  • This investigation engaged elementary and middle school pre-service teachers in a task of modeling and explaining the magnitude of $0.14m^2$ and examined their responses. The study analyzed both successful and unsuccessful responses in order to reflect on the patterns of misconceptions relative to pre-service teachers' prior knowledge. The findings suggest a need to promote opportunities for pre-service teachers to make connections between different domains through meaningful tasks, to reason abstractly and quantitatively, to use proper language, and to refine conceptual understanding. While mathematics teacher educators (MTEs) could use such mathematical tasks to identify the mathematical content needs of pre-service teachers, MTEs generally use instructional time to connect content and pedagogy. More importantly, an early and consistent exposure to a combined experience of mathematics and pedagogy that connects and deepens key concepts in the program's curriculum is critical in defining the important content knowledge for K-8 mathematics teachers.

  • This study explores unified service experience to boost O2O services. Previous studies on service management and marketing only focused on customer experience in offline stores, while prior works on information systems looked only at the experience of services in mobile applications. In this vein, this study took into accounts the characteristics of offline stores and the benefits of their mobile applications. Moreover, the final dependent variable was share of wallet to measure customer's expenditure within the category. The theoretical model was tested based on 219 consumers who frequently visit Starbucks and use its mobile application. PLS method was applied to analysis the research model and hypotheses. The analysis results showed that customer satisfaction about offline store is not significantly related to share of wallet, while satisfaction about mobile application plays a significant role in enhancing share of wallet. Hedonic and social benefits were found to have significant effects on satisfaction about mobile application. The analysis results help establish service marketing and strategies to enhance the unified customer experience of O2O service.

  • In this paper, a USB module with fingerprint recognition was designed as a distributed node of blockchain on distributed ID (DID, distributed ID) for user identification. This biometric-linked fingerprint recognition device was verified for the real-time authentication process of authentication transaction with FIDO(Fast IDentity Online) server. Blockchain DID-based services were proposed like as a method of individual TV rating survey, and recommending service for customized shopping channels, and crypto-currency, too. This DID based remote service can be improved by recognizing of channel-changing information through personal identification. The proposed information of production purchase can be shared by blockchain. And customized service can be provided for the utilization of purchase history in shoppingmall using distributed ID. As a result, this blockchain node-device and Samsung S10 Key-srore with FIDO service can be certified for additional transactions through various biometric authentication like fingerprint, and face recognition.

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore the types of failed service and its effect on customer's negative emotions in the restaurant business and their influence on customer's behavior. The study examines the restaurant attributes of failed service in order to determine which variables have the greatest impact on customer's negative emotions and behaviors. To accomplish the purpose of this study, a casual model is developed - which analyzes the main antecedents, moderators and consequences of failed service in the restaurant business. The findings of this study are as follows. 4 types of failed services are found: lack of tangibles, doubt of reliability, unresponsiveness, no expressed empathy. They have an effect on customer's negative emotions(regret and disappointment). And the customer's negative emotions brings out negative behaviors(bad actions, switching brand, protest, negative word of mouth). Customer's regret causes bad actions and switching brand, and customer's disappointment caused switching brand and bad information by word of mouth.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the educational effects of pre-service mathematics teacher's teaching experiment on problem solving process and to give some suggestions in teacher training curriculum. The central theoretical background of this study is Palya's mathematical problem solving theory. In this study, we selected 21 pre-service mathematics teachers as research subject. And we conducted classroom activity that is constructing their problem-solving teaching design. We collected research data as observation materials, documents, video-service records etc. From these research data, we analysed that pre-service mathematics teacher's teaching experiment on problem solving process showed many significant educational effects. Therefore, we proposed that we need to serve many opportunities of teaching experiment on problem solving process to pre-service mathematics teacher in teacher training curriculum.

  • With mobility-as-a-service(MaaS) drawing attention to its influence and ripple effect around the world, the mobility service market is currently growing rapidly mainly focusing on mobility sharing. In order to preemptively dominate the mobility service market following the full-scale spread of MaaS, it is important to first identify the recognition and experience of users in personal mobility sharing services, which are currently in the early stages of diffusion, and through which to understand the characteristics of potential consumers of the extended mobility service market. Therefore, the study aims to classify the user types of mobility service and establish a future user experience-oriented mobility service strategy using a subjectivity study method, Q methodology.

  • Given the rapid changes in consumer tastes, technology, and competition, companies must develop a steady stream of new products and services. To be a successful product or service and explore the available market, the target market consumers need to be fully acknowledged a new product or service's value or benefit. And at the same time, the presented benefit should satisfy the customer's needs and wants. Therefore, a firm must investigate the target consumers' needs and wants before launching the new product or service. In this paper, we suggest the marketing strategy for newly developed WiBro service in telecommunication industry. We focus on consumer-oriented marketing strategy as well as the technology development process. To explore the customer's value scheme, we employ a self-explicated approach for estimating the customer's part-worth of the different target market in the process of market development stage. And we present the marketing strategy for each market development stages as well.

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to identify the factors influencing service quality in nursing homes, and to develop an evaluation instrument for service quality. Methods: A three-phase process was employed for the study. 1) The important factors to evaluate the service quality in nursing homes were identified through a literature review, panel discussion and focus group interview, 2) the evaluation instrument was developed, and 3) validity and reliability of the study instrument were tested by factor analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ and Cohen's Kappa. Results: Factor analysis showed that the factors influencing service quality in nursing homes were healthcare, diet/assistance, therapy, environment and staff. To improve objectivity of the instrument, quantitative as well as qualitative evaluation approaches were adopted. The study instrument was developed with 30 items and showed acceptable construct validity. The criterion-related validity was a Pearson correlation coefficient of .85 in 151 care facilities. The internal consistency was Cronbach's ${\alpha}$=.95. Conclusion: The instrument has acceptable validity and a high degree of reliability. Staff in nursing homes can continuously improve and manage their services using the results of the evaluation instrument.

Data for analysis are collected 439 students at K women's college in other to examine research questions, t-test and regression test. The results of this analysis are as follows : First, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the college students who had ever experienced social voluntary activity and who had not. Second, The personal characteristics did not give an impact, but their satisfaction was under the influence of institutional support for supervision and altitude of themselves for social service, which were part of the institution characteristics. Third, The social service effectiveness was not affected by the personal characteristics, except influenced by the instituitional characteristits such as degree of compensation an influence on self-esteem. also social welfare and morality were not affected. Fourth, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the impact of service satisfaction on service effectiveness.
