Purpose: This study's purpose is to explore the relationship between entrepreneurial marketing orientation on new product development performance via marketing and innovation capabilities. Research design, data, and methodology: This research has applied a survey method which involved 159 respondents from food retailers among Michelin Guide Restaurants in Thailand. The literature's existing measurement scales were used to operationalize the constructs proposed in this study. The analyses were conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypotheses. Results: The results have shown that new product development performance received positive and direct impacts from entrepreneurial marketing orientation, particularly in three dimensions: customer value orientation, opportunity-driven initiatives, and leveraged resources. Likewise, new product development performance received a positive, indirect impact from opportunity-driven initiatives, risk management, customer value orientation, and innovation that is focused on marketing and innovation capabilities. Conclusions: The results are useful for Thai food retailers as to strategy formulation in order to attract tourists from all over the world to tourist destinations in Thailand. Therefore, this empirical study is extremely important for domestic economic development and the international economy. These findings provide theoretical and managerial contributions for developing competitive strategies which will lead to sustainable business practices, as well as for providing future research directions.

The purpose of this study was to investigate two aspects of high school boys' clothing attitudes as compared with their family value orientations and sex role attitudes. Family value orientations were measured through the Home Environment Inventory (Won Sik Jung: 1970). Sex role attitudes were measured through Osmond and Martin's Sex Role Attitude Scale. Clothing Attitudes: 1) Clothing Modesty was assessed by means of Kim; Won: Kim: and Lee's questionnaires, 2) Clothing Importance n?as assessed by means of Jung: Park: ana. Kirby'a questionnaires. The questionnaires were administered to a sample of 561 senior high school boys in Seoul. The data was analyzed by correlation. The results were as follows: 1) Traditional family value orientation was positively related to Clothing Modesty. 2) Materialistic family value orientation was positively related to Clothing Importance. 3) Sex role attitudes were not related to Clothing Importance and Clothing Modesty. 4) The attitude for the clothes controlled to wear is different with each other among the students, parents and teachers.
This study examined the relationship among constructs that impact on strategic use of IS(Information Systems). Independent variables were OIQ(Organizational Intelligence Quotient) and role of CIO(Chief of Information Officer) as a top manager, and dependent variable are strategic use of IS. The dependent variable has three-sub constructs: 1) IT infrastructure flexibility; 2) operation-orientation; and 3) market-orientation. Seven research hypotheses derived from the research model, and were empirically tested using the PLS (Partial Least Squares) method. The research results confirmed that both OIQ and CIO's roles have strong impact on organizations' strategic use of IS. Communication and business network among the sub-constructs of OIQ have effect on strategic use of IS. CIO's role as a top manager was found to be significant. CIO's role as a resource allocator and innovator among the CIO's roles showed significant influence on strategic use of IS. OIQ was also significantly related to CIO's role as a top manager. This study suggests practical implications and insights to the enterprises which aim to apply IT strategically.

Purpose: At the end of the pandemic, many digital startups had negative performances. For that, this study aims to analyze the mediating role of entrepreneurial competence and digital entrepreneur career maturity. Seven hypotheses were proposed, namely the effect of entrepreneurship orientation, digital entrepreneurship experience, and digital entrepreneur career maturity on digital entrepreneurial competence, the effect of digital entrepreneurial experience on digital entrepreneurial career maturity, the influence of entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurial competence, and digital entrepreneur career maturity on business performance. Research design, data and methodology: The population is digital entrepreneurs in Central Java, Indonesia with a business duration of more than 4 years. The number of samples as many as 184 people were carried out by questionnaire distribution through face-to-face, email, and Google forms. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling was used to test the path coefficient statistics. Results: The results showed that all the hypotheses proposed were accepted. Digital entrepreneurial competencies and digital entrepreneurial career maturity are also proven to have a mediating role. Conclusions: The findings of this study can contribute to the development of digital entrepreneurship research. Practically, the government's role is needed to facilitate the three main elements of digital business: e-commerce, payment methods, and distribution channels.

The aim of this study was to identify students' views on the orientation of science and to investigate the relationship between their views and decision-making on socio-scientific issues (SSI). In this study, 27 university students attending a science course were asked to discuss four controversial issues: the Toyota recall, the green car, the global warming and swine influenza (influenza A (H1N1)). The study was comprised of two stages. At the first stage, we examined students' views on the nature of science and on the orientation of science with the open-ended questionnaire based on VNOS and VOSTS. While they held relatively similar views on the nature of science, their views on the orientation of science were distinct as pragmatic, intrinsic, communal and ethical views. At the second stage, to examine the role of their views on the orientation of science in decision-making, we selected four students who had similar views on NOS but different views on the orientation of science. The four students were selected from each group of views on the orientation of science and their decision-making processes were analyzed following grounded theory. Across SSIs, they relied upon their views on the orientation of science as the strategies for decision, though considered different perception, and causal and contextual conditions. This study indicates that understanding students' views on the orientation of science would be helpful for achieving scientific literacy for informed decision.
Purpose - This study examines the role of foodservice franchisee's perceived justice(distributive, procedural, and interactional) in developing long-term orientation to franchisor and investigate the mediating role of cohesiveness and relationship satisfaction in the relationship between franchisee's perceived justice and long-term orientation to franchisor. Research design, data, and methodology - We collected data from managers and owners in foodservice franchisees located in Seoul, Korea. Among a total of 500 questionnaires, 500 questionnaires were returned. After excluding 36 invalid respondent questionnaires, 496 valid questionnaires(response rate of 99.2%) were analyzed using frequency, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations analysis, and structural equation modeling with SPSS 21 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result - The findings of this study are as follows: First, distributive justice and interactional justice had positive effects on cohesiveness, but procedural justice did not. Second, distributive justice and interactional justice had positive effects on relationship satisfaction, but procedural justice did not. Third, cohesiveness and relationship satisfaction had positive effects on franchisee's long-term orientation to franchisor. Conclusions - The implications of this study are as follows. First, this study found that procedural justice can create a high cohesiveness and identification of franchisee and also maintain a cooperative relationship with the franchisor. Second, this findings suggest that the perceived distributional and interactional justice can improve the satisfaction with the franchisor and thus positively influence the intention to maintain the relationship and the intention to recontract. Third, the results of this study indicate that the cohesiveness of franchisees can play a pivotal role to improve their satisfaction with the franchisor and pursue mutual development by continuously maintaining stable business relationship with franchisor. The findings of this study are subject to at least three limitations. First, the research subject is limited to the food service franchise shops in Seoul area, so the sample was not nationally representative of the franchise stores. Second, the perceived fairness is measured only from the point of view of the franchisee, and this study has a limitation to examine the difference between the perceived franchisee's and franchisor's justice. Third, Future research needs to identify more closely the relationships between perceived fairness and long-term orientation by gathering specific quantitative data such as the renewal rate and the business performance.

The creative industry has an important role in economic development, but creative economy entrepreneurs still face many problems in business development and sustaining their businesses. The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of entrepreneurship orientation, innovative product advantages, and social network quality on business performance to help companies stay competitive. The research uses a quantitative approach with the population being the owner of the creative industry in Semarang City, Central Java, Indonesia. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling, obtained as many as 126 creative industry owners. Data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The findings of this study show that entrepreneurial orientation, innovative product advantage, and social network quality have a positive effect on the business performance of the creative industry in Semarang City, Central Java, Indonesia. According to the study, a company with superior resources can win the competition and achieve business sustainability. When compared to competing organizations, the benefits of resources and competitive ability will create a competitive edge. As a result, stakeholders such as the government, the corporate sector, and universities are expected to play a larger role in accelerating the growth and development of creative industries.
The purpose of this study is to propose an effective leadership in the hospital management by analyzing the relationship of the effect of the specialty hospital CEO's leadership on the employees' organizational effectiveness as well as the customer orientation, and the mediation effects of the organizational effectiveness on the relation between hospital CEO's leadership and the customer orientation. The questionnaires of the survey targeting the 99 specialty hospitals were collected that 786 copies of them were utilized in analysis. The major outcomes of the research can be summarized as follows. Firstly, transformational leadership of specialty hospital CEO generally has the greater impact on the employees' job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention than his transactional leadership. Secondly, the most important sub-variable of specialty hospital CEO leadership affecting the organizational effectiveness of the employees are charisma of transformational leadership and contingent reward of transactional leadership. Thirdly, the sub-variable of specialty hospital CEO leadership which has the greatest impact on customer orientation of employees is the active management-by-exception of transactional leadership. Fourthly, the sub-variables in the organizational effectiveness such as job satisfaction, organizational commitment and the turnover intention of hospital employees play mostly the partial mediation role between the customer orientation of employees and the leadership of a specialty hospital CEO. This means that the more the organizational effectiveness of specialty hospital employees improves, the more the customer orientation does. Thus, specialty hospital CEOs need to pay attention to the sub-variables in organizational effectiveness so as to improve the customer orientation of the employees. To explore further the nature of the effect of hospital leadership in the future, apart form the variables of the organization effectiveness used in this study to improve the customer orientation of employees through the leadership of the specialty hospital CEO, the research to identify other factors which have greater influence and explanatory power will be needed.
Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate the moderating effects of social capital on antecedents factors path of export performance in the materials and components SMEs(Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) of Busan and Kyungnam region. In case of materials and components SMEs, they are always trying to achieve business performance including export sales and market share, but it is difficult for them to increase performance due to the limitation of inner & tangible resources. Therefore intangible asset such as technology capability and its antecedents factors which are technology innovation and learning orientation are getting more important to SMEs. In addition, it is supposed that social capital such as local network including distribution channel in overseas market plays an essential role to enhance export performance. Accordingly, the main goal of this study is to find out the relationship between export performance and antecedents factors and the validity of social capital as a moderating valuable. Research design, data, and methodology - Technology innovation, learning orientation and technology capability have been used as antecedents factors for export performance and social capital such as network diversity and intensity has been used for moderating effects analysis. In order to select these valuables mentioned above, this study examined the existing researches on a basis of Resources Based View, Organizational Learning Theory and Social Capital theory. To achieve the objective of this paper, 7 hypotheses including the moderating effects have been proposed with 6 potential variables measured by 24 questions. The survey was carried out from December 2014 to March 2015 and 137 samples out of total 175 were selected for the analysis. PLS(Partial Least Squares) has been used for the methodology of empirical analysis for both antecedents factors path and moderating effects. Results - Research findings are as follows. First, technology innovation has a significant impact on learning orientation, learning orientation has a positive effect on the technology capability and technology capability also has a significant impact on export performance. Therefore 3 valuables are proved as antecedents factors of export performance. Second, the social capital(both network diversity and intensity) plays a moderating role with learning orientation to technology capability. However, there is no moderating effects between both of social capital and technology capability regarding export performance. Conclusions - According to path analysis results, it is suggested that the materials and components SMEs should raise technology innovation and learning orientation in order to improve technology capability and export performance. Meantime, the moderating effect analysis shows that SMEs should consider local network diversity and intensity along with learning orientation to add up technology capability. But local network diversity and intensity does not work systematically with technology capability for export performance and it means that SMEs should find the appropriate local partners for the purpose of establishing concrete distribution channels based on marketing perspective, not for improving technology capability.

Around the world, public access to information plays a crucial role in improving lives and facilitating development. People, technology, and information, which also represent common themes of i-Schools, are deemed relevant in adapting to these global challenges. The main purpose of this research is to identify the orientation of curriculums in LIS Schools in South Korea toward technology, information, and people for graduate schools of library and information science. This research also correlates the directions of the schools with the UN 2030 Agenda. Using the Wilson model, this study examines the orientation of courses offered. The result of classification and content analysis revealed that courses offered are leaning towards technology and information content. Courses reviewed in the light of developing knowledge and skills of information professionals to facilitate the fulfillment of global goals can make libraries more responsive to the changing times.
