네트워크에서 QoS를 보장하기 위해 최근에 제안되는 패킷 스케줄링 알고리즘은 대부분 우선 순위에 입각한 패킷 전송 서비스를 한다. 이러한 우선 순위를 유지하기 위한 큐의 관리에는 많은 비용이 들므로 QoS를 보장하는 네트워크에서 우선 순위 큐의 관리 비용을 줄이는 노력이 필요하다. 패킷 스케줄링 알고리즘 중 RPO+(Rotate Priority Queue)는 우선 순위 FIFO(First in first out)큐를 사용하여 주기 적으로 재명명되는 패킷 스케줄링 알고리즘이다. FIFO 큐에 패킷들을 근사 정렬하여 패킷의 우선 순위를 유지하므로 계산 복잡도를 줄이지만, 패킷 우선 순위를 유지하기 위해 2배(2P)의 큐를 필요로 한다.[1] 본 논문에서는 필요한 큐의 개수를 P개의 큐로 제한하여 큐에 대한 관리 비용을 줄였으며 엔터프라이즈 환경에서 애플리케이션이 요구하는 서비스 특성에 따라 클래스로 구분하여 적합한 패킷 스케줄링 서비스를 제공하는 알고리즘을 제시한다. 본 기법은 추가적인 오버플로우 큐를 관리하고 패킷 어드미션 컨트롤러를 통해 패킷 전송 지연 시간을 제한함으로 다양한 애플리케이션의 네트워크 QoS 요구를 보장하고 패킷 전손 효율을 높였다.

TV 시청 도중 세컨드 디바이스로 멀티태스킹하는 시청패턴과 더불어 방송과 시청자가 상호작용하는 양방향 서비스 요구사항의 증대에 따라 KBS는 시청자 참여 서비스를 위한 티벗 서비스 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 티벗 서비스 플랫폼은 모바일에 특화된 시청자 방송 참여 서비스 플랫폼을 지향한다. 이러한 티벗 서비스 플랫폼 개발 결과의 핵심은 '손쉬운 시청자 참여 서비스 적용 프로그램 확대'가 가능하다는 점이다. 본 논문에서는 시청자 참여 서비스 플랫폼인 티벗이 더욱 강화된 참여 서비스를 위해 사용자와 제작자의 요구를 반영하여 개선한 기능을 제안한다. 제안한 기능은 시청자와 소통하는 최근 제작 트렌드에 맞추어 TV 프로그램 제작에의 활용성과 시청자의 편의성을 개선시켰다. 또한, 개선된 기능을 적용한 방송 프로그램 사례에 대해 살펴본다.

이동 네트워크 환경에서 멀티미디어 서비스의 등장으로 사용자의 요구 사항은 단순한 서비스의 제공 뿐만 효율적이며 질적인 만족을 중요시 하기 시작되었다. RSVP 를 중심으로 Internet QoS 서비스에 대한 기술들을 살펴보고 이동 네트워크 환경에서의 문제점과 이를 해결하기 위한 노력들을 알아본다. 그리고, 현재 IETF 의 NSIS 워킹그룹을 중심으로 이루어지고 있는 새로운 RSVPv2 에 대해서도 살펴 보자.

This paper proposes a making study model using Ajzen's Theory of planned behavior (TPB) and established hypothesis and then analysed propensity of conflict resolution according to the types of SNS users, usages and conflicts. The results of study, active users of SNS have propensity of resolution for their own conflicts through SNS. The users having conflicts between person and person are same with active users. The results of this study could be referenced to other researches for resolving conflicts in or between people in the future.

We propose and design a fully conversed Ethernet and TDM transport system to guarantee qualify of service for Ethernet packet. Developed convergence system can support not only L2 VPN service and premium multimedia service based on MPLS protocol but also TDM leased line service, simultaneously. Developed convergence system has the advantage of providing high reliability that realizes high-quality and real time communications due to assign QoS profile and guarantee bandwidth per channel consist of VCGs without affect adjacent channels. Evaluation for proposed system was successfully performed within the ling network.

In this paper, we propose a Service-adaptive Tactical Data Transmission Protocol (STTS) based on Satellite Communications with narrow bandwidth. STTS is designed to provide additional field for scalability and scheduler for reliability of transport stream protocol based on digital broadcasting standard, DVB-S and DVB-S2. It is also verified the effects of lost data packets with narrow bandwidth through the simulator by traffic model and re-transmission of critical data, and checked the design considerations based on STTS system.

In high speed packet switching network, packet service by priority scheme prefer to QoS. Efficient packet service according to the priority scheme in high speed packet switch is a key point. Therefore development of priority service algorithm in the packet switch is very important. In this paper, we proposed W-iSLIP algorithm that service time take queue length into consideration and compared the proposed W-iSLIP algorithm to other previous proposed algorithm through simulation. Simulation results show 2.6% performance elevation in average delay, and 34.6% performance elevation in priority service.

P2P 환경은 피어의 유동성과 자원 상태 변화 등 실행 환경 변화가 빈번히 발생한다. 이 논문에서는 가변하는 실행환경에서 피어간 컨텐츠를 지원함에 있어 환경에 잘 적용될 수 있는 오버레이 네트워크를 구성하여 안정적으로 컨텐츠를 분배하는 미들웨어 서비스 구조를 제안하였다. 또한 컨텐츠 전송 중의 결함 감지 서비스를 지원하여 자율적으로 분배 트리를 재 적용한 프로토타입을 통해 실제 환경에서 적용가능성을 확인하였다.

GeoRSS is RSS which contains geospatial information, and it supports to supply diverse kinds of data through mash-up map service like the google map. It helps to implement efficient web service with simple java-scripts, but sometimes initial page loading takes too much time and causes heavy traffic when it includes lots of multimedia data. In this paper, we propose a splitting method of GeoRSS for fast accessing. As the result of experiments, we achieved improvement of browsing speed and reducing of initial data traffic.

This dissertation investigated the evaluation model of IT Service quality: concentrated on the quality components in mobile communication service. Today, mobile communication service is changing dramatically. The first and second generation's mobile communication services were designed for voice and SMS(Short Message Service). However, while the mobile communication industry grows, the mobile technology made more services available for customers. Customers' changing needs brought a new opportunities to the market. Now, mobile communication service is facing a new era as multi-functioning, multimedia service, and high speed data transfer service are being introduced. There has been a lot of theoretical literature on service quality components of mobile communication, but most of the literature was focused on the voice service and SMS(1st and 2nd generation). As mobile communication service evolves, the components may have to be altered or rebuilt. To identify which service quality components ought to be utilized, prior studies on service quality components, service quality, and customer satisfaction were reviewed. Also, a survey was conducted on the various aspects of mobile communication service. This study suggests 6 components of service quality: those are supporting facilities, cellular phone(facilitating goods), quality of the voice service(explicit service), supplementary services, supporting services, and cost. Empirical results supported that all of these components are proven as the service quality components, but, with regards to customer satisfaction, only cellular phone(facilitating goods) and supplementary services are effective. As previously stated, the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction is also proven. This study is a point of departure for the success of upcoming generation's mobile communication service. It identifies what is valuable from the customer's point of view. Furthermore, it suggests some ideas to prepare for future market opportunities.
