We have analyzed the trade effect of Korea-EU FTA on the Korean fishery sector, after reviewing the trade pattern and the tariff barriers of fishery sector between Korea-EU. For the trade effects, we have categorized into three cases: 1) the complete tariff elimination of all items, 2) the half tariff reduction on top ten valued items, with complete tariff elimination of other items, and 3) the complete tariff elimination, except unbinding top three valued items. The effect of the complete tariff elimination of all items implies the effect of the full achievement of FTA. For other two cases, these effects imply the effects of the transitional phenomenon of FTA since the complete tariff elimination happens gradually over more than ten years. For the complete elimination of tariff, we found that imports are increased by 1.1 billion dollars which is 12.9% increase in average imports during years 2006-2009. Also, exports are increased by 1.3 billion dollars which is 14.5% increase in average exports during same years.

This study intends to analyze the trade competitiveness of Korean films in international markets. Under environmental of film industry, Korean films could be doing better. But the Key success factors Korean films in the foreign markets are the improvement of contents Quality and the diversification of trade market. Namely, Our films is mainly exporting Japanese market and the import depends upon American films. In case the trade specialization index(TSI), The international competitiveness of Korean films shows lower import specialization, by virtue of export increasing of Japan, Europe and other markets in 2000's. On the other hand, The Export Market Share has shown similar pattern to main markets except Japanese market, and the import was almost similar to trend in foreign markets except American films. Consequently the present film strategies and polices that delight limited markets will not be compete in global markets, Korean films or contents is merely called by that name.

This study presents the pattern and determinants of intra-industry trade in Korea's machinery and transport equipment industry focusing the influence of foreign direct investment on intra-industry trade. Using an OLS regression model the determinants of intra-industry trade are investigated. Results indicate that a statistically significant negative relationship is found between intra-industry trade and foreign direct investment, and show that intra-industry trade is positively affected by the degree of product differentiation and export structure similarity. Intra-industry trade is also positively associated with the economies of scale, the level of trade barrier, and transportation costs, although this is not statistically significant. The study found strong evidence that the propensity of foreign direct investment toward export specialized industry makes the negative relationship between intra-industry trade and foreign direct investment.

A 59-year-old female presented with headache and dizziness for one year. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a $52{\times}28$ mm, wellcircumscribed, homogenously enhancing mass lesion without dural attachment located in the left lateral cerebellomedullary cistern. The tumor was excised, and a histological diagnosis was a mixed pattern meningioma of meningothelial and fibroblastic type. A meningioma in the posterior fossa without dural attachment is quite rare. We report a rare case of lateral cerebellomedullary cistern meningioma without dural attachment with literature review.

Stall inception means the phenomena of rotating stall initiation. The initiation mechanism of rotating stall, the existence of stall precursor, the behavior of stall precursor, stall warning scheme and control scheme are the main interests in stall inception research. Compared to the studies on rotating stall which has long history, the stall inception has been studied for about recent 20 years. After the first discovery of stall precursor in about 20 years ago, many studies were reported on stall inception phenomena. The inception pattern of "mode" and "spike" were found, and some of its characteristics are known. And now the stall inception has become one of the fascinating fields in turbomachinery. This paper reviews the results and analysis methods on stall inception studies.

We try to use system dynamics to forecast the demand/supply and price, also transportation fare for iron ore. Iron ore is very important mineral resource for industrial production. The structure for this system dynamics shows non-linear pattern and we anticipated the system dynamic method will catch this non-linear reality better than the regression analysis. Our model is calibrated and tested for the past 6 year monthly data (2003-2008) and used for next 6 year monthly data(2008-2013) forecasting. The test results show that our system dynamics approach fits the real data with higher accuracy than the regression one. And we have run the simulations for scenarios made by possible future changes in demand or supply and fare related variables. This simulations imply some meaningful price and fare change patterns.

This paper presents a decision support system (DSS) for selecting the best delivery policy at an internet general shopping mall with its own distribution center and many outside enterprises linked up with the mall. The DSS provides the decision maker with the performance information of three delivery policies (individual delivery, collective delivery, mixed delivery) for the given service level, customer order pattern, direct/indirect delivery ratio, unit costs of various delivery modes, upper level of goods characteristic index for collective delivery poller, etc. Furthermore, the DSS allows the decision maker to perform the sensitivity analyses of three delivery policies for their major parameters and unit costs of delivery modes. The DSS is developed with AweSim simulation 1anguage and Visual Basic programming 1anguage.

We experienced one case of endobronchial hamartoma on left lower lobar bronchus in sixty year old male patient. Less than 1 % of lung tumors are benign, and the prevalence of endobronchial hamartoma is reported to be from 3 % to 40 %. The mean age was 52.9 years, and equal gender prevalence.Symptoms were related to intraluminal growth, including fever, chill, productive cough, hemoptysis, exertional dyspnea, recurrent pneumonia and so on. Bronchoscopic finding was tumor present as polypoid mass in the lumen of a left main stem bronchus,distal to 3 cm from carina. Biopsy was done. The histopathologic pattern showed several nodules of loose myxoid tissue and islands of cartilage. We performed partial resection of the affected bronchus,1cm anterior to the superior segmental bronchial opening to just distal from superior segmental orifice. Including superior segmentectomy, partial resection of the left lower lobar bronchial resection and end-to-end anastomosis with 4-0 Poly dioxanone sutere materials interruptedly. We report this case with the brief review of literatures.

In Optical Scanning Holography(OSH), 3-D holographic information of an object is generated by 2-D active optical scanning. The optical scanning beam can be a time-dependent Gaussian apodized Fresnel zone plate. In this technique, the holographic information manifests itself as an electric signal which can be sent to an electron-beam-addressed spatial light modulator for coherent image reconstruction. In this paper, we briefly review optical scanning holography and analyze the resolution achievable with the system. We also present mathmatical expressions of real and virtual images which are responsible for holographic image reconstruction. We then show the twin-image noise effect on the reconstruction in conjunction with the size of the Fresnel zone pattern through computer simulation.

A major step towards understanding of the genetic basis of an organism is the complete sequence determination of all genes in target genome. The nucleotide sequence encoded in the genome contains the information that specifies the amino acid sequence of every protein and functional RNA molecule. In principle, it will be possible to identify every protein resposible for the structure and function of the body of the target organism. The pattern of expression in different cell types will specify where and when each protein is used. The amino acid sequence of the proteins encoded by each gene will be derived from the conceptional translation of the nucleotide sequence. Comparison of these sequences with those of known proteins, whose sequences are sorted in database, will suggest an approximate function for many proteins. This mini review describes the development of new sequencing methods and the optimization of sequencing strategies for whole genome, various cDNA and genomic analysis.
