유도가열 증기발생장치의 온도제어 (A Study on the Temperature Control of Vapor System Using Induction Heating)

  • 제안한 유도가열 시스템은 증류탑 장치에 사용되는 특수적층 규칙충진체에 의한 열 교환기술과 IH(Induction-Heating)전자유도가열용의 특수한 고주파 전력회로 기술을 응용한 차세대 가열방식이다. 본 전자유도 유체가열기술은 IGBT대응의 고주파 인버터를 사용하여 상용교류로부터 수[kHz]의 고주파 교류를 발생시킬 수 있다. 공진형 고주파 인버터를 사용함으로 고성능, 고효율의 시스템화가 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 주파수 범위가 20[kHz]에서 44[kHz]인 고주파 공진형 인버터을 이용하여 증기를 발생시키는 유도가열시스템에 대해 제안한 온도제어에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, a prototype of the auxiliary resonant commutated snubber circuit(ARCS) with a high frequency transformer power regeneration loop is described for voltage source type sinewave inverter system. This is a new soft switching topology developed for three phase voltage source soft-switching inverter, active power filter and reactive power compensator has significant advantage of current rating reduction for auxiliary active switching devices. In addition, this paper presents a novel prototype of voltage-source soft switching space vector-modulated inverter with ARCS mentioned above, which is more suitable and acceptable for high-power utility interactive power conditioning, along with a digital control scheme. The steady-state operating analysis of ARCS has the remarkable features and the practical design procedure of this resonant snubber are illustrated on the basis of computer simulation analysis. The operating performance evaluations in the steady-state of this three phase voltage source soft switching inverter are discussed and compared with the three phase voltage source hard switching inverter.

  • The utility interfaced sinewave modulation Inverter for the solar photovoltaic power conditioner with a high frequency transformer is presented for residential applications. As compared with the conventional full-bridge hard switching slnewave PWM inverter with a high frequency link, the simplest single-ended edge-resonant soft switching sinewave inverter with a sinewave duty cycle pulse control scheme is implemented, resulting in size and weight reduction, low cost and high efficiency This paper presents a prototype system of the sinewave zero voltage soft switching sinewave inverter for solar power conditioner, along with its operating principle and unique features. In addition to these, this paper discusses a control implementation to deliver high quality output current. Major design of each component and the power loss analysis under actual power processing is also discussed and evaluated from an experimental point of view A newly developed utility-connected sinewave power conditioning circuit which achieves 92.5% efficiency under 4kW output is demonstrated.

  • A high frequency resonant inverter consisting of three unit half-bridge serial resonant inverter used as power source of induction heating at high frequency is presented in this paper. As a output power control strategy, tine-sharing gate control method is applied. The analysis of the proposed circuit is generally described by using the normalized parameters. Also, according to the calculated characteristics value, a method of the circuit design and operating characteristics of the inverter is proposed. This paper proves the validity of theoretical analysis through the experiment. This proposed inverter show that it can be practically used in future as power source system for induction heating application, DC-DC converter etc.

  • The purpose of this paper is to improve power conversion efficiency of three-phase soft-switching voltage-source inverter with an auxiliary resonant dc link (ARDCL) snubber circuit. Firstly, the operation principle of ARDCL snubber circuit is described. Secondly, this paper proposes an effictive generation method of zero voltage vector for three-phase voltage-source soft-switching inverter in power losses in which power losses in the ARDCL snubber circuit can be reduced. In particular, zero voltage holding interval in the inverter DC busline can be controlled due to the new generation scheme of zero voltage vector. Thirdly, a simulator for power loss analysis for power loss characteristics based on actual system, is developed. the validity of developed. The validity of developed simulator of proved with experimental results. Finally, power efficency of three-phase inverter is estimated according to high carrier frequency by using the simulatior.

  • 최근에 유도 전동기의 고효율 구동을 위하여 ZVT(Zero Voltage Transition) 언버터에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며 또한 많은 토폴로지가 제안되었다. 하지만 기존의 ZVT 인버터는 보조공진 회로부분에 과도한 컴포년트의 추가사용으로 인하여 가격상승 및 제어회로가 복잡해지는 문제점이 있다. 이의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 보조 공진 수위치 하나만을 사용하는 다이오드 브릿지-타입 ZVT 인버터를 제안하고, 이의 동작을 이론적으로 해석하였으며, ZVT용 보조공진회로의 설계 방법에 대하여 논하였다. 또한 제안된 ZVT 인버터가 최적의 조건으로 구동하기 위한 공진기간 가변제어에 대해 논의하고 이의 유용성을 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통하여 입증하였다.

  • Driving the electrodeless fluorescent lamp, the high ac voltage with high frequency is required. The linear power amplifier has been widely used as a driving circuit of electrodeless fluorescent lamp. However, the low efficiency of the power amplifier causes th driving circuit to be replaced by a PWM switching inverter. In order to use a PWM switching inverter as the driving circuit of an electrodeless fluorescent lamp, the high switching frequency is required. But due to the switching loss at switches of the inverter, the limitation of high switching frequency appears in the inverter. One solution to this limitation is to reduce the switching loss by using the zero voltage switching technique. In this paper, zero voltage switching resonant inverter for driving an electrodeless fluorescent lamp is discussed. The results of analysis about the inverter are presented and the equations for design are established. And the validity of the analyzed results are verified through the experiment.

  • This paper presents a voltage source type half-bridge series resonant high frequency (HF) inverter for induction heated fixing roller in copy machines. This high-frequency inverter works under zero current soft switching (ZCS) commutation and has wide power regulation range due to employing a pulse density modulation (PDM) scheme. Transient and steady state operating modes of the inverter are presented in this paper together with its PDM-based power regulation system. Experimental operating performances of the developed HF-ZCS inverter as well as power losses and actual efficiency are discussed and compared with computer simulation results.

  • This paper presents the two lossless auxiliary inductors-assisted voltage source type half bridge (single ended push pull: SEPP) series resonant high frequency inverter for induction heated fixing roller in copy and printing machines. The simple high-frequency inverter treated here can completely achieve stable zero current soft switching (ZCS) commutation for wide its output power regulation ranges and load variations under its constant high frequency pulse density modulation (PDM) scheme. Its transient and steady state operating principle is originally described and discussed for a constant high-frequency PDM control strategy under a stable ZCS operation commutation, together with its output effective power regulation characteristics-based on the high frequency PDM strategy. The experimental operating performances of this voltage source SEPP ZCS-PDM series resonant high frequency inverter using IGBTs are illustrated as compared with computer simulation results and experimental ones. Its power losses analysis and actual efficiency are evaluated and discussed on the basis of simulation and experimental results. The feasible effectiveness of this high frequency inverter appliance implemented here is proved from the practical point of view.
