  • 발전사업자는 한국전력거래소(KPX)의 급전지령을 원활히 수행하기 위해 EMS(Energy Management System) RTU를 설치하고 있다. 한국수자원공사는 수력발전소에 전기판넬 형식의 EMS RTU 대신 컴퓨터 기반의 가상(Virtual) EMS RTU를 설치하여 기존의 RTU방식에 비하여 설비 면적을 대폭 줄였으며, 설비 변동에 따른 감시제어 데이터의 수정시 하드웨어적인 작업을 소프트웨어적으로 간단하게 처리할 수 있다. 그래서 가상 EMS RTU는 발전통합운영시스템(GIOS)을 실시간으로 운영, 감시하여 장애를 신속히 복구함으로써 중앙급전소 발전기 원격운전 응답 특성을 향상시켜 전력계통의 안정적인 운영에 크게 기여하고 있다.

  • The waste home appliances including television sets, refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners have increasingly received environmental concerns in Taiwan. In light of the enforcement of Waste Disposal Act (WDA), the Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) has certified 60 recycling/storage facilities and given permission for qualified companies to build six treatment plants around the island. Now the recycling and well treatment home appliances are estimated to be 3,342,369 units until May 31, 2001. This paper describes the present status of waste home appliance recycle and its treatment in Taiwan. The principle guidelines and policies regarding recycling, resource recovery and environmental concerns are presented.

  • In case of the problems with multiple plants, alternative operation sequence, alternative machine, setup time, and transportation time between plants, we need a robust methodology for the integration of process planning and scheduling in supply chain. The objective of this model is to minimize the tardiness and to maximize the resource utilization. So, we propose a multi-objective model with limited-capacity constraint. To solve this model, we develope an efficient and flexible model using adaptive genetic algorithm(AGA), compared to traditional genetic algorithm(TGA)

Plant Genetic Resources in Lam Dong province - Vietnam : Brief in medicine plants and wild orchids situation

  • Lam Dong Province of Vietnam has an exceptional diversity of orchids and herbs. At least 920 herb species are widely mentioned in Vietnamese traditional medicinal literature and over 239 Lam Dong wild orchid species are used for attention under the Conservation Vietnamese wild orchids projects. In collaboration with Department of Plant Biotechnology, Dongguk University - South Korea working under supported ODA funds from Korea government (MIFAFF), we will consider how to collecting and preserving these plants in situ or conservating in vitro as a genetic resource.

준고랭지에서 아피오스의 적정 파종시기 (Shoot yield and growth characteristics of Pteridium spp. according to the dickness of sowed seed root)

  • 아피오스(Apios americana Medikus)는 콩과에 속하는 덩굴성 식물로 원산지는 북미대륙 중동부로 알려져 있으며 지하부의 뿌리가 변형된 괴근 부위를 식용으로 하고 있다. 아피오스의 괴근은 건물당 단백질 함량이 16.5%로 감자에 비해 3배 가량 높고 지방산 함량은 4.2~4.6% 범위로 Linoleic acid가 주를 이루고 있다. 또한 감자에 비해 칼슘 함량이 10배 가량 높고 철분함량은 2배 가량 높아 기능성 건강식품으로 유망시되고 있다. 아피오스는 일교차가 큰 준고랭지역에서도 재배가능성이 높지만 최근의 기후변화에 따라 파종기의 저온피해 등으로 안정적인 입모율의 확보가 문제시 되고 있다. 준고랭지 지역에서 아피오스의 파종시기별 출현양상 및 수량성을 구명하기 위해 표고 500m의 허브산채시험장 포장에서 2018년 4월 25일, 5월 9일, 5월 16일, 5월 28일 4회 걸쳐 흑색비닐을 피복한 1줄 재배양식으로 아피오스 괴근을 파종하였다. 파종 후 30일, 50일간의 누적 출현율은 5월 18일 파종이 파종 30일 후 52.5%를 보였으며 같은 기간 동안의 유효적산온도는 $276.9^{\circ}C$ 범위였고, 5월 30일 파종에서 파종 후 30일간의 누적 출현율은 80.4%롤 보였으며 유효적산 온도는 $329.2^{\circ}C$를 나타냈다. 파종시기별 유효적산온도와 누적 출현율 간의 관계를 나타내는 관계식은 $y=0.1155{\times}1.0415$의 지수함수로 표현할 수 있었으며, 준고랭지(남원시 운봉읍)에서 2007~2017년까지의 10년간 평균기온을 기준으로 관계식을 적용한 결과 평년 기준 5월 18일 파종하는 경우 50일간 유효적산온도는 $390.5^{\circ}C$를 보였고 출현율은 55.6%가 기대되었으며 6월 11일에는 $601.5^{\circ}C$의 적산온도로 85.3%의 출현이 예상되었다. 파종시기별 총 괴근수는 5월 30일 파종에서 17.5개/주로 유의하게 적었으며 상품 괴근중 및 상품률도 유의하게 적은 경향이었고, 출현율을 고려한 단위면적당 상품 괴근수량은 5월 18일 파종에서 602.5㎏/10a로 가장 높았고 4월 25일 파종에서 348.6㎏/10a로 가장 낮아 준고랭지 아피오스 재배에서 적정 파종시기는 5월 중순으로 판단되었다.

목본성 식물의 휘발성 성분 GC/MS 분석 (GC/MS analysis of volatile constituents from woody plants)

  • To search for the new development of industrial application of woody plants, the chemical composition of the volatile constituents from woody plants (Evodia daniellii, Clerodendron trichotomum, Prunus padus, and Zanthoxylum ailanthoides) was determined by GC and GC/MS spectrometric analysis with the aid of NBS, Wiley Library and RI indice searches. The major constituents were t-ocimene from the leaves of E. daniellii, linalool from the leaves of C. trichotomum, benzaldehyde from the leaves and twigs of P. padus, ${\beta}$-thujene from the leaves of Z. ailanthoides, and 2-undecanone from the stems of Z. ailanthoides. These results suggested that the major volatile constituents of woody plants could be a useful lead compound in the development of functional materials for industrial application.

충청북도 괴산군 조령산 일대 식물상의 특성별 분류 (Classification by Characteristics of Flora in Mt. Joryeong, Geosan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do)

  • 본 연구는 충청북도 괴산군 연풍면 조령산 일대 분포하는 식물상을 체계적이고 객관적으로 분석하여 자연환경보전의 기초 자료 제공과 더불어 충청북도 내 분포하는 식물상의 데이터베이스화하는데 목적이 있다. 조사시기는 2004년 11월부터 2005년 9월까지 계절별로 조사를 수행하였고 조사경로는 A 경로(휴량림 입구${\sim}$신선봉), B 경로(신선봉${\sim}$마패봉), C 경로(조령 제3관문${\sim}$마패봉), D 경로(용성골${\sim}$깃대봉)로 구분하여 실시하였다. 관속식물상 조사결과, 85과 219속 299종 36변종 6품종 등 총 341분류군으로 관찰되었다. 산림청 지정 희귀 및 멸종위기식물은 백작약, 꼬리진달래, 태백제비꽃 등 3분류군이 조사되었다. 한국특산식물은 개비자나무, 호랑버들, 매화말발도리, 조팝나무, 털조록싸리, 산앵도나무, 참배암차즈기, 병꽃나무, 고려엉겅퀴 등 총 9분류군이 확인되었다. 자원식물상 조사결과, 관상용 식물자원은 171종(50.1%), 식용식물자원은 222종(65.1%), 약용식물자원은 237종(69.5%), 기타용 식물자원은 146종(42.8%)으로 나타났다.

Biological Resources Potential and the Recent State of International Cooperation in Indonesia

  • Indonesia is a mega-biodiversity country having at least one trillion US Dollars value of biological resources per year over the next 20 years. Indonesia is home to 11 percent of the world's flowering plant species and 12 percent of all mammals. Many of Indonesia's species and more than half of the archipelago's endemic plant species are found nowhere else on the Earth. This information is just a small portion of all higher plants and animals being found in Indonesia. Former studies described that total number of species in Indonesia is estimated more than 1,000,000 and most of them remain unknown scientifically. Most of lower plants and animals have not been studied yet, so that greatest portion of Indonesia's biological resources has never been assessed with respect to its economic value or conservation status. Many developed countries are building cooperation with Indonesia on resources, mainly in the fields of grant aid, socio-economic services, R & D, researcher exchange, technology transfer, infrastructure, education/training, finance, etc. Indonesia will obtain greater benefits and management of its biological richness via increasing its international capacity to add value and information to its biological diversity. These goals can be achieved by close international collaboration on search of important biological resources and other bioactive products that have potential economic values. Development of biological resource-based technology stands as the industry of the $21^{st}$ century and, therefore, Indonesia has a unique opportunity to lead the process in the world.

Molecular Authentication of Magnoliae Flos Using Robust SNP Marker Base on trnL-F and ndhF Region

  • Magnoliae Flos (Sini in Korean) is one of the most important oriental medicinal plants. In the Korean Herbal Pharmacopeia, the bud of the all species in Manolia denudate and Manolia genus were regarded as the botanical sources for ‘Sini’. Most the dried bud of Manolia denudata, Manolia biondii and Manolia sprengeri were used as ‘Xin-yi’ in China. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine and compare the ‘Magnolia’ species, four species including Manolia denudata, M. biondii, M. liliiflora and M. Kobus were analysis of sequencing data revealed DNA polymorphisms. The based on tRNA coding leucine/phenylalanine (trnL-F) and NADH-plastoquinone oxidoreductase subunit 5 (ndhF) sequences in chloroplast DNA. For the identification of ‘Magnolia’ species, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis of chloroplast DNA regions such as ndhF have proven an appropriate method. A single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) has been identified between genuine “Sini” and their fraudulent and misuse. Specific PCR primers were designed from this polymorphic site within the sequence data, and were used to detect true plants via multiplex PCR.

Molecular Authentication of Acanthopanacis Cortex by Multiplex-PCR Analysis Tools

  • Acanthopanacis Cortex has been used for oriental medicinal purposes in Asian countries especially in Korea and China. In the Korean Pharmacopeia, the cortexes of the dried roots, stems and branches of all species in Eleutherococcus and Eleutherococcus sessiliflorus are known as 'Ogapi'. Mostly the cortexes of E. gracilistylus roots and E.senticosus roots were used as 'Ogapi' in China and Japan, respectively. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine and compare the molecular authentication of Korean 'Ogapi' by using the ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region. The ITS region has the highest possibility of effective and successful identification for the widest variety of molecular authentication. The ITS region was targeted for molecular analysis with Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) specific for morphologically similar to E. gracilistylus, E. senticosus, E. sessiliflorus from their adulterant, moreover, E. sieboldianus were detected within sequence data. Thus, based on these SNP sites, specific primers were designed and multiplex PCR analysis were conducted for molecular authentication of four plants (E. gracilistylus, E. senticosus, E. sessiliflorus, and E. sieboldianus). The findings of results indicated that ITS region might be established multiplex-PCR analysis systems and hence were proved to be an effective tools for molecular evaluation and comparison of 'Ogapi' with other plants.
