  • This research is to establish a theme-type organic edu-farm model and provide ways to practically apply it so as to vitalize urban-rural exchange through the emerging concept of green tourism. This research also traces the practical development of organic edu-farm programs. Organic edu-farm(OEF) should be some of the ideas to develop organic agriculture resources according to the local features, and learn by direct and actual experience a life of organic farm. A few policy suggestions to put OEF model in practical use are proposed. What the state needs to do through direct involvement are to put efforts at demand expansion on organic farm products, to clean and beautify the green rural environmental settings, to build more urban-rural exchange facilities. What is more important, however, is financial support, to create the network and to develop program contents for each OEF operation unit. The OEF model proposed in this research will be applied as a relevant reference in planning and realizing sustainable green tourism at the village level.

  • It is more important than ever to have talent with innovative capacities for sustainable agriculture and rural areas, but adolescents's interest in and understanding of agriculture and rural areas is very low. Therefore, this study analyzed the experiences of participants in the Agriculture Career Exploration Activities Program. and suggests strategies to improve and revitalize agricultural education based on these findings. First, Institutions and facilities that run agricultural education programs need opportunities for self-checks. Second, it is necessary to develop various contents and its distribution channels to enable the experience related to it in daily life. Third, it is important to provide experience in the middle school curriculum, which requires the use of a system such as the Free Semester System. • The purpose of this study is to suggest a actual conditions and expert's role on the green tourism in rural community. There are four types of green tourism in rural villages. It is an alternative tourism that has naturalism and sustainability, not mass tourism. I can find it is a one of the new rural development method in a point of view of rural people's income. Green tourism requires a participation of village peoples. So, management hang on not government office, but village people themselves. By surveying green tourism villages in the case of this study, I propose a few results as follow; firstly, green tourism of Korea will give an innovation to stagnant rural society. Secondly, rural people themselves must participate directly in development and guidance, when every programs are advanced.
