food processing processes and establishment of food supply chain systems are required. Control of hazards requires facility and administrative efforts. In this study, we examined the role of CSR in conjunction with food safety. Food SCM is related to food safety and correlates with the food supply chain. In terms of the triple bottom line theory, CSR is correlated with SCM and it is possible to pursue food safety through corporate CSR and SCM. In this study, it is statistically confirmed that SCM and CSR are in a positive relationship. In the impact of CSR on food safety, it has been confirmed that economic responsibility and legal responsibility take precedence over environmental responsibility and social responsibility. Based on this, we can achieve food safety through SCM and CSR, and we can decide which of CSR activities can be prioritized.
