확산형 LED램프와 백열램프의 각도별 광속에 관한 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on the Luminous Flux by Degree of Non-directional LED Lamps and Incandescent lamp)

  • In general, non-directional LED lamps including high transmittance cover are more advantageous than directional LED lamps, which are efficient enough to improve luminous efficacy and obtain certification, allowing wide manufacture, sale, and distribution. Although KS C 7651(Self-ballasted LED lamps-Safety and performance requirements) was revised in July 2013, however, many companies are having a lot of difficulties in keeping the certification and product development for the lack of the photometric analysis for non-directional LED lamps. In this paper, through the measurement of the angular distribution of luminous flux of incandescent lamp and non-directional LED lamps, we examined the reasonability of non-directional LED lamps' standards as suggested in KS C 7651. According to the results, even if non-directional LED lamps satisfy KS C 7651, when compared to an incandescent lamp, they showed less diffusive than the incandescent lamp and the distribution of the luminous flux depending on the angle fluctuated greatly even among LED lamps. Judging by the result, the current standard of the non-directional LED lamps, KS C 7651, has been comprehended that the angular distribution of the luminous flux needs to be presented after being much more thoroughly standardized.

  • In this study, we suggest a standardization of the logistics terminologies in Korean Standard to improve its consistency. To support this work, some principles for terminology selection and corrections are studied based on the guideline in international standard. The revised terminologies are summarized in Appendix for 20 logistics-related Korean Standards.

  • The field application through the quality control of self adhesive rubberized asphalt waterproofing sheet was regulated by KS F 4934 of Korea Standard in 2003. However, the regulations that the different material properties of self-Adhesive waterproofing sheets are difficult to quality control on the standard. Therefore, this research was performed for of quality control all affiliations of self-adhesive waterproofing sheet through basic properties test and proposed quality standard revised bill in KS F 4934.

  • Only ground source heat pump units certified according to the regulations in Korea can be adopted in ground source heat pump systems. In this study, domestic and international standards and regulations for ground source heat pump units were investigated. Unlike ISO 13256-1~2, which is the international standard, KS B 8292~8294 for ground source heat pump unit only included rated test conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement various test conditions to the KS B series, because its performance data, which is required to calculate the system's design capacity, is dependent on the change in entering water temperature. The difference between the coefficient of performance of the certified ground source heat pump units and the certified criteria changed significantly according to the operating mode, heat source, and load type, because the criteria increased by about 5% for all. Thus, it is highly suggested that the certification standards be revised while considering the product performance level and various conditions.

  • In Article 311 of the Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health Standards requires the use of Korean Industrial Standards Act in accordance with the Industrial Standardization Act. However, the classification, inspection, maintenance, design, selection, and installation of explosion hazard locations for explosion and explosion prevention and internalization of 'safety' in the performance maintenance phase of electrical machinery and equipment There is no technical and institutional management plan for remodeling and alteration. Analysis of actual conditions and problems related to the installation, use, and maintenance of explosion-proof equipment, comparative analysis of domestic and international technical standards and systems, technical, institutional and administrative systems and systems related to installation, use, and maintenance of explosion-proof equipment, technical personnel and qualifications, etc. It is to propose legislation, system improvement, and technical standard establishment related to the maintenance of explosion-proof facility performance through improvement of the necessity and feasibility study for establishment of the legal status of the management site and management plan. As technical measures, KS standard revision (draft), KOSHA guide (draft) and explosion-proof facility performance maintenance manual were presented. In addition, the institutional management plan proposed the revised rule on occupational safety and health standards, the revised rule on the restriction of employment of hazardous work, and the manpower training program related to the maintenance of explosion-proof facilities and the qualification plan. Enhance safety at the installation, use, and maintenance stage of explosion-proof structured electrical machinery. It is expected to be used to classify explosion hazards, select related equipment, and to update and standardize standards related to installation, use and maintenance.

  • Recently KS documents related to lightning protection were revised complying with the requirements of IEC standards. Lightning protection parts are divided three in IEC, those are arrestor(60099), SPD(61643), and protection facilities(62305). According as international standard is applicable in Korea, type tests, routine tests, and acceptance tests shall be made to demonstrate compliance with the relevant standards. KESRI have installed test equipment which is funded by Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy fit for lightning surge test form 2002, and we introduce the test equipments in detail.

  • IEC 규격은 유럽, 일본 등 해외 여러 나라에서 자국의 규격으로서 이용되고 있으며, 우리나라에서는 현재 산업표준인 KS 형태와 더불어 강제성을 갖는 식품의약품안전청 고시로서도 발행되고 있다. 전자의료기기에 관한 IEC 규격인 IEC 60601 시리즈의 공통규격(IEC 60601-1:2005)이 3판으로 개정됨에 따라, 보조규격과 개별규격 또한 그에 맞추어 제 개정이 필요하다. IEC 규격의 변화 동향을 파악하는 것은 국내 의료기기 제조 수입업체 및 시험검사기관에서 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는, 진단용X선기기와 관련한 3개 규격 IEC 60601-2-44(CT의 기본안전과 필수성능에 관한 규격), IEC 60601-2-45(유방촬영용X선장치의 기본안전과 필수성능에 관한 규격), IEC 60601-2-54(진단용 X선장치의 기본안전과 필수성능에 관한 개별규격)에 대하여 IEC 60601-1의 3판에 맞추어 제 개정된 최신판의 동향 및 특징을 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한 현행 식품의약품안전청 고시가 IEC 60601-1의 2판이 적용된 개별규격을 참고로 하고 있어, 현행 식품의약품안전청 고시와 대비하여 그 특징을 살펴보았다. IEC 60601-1의 3판이 적용된 진단용X선장치 외 2개의 IEC 개별규격의 특징은 다음과 같다. 1) 기계적 위해요인, 특히 움직이는 부분에 대한 내용이 강화되었다. 2) 환자 선량을 표시 및 기록하도록 명시하고 있다. 3) 잠재적인 위험요소에 대해 체계적으로 관리가 가능한 위험관리 프로세스를 도입하고 있다. 4) 과거 Film-Screen System과 더불어 DR system(digital radiography system)에 대해서도 적용하고 있다. 현재 IEC 60601-1의 3판이 적용된 개별규격이 식품의약품안전청 고시로 개정될 예정이므로, 국내 시험 검사기관 및 의료기기 제조 수입업체 등에 유용한 자료가 되기를 기대한다.

IEC 기술표준의 가스폭발위험범위 연구 (A Study on Gas Explosion Hazardous Ranges for International Electrotechnical Commission Technical Standards)

  • The occupational safety and health act defines how to evaluate the explosion hazardous areas according to KS (Korean Industrial Standards). Current KS have to follow IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) 60079-10-1 1st edition and there has been no change since 2008. And its 2nd edition has been revised in 2015. In this study, IEC 1st Ed. (IEC 60079-10-1 1st edition) is compared with IEC 2nd edition. Total 112 case studies including four materials (methane, propane, benzene, methanol) are selected to test and explosion hazardous ranges evaluated by IEC 1st and 2nd Ed. are analyzed according to various leakage pressures and hole sizes. In order to verify the results calculated by them, PHAST, which is one of the most representative consequence analysis programs, is employed. As a result, it can be concluded that there are many differences between IEC 1st and 2nd Ed. due to the discharge and the ventilation parameters. As comparing with PHAST, it is confirmed that IEC 1st provides more conservative values than PHAST. Even if IEC 2nd Ed. provides more conservative for gases, this fails to provide more conservative values for liquids. Therefore, it is worth to note that a large value between the explosion hazardous ranges value calculated by the IEC 1st Ed. and 2nd Ed. should be selected until further investigation and analysis is made. Morevover, the full consideration for IEC 2nd Ed. have to be needed.
