폴리우레탄을 이용한 자전거도로의 탄성포장재 특성 (Characteristic of Elastic Paving Materials in Bicycle Road using Polyurethane)

  • In this study, characteristic of elastic paving materials in bicycle road using polyurethane were studied experimentally. As a results, following their good result was obtained. Bicycle road packaging materials are flexural strength g test, ratio of mass change after freezing and thawing, repulsion elasticity test, water Permeation coefficient test and slip resistance test results showed good performance.

탐색적 요인분석을 이용한 도로특성분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on Road Characteristic Classification using Exploratory Factor Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 기존의 도로기능 분류체계를 보완하면서 유형화된 도로구간들의 교통특성을 규명하기 위해 새로운 관점에서 도로특성분류 개념을 정립하였다. 도로특성분류는 교통계획, 교통운영관리 등의 교통전반으로 설계 및 정책을 수립하고 지침을 마련하는데 중요한 판단자료로 이용될 것으로 기대된다. 또한, 도로특성분류를 위해 일반국도 상시지점 조사자료를 토대로 12개의 설명변수를 산출하였으며, 이 설명변수들간의 상호상관을 통한 잠재구조 및 다중공선성 검토, 요인점수를 추출하는 탐색적 요인분석을 수행하였다. 연구 방향은 탐색적 요인분석의 각 실행단계별 접하게 되는 의사결정 문제를 세밀하게 검토하였으며, 각 논점별로 올바른 평가기준 방법을 제시하여 최종적인 종합결론을 도출하였다. 적정 설명변수와 요인 수를 결정하기 위해 10개의 시나리오를 비교분석한 결과, 처음 제시한 12개의 설명변수를 모두 포함한 경우가 가장 우수한 것으로 분석되었으며, 4개의 요인이 가장 적정한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 추후에 다양한 분석방법(군집분석, 회귀분석, 판별분석 등)에 있어서 객관적인 입력자료로 사용됨에 따라 보다 정확한 연구결과가 도출될 것으로 기대된다.

지도영상에서의 도로정보 자동추출 알고리즘 (An Automatic Extraction Algorithm of Road Information in a Map Image)

  • 본 논문에서는 지도영상의 도로정보를 자동으로 추출할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 복잡한 지도영상에서 도로영상만을 추출한다. 추출된 영상은 세선화 방법에 의해 도로의 골격만으로 이루어진 영상으로 변환된다. 세선화된 영상은 여러 종류의 문제점을 포함한다. 이러한 문제점을 보정하기 위해 도로의 특성을 나타내는 Rutovitz 연결수에 의해 분류된 후 도로특성에 따라 개별적인 보정이 이루어진다. 여러 가지 지도영상에 대한 실험결과를 통해 제안한 방법의 유효성을 입증하였다.

도로 종단선형에 따른 도로교통 소음 특성 분석 (Characteristic of Road Traffic Noise According to Road Vertical Alignment)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of this study is to research the influence of road traffic noise by road slope through the analysis of the field road traffic noise and determine consideration of road slope in the case of appling active noise cancellation. METHODS: This study measures vehicle's noise by the NCPX method at the three field sections such as uphill, downhill, and flatland. Total sound pressure and sound pressure level by the 1/3 octave band frequency are calculated through the raw field data. Total sound pressure level is compared by ANOVA test and T test statistically. The results obtained are compared in accordance with the road slope and the progress of the uphill section. RESULTS : The noise characteristic of early, medium, and last parts of uphill was found to be consistent when the vehicle was travelling uphill section. The result of statistical test, it was shown that total sound pressures are not different each other. According to the comparison by the geometry, sound pressure of the uphill section was higher than those of the flatland and downhill section in high frequency band. By the result of statistical test, total sound pressure are different according to geometry in the case of high vehicle speed. In the comparison result by road slope, each sound pressure level was found to be consistent in total frequency. However, total sound pressure proportionally increased according to road slope. CONCLUSIONS: It is found that the effect of road slope on noise generation was little in this experimental sites.

도시 및 산업환경 분진 및 토양중의 중금속 원소들의 분산에 관한 지구화학적 연구 (A Geochemical Study on the Dispersion of Heavy Metal Elements in Dusts and Soils in Urban and Industrial Environments)

  • The garden soils, main road dusts, residential road dusts, and playground soils/dusts of Seoul, Geumsan, Onsan, and Taebaek areas were analyzed in order to investigate the level of heavy metal pollution by urbanization and industrialization. The soil pH is in the range of 5.48~8.40 and was generally neutral. The color of soils and dusts is mainly Raw Umber to dark greyish Raw Umber. Some samples from Taebaek city, a coal mining area, showed a deep black color due to contamination by coal dusts. Major minerals of the dusts and soils are quartz, feldspars, and micas, reflecting the composition of the parent rocks. However, pyrite was found as a major mineral in the samples of industrial road dusts of Onsan, a smelting area, and resicential road dusts of Taebaek. Thus, the high level of heavy metals in mining and smelting areas can be explained with the sulfide minerals. The mode of occurences of heavy metals in Seoul, a comprehensive urbanized area, were related to the metallic pollutants and organic materials through observation by scanning eletron microscopy. In main road and residential road dusts of Onsan area, Cd, Zn, and Cu were extremely high. Some industrial road and residential road dusts of Seoul area showed high Cu, Zn, and Pb contents, wereas some garden soils and residential road dusts of Taebaek area were high in As content. In general, the heavy metal contents in dust samples were two to three times higher than those in soil samples. Main road dust samples were the most reflective from the discriminant analysis of multi-element data. Cadmium, Sb, and Se in Onsan area, As in Taebaek area, Pb and Te in Seoul area were most characteristic in discriminating the studied areas. Therefore, Cd in smelting areas, As in coal mining areas, and Pb in metropolitan areas can be suggested as the characteristic elements of each pollution pattern. The dispersion of heavy metal elements in urban areas tends to orignate in main roads and deposit in garden soils through the atmosphere and residential roads. The heavy metal contamination in Seoul is characteristic in areas with high population, factory, road, and traffic decsities. Heavy metal contents are high in the vicinity of smelters in Onsan area and are decayed to background levels from one kilometer away from the smelters.

  • There are several kinds of driving conditions according to the characteristic of each vehicle diver. Automaker produces vehicle strong enough to satisfy this several driving conditions at the point of vehicle durability. In order to develop the car in a short period, Automaker engineer tests vehicle at serveral accelerated durability test roads. Before testing the vehicle durability, test engineer must know how much this test road severe than general field road which is composed of high way, city road, paved road and unpaved road. This paper suggests two types of road severity test method that is using relative fatigue life prediction method and using absolute fatigue life prediction method, and also present the merits and demerits of two test methods.

  • Two criteria of good vehicle suspension performance are typically their ability to provide good road handling and increased passenger comfort. So far, The existing active vehicle suspension uses pneumatic and hydraulic actuators that enhance road handling and passenger comfort. But these kinds of actuators have nonlinear characteristic less than an electromagnetic motor. In this research, we are trying to examine the feasibility and the experiment of an active vehicle suspension using electromagnetic motor in order to enhance the ride quality because existing active vehicle suspension using active power sources such as compressors, hydraulic pumps has nonlinear characteristic. Active vehicle suspension using electromagnetic motor will have the ability to behave differently on smooth and rough roads. The desired response should be soft in order to enhance ride comfort, but when the road surface is too rough the suspension should stiffen up to avoid hitting its limits.

  • In this paper, the inductive power transformer using electromagnetic induction for the road/railway applied to contactless power transfer system is suggested and some ideas for power collector design to improve the power transfer performance are presented. The proposed the inductive power transformer is used for the light railway/road transportation system. which has a large air-gap and demands a large electrical power capability. But. low output power is generated due to a loosely coupled characteristic of the large air-gap. Therefore, double layer construction of secondary winding, which was divided in half to increase both output current and output voltage was suggested. In addition, the performance of inductive power transformer to alignment condition between the primary power line and the inductive power transformer was verified by computer simulation of 2kW model.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristic of street markets in land development district, Dae-gu(Sung-su, Yeoung-san and Si-gy Land development districts). The result of this study is as follows, Street markets are located between detached housing estates and cooperative housing estates. Street markets are classified as private road type, linear street type and mixed type, The influential area of street markets is extended form inside of detached housing estates to arterial road. The vitality of street markets is explained by the scale of dwelling area, road system and variety of function.
