The greenhouse control system for educational purpose is designed by personal computer. This system should observe and control the growth conditions for crops in both plastic film and glass greenhouses. In this contribution puts emphasis on construction of greenhouse control system by personal computer under the aim of creating safer, more effective and more economical services. This system is developed for the requirements of the intelligent greenhouse control system and is powered by solar energy. A photovoltaic system with sun tracking module is used for the greenhouse control system.

The successful elucidation of the opiate receptor and its natural ligands has generated speculation that other drugs might interact with cellular sites designed to accommodate endogenous mediators. The properties of binding sites for the cardiac glycosides(CG), together wit the potency and specificity of the digitalis drugs suggest that CG mimic an endogenous digitalis-like factor. Recenthy, several laboratories have reported the potency in mammalian tissues and fluids of unidentified materials that share certain specific propeties of the CG. Identification of body's own digitalis might yield a natural co pound whose synthetic analogs may provide safer and more effective drugs than can be achieved by structural edification of the CG of plant origin.

In order to search a more active and safer compound, piperine derivatives with substituents in piperidine residue were synthesized and evaluated on CNS depressant activity. N-Piperoyl-2-methylpiperidine (I) and N-piperoyl-3-methylpiperidine (II) were potent in strychnine-induced convulsion. Compound I and N-piperoyl-3-hydroxypiperidine (IX) exhibited a potent inhibitory effect againt pentetrazoleinduced convulsion and a significant prolongation effect of hexobarbital-induced sleeping time. The hydroxy derivatives were more toxic than the methyl derivatives.

There have been various inflammatory skin disorders in humans including atopic dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis. Although some drugs have been used for these disorders, there is an urgent need for safer and more effective topical anti-inflammatory agents. Plant flavonoids possess anti-inflammatory activity and some of them have multiple pharmacological mechanisms, inhibition of eicosanoid metabolizing enzymes, histamine release and/or down-regulation of pro inflammatory gene expression. These properties of flavonoids may be suitable for treating chronic skin inflammatory disorders. Especially, wogonin, some prenylated flavonoids and biflavonoids have a strong potential as new anti-inflammatory agents by topical application.

This paper defines a 3D full core neutronics benchmark which is based on the NuScale small modular reactor (SMR) concept. The paper provides a detailed description of the NuScale-like core, a list of expected outputs, and a reference solution to the benchmark exercises obtained with the Monte Carlo code Serpent. The benchmark was developed in the framework of the Euratom McSAFER project and can be used for verification of computational chains dedicated to 3D full-core neutronics simulations of water cooled SMRs. The paper is supplemented with a digital data set to ease the modeling process.

본 연구는 자질과 역량 있는 신변보호사 인력을 양성하여 전문적이고 안정적인 서비스를 국민들에게 제공함으로써, 서비스이용대상자인 국민들이 보다 안전한 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 하고자 한다. 신변보호사 자격검정제도의 시행목적에 부합하는 제도로의 성장을 위해서는 현행 평가 방식에서 다각도로 수정 보완되어져야 할 것이다. 신변보호사 자격검정제도의 실기시험관련 개선방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체력평가항목이 추가되어져야한다. 둘째, 검정기술의 재정립이 필요시 된다. (제2의 위협이 야기되는 기술은 삭제)(민간인 신분으로 사용할 수 있는 기술 추가) 셋째, 낙법 및 응용동작이 추가되어져야한다. 넷째, 다양한 시작자세에서의 평가가 필요시 된다. 다섯째, 상대와의 거리 및 방향을 다양화하여 평가가 이루어져야 한다.

Construction in the UK is the second most dangerous industry in terms of fatal and minor injuries according to the 2014 report of HSE. The use of mobile devices such as iPad, Tablets and Smart phones on the live construction projects is also on the increase in the UK due to the 2016 - Level 2 BIM (Building Information Modelling) implementation target, set by the UK Government. Hence, the use of such devices may become a distraction from work activities on the construction sites and will cause a major risk to the end users. The subject of improving safety of BIM use is widely researched, but there is a gap in knowledge about the actual use of the mobile devices and perception of 'Site BIM', on the construction site activities. The main gap identified in the 'Site BIM' is the health and safety aspect of using such devices on the construction sites. A safer way of working with such devices needs to be identified to avoid any potential site hazards and fatalities before the widespread use of the devices are found on the construction projects. In that context, the paper is aimed to highlight the safety issues that are required to address for the successful implementation of the mobile devices for safer use of the 'Site BIM'. Questionnaire survey was used to collect the site information among construction professionals in the UK. The survey findings suggested that a proactive approach may be helpful to stop potential hazards and risks causing by the use of mobile devices and potential measures need to be identified before any injuries and incidents occur. The paper concludes that training, changing size of mobile devices and ensuring a separate induction training for 'Site BIM' tools will improve the health and safety of the end users of the mobile devices at the live construction sites.
