  • After the twenty-first century, the university emphasize on the role of knowledge creation facilities, and for this, various social and educational requirements are changing the environment of higher education. These change makes university that has old facilities difficult to correspond environmental changes. The purpose of this study is to review the facilities manual of Establishment and Management of university and to suggest amendment of Establishment and Management of university by exploring the university educational environment and facilities plan to respond various changes. We reviewed division of university studies, classification system of facilities, Area Standard of building and site in th provision for university establishment and operation, based on studying domestic university facilities standards, space management standards, facilities condition of national/private university and doing a survey of university facilities satisfaction and propriety of facilities standard in 120 universities. According to this study on validity and propriety of rules, we suggest amendment of Establishment and Management of university that can respond changing higher education environment.

  • Purpose: This paper investigates how companies respond to government regulations and disasters in a risk-managed society, and aims to initiate discussions on the future prospects and challenges. Specifically, it explores how companies can plan to respond to such disasters in the future, and stresses that the law should be to protect people's lives and ensure safety, rather than to punish companies. Research design, data and methodology: The study methodology is based on a review of existing literature, as well as trend analysis through big data analysis. The research analyzes the discourse in our society regarding the enactment of the Serious Accident Punishment Act. Results: This study supports that the Serious Accident Punishment Act should be implemented in a manner that does not impede corporate activities, but rather helps to ensure the safety of citizens' daily lives. The authors call for collaboration between communities, labor unions, and companies in achieving a cooperative governance system for a safer society. Conclusions: It highlights the importance of addressing disasters and government regulations in the context of a risk-managed society, and offers insights for both companies and policymakers on how to navigate these challenges. By prioritizing safety and cooperation, we can work towards building a safer and more resilient society

  • Efforts to respond to climate change are being made in various ways around the world, and in the energy field, continuous research and pilot projects are underway through new and renewable energy, efficient power grid management, and power grid services. Systems are in place to realize these efforts, and the systems created allow for better effectiveness. When implementing a system, systems engineering methodology helps design a more systematic system and can provide verification accuracy and uniformity through intuitive connectivity. In this paper, the original requirements of the power grid stabilization system and the architecture of the system's essential constraints are constructed as a conceptual model and the boundaries and flows between components are defined. By utilizing distributed resources such as EV(Electric Vehicle) and ESS(Energy Storage System) in the power service platform system, we plan to design and build a next-generation power service system that can participate in the power stabilization market and implement a system necessary to respond to climate change in the future.

  • Purpose: In this study, we proposed a plan to establish and implement a safety and health management system by utilizing corporate resources so that manufacturing companies can effectively respond to the Serious Accident Punishment Act. Methods: We identified critical factors and response strategies necessary for manufacturing companies to respond to the Severe Accident Punishment Act effectively and surveyed employees working at the company regarding their importance and performance. Results: In this study, we presented a method of strategically constructing the response strategies (20) shown in previous studies by matching them with the company's resources (leadership, organization, budget, education, and awareness). In particular, leadership refers to the ability of managers who can prevent serious accidents by carrying out safety and health security obligations to avoid safety and health hazards or risks to employees in the business or workplace that is controlled, operated, and managed. Conclusion: Based on the manager's firm leadership, the system's purpose and direction must be accurately set and sufficiently communicated to members. In addition, for companies to identify and improve risk factors on their own, a Process approach must be established to improve execution by referring to legal standards together with field managers and supervisors.

  • This study aims to develop a vision and policy plan to realize the humanities and social values of libraries in Gyeongsangbuk-do and to respond to the rapidly changing social environment of the future. To achieve this goal, seven evaluation criteria were identified, and 19 evaluation indicators were selected. Implications were drawn by assessing the performance and importance of plan implementation. A major implication was that while the perception of the plan's extent and importance was generally high, the extent and importance of items such as establishing and operating a joint archive, providing employment and entrepreneurship support programs for people of all ages, and activating parent volunteers were all low. Based on these findings, the policy tasks were developed, consisting of 10 policy tasks and 28 action tasks under four strategies.

  • In the event of a disaster, we need people who specialize in rapid regional disaster recovery. However, in the present disaster response system, disaster relief is carried out at the level of public support, volunteer service, etc. There are various problems such as initial response due to lack of expertise, delays in disaster recovery, and inadequate response to disasters. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a unit with early ability to respond to local governments in the event of a disaster and expertise to enable rapid disaster recovery. Therefore, this study limited the preparation of the reserve forces emergency response units for the direction of local security, disaster relief and disaster relief through emergency disaster recovery under the disaster situation.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest useful resources concerning the plan to prepare for population aging in the future through investigating architectural characters of the 'Kyungrodang' and its operating systems located near the apartment complex and needs of the 'Kyungrodang'. For this purpose, the study includes field research, interviews, a questionnaire, and a survey targeting each of two apartments located in the Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. A survey targeting the elderly in their late 70 to 80 years 60 to 70 years was conducted and the differences regarding program needs of leisure activities for the elderly and revitalization of 'Kyungrodang' were analyzed. The results of the present study provide suggestions for improvement and solutions to the existing problems of standardized 'Kyungrodang'. Furthermore, the present results can be a basic resource for the elaboration of an appropriate management method and a spatial plan that would respond to the increased needs of facilities and programs for the elderly in the apartment complex. Finally, the results of the present study are expected to make a meaningful contribution to making 'Kyungrodang' the space where the elderly can obtain physical and mental support, as well as enjoy social activities, improve their health, and manage their everyday life.

  • Dongdaemun Fashion District has been successfully positioned as the main hub for fashion product distribution in Korea since 1960 thanks to its unique and successful fashion merchandising system. This system enables the distributors to respond quickly to consumer need and inexpensive price. However, at the present time, Dongdaemun Fashion District has been facing serious challenges from new types of retail stores such as fast fashion brands like ZARA and online shopping malls. To achieve this result, statistical analysis was performed using data from 68 employees of wholesalers in the Dongdaemun Fashion District. They were required to answer questions regarding the marketing system supporting program, amenities like restrooms, and traffic congestion. For the case study, C.I.S, a successful global wholesale system in Italy, was selected. C.I.S has 130 offices offering professional services in the field of trade, legal and tax issues, and insurance. This study suggests cooperation among related wholesalers in order to make an area management plan in the Dongdaemun Fashion District. Also, for the wholesalers to build up product information system and infrastructure for the Global marketing strategy.

  • With the emergence of environment-friendly paradigms, many countries around the world have enacted various laws to take care of environmental pollution-related problems. The goal of these environmental laws and regulations was to properly respond to rapid environmental pollution. Because of the simultaneous enactment of these laws on diverse pollution sources, however, a variety of problems, including an unclear correlation among these laws, have occurred. As a result, workers have found it hard to collect and use the related laws and regulations. Therefore, this study proposes a metadata-based information retrieval method for the efficient search of environment-friendly laws and regulations. The laws and regulations were structured using metadata from users, business stage, topic and department. These were obtained through semantic analysis on environment-friendly laws and regulations, and then an intelligent retrieval approach was utilized. To verify the retrieval plan, a test case was conducted, and improvement in retrieval accuracy against the conventional system was confirmed. It appears that the proposed plan will improve productivity in the construction industry by improving accuracy in retrieving environment-friendly laws and regulations.
