Many experimental studies have evaluated the in-plane behavior of reinforced concrete frames in order to understand mechanisms that resist progressive collapse. The effects of transverse beams, frames and slabs often are neglected due to their probable complexities. In the present study, an experimental and numerical assessment is performed to investigate the effects of transverse beams on the collapse behavior of reinforced concrete frames. Tests were undertaken on a 3/10-scale reinforced concrete sub-assemblage, consisting of a double-span beam and two end columns within the frame plane connected to a transverse frame at the middle joint. The specimen was placed under a monotonic vertical load to simulate the progressive collapse of the frame. Alternative load paths, mechanism of formation and development of cracks and major resistance mechanisms were compared with a two-dimensional scaled specimen without a transverse beam. The results demonstrate a general enhancement in resistance mechanisms with a considerable emphasis on the flexural capacity of the transverse beam. Additionally, the role of the transverse beam in restraining the rotation of the middle joint was evident, which in turn leads to more ductile behavior. A macro-model was also developed to further investigate progressive collapse in three dimensions. Along with the validated numerical model, a parametric study was undertaken to investigate the effects of the removed column location and beam section details on the progressive collapse behavior.

LMTT(Linear Motor-based Transfer Technology)는 항만 자동화를 위한 컨테이너 터미널용 수평 이송 장치이며, rail과 shuttle car(mover)에 부착된 stator module로 구성된 PMLSM(Permanent Magnetic Linear Synchronous Motor)에 의해 구동된다. 본 논문은 inner beam과 outer beam의 높이비가 LMTT용 shuttle car의 frame 강도 및 강성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 설계변수는 inner beam의 단면형상 및 높이비로 설정하였으며, 유한요소해석을 통하여 설계변수가 frame의 강도 및 강성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다.

저속촬영이 가능한 현미경을 통해 얻어진 세포동영상에서 세포활동의 추적 및 분석은 종양의 전이, 바이러스의 침입, 상처회복, 세포분열과 같은 복잡한 생물학적 과정을 이해하는데 있어 매우 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 세포추적의 자동화를 위해서는 각 프레임에서의 세포검출, 전후 프레임 내 세포들의 상관관계 조사, 새로운 세포의 인식 및 세포분열의 확인 등과 같은 일련의 작업들이 수행되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위한 효과적인 자동 세포 추적 알고리즘을 제시한다. 첫 번째 프레임에서는 세포영역의 특성 분석을 통해 얻어진 특징벡터를 이용하여 각 세포의 마커 영역을 추출하고, 여기에 워터쉐드 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 세포 분할을 수행한다. 연속된 프레임들에서는 이전 프레임의 분할결과를 이용하여 현재 프레임에서의 분할 과정이 수행된다. 그리고 각 세포의 기하학적 특성과 밝기 특성의 결합 비용함수를 사용하여 전후 프레임 간 세포의 올바른 상관관계를 조사함으로써 세포 추적의 정확도를 개선한다. 실험에서 세포영상 분석을 위한 소프트웨어 패키지인 CellProfiler와의 비교/분석을 통해 제안 알고리즘의 효율성을 입증하였다.

온라인게임은 인간과 기계의 상호작용적 실행을 연결하여 서사적 구조를 완성해가는 프로그램이다. 실재성이 발생할 수 있는 상황-맥락과 그 맥락적 관계를 생산하는 실행들게임 참가자들은 사소한 여가활동으로 게임을 시작하지만 곧 진지해지곤 한다. 게임이용자들은 그 세계에서 일종의 실재성을 경험하는 것이다. 이 논문은 "무엇이 실재인가?"라는 전통적인 물음을 하는 대신 "어떻게 실재가 발생하는가?"라는 새로운 물음을 전개해나갈 것이다. 특히 과학기술학의 이론적 개념을 정보통신기술 위에서 작동하는 이미지(표상)에 적용하여, 에 초점을 둔다. 이용자들과 게임시스템은 상호적 실행을 통하여 서로의 관계를 자기-참조적으로 강화해가며 고유한 시-공간 프레임(space-time frame)을 구성할 수 있다. 그러한 프레임은 기술적 텍스트적 표상적 역사적 문화적 경제적 사회적인 차원의 이질적인 실행들이 뒤엉킨 물질-기호적 장(material-semiotic field)이다. 그 안에서 게임이미지는 자신의 위치를 가지게 되고, 그 순간 두께를 가진 실재로서 간주된다. 이로써 정보통신기술이 매개하는 전자적 표상(텍스트나 이미지)에 대한 우리의 경험은 우리가 참여하는 시-공간 프레임에 의존한다는 함축을 확인할 수 있다.

Motion estimation plays an important role for video coding. In this paper, we derive optimal search patterns for fast block matching motion estimation. By analyzing the block matching algorithm as a function of block shape and size, we can find an optimal search pattern for initial motion estimation. The proposed idea, which has been verified experimentally by computer simulations, can provide an analytical basis for the current MPEG-2 proposals. In order to choose a more compact search pattern for BMA, we exploit the statistical relationship between the motion and the frame difference of each block.

The purpose of this study was (1) to analyze concept and types of residential mobility (2) to compare of the residential mobility in the fields of different disciplives, and (3) to develop a conceptual framework of residential mobility on the ecosystem approach comparisons of residential mobility concepts in many discipines. The major findings were each disciple played an important role to develop the concept of residential mobility with some limitations. A conceptual frame-work was developed on the basis of these findings.

Block-matching motion estimation plays an important role in video coding. In this paper, we propose an Efficient Search Algorithm for Fast Motion Estimation. The proposed algorithm detects motion variation for reducing computational complexity before determining motion vector. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has good performance than conventional algorithms through quantitative evaluation.

의미 역 결정 (Semantic Role Labeling)은 문장의 각 요소들의 의미 관계를 파악하는 연구 분야로써 어휘 중의성 해소와 더불어 자연언어처리에서의 의미 분석에서 매우 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 그러나 한국어의 경우에는 의미 역 결정에 필요한 언어 자원이 구축되지 못하여 연구의 진행이 매우 미진한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 의미 역 결정에 필요한 언어 자원 중에서 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 PropBank의 한국어 버전의 구축을 위한 시작 단계로써 자동 술어-논항 분석기를 개발하였다. 자동 술어-논항 분석기는 크게 의미 어휘 사전과 자동 술어-논항 추출기로 구성된다. 의미 어휘 사전은 한국어 동사의 격틀 정보를 구축한 사전이며 자동 술어-논항 추출기는 구문 표지 부착된 말뭉치로부터 특정 술어와 관련있는 논항의 의미 부류를 결정하는 모듈이다. 본 논문에서 개발된 자동 술어-논항 분석기는 향후 한국어 PropBank의 구축을 용이하게 할 것이며, 궁극적으로는 한국어 의미 역 결정에 큰 역할을 할 것이다.
