자기베어링 예측 제어 기법의 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Prediction Control Technique for a Magnetic Bearing)

  • Active vibration control methods are required in the high speed rotor systems supported by magnetic bearings. A prediction control technique is one of the control methods. Gain and phase angle are primarily chosen with analyzing the responses for a certain rotor speed. The feasibility of this technique has been reported for only analytical simulations. Therefore this paper constructs the test rig supported by ball bearings with a magnetic bearing type actuator and develops a prediction control system by using LabVIEW and Compact RIO. Finally as rotating speeds are modulated, the gains and phase angles for the speeds are determined with vibration control of the test rig. This leads that the prediction control technique may be applied to the rotor system with the magnetic bearing.

  • In the preceding research, the active balancing device, which is an electro-magnetic type, has been developed and active balancing method using influence coefficient method is also proposed. The stability of active balancing control is studied in this paper. A stable condition for active balancing control is derived by estimating errors of influence coefficients. A gain scheduling control using influence coefficients of the reference model is proposed when dynamic characteristic of rotor system is changed. The stability of the balancing method is verified by experiments.

  • This paper deals with new type of active magnetic bearing (AMB) for the linear motors. We adopted optical sensing mechanism for the gap sensing. Using the laser and the PSD (Position Sensitive Device), the absolute rotor position is obtained independent of the profile of the guide rail. With this measurement, the rotor can be controller to follow the straight beam of the laser. Another advantage of optical sensing mechanism might be the elimination of the possible interference between the proximity sensor and the electro-magnet. By adopting the push-full actuating mechanism, the bearing stiffness is increased near the equilibrium position. For the simplicity, distributed control system is constructed. Eight independent PID control algorithm is used with the full order observer. Several simulation md test results are presented.

  • In a high speed spindle system, it is very important to monitor the state of rotating rotor. Particularly in active control spindle system, the position sensor must provide feedback to the control system on the exact position of the rotor. In order to monitor the state of a high speed spindle exactly, high accuracy and wide frequency bandwidth of sensors are important. This paper observes the factors which has an effect on dynamic performances of inductive position sensor.

  • In doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs), control of rotor currents allows for adjustable speed operation, active, and reactive power control. This paper presents a DFIG control strategy that enhances the active and reactive power control with controllers that can compensate for the errors caused by current measurement path in the DFIG system. The errors can be divided into two categories: offset and scaling errors. These can induce the speed, active, and reactive power pulsations, which are one and two times the fundamental slip frequency in the DFIG. And these undesirable ripples can do the DFIG harm. In this paper, a new compensation algorithm is proposed. Therefore, the proposed algorithm has several advantages: to implement is easy; it require less computation time; it is robust with regard to the variation of the induction generator parameters. In this paper, a new algorithm is introduced by using the integral of phase currents to measure the current ripples of rotor-side converterin the DFIG system. The experiment results are shown the effectiveness of the proposed method.

고속 비행의 Lift-offset 복합형 헬리콥터 기체의 능동 진동 제어 시뮬레이션 (Active Airframe Vibration Control Simulations of Lift-offset Compound Helicopters in High-Speed Flights)

  • This paper studies the simulations of active airframe vibration controls for the Sikorsky X2 helicopter with a lift-offset coaxial rotor. The 4P hub vibratory loads of the X2TD rotor are obtained from the previous work using a rotorcraft comprehensive analysis code, CAMRAD II. The finite element analysis software, MSC.NASTRAN, is used to model the structural dynamics of the X2TD airframe and to analyze the 4P vibration responses of the airframe. A simulation study using Active Vibration Control System(AVCS) with Fx-LMS algorithm to reduce the airframe vibrations is conducted. The present AVCS is modeled using MATLAB Simulink. When AVCS is applied to the X2TD airframe at 250 knots, the 4P longitudinal and vertical vibration responses at the specified airframe positions, such as the pilot seat, co-pilot seat, engine deck, and prop gearbox, are reduced by 30.65 ~ 94.12 %.

  • 본 논문에서는 헬리콥터 로터 시스템의 진동과 소음을 저감시키기 위해 개발이 진행 중인 능동거니플랩(AGF, Active Gurney Flap)에 대해 유한요소법을 이용하여 수행된 동특성 해석결과를 소개하였다. 거니플랩은 평판의 형태로 블레이드 하부 표면에 수직인 방향으로 전개되며, 블레이드 뒷전(T/E, Trailing Edge) 부위에 장착된다. 거니플랩 조립체는 전기모터와 L-형 링키지 및 플랩 등의 부품들로 구성되어 블레이드 내부에 장착되며, 고정프레임에서의 진동 성분들을 감소시키기 위해 3~5/rev 범위로 능동적인 제어가 필요하다. 따라서 외연적 시간적분법을 통해 로터 회전에 의한 원심력과 제어입력이 적용되고 있는 상황에서 거니플랩의 동적 응답특성을 분석하였으며, 해석 결과를 통해 거니플랩의 하향변위 요구도를 만족시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

개별 블레이드 조종을 통한 로터 허브 진동 저감 해석 (Rotor Hub Vibration Reduction Analysis Applying Individual Blade Control)

  • S -76 모델을 기준으로 해석을 통해 개별 블레이드에 대한 고조화 가진에 따른 로터 허브 진동 수준을 분석하였다. 개별 블레이드에 대한 고조화 가진 방법은 회전부에 있는 피치링크 자체에서 추가적인 가진력을 발생하는 방법(Actuating by Individual Pitch-link)과 블레이드 능동 뒷전 플랩조절을 통해 가진력을 발생하는 방법(Active Trailing Edge Flap)으로 구분하였다. 100kts의 전진비행 조건에서 개별 블레이드에 대한 2P/3P/4P/5P 조화 가진을 15도의 위상각을 변경시켜가며 허브 하중 해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과를 통해 가진 조건에 따른 로터 시스템의 민감도를 확인하였으며 이 정보를 기반으로 로터 시스템의 특성을 나타내는 전달 행렬(T-matrix)을 구성하였다. 그리고 전달 행렬을 통해 비행조건에 대해 허브 진동 수준을 최소화하는 최적의 고조화 가진 조건을 도출하였다. 그리고 최소 허브 진동 조건에서 로터 시스템의 성능 및 피치링크 하중에 대한 영향성과 더불어 소음해석을 통한 소음 영향성도 확인하였다.

능동형 자기 베어링 시스템의 설계 및 제어 (A Design and Control of an Active Magnetic Bearing System)

  • In this paper, an active magnetic bearing(AMB) system is designed and controlled using a digital Proportional-Integral-Derivative(PID) control concept. The plant dynamics consisting of actuator and rigid rotor dynamics are described. A digital PID controller with a global control and a local control concept is designed and implemented using digital signal processor. Some experiments are conducted with each global control and local control concept. These include start-up test, impulse test, whirl response, and generator load test. The experimental results and comparison between those of a global control and a local control indicate that the global control of concept has impressive static and dynamic control performance for the prototype considered. From the whirl test, the developed system set can be controlled within about $\pm10\mu\textrm{m}$ gap variation at the rotational speed of 6000rpm and generate the AC power of frequency of $60\textrm{Hz}$, voltage of 100V and current of 0.8$\textit{A}$.
