Influence of Exhibition Service Attributes on Customer's Satisfaction and Behavior Intention (전시서비스 속성이 고객만족 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The objectives of the study were to investigate the influence of exhibition service attributes on customers' satisfaction and behavior intention. A method of this study was a survey research. The samples selected were 430 exhibition visitors to KINTEX for 2007 Seoul Motor Show. According to the results of this study, first of all, there is a significant relationship between information service and customer's satisfaction. Second, there is a significant relationship between convenience service and customer's satisfaction. Third, there is a significant relationship between promotion service and visitor's satisfaction to exhibition. Forth, there is a significant relationship between Customer's satisfaction and revisit intention. Fifth, there is a significant relationship between visitor's satisfaction to exhibition and recommendation intention. The result of this study will be helpful for the exhibition industries, giving needs to establish the marketing strategies.

Efficient Service Discovery Scheme based on Clustering for Ubiquitous Computing Environments (유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 클러스터링 기반 효율적인 서비스 디스커버리 기법)

  • In ubiquitous computing environments, service discovery to search for an available service is an important issue. In this paper, we propose an efficient service discovery scheme that is combined a node id-based clustering service discovery scheme and a P2P caching-based information spreading scheme. To search quickly a service, proposed scheme store key information in neighbor's local cache and search services using it's information. We do not use a central look up server and do not rely on flooding. Through simulation, we show that the proposed scheme improves the performance of response time and network load compared to other methods.

  • 현재의 MDS 시스템은 제한적인 캐슁에 따른 불필요한 그리드 정보서비스 서버 접근, 다양한 응용 사용자를 위한 최적의 자원 정보 발견의 어려움 및 DIT내의 노드 결함 또는 네트워크 단절에 따른 서비스 중단의 문제점 등을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 그리드 컴퓨팅을 위한 미들웨어인 Globus의 정보 서비스 시스템인 MDS 의 확장을 기술한다. 제안된 회장 시스템은 자원 접근 및 발견을 위해 P2P 기반의 결함 포용을 갖는 강건하고 적응형 정보 서비스를 제공하기 위한 모델설계를 구현하였다. 특히, 그리드 정보서비스는 단일 기점 결함(Single-point failure) 문제를 내포하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 확장된 그리드 정보서비스 아키텍츄어 설계를 제안하고 Apples를 기반으로 한 결함 검출 시스템을 구성하였다.

Impact of Business Incubator's Support Service and Manager's Capabilities on the Start-Up Performance (창업보육센터 지원서비스와 매니저 역량이 입주기업의 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This article investigates the impact of business incubator's support service and manager's capabilities on the start-up economic performance. BI's support services consist of physical infra, management/legal service, networking service, financial service, technical service, and education/training service. The results show that most BI's support services(except education/training service) have a positive effect on the start-up economic performance. This study also analyzes the gap between the importance and the satisfaction of BI's services. The results show that the satisfaction of BI's services is much lower than the importance. It can be explained that the start-ups' expectations are not able to meet. In conclusion, BI's services have a major impact on the start-up economic performance, but actually they didn't meet the expectation of the start-ups. In the future, the quality level of BI's services and manager's capabilities needs to be improved. The improvement will have a positive effect on the survival and growth of the startups.

  • 방송과 통신이 융합되면서 새로운 서비스들이 등장하고 있는데 서비스만 보고서는 방송서비스인지 통신서비스인지 분간이 힘든 기술들이 다수 등장하고 있다. 최근 스마트TV가 방송, 통신, 컴퓨팅의 대표적인 서비스로 부각되면서 멀티플랫폼 연동의 하이브리드 미디어서비스가 다양하게 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 방송통신 융합서비스에 대해서 두 매체 간의 연관여부에 따라 2가지로 서비스를 분류하고 각 분류된 방식에 따른 다양한 하이브리드 미디어서비스의 실제 구현사례를 소개한다. 소개되는 서비스에는 개인형 홈스크린, 앱스토어, 콘텐츠 검색 및 추천, 패밀리톡, 대면 통신을 포함하는 스마트TV 홈스크린 기반 미디어 융합서비스와 하이브리드광고 서비스, 멀티앵글뷰 서비스, 멀티오디오 서비스를 포함하는 스마트TV 하이브리드 미디어서비스이다. 본 논문에서는 모든 서비스가 HTML5 기반의 웹브라우저에서 동작하도록 구현하였다.

Implementing Multicast Service on College Campus (멀티캐스트 학내 방송서비스 구현)

  • Most of the colleges run their own broadcasting stations. They provide diverse types of content, and nowadays many colleges even provide video content. This paper deals with the concept of multicast service as a solution to provide efficient broadcasting service on the college campus. For this purpose, it examines concept and characteristics of the multicast service. It also reviews the actually case of such service provided by S college in Seoul, focusing on its platform, major functions, and scenario. I expect what's discussed in this paper contribute to effective implementing and operating of a college broadcasting service. Also, multicast service introduced in this paper is applicable to the various organizational environment such as private companies and institutions as well as colleges.

  • Voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP) service becomes more and more popular nowadays. As such, it is developed over many kinds of network models, especially wireless networks. Mean Opinion Score(MOS) computes the QoS of VoIP service which should be supported by robust network environment. However, MANET is not stable enough to supply high MOS values for VoIP service. In this paper, VoIP service over MANET is simulated using ns-2(Network Simulation 2). In oder to get different MOS values in the results, we differentiate between network environments by adjusting the parameters of MANET.Through comparing the results we can know how to improve the QoS.

  • There is a lot of recent research to provide services of dynamic distributed contents in P2P-based distributed environment. Distributed services of contents objects, however, have problems in QoS and dynamic management of segments. This paper proposed a new segment management method for the service of P2P-based distributed contents. The proposed method manages groups by the SGM(Segment Group Manager). The SGM manages streaming efficiently by the grouping of segments to be served in P2P environment. The segments in the same group cooperate for improved QoS using the management structure based on the distance and relationship. The distance-based management structure is for the improvement of retrieval efficiency while the relationship-based management structure is for the improvement of service ratio. The simulation results of the proposed method showed improvements in average transmission efficiency and average service rate. The improvement is 8% - 30% in average transmission efficiency and 10% - 30% in average service rate.

  • In this paper, we define and design the Streaming as a Service (StraaS) to support streaming service based on cloud computing. And we describe the various function and security to StraaS service. Specially, we introduce KS-MMA(Key-generation System for Multilateral Matching Authentication) and SIES(Searchable Image Encryption System) as security function for streaming service and cloud computing.
