빅데이터 분석 기법을 이용한 실시간 대중교통 경로 안내 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Realtime Public Transport Route Guidance System using Big Data Analysis)

  • 최근 빅데이터 분석을 통해 새로운 정보들을 도출해내기 위한 분석 기법들과 이를 이용한 다양한 서비스들이 개발되고 있다. 그 중에서 빅데이터가 중요하게 활용될 수 있는 분야 중의 하나가 교통 분야이다. 기존 대중교통 안내 서비스의 경우 현재 교통정보를 기준으로 추천하기 때문에 실제로는 최적이 아닌 경로가 추천될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 빅데이터 분석을 통한 실시간 최적 교통 경로 안내 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 설계한 시스템은 실시간 교통정보를 활용함과 동시에 과거 수집된 교통 정보를 분석하여 각 경로들의 교통 상황을 예측하여 경로 이동 계획을 설정해준다. 또한 중간에 교통상황이 급변하여 경로를 수정해야할 필요가 있을 때 사용자에게 알림을 주고 그에 대한 조치를 취할 수 있도록 지원한다.

Integrating Machine Reliability and Preventive Maintenance Planning in Manufacturing Cell Design

  • This paper presents a model for designing cellular manufacturing systems (CMS) by integrating system cost, machine reliability, and preventive maintenance (PM) planning. In a CMS, a part is processed using alternative process routes, each consisting of a sequence of visits to machines. Thus, a level of 'system reliability' is associated with the machines along the process route assigned to a part type. Assuming machine reliabilities to follow the Weibull distribution, the model assigns the machines to cells, and selects, for each part type, a process route which maximizes the overall system reliability and minimizes the total costs of manufacturing operations, machine underutilization, and inter-cell material handling. The model also incorporates a reliability based PM plan and an algorithm to implement the plan. The algorithm determines effective PM intervals for the CMS machines based on a group maintenance policy and thus minimizes the maintenance costs subject to acceptable machine reliability thresholds. The model is a large mixed integer linear program, and is solved using LINGO. The results point out that integrating PM in the CMS design improves the overall system reliability markedly, and reduces the total costs significantly.

Study of damage safety assessment for a ship carrying radioactive waste

  • Ship damage caused by maritime casualties leads to marine pollution and loss of life and property. To prevent serious damage from maritime casualties, several types of safety regulations are applied in ship design. Damage stability regulation is one of the most important safety issues. Designs of ships for long international voyages must comply with these regulations. Current regulations, however, do not consider the characteristics of the operating route of each ship and reflect only ship size and type of cargo. In this paper, a damage safety assessment was undertaken for a ship carrying radioactive waste in actual wave conditions. Damage cases for safety assessment were constructed on the basis of safety regulations and related research results. Hull form, internal arrangement, loading condition and damage condition were modeled for damage safety simulation. The safety simulation was performed and analyzed for 10 damage cases with various wave heights, frequency and angle of attack on an operating route. Based on evaluation results, a design alternative was generated, and it was also simulated. These results confirmed that damage safety analysis is highly important in the design stage in consideration of the operating route characteristics by simulation. Thus a ship designer can improve safety from damage in this manner.

부도수도 항로 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Channel of Pudo-Sudo in Chinhae Man)

  • This study aims at improving the channel of Pudo-sudo in Chinhae-Man according to the development project of the port of Masan, by investigating the design criteria of harbour facilities for the maximum sized ship. The new deep-water route was proposed and according to it the present separation scheme was adjusted appropriately. The width of the deep-water route is suggested to be 350m and would be wide enough for the 30,000 DWT container ship to go through However, the proposed channel will be tested and validated by the shiphandling simulator.

  • Middle Route Project, the largest water conveyance system in China delivers the water of Changjiang River to North China. In order to create canal operation simulation system, mathematical models are established based on the analysis of hydraulics about steady flow, unsteady flow, and check gate. By simulating the canal operation behavior, we improved the check gate control algorithm and predicted the change process of water surface and flow profile which is very valuable to actual canal operation.

  • The objective of this paper is to design the dynamic route guidance system(DRGS) and develop a genetic algorithm(GA) for finding the multiple shortest paths in real traffic network. The proposed GA finds a collection of paths between source and destination considering turn-restrictions, U-turn, and P-turn that are genetically evolved until an acceptable solution is reached. This paper also shows the procedure to find the multiple shortest paths in traffic network of Seoul.

  • 최근 중앙선과 태백선의 국철구간에 대한 복선화 사업이 시작되면서 도심지에 비해 지형이 험준하고 경사가 급한 산악지에서의 철도설계와 공사의 어려움이 예상되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지형이 험준한 산악지에서의 복선철도 신설구간에 대한3차원 지형분석과 가상주행을 통하여 설계 및 시공 이전에 대상지역의 인공위성 영상의 활용을 구체적으로 적용함으로서 좀 더 상세한 지형에 대한 정보수집과 분석 을 시도하였다. 약 15km 구간의 산악지에 대한 3차원 지형분석과 복선철도노선과의 관계를 확인하고 가상주행을 실제 적용해 봄으로서 기존의 방법을 개선할 뿐만 아니라 산악지의 복선철도 구간의 지형분석의 방법을 제시하여 새로운 방법의 가능성을 찾아낼 수 있었다.

복합상업시설에서의 방문객의 경로선택과 통행량에 관한 연구 - 공간구문론과 현장조사 비교연구 - (A Study on Visitors' Circulation Pattern and Amount of Traffic in the Multi-Purpose Commercial Complex)

  • This study investigates the effects of the spatial elements of the mulit-purpose commercial complex on visitors' circulation pattern and wayfinding by employing method of space syntax, observation, and interview survey. Two commercial complexes were investigated; Techno-mart represented a vertical type and COEX mall rendered a horizontal one. Analysis of the spatial elements using space-syntax method provided a base line for comparing analyses by the two other methods. Analysis of the interview additionally survey identified the factors affecting wayfinding behavior and contributing satisfaction. The findings suggest that level of the effects of the spatial configuration on visitors' circulation pattern is greater in Techno-mart(vertically oriented) than COEX(horizontally). In COEX, for instance, specific route that connects sub-way station and cinema complex carries far more traffic than main route, even though the main route indicates higher degree of integration of spatial configuration. Similar with observation, the degree of integration is corresponding with the satisfaction and easiness of wayfinding behavior In COEX, specific place and feature seem to have more effects on visitors' wayfinding behavior and circulation pattern than the level of integration of spatial configuration.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish a crime prevention system through the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). The research method went through the double diamond process and discovered the user's needs through the persona analysis. The most representative features are the functions that informs users of the safe and optimal route, checks the presence of streetlights or cctvs in real time to update them, and allows people with similar routs to return home together. It is a function to help safe return home with the help of an autonomous method, and a self-defense function to protect themselves. Therefore, the application presented in this study was intended to be of great help when actually returning home by adding these new functions. In particular, we help users to return home most safely by recommending the best safe route. Through the persona analysis, research method which we had chosen, the needs of users were discovered and implemented in a design that reflected those needs and requirements.

노선 선정에서 계층분석과정을 이용한 GIS의 적용 (Application of GIS Based AHP for Route Location)

  • 본 연구에서는 계층분석과정에 대한 노선 선정에 요구되는 자료들을 추출 및 이용하여 합리적인 노선 선정의 방법을 제시하였다. 선정된 노선의 결과를 GIS를 이용하여 시각화 및 분석하였으며, 종단선형을 고려한 선형 프로그램을 개발 및 구축하였다. 이러한 연구를 요약하면 GIS 기반의 계층분석과정을 응용하여 생성된 노선을 기준으로 기존 노선의 적정성에 대한 평가를 정량적으로 할 수 있었으며, 신설될 노선에 적용하면 도로 계획 및 기본 설계에 객관적이고 신뢰성 있는 노선의 평가를 할 수 있었다. 기존의 2차원적 정보에 의한 의사결정시스템에서 종단계획까지 고려한 3차원 정보에 의한 의사결정시스템을 적용함으로서 노선 선정기법을 향상시켰고 종단경사, 토공량, 구조물 규모와 위치, 공사비 등의 정보를 독립 변수로 할 수 있으므로 더욱 과학적이고 합리적으로 도로 설계를 할 수 있었다.
