  • This paper is developed to Energy Balance Flow show the flow of total energy resource be used nationally. The Energy Balance Flow is applicable of demand management factor through the analysis of foreign energy model of supply and demand and energy statistic data in the country. This study is based on and developed to Energy system management model is able to appraisal efficient of energy cost cutting, CO2 emission reduction and Energy saving at the national level calculated effect reached amount of primary energy to change of energy flow followed application of demand side management factor is able to appraisal quantitatively at the total energy to model of demand and supply.

  • Photovoltaics is considered to be one of the most promising technologies which can greatly contribute to future energy supply because of a large, secure, essentially inexhaustible and broadly available resource - sunlight. However, recent progresses in photovoltaics make also possible its short-term practical application in some areas. Among them the solar air conditionner powered by photovoltaic system attracts considerable interest due to its main advantage which consists in the reduction of drastically increasing electricity peak load in summer season. In this review paper our current study on the solar air conditionner will be briefly summarized.

  • The managerial environment of automobile industry has been rapidly changing, mainly with the tighter standard of legal and environmental regulations, the pressure of cost reduction from the end-user, the various functional improvements of vehicles, and the globalization management. In order to survive in this complicate circumstances, the automakers have strongly pursued the mutual collaboration with the suppliers, especially tier-1, for the optimal selection of parts/materials and the assembly manufacturing processes of the new model development. They prepare the early involvement program for the suppliers during the conceptual design stage, and implement the win-win strategy of technology development activity, in order to improve the value creation. This study considers the strategic technology management of automotive steel sheets makers on the aspects of strategy, processes, human & physical resources, and organization structure. It also suggests the corporate strategies of steel mills, in order to obtain the technology competence.

  • Third party logistics research is searching for increasing its logistics efficiency of organization. Perspective of resource-based theory, this study is to reveal the exploratory relation between integrated capabilities, organzaiton knowledge, and service performance. To develop the relational model, this study conducted a theoretical survey on Shang(2009)'s 3PL service providers research model and Synder & Cumming(1998)'s learning of organization knowledge. According to the result of correlation analysis, Integrated organization knowledge is positively correlated with service diversity advantage (correlation coefficient= .670, p-value= .000) and service quality advantage (correlation coefficient= .575, p-value= .000). The thesis argued that Korean companies try to apply integrated organization abilities and service performance for cutting their export expense.

ServerNet and ATM Interconnects: Comparison for Compressed Video Transmission

  • We have developed fully functional Video Server and Client applications which can transmit, receive, decompress and display compressed video over various networks. Our video trans-port allows dynamic rate control feedback, loss detection, and repair requests from Clients to the Server. Our experiments show how feedvack-before-degradation scheme for rate adaptation maintains good display frame-rate for video playback. We show how the playback degradation(reduction in display frame-rate) oc-curs and what happens if corrective measures are not taken to im-prove the situation. The degradation is attributed to the increased internal kernel buffering which consumes scarce CPU resources. We demontrate with our experimental results that ServerNet, with improved hardware delivery guarantees, can significantly reduce host CPU resource consumption while serving video streams. We present the maximum number of streams which can be served for each of ATM and ServerNet interconnects. The appropriate user-level packet size for the video server are also determined for each case.

  • Renewable energy resources will be an increasingly important part of power generation in the new millennium. Besides assisting in the reduction of the emission of greenhouse gases, they add the much needed flexibility to the energy resource mix by decreasing the dependence on fossil fuels. Due to their modular characteristics, ease of installation and because they can be located closer to the user, PV system have great potential as distributed power source to the utilities. In this paper, a dc-de power converter scheme with the push-pull based technology is proposed to apply for solar power system which has many features such as high efficiency, stable output, and low acoustic noises, DC-DC converter is used in proposed topology has stable efficiency curve at all load range and very high efficiency characteristics. This paper presents the design of a single-phase photovoltaic inverter model and the simulation of its performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the assessment categories, items and detailed criteria for environmental friendly evaluation on the School. The results of this study brings on promoted environmental friendly appreciation, energy and resource conservation, reduction of contaminant, improvement of environment quality in and around buildings. For this purpose, analysis of domestic and foreign environmental friendly architectural citation screening system-BREEAM(1991), LEED 2.0(2001), GBTool(2002), KICTEAC (2000), KOEAM(2000), etc.-was preceded, and through interview, survey and forum with professional group, the developed evaluation items were verified and reappraised. The developed evaluation items were composed of thirty four essential evaluation items and nine bonus items.

  • An intrusion can be defined as any set of actors that attempt to compromise the integrity, confidentiality and availability of computer resource and destroy the security policy of computer system. The Intrusion Detection System that detects the intrusion consists of data collection, data reduction, analysis and detection, and report and response. It is important for feature selection to detect the intrusion efficiently after collecting the large set of data of Intrusion Detection System. In this paper, the feature selection method using Genetic Algorithm and Decision Tree is proposed. Also the method is verified by the simulation with KDD data.

  • South Korea is a ninth greenhouse gas emission nation in the world(2007) and is certainly to perform a duty to conduct reduction role by the Kyoto Protocol in 2013. waste concrete produced in the country is 45 million tons per year and these two issues are being came to the fore as major problems of society. However, if it utilizes wet carbonation system carbon using carbon dioxide and waste concrete as raw material it can expect effect of environmental protection and resource recycling. Furthermore, it can exploit another industry production.
