A Study on Acupuncture Treatment for Disorders following Whiplash Injuries (교통사고후유증(交通事故後遺症)(편타성(偏墮性) 손상(損傷))에 대한 침구치료(鍼灸治療)의 접근(接近))

  • Objectives : This study is to applied effectively to the acupuncture treatment for disorders following whiplash injuries. Methods : This study suggests five various ways and principtes of treating disorders following whiplash injuries by means of acupuncture. First principle is that acupuncture treatment is carried out on acupoint far from cervical spine at acute stage, on the other hand, Extraordinary Vessel and other acupuncture treatment such as five element acupuncture treatment is applied at chronic stage in order to control balance disoders due to cervical pathology. Second is acupuncture treatment will be performed in group of three part of Meridian System-Yangmyung, Taeyang, Soyang-according to cervical kinetic, its characteristic and location of pain. Third is acupuncture treatment could be performed on basis of theory of Eohyel-disorders and disturbance of blood circulation. Fourth is to decrease tension of SCM muscle, because disorders following whiplash injuries has much association to injury of CM muscle and is simillar to tension syndroms of SCM muscle. fifth is taping therapy could control and decrease disorders following whiplash injuries based on spiral balance taping theory. Conclusions : These results suggest that acupuncture treatment for disorders following whiplash injuries will significally decrease pain and control syndrom caused by cervical disorder.

  • 최근 데이터 저장을 위한 고속 입출력에서 병목현상을 해결하기 위해 다양한 SSD(Solid State Drive) 관련 연구가 많이 수행되고 있다. 대표적인 것으로 비휘발성 메모리인 플래시와 차세대 반도체 메모리인 SCM(Storage Class Memory) SSD가 있고, 휘발성 메모리인 DRAM기반의 SSD가 있다. 플래시 또는 SCM 메모리기반 저장장치는 하드 디스크기반 저장장치에 비해 읽기 속도가 빠르며, 내구성이 강하다는 장점으로 새로운 저장장치 시스템의 저장매체로 부각되고 있으나, 단위 저장 공간 당 높은 가격으로 인해 저장장치 시스템에 적용하기 에는 많은 문제점이 있다. 최근에는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 고용량의 하드디스크와 SSD를 RAID 또는 단일 저장장치 매체로 구성하는 하이브리드 저장장치에 관한 연구와 제품이 출시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 하이브리드 저장 매체 어레이를 저장장치 시스템으로 구성하기 위한 볼륨구성과 해당 서버에 볼륨 제공 서비스를 수행하기 위한 하이브리드 저장장치 시스템 설계 방법에 대해 설명한다.

Peculiar Fatigue Fracture Behavior of Ultrasonic Nanocrystal Surface Modified SCM435 (초음파 나노 결정 표면개질된 SCM435의 특이한 피로 파괴 특성)

  • Using the fatigue limit (∆σunsm) and residual stress (σr) of the UNSM smooth specimen, the harmless maximum crack depth (ahlm) according to the crack aspect ratio (As) was evaluated. In addition, the relationship between the minimum crack depth (aNDI1, aNDI2) detectable by non-destructive inspection(NDI), the crack depth (a25, a50) that reduces the fatigue limit by 25% and 50%, and ahlm were evaluated. The harmless crack condition was determined by the deepest crack point (point A). Since ahlm is larger than a25 and a50, a25 and a50 can secure the safety and reliability of steel via UNSM. Because aNDI1 and aNDI2 are larger than a25 and a50, cracks in a25 and a50 cannot be detected by non-destructive testing. Therefore it is necessary to apply more precise NDI.

Issues of Halal Supply Chain Management: Suggestion for Korean Traders

  • Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to suggest countermeasures to reduce the damage of manufacturers in halal industries and to increase the transparency of the halal market along with raising some problems of halal supply chain management (HSCM). Design/methodology/approach - To achieve to the aim of this research, halal supply chain is categorized as a green zone or a red zone according to the possibility of cross-contamination, and the study introduces 2 examples in Malaysia and Indonesia regarding cross-contamination. Findings - More than 70% of the companies producing halal-certified products are, ironically, non-Muslim suppliers under the halal certificate system and by using halal supply chain. Most Muslim countries do not exercise control over the completed halal supply chain. In most Muslim countries which do not exercise control over halal supply chain properly, there is always a possibility of cross-contamination of products during the processes of distribution. Research limitations/implications - This research has been conducted by accessing cases in halal supply chain. These cases are found in some Muslim countries, not all Muslim countries. Nevertheless, the authors found the possibility of these cross-contaminations in all Muslim countries, and it will damage the halal market. Originality/value - While existing studies have focused on protecting Muslim consumers by ensuring the integrity of halal products in halal supply chain, there is no research on how to protect halal product manufacturers as another important axis of halal SCM.

  • With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, propelled by digital technology, we are transitioning into an era of hyperconnectivity, where everything and objects are becoming interconnected. A smart supply chain refers to a supply chain system where various sensors and RFID tags are attached to objects such as machinery and products used in the manufacturing and transportation of goods. These sensors and tags collect and analyze process data related to the products, providing meaningful information for operational use and decision-making in the supply chain. Before the spread of COVID-19, the fundamental principles of supply chain management were centered around 'cost minimization' and 'high efficiency.' A smart supply chain overcomes the linear delayed action-reaction processes of traditional supply chains by adopting real-time data for better decision-making based on information, providing greater transparency, and enabling enhanced collaboration across the entire supply chain. Therefore, in this study, a hierarchical model for building a smart supply chain was constructed to systematically derive the importance of key factors that should be strategically considered in the construction of a smart supply chain, based on the major factors identified in previous research. We applied AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) techniques to identify urgent improvement areas in smart SCM initiatives. The analysis results showed that the external supply chain integration is the most urgent area to be improved in smart SCM initiatives.

Phytoplankton and Environmental Factors in the Southeastern Barents Sea during August 2003 (북극해 하계 남동 바렌츠 해역에서 식물플랑크톤 크기별 분포와 환경요인에 관한 연구)

  • In order to grasp the structure and dynamics of phytoplankton communities, chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) and cell abundance were measured at 20 stations during the period from August 9 to August 21, 2003 in the southeastern Barents Sea on surface and subsurface chlorophyll maximum depth (SCM). Surface temperatures were varied from minimum $-0.7^{\circ}C(st. 18)$ to maximum $10.4^{\circ}C(st.1)$. Salinities were varied from minimum 29.9 psu(st. 18) to maximum 35.8 psu(st.2). The maximum nutrient(phosphate, nitrate, silicate) concentrations were $0.12{\mu}M,\;0.11{\mu}M,\;7.53{\mu}M$ and minimum concentrations were $0.01{\mu}M,\;0.03{\mu}M,\;1.43{\mu}M$, respectively. On SCM physical environmental factor were almost similar. Chl-a concentrations ranged from 0.23 to $2.13{\mu}g\;chi-a\;l^{-1}$ at SCM. Nano- and pico phytoplankton were the important contributors for increase of the Chl-a. It was about seven times difference between highest concentration to lowest. Phytoplankton communities were composed of diatoms, dinoflagellates, cryptophyceae, silicoflagellate, and prymnesiophyceae showing 37 taxa at surface and 38 taxa at SCM. Picophytoplankton was the most dominant in all stations and all layers, but the second groups were 2 and/or 3 taxa. Phytoplankton abundance ranged from minimum $4.3{\times}10^5\;cells\;l^{-1}$ (st. 20) to maximum $2.4{\times}10^6\;cells\;l^{\-1}$. (st. 17) at surface water. As a result, phytoplankton might be controlled by physical factors such as North Atlantic ocean currents and northern melt water among environmental factors in Barents Set h addition the dominant species were nano- and pico phytoplankton such as Phaeocystis, Cryptomonas and Dinobryon in the study area.

  • Recently, RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) application technology is the core of ubiquitous technology. this research examines the factors for adopting the RFID application technology together with factors for adopting the related information system such as ERP, SCM, EDI by researching relevant literature. this research attempts to derive the factors for adopting RFID application technology by using the Delphi Method. The factors for adopting the information technology of the above-mentioned three areas totaled 116 adoption factors. Based on these 116 adoption factors, the factors for adopting RFID application technology were to be derived. A total of 27 adoption factors were derived in the first Delphi investigation. Of the total 27 adoption factors, final 9 adoption factors could be derived by conducting frequency analysis and relative importance analysis. In other words, 9 adoption factors that were derived last were found to be the cost related to tag, relationship with customer firms, compatibility of technology, information technology-based structure, trust and coordination between business firms, intensity of competition within the industry, the standardization of RFID technology, the top management's support and participation degree of client companies. When business firms try to adopt RFID application technology afterwards, concrete and close examination from this point of view was found to be necessary.

Evaluation of Harmless Crack Size of SCM822H Steel by Double Shot Peening (이중 쇼트 피닝에 의한 SCM822H 강의 무해화 균열 크기 평가)

  • In this study, the harmless crack size (ahml) by double shot peening (DSP) using shot balls with different diameters was evaluated on carburized, quenched-tempered SCM822H steel. The minimum crack size (aNDI) detectable by non-destructive inspection was also evaluated. The relationship between the crack size (a25,50) that reduces the fatigue limit by 25% and 50% and ahml was evaluated. The residual stress of DSP was greater in SP(0.6+0.08) than SP(0.8+0.08) and appeared deeper in the depth direction. In addition, the hardness below the surface appeared larger. The fatigue limit of DSP increased 2.07 times and 1.95 times compared to non-SP. All ahml of the DSP specimen was determined at the depth (a). The compressive residual stress distribution affects ahml, and the ahml of SP(0.6+0.08), which has a large compressive residual stress and a high fatigue limit, appeared large. ahml of SP(0.6+0.08) introduced deeper than the residual stress of SP(0.8+0.08) is larger in the range of As=1.0-0.3. Since the residual stress in the thickness direction has a greater effect on ahml than the residual stress at the surface, it is necessary to introduce it more deeply. The relation of ahml, a25,50, and aNDI were evaluated in the point for safety and reliability.

  • The Fourth Industrial Revolution is centered on a personalized demand fulfillment economy and is all about transformation and flexible processing that can deliver what customers want in real time across space and time. This paper implements the construction and operation of a packaging platform that can instantly procure the required packaging products based on real-time orders and evaluates its performance. The components of customer satisfaction are flexible and dependent on the situation which requires efficient management of enterprise operational processes based on an e-SCM platform. An OMS optimized for these conditions plays an important role in maximizing and differentiating the efficiency of a company's operations and improving its cost advantage. OMS is a system of mass customization that provides efficient MOT(Moment of Truth) logistics services to meet the eco-friendly issues of many individual customers and achieve optimized logistics operation goals to enhance repurchase intentions and sustainable business. OMS precisely analyzes the collected data to support information and decision-making related to efficiency, productivity, cost and provide accurate reports. It uses data visualization tools to express data visually and suggests directions for improvement of the operational process through statistics and prediction analysis.

  • As the demand for meat products has steadily increased in Korea, so the livestock industry has full grown. However, the opening of import meat products is taking a toll on the local industry. Cost reduction on livestock feed, which comprises the majority of costs involved in the industry is urgent to gain a competitive edge. As Internet of Things (IoT) technologies are being applied across a multiple of industries, so are the cases of applied Smart Farm technology for efficient production. The following research aims to utilize IoT technologies to measure, in real time, the rate of depletion of feed and remaining amount and to propose an effective automated reorder & delivery system. First, a method of utilization of ultrasonic and temperature/humidity sensors to obtain corresponding data of remaining feed in the Feedbin is proposed. In addition, a method of sending the obtained data via on-the-farm gateway to Supply Chain Management (SCM) servers is proposed. Finally, utilization of the stored data to construct an automated reorder & delivery service system is proposed. It is in the researcher's intention to contribute to and enable the local livestock industry with the application of various IoT services.
